I know, I know......I've been off-line for a long time. Been extremely busy, selling my house in Fort Lauderdale and moving to BFE, Iowa, Louisianna. I sold my beautiful Lakeside 4k sq ft house and moved to the country and a 1 bedroom, 1 bath farm house. Yes, a real farm house on lots of acreage.

I was inspired to re-start my blog to record my antics on the farm and preparation to go full-time on the road in a RV in the next year or so. This was the first big step. DOWNSIZING!!! The farm house is actually wonderfully roomy (love my farm house!) but did require that I leave alot of things behind or given away to family. I still have along way to go to get to RV size but atleast I'm starting.

The hardest part has been severing my ties with my clothes, WAAAHHH! Any city girl knows that anything less than a 100 sq ft closet full of clothes is unacceptable and verging on living like a homeless person. Wearing an outfit more than once a month is almost unspeakable. I thought I had done a great job, giving up 5, 40lb Contractor garbage bags, full of clothes and bringing only 5 large storage containers of clothes to Lousianna. WELL, that, apparently is only the tip of the iceberg. I have been advised by my partner (whom I'll refer to as Nautica) that I have not even made a dent in the amount of clothes I must part with to live full-time in an RV. This has been so painful for me, I have not even begun to sort through my storage containers. I honestly believe I may have to call TLC, producers of the Hoarders, Buried Alive show, to come help me physcologically deal with this task.

Living in the country is peaceful, quiet and has a very calming effect on the soul. You have allot of time to think.......this can be very dangerous for an Aquarian like me. I've already thought of a zillion different home businesses to start, lol. Now, if I could only realistically narrow it down to one profitable one. Working on-line right now is not an option since we don't have cable internet out here, only hot spot coverage (mi-fi) which can get costly.

Going forward, my Blog will be more directed at preparing for life on the road in an RV and sharing useful tips and websites that I find regarding the same. Not to mention my life in the Country. I welcome any comments or advice regarding full time RVing and networking with those that have the same interests. 'Til next time DREAM BIG!

Online Money Making is Fun

Whew! It's been a very busy couple of weeks for me. I have started not 1 but 2 new on-line businesses.
www.onlinepmoneygeneration.com and www.loseweightbefit.com. I really excited about these 2 new launches and hope you will visit them both and share with your friends and family. They are both great programs that I endorse and find them both to be very useful programs.

I have also been toiling away on getting my Coupon business. My blog, Couponing with The Dream Maker, is up and limping along, lol. I have been so busy with the other 2 that I kinda neglected the poor thing. But I am up to speed and will be posting alot of useful information shortly. I have been saving a tremendous amount of money using the tips I'll share on that site. Let's Get Started!!!! Lesson 1

Yippee! It's Sunday, coupon day. I hope you all received your Sunday papers and found your Smart Source and Red Plum inserts. TIP: Buy more than one paper. I personally buy 4. Saturday's paper price is half the cost of Sundays paper, so I usually buy 3 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. This weeks' paper did not include a Proctor and Gamble Insert. Boo!!!!!

Make sure to obtain all the weekly ads from your Grocery store and local Drugstores. Most of these can be found in your paper, if not may be downloaded on line. You can also get them at the store whenever you pop in during the week. Look through the items you intend to purchase and circle the with a black sharpie. Compare the prices between the stores that you shop and determine the best deal. Then look for your coupons.

Cut ALL coupons from the inserts (unless your prefer to file your coupons by date). I find that whether I need a coupon that week or not, I usually find deals in the coming weeks in which I can utilize them and also gives me an opportunity to STACK my coupons. Stacking refers to using more than one coupon on 1 item. Example: I may have a $2.00 off coupon from the manufacturer that I clipped on 5/15, have a store coupon from Walgreen's weekly ad for $1.00 , and it's on sale at Publix for $3.99. I can use both coupons ($3.00) off the sale price. Example: Purina One Cat food on sale for $3.99 for a 3.15 lb bag (regularly $5.99). I can now purchase this item for $.99. Pretty good deal, huh! Since I buy four papers, I will stock up on this item and buy four bags for $15.96 less $12.00 in coupons, I only pay $3.96 for 4 bags of cat food that would have cost me $23.96 regular price. That's a $20.00 dollar savings. Hmmm, maybe I'll go get a manicure with my savings. After all couponing is hard work, lol, so I deserve it, don't you?

Publix and Walmart accept coupons from other stores. Others in your area may do the same, so check with your local stores and ask for a copy of their coupon policy to keep with you when you shop, in case the cashier doesn't know the policy. To Survey or not to Survey

Have you seen invites to participate in surveys for money in your e-mail? Well, I decided to take a day and see if this was a viable option to actually earn some money. I spent the last couple of days registering for a multitude of survey websites. May I say at this point, that is exactly what consumed my time! The trick is definately to sign up for alot of sites and pick and choose which surveys/tasks are worth your time. I made about $60.00 in total from about 10 different sites. The payouts on most sites have a minimum threshold before they will distribute your earnings via Paypal or direct deposit, so this is definately a long term time investment.

I do think however; once you get through the pain of setting up all the survey sites you chose to work with, that you can make a little money doing simple surveys and tasks. Be careful though, alot of the survey sites require participation in an advertised site. I did not choose to complete any survey that cost me money by way of trial offers. The flip side to this is if you are really organized and have the patience, you can actually make some decent money The trick is to keep diligent records of every trial you signed for and cancel before the trial period ends. Seems like alot of work for a little money. I may try this just for grins and giggles to see how much you can actually make and let everyone know if this is really worth the time investment. The Real Work Begins!!!

The "Dream Maker" didn't have many dreams this weekend as there was no time for sleep. Starting any new business requires alot of reading, research and more reading and more research. I have come to the conclusion that this will be my job for the next several weeks, months, and years as there is so much to learn about the Internet business. It's basically like learning a whole new language. My kids probably would have had this up and running in a couple of hours but being an old dog it took me 3 days! Yikes!!!

I did find some great sites which I am happy to share with anyone interested in starting their own blog. The first being my new mentor and bible blog: http://grizzlybrears.com/. Griz has a great tutorial on how to set up your own site. "Grizzly's How to Make Money on the Internet for Beginners" is very informative and a hoot to read. I have spent many hours reading his sites and still have tons to go through. Be careful though, he is very addicting....you could end up like me, reading through the night. This is not helping me in the looks department, I'm staring to resemble a raccoon, not to mention, I think my butt is already spreading. I guess this is an occupational hazard.

I have also been following another wonderful blogger: http://nojobformom.com/. She is a veteran blogger and has alot of information which will save you time and money. Felicia shares her experiences from her beginnings in the Internet marketing business and finding sources of income on the net. She also provides excellent links to forums on freelance writing and gives great advice on what Internet tools are worth investing your hard earned time and money.
