From my personal journal:

My grandson makes me laugh more than any other reason because he is so much like my boys and specifically his Dad.

He has an amazing spirit.
He is filled with wonder, strength, curiosity, and love.
He has a strong will and will not be deterred.
He has compassion and never accepts anyone around him being hurt, sad, or in some way not seeming happy.

Amazingly intelligent, stunningly handsome, a gentle soul, and everything I would like to be as a grown man.
He is a miracle.

His mother and father went through it, just like I and my son's mother did with him.

The end was worth all that had to be done. His mom, and my new daughter, agree...
He is a miracle.

He is Bentley.
He is my grandson.
He is still a boy.

He is also the best grandson one could ask for. (And yes, I AM biased, wanna fight?)

That is why he will *always* be my B-Boy.

Ezra Rain.

It was a relief.

As we have all experienced those latter rains when the day needs some cooling off, but no one wants to get drenched.

That easy rainfall; It refreshes and lifts the spirits and you usually don't expect it when it comes.

It brings a smile when you get caught in it.

Maybe even a quiet laugh.

Sometimes, it can take your breath and make you sigh as you wonder whether you will need an umbrella.

She is beautiful.

She makes you fall in love or at least remember what it is like to.

She is ahead of her time.

She is a miracle.

She *is* my EZ-Rain.

A Prayer For Those Who Have Lost Loved Ones

Today, please think about the fragility of life. Pray for the comfort of those who are hurting over the loss of it. Two people (at least) lost someone dear to them in the past 24 hours. Please agree with me (Matthew 18:19-20) by saying amen at the end of this prayer:

Father in Heaven, please comfort those who have lost loved ones and keep them from being overcome with grief. Bless them in a way that not only brings them comfort but also helps them comfort other loved ones experiencing the loss.
Show them Your love in a special way that they know comes from you and take this tragedy and use it to draw them closer to you. Thank you Father. Your love and mercy endures forever. In the name of Jesus this is prayed. Amen.

Until we can separate the science from the silly, I think the US needs to proceed with caution regarding Transgender Issues.

I also think the T should be left out of LGBTQ as it seems a separate issue.
