Do you see things in others that you like to mirror in your appearance? A neatly tied scarf? A braided hairstyle? A particular shade of lipstick?

I often get my inspiration for what I wear and how I look by noticing how others put themselves together and choosing what I like or what I don't like about that and going from there.

Most days I just slip on a dress, put on some lipstick<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/blogspot/grosgrain/~4/ZCKqs02fl4w" height="1" width="1"/>

Wedding: Mirrored Tabletops

I'm kinda diggin' these mirrored tabletops for a wedding. Although I'm not quite sure how you'd do this cheaply especially if you wanted to cover all your reception tables with them. I think it would be easier if you wanted to cover a long table instead of circular or square. I recommend contacting a nearby glass company for the best prices.

Make yourself a long scarf out of nylon chiffon or tulle (something you won't have to hem) and add a red glitter heart in the middle where you cheek will be. You wouldn't have to wear it so high up your face like in the photo. I think you could get the same effect if you left it just above your upper lip.

I've been loving Raj tents lately, especially the octagonal shaped ones. But they are SOOOO expensive. To give you an idea of how expensive I found a similar company who rents them starting at $2,000. I also found this ebay seller who will make and ship one for you for $1,300. I love these for weddings or any kind of outdoor social event. A couple weeks ago I invited my sister to go to the YMCA and walk around the track then relax in the sauna with me. She arrived at my house in her cute little workout clothes looking put together and fit while I scrambled around my bedroom looking for a ponytail holder and clean (at least stain-free for goodness sake) pair of sweat pants.
