As To The Trump Violence, We're Doing The "I Told You So"

Going back to the early days of the campaign, some media did report the violence at Trump events.

Since the cancelled Trump Rally in Chicago Friday night, the floodgates have been open, with many fulminating over the Trump violence, offering details of past Trump events and timelines to illuminate it.

Today, we have Josh Marshall at TPM offering "Someone Will Die", Karen Tumulty, and others, at WaPO asking "Trump has lit a fire. Can it be contained?", and you can go out to Memeorandum for more.

All well, and good, these writings.

It's just that the timelines and denunciations of Trump Violence doesn't go back far enough.

After pointing to Trump's Fascism on November 20th, from the GOP Debate, and Trump doubling down on his call to close all Mosques, and track all Muslims, it took all of 24-48-hours to see what his rhetoric wrought.

In our post It's Starting To Get Ugly Out There, on November 22nd, we linked to story of "Black protester attacked at Donald Trump rally called 'monkey' and other racial slurs, he says".

The Donald, actually, defended the beating of the protester!

A day later, we highlighted, straight out of Central Casting, and on-cue, "Armed protesters stalk peaceful Muslims at Texas mosque: We want to show force"

These were the early days of the campaign, when the Republican Establishment, and many in the Media, believed that Trump wasn't a serious candidate, that he would either self-implode, or drop out.

But he didn't do either, instead, gained strength, in part, hammering the GOP's Golden Saviour JEB!, to the point, JEB! was the one that self-imploded and dropped out.

And, the rhetoric, and violence continued at Trump events, escalating, to where we are now.

Trump is blaming Bernie Sanders, and his supporters, for the disruptions at his events this weekend, even, on stage, mocking Sanders, for when protester took over Sanders on-stage, taking the microphone away from him, to which we noted, back in November;

So, according to The Donald, Bernie Sanders is a wimp, for not kicking the shit out of the protesters at his event.

And, The Donald, with a comment like that, has given tacit approval for his supporters to beat up anyone who protests, or, criticizes The Donald.

We've see that come to fruition, the violence, and mocking of Sanders, which Trump will milk, at least, until Tuesday, when there's a new round of Primary Voting, and we see what impact the weekend's events has on the outcomes.

Before some actually gets murdered, time for The Donald, all the presidential candidates to adopt a policy of #AllWordsMatter.

Otherwise, the campaign trails melts down to a free-for-all, and the candidate with the better fighters and goons wins.

Well, considering there was no Primary Voting yesterday, no terror attack, no Missing White Woman, Cable News, and their cavalcade of Talking Heads got a bonanza of a bonus last night, via the chaotic Trump Rally in Chicago.

This will allow them to go wall-to-wall with it over the weekend.

Okay, a little audience participation here ...

Everybody raise their hands as to who didn't see this coming?

Since he entered the Presidential Campaign, Trump has promulgated fascist, racist, bigoted, xenophobic, homophobic principles, and, at his rallies, as uttered rhetoric of the same, including violence, at protesters, and, the media.

Numerous people, on Cable last night (Rachel Maddow, for one), as well as blogs (Here) have presented a timeline of Trumps hostile speeches.

Even President Obama weighed in on it last night, offering;

"How could you be shocked?" the President exclaimed during a fundraiser in Austin. "This was the guy who was sure I was born in Kenya."

"As long as it was being directed at me they were fine with it. It was a hoot," Obama continued. "And suddenly they're shocked."

Granted, a good portion of the protesting last night was organized, which gets us into the whole 1st Amendent thing, and, unfortunately, it allowed Trump to play the victim.

He was interviewed, via telephone and was in complete denial that he had anything to do with it, that he wasn't/isn't inciting violence, falling back on his stump speeches of the country's divided, people are angry, he'll make a better deal for everybody.

Yet, just hours before the Chicago Rally, in St. Louis, there was protesting, and violence.

How did the prospective GOP Party Leader react?

Trump said that there used to be "consequences" for protesting, and told his supporters that the protestors are bad for "our country," according to Politico.

“There used to be consequences. There are none anymore,” Trump said. “These people are so bad for our country. You have no idea folks, you have no idea.”

So, it's out there.

If you disagree with Donald Trump, you're bad for our country, so bad for our country.

I'll take the first place in line that I'm bad for our country.

Futher, I'l speculate that the Chicago Rally, and the chaos that ensued was planned by Trump and his staff.

Trump said of the St, Louis Rally, and violence that occured;

"These are not good people folks, just so you understand," he said, according to video of the rally. "These are not good people. And I heard this was going to happen, and they said, ‘Mr. Trump, would you like to cancel?’ I said, ‘absolutely not.’"

So, let's go up river to Chicago.

Trump, and his staff chose the University of Illinois at Chicago, which is in downtown Chicago.

As one may except, a university is going to be, overwhelmingly young people, under the age of 25-year-old, reasonably educated (heck, their in college), and ethnically, and racially, diverse.

Trumps average supporter is considerably older, 45-years old, or older, less educated, and, white - and with this frightening personality trait.

So, why on earth, did Trump and his people pick this location?

From interviews conducted last night, the protesters didn't just show up last night.

On campus, when word went out about the rally, protesters began organizing earlier in the week, which, one can speculate, was known by University officials, Chicago officials and, of course, the Trump campaign.

If Trump, and his people, didn't, outright, know of the organized protest, they, by chosing this location for a rally, hedged their bets that it would happen.

And, by having it happen, Trump dominates the news cycle, and gets to play the victim, gets to cite all these "bad people" who prevented him from speaking, casting himself as a "huge advocate of free speech."

James Fallows has a good-read piece up, After the ‘Nice’ Debate: Trump's Shape-Shifting Power, in which he posits that "Trump has a dramatic range no other candidate can begin to match" (making Ronald Reagan look like a cable-access piker) and "He may be the most ignorant person, about public policy, who has ever gotten this far in a presidential race."

He's not so ignorant about manipulating the conversation, and the media.

In short, we speculate Trump and his staff orchestrated this Chicago chaos, planting the seeds for it along the campaign trail, and now, are beginning to harvest their fascist crops.

We thought we pull up the Senator Roark quote again, since it is indicative, he was, most likely, a Republican.

When headlines folliowing your political party's Presidential Debate are "Donald Trump defends size of his penis' and "Trump Brags About His Penis Size: 'I Guarantee You There Is No Problem", it's time to fold up, close down the shop, and pull up the AARP "Hobbies You Can Do" page.

Lying "Big" isn't working, and "the whole damn world" isn't playing along.

The Clown Car went off the road last night, and was totaled, irrepairable, completely demolished.

And there was a warning of what was to come.

The Clown Car's Engine Light went on earlier in the day, when 47% Mitt Romney, the GOP's 2012 Presidential Election Loser, gave a speech from Mormonland, dissing and smearing Trump, in a political equivalent of a school yard taunt of "Your mother wears combat boots".

If so, it was a brilliant maneuver. Tonight we saw the attempted assassination of front-runner Donald Trump, beginning early and sustained for almost the entire night. Fox prepared elaborate multimedia presentations designed to make Trump explain away his erratic positions and policy proposals. They hammered him on Trump University and got him to flip-flop on immigration. All night, Fox’s moderators forced Trump to directly reckon with his contradictory positions and statements, complete with video packages illustrating those contradictions. No other candidate faced a similar onslaught.

If indeed Fox lured Trump into an ambush, it would be perhaps the canniest move the conservative establishment has made this entire election cycle, and the first documented example of anti-Trump coordination actually working (to whatever degree it will turn out tonight “worked”).

Even in this weird year, a contested nominating convention is still most likely to occur only in the wet dreams of campaign trail reporters. But this might have been, in miniature, a practice session for a wild and unlikely anti-Trump putsch in Cleveland this summer.

The "Fact-Checking" of Trump last night had to have Roger Ailes rupturing squeeze balls, since the long con of his network is propaganda, and his people presenting "facts" was like having them go ice skating in late March, ignoring the "Thin Ice" sign.

They should have run this clip before the debate last night;

The other headline to come out of last night's debacle was Little Marco Rubio effusively defending Michigan Governor Rick Snyder over his handling of poisoning the residents of Flint, despite news that Snyder knew as early as October 2014 about the issue.

The fact is they are all Phonys and Frauds, it's just that Trump isn't an offical member of PartyofNoicans, so, the GOP Establishment wants a dues-paying phony or fraud to get the nomination, not some Interloper, who is playing their con game bigger and better.

Unlike the PartyofNoicans, the Democratic Debate in Milwaukee last night, as all the Dem Debates have been, was loaded with substance, and, in truth, for whatever camp you have your foot in, you can say your side won the debate.

However, a few things did occur that offers the thesis of our post title.

Bernie Sanders got off, perhaps, the single best line of all the debates, when Hillary Clinton was dissing him, for his alleged dissing of Obama, with his derisive retort;

"One of us ran against Barack Obama; I was not that candidate"

Ooch!

So, this may be where we can start explaining how "Hillary Stumbles", with a few faux pas that may/should come back to haunt her.

Point #1

Hillary made a handful of charges against Sanders, a craven pandering to the upcoming Primary in South Carolina, that he didn't support President Obama, wrote a forward of a book that dissed Obama (he didn't, he wrote an innocuous testimonial), called him weak, and how could he call himself a Democrat with these kinds of statements.

Bernie, initially, defend himself, offering it was his right as a Senator to disagree with the President, and, as Hillary poured it on, Sanders, using time from his Closing Statement, offered the deadly, on-point, aforementioned best line of the debates.

What Hillary was doing with this charge was Dog Whistling to the African-Americans in South Carolina, proverbially saying "See, this guy doesn't like Black People".

Going this route, Hillary has shot off the Starter's Pistol for journalists and bloggers (one already has) to start digging through the 2008 Campaign, and digging up all the disingenuious, and racist mud, the Clinton Campaign threw at Obama.

Point #2

Hillary gave a big, wet kiss shout-out to the murderous, warmongering pond scum that goes by the name of Henry Kissinger.

Say what!?

She disses Sanders for alledgedly dissing Obama, and she embraces this guy?

And it's certainly not the first time, as she wrote a glowing review of one of his books.

For someone that claims to be a Liberal, Progressive Democrat, there is no reason, no circumstances, to utter even one kind word for, or about, this piece of smegma.

Point #3

Hillary waited until her Closing Statement (another Tweet we put up - ‪#‎DemDebate‬ ...HRC Closing named so many names & acronyms, she should be wearing Racing Car Jacket), to level the line that has the Clintonites in glee today, that they've found the Holy Grail, offering that Sanders is a "One-Note candidate".

Bernie Sanders, to-date, has been offering his own vision of what's wrong with the country, and his own solutions.

Hillary, to-date, has been riding Obama's coattails, to the point that she (or he) may need to get commercial license plates.

She has said through all the debates that she'll continue the policies that Obama has laid out, and, essentially chided Sanders for not wanting to do the same (especially on Healthcare).

Aside for not articulating her own vision, this is arrogance, the materrial more suited for if she wins the nomination, that would be used in the General Election.

In short, Sanders is offering fresh ideas, while Hillary is offering we'll keep the status quo, the "establishment way", which Sanders has been effectively charging Hillary with, that the "establishment way" isn't working, and is part of the Rigged Game that is in place.

The Old Man on the Mountain must be sporting a frown this morning, as he watched the cranky Yankee Libertarians of his state push The Donald to the top of the Republician rubbish pile in yesterdays' New Hampshire Primary.

And the Sunshine Cleaning truck must be parked in front of GOP Headquarters, to engage in the gruesome mess of cleaning up all those exploded heads.

The Fascist, Racist, Homophophic Loudmouth from Manhatten came out on top, nearly doubling his closest competitor, the somnolent former Governor of Ohio, who all but moved to New Hampshire, and swore he was the lost son of William Loeb.

John Kasich is likely as excited today, as Robot Rubio was the day after Iowa, but instead of a meltdown in the next debate, he'll likely continue his Tone-It-Down-School Prinicple role, so far, ignoring the mudslinging going on all around him.

And, there was Jeb!, getting enough Granite Staters to clap for him, to the tune of rising - barely - into double-digits, and an even slimmer margin ahead of the 5th place finisher, his former Golden Boy, Robot Rubio.

So, for those whose heads didn't explode at GOP HQ, the quandry remains on who are they going to hold their noses for, and get behind.

By next voting day, Wall-Builder Trump, and Field Marshall Cruz will, likely, have taken Kaisch - proverbially - in a dark alley and beat the crap out of him, while Jeb! jumps up-and-down, shouting "Pick Me", and Rubio wanders the wasteland of his own echo chamber.

Everyone else left - Christie, Carson and Fiorina - are irrelevant.

The Democrats, on the other hand, only have a two-horse race to worry about, and Hillary is feeling "The Bern" this morning, getting jocked last night by Sanders, and having all the Clinton Déjà Vu bubble up.

Things be a little cloudy in Hillaryworld, basically, and surprisingly, only getting, essential a tie in Iowa, and now getting her bell rung in New Hampshire.

The Clintonites say not to worry, she owns the rest of the country, and will run Sanders into the ground.

But Sanders won out in New Hampshire, in every group, except those 65, or older, his campaign against the Establshment resonating, and getting louder and bigger.

There's rumblings of a Clinton Campaign shake-up (which probably inlcudes dusting off, oiling, and firing up the Clinton Game Machine), and finding a way for Hillary to matter, as much as Bernie Sanders seems to be doing.

In the post-debate wrap on MSNBC, Lawrence O'Donnell talked about, in her Senate races, Hillary didn't attract new voters, that where she initially polled at, she stayed at.

And, we have three things happen in the past week or so, that could be rather ominous;

1. In National Polling, Sanders, after being down 30+ points, is virtually even

2. They tied in the Iowa Caucus

3. Bernie beats her by more that 20-points in New Hampshire

So, there be some 'splaining to do on the Clinton side.

But the Dems race isn't likely to create big sparks - unless the Clintons go dirty.

The PartyofNoicans will provide that, and remain the bloody, mangled car accident we all can't take stop from looking at it.

The Media, and Blogs, are having a gluttonous feast on National NFL Day, ripping the flesh, and licking the bones, of Mario "The Robot" Rubio, for his performance in last night's GOP Debate, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

He repeated, at least four times, virtually verbatim, the following;

“Let’s dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing,” ... “He knows exactly what he’s doing. He’s trying to change this country.”

Blaring headlines, like "Rubio goes into repeat mode", from 'Politico', and 'Buzzzfeeds' "Under Attack, Marco Rubio Malfunctions — And Repeats The Same Line Four Times" and more, are out there.

The corpulent governor of New Jersey is being heralded as some kind of conquering hero, for pouncing on this during the debate, at one point, waving his hand, almost jumping up-and down, like the brainiac school kid who knows the correct answer, shouting;

“There it is!” ...“There it is. The memorized 25-second speech. There it is, everybody.”

Please ....

Rubio's been robotic forever.

Here, at 'The Garlic', we called him out, back at the debate, in September, in our

"And Marco Rubio's family immigration story is beginning to resemble TBS on Christmas Day, and, if he happens to be the last clown in the car, and actually gets elected, he'll make Keyser Sozo look like a piker ..."

And, again, in November, in 'The Lies That Made Milwaukee Famous';

"Golden Boy Marco Rubio lumped his broken-record family history into virtually every question he was asked, and in one, put out a clarion call "for more welders" erroneously citing welders make more money then philosophers ..."

We're hearing the haughty-toned phrases of "He's a first-term Senator" and he can't speak unless it's prepared in advance, can't riff on his feet.

This is the political party that nominated - and elected - the drooling, Swiss-Cheese-mind of Ronald Reagan, and the dim-lit bulb of JEBS! brother.

Marco 'The Robot" Rubio is following the tradition.

He's their perfect candidate.

Another Clown Car gathering last night, in Las Vegas, and it was almost Life Imitating Art

Ozzie and Harriet would be blushing today, with all the virulent insults uttered by the PartyofNican Clown Car drivers.

JEB! borrowed a spine from somewhere, and a rubber mallet from the circus, that he kept clubbing (and, at times, looking like he was going to break out in tears), The Donald, who kept dismissing him in Dorthoy Parker fashion (The "I'm 42 and you're 3" retort hurts a bit, doesn't it JEB!)

Only thing missing between Life Story Boy Mario Rubio and the McCarthyesque Ted Cruz was a WWF Banner and Cage Match announcement prior to the debate.

Cruz, in responding to Life Story Boy had to resort to, potentially, classified informantion to keep from getting smashed with a folding chair and thrown out of the ring.

Carli Fiorini looked like she had been stung by 1000 hornets, snarling at the moderators more than any of the other clowns.

Traffic Jam Starter Christie played the High School Prinicple in this production, pointing out the Hobbesian Trap rancor of the other candidates, but injecting his own "my dick is bigger", which was the overarching theme of the entire night, of all the candidates (yes, I know, but it still applies).

Rand Paul, once again, the exasperated teacher, writing on the proverbial blackkboard, the correct CONSERVATIVE answer (labeled a "Loser" by CNN) for his inattentive class, but he's looking more and more, like a steward on the Titanic, looking for space for himself on one of those lifeboats.

I think Carson and Kaisch were there, just so two podiums wouldn't be empty, though, our Pryamid Expert did declare he could handle the Commander in Chief thing, having to do what has to be done, because of his neurosurgery experience.

Let us hope, if Dr, Ben happens to get elected, all the terrorists, suddenly, come down with brain tumors.

But the biggest news, and I mean, this is a blockbuster, 10-pt, bold headline stuff;

We found out who really is Keyser Söze!

From Think Progress, and before the debate;

“We’re fighting a very politically correct war,” he said in response to a question about avoiding civilian causalities. “And the other thing is with the terrorists, you have to take out their families. They, they care about their lives. Don’t kid yourself. But they say they don’t care about their lives. You have to take out their families.”

The Donald reiterated it again, at the debate last night, stopping short of saying he would go after their friends, and even people who owe them money.

In a previous post, we asked, rhetorically, how more debased things would get.

Last night, came the first answer, we we have every expectation that it will be topped in the very-soon-future.

First, this was a bad night for Trump. Even by Trump’s standards, which are cartoonishly low, he embarrassed himself. He has no answers, no ideas, and no discernible reason to run for president. He doubled down on his plan to kill the family members of suspected terrorists, ignoring the Geneva Convention in the name of “toughness.” His strategy to defeat ISIS amounts to “hiring good people” and building a “great wall.” For most of the night, he flailed like the petulant clown that he is, and gave no indication that he’s taking any of this seriously.

Trump is a national mistake, and every time he opens his mouth in public, he reminds the world how unserious he is and how foolish we are for allowing him to hijack our nomination process.

Oh boy ...

We had, already, labeled The Donald as a Fascist, last week.

He's already evidenced he's a bigot, a racist, xenophobic, jingoistic, a grand ignoramus of history, so where do we place his latest smegma, of banning all Muslims - even American citizens living/working abroad - from entering the country?

In a non-bizzaro political world (bizzaro this 2016 PartyofNoican campaign clearly is), his poll numbers would plummet, his money support would dry up, the media would bury, then shun him, and he would become a political pariah.

Except, despite his self-serving practice of bringing attention to himself with the most outrageous actions, The Donald is a living, breathing torch carrier for the PartyofNoicans.

You’ll remember that Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz have both endorsed explicit religious tests for Syrian refugees entering the country that would only permit Christians to resettle. This is only slightly less-obviously unconstitutional than a blanket ban on Muslims, and is arguably harder to implement. Marco Rubio is actually to Donald Trump’s right when it comes to monitoring Muslims — citizens and non-citizens alike — who are already in the United States. Rand Paul has already introduced a bill in the Senate that would suspend all immigration from Syria and 30 other (predominantly Muslim-majority) countries.

All of these proposals send the same message: Muslims are a problem, and keeping Muslims out or sic-ing Big Brother on them while they are here is the solution. Banning them all from entering — feasible or no — is nothing more than the simplest formulation of the entire Republican Party’s core belief.

Rachel Maddow, last night, and with special guest, Senator Bernie Sanders hit on the same message - that virtually all the PartyofNoican candidates running for President have all come out with fascist, xenophobic, prejudicial proppsals for dealing with Muslims and other immigrants, just not as over-the-top as Trump (go to the link and watch the video, Sanders really nails it, using Demagoguery to blame someone else, and avoid the real issues).

And we appear to be stuck with him, as Lauren Fox at TPM notes;

Trump supporters don't appear willing to give up on their guy no matter how much the party elders distance themselves from him or condemn him. Trump is like the boyfriend with the motor cycle. The harder you try to keep your daughter away, the more she wants to date him. That's why an establishment-backed ad assault aimed at discrediting Trump among his fact-resistant following is unlikely to resonate.

Hard to imagine, with about two-months before the first primary, how much more debased Trump, or any of the other candidates, can go, other than to say, we may have to do another follow-up post of "It's Gotten Ugly Out There".

Another sad, tragic event, in our lawless gun control country.

Coming on the heels of the Paris Shootings, and its' terrorist roots, Cable News wasn't going to be left out on this side of the Atlantic.

At around 11PM last night, this is what I Tweeted;

‪#‎SanBernadino‬ ... w/still little info, media talking heads straining at bit/peeing pants, to label this terrorism

For the preceeding number of hours, on CNN and MSNBC, with their parade of ex-military, ex-Intelligence, ex-police on hand, citing what it took to plan this attack, the attire of the shooters, all were dancing on the head of the pin to outright claim this was a case of terrorism.

Even, with two press conferences, with the local police, and FBI, saying it was too early to say what it was, and while not ruling out Terrorism, that they will follow where the evidence leads them, this didn't stop the Talking Heads from couching all their "analysis" wrapped in terrorism.

Bob Baer, the infamous "Terror Expert", on CNN, kept referring to his "bias" in wanting to push the Terrorism button.

The location of this shooting, a health center, a Christmas party, that was the only wrench thrown into Baer's bias, and barely slowed down the other Talking Heads

And, we had a new phrase introduced, the constant, apparently coming from victims, use of the phrase "long guns".

Anchors and their talking heads kept, ominiously, saying how the shooters had "long guns" as if the killing of 14, and wounding of 17 wasn't enough, teasing the veiled talk of this being "terrorism" with the constant repeating of "long guns".

The only think missing was spooky organ music.

Put "Long Guns" on the shelf, with "Lock Down", and "Shelter In Place" as part of the new vernacular of our Post 9-11, Patriot Act-blanketed, Drone-Filled-Skies world.

All the talking heads sounded, almost, disappointed, when, late in the night, the identity of the shooters was revealed, that it was an employee of the agency, and his wife, and this was starting to take shape of, perhaps, a mentally unbalanced employee committing workplace violence, over some still unknown reason.

Lacking in this jingoistic cacophany, for all the hours they were burning, was any discussion about better gun control.

Even after, late in the night, it was reported that, at least, one of the guns used in this horrible shooting was purchased legally, that didn't stop one of the Talking Heads to poo-paah better gun control, saying it wouldn't prevent an event like this.

And, hitting their marks, on cue, were the Presidential Candidates, the PartyofNoicans all calling for prayers, and the Democrats all calling for better gun control.

The 'New York Daily News' had a good smack-down of the PartyofNocians, screaming from their front page " 'GOD ISN'T FIXING THIS'".

With God taking a pass, you can bet the line that our Congress will also.

During the night, a bevy of statistics were out everywhere, one citing that there has been more Mass Shootings (the criteria being 4 or more people shot) this year than the number of days in the year.

Sandy Hook, Columbine, South Carolina, Plan Parenthood were all mentioned.

Yet, as time passes, and these type of Mass Shooting continue to occur, Nicholas Kristoff notes in his column today "On Guns, We’re Not Even Trying"

That leaves us all vulnerable to be part of the next wall-to-wall Cable News coverage of the next Mass Shooting.

And, today, straight out of Central Casting, and on-cue;

Armed protesters stalk peaceful Muslims at Texas mosque: We want to show force

"A group of armed protesters who wanted to “show force” gathered outside a Texas mosque Saturday in response rumors about Syrian refugees and Sharia law.

The group, calling itself the Bureau of American Islamic Relations, stationed itself outside the Islamic Center of Irving carrying signs with messages like, “Stop the Islamization of America,” according to the Dallas Morning News. A video taken at the mosque shows a man dressed in black with his face masked carrying a rifle ..."

As Think Progress points out;

"The town of Irving was thrust into the spotlight earlier this year when police arrested a fourteen-year-old Muslim student who brought a homemade clock to school, accusing him of constructing a bomb."

And this comes on the heels of another disturbing incident, yesterday, at a rally for The Donald in Alabama.

The Republican frontrunner compared what happened at his rally to a Black Lives Matter protest at a Bernie Sanders event, which prompted the Democratic candidate to release a detailed racial justice plan. “This is not the way Bernie Sanders handled his problem, I will tell you, but I have a lot of fans and they were not happy about it. And this was a very obnoxious guy, a troublemaker, looking to make trouble,” Trump said.

So, according to The Donald, Bernie Sanders is a wimp, for not kicking the shit out of the protesters at his event.

And, The Donald, with a comment like that, has given tacit approval for his supporters to beat up anyone who protests, or, criticizes The Donald.

This kind of thuggery should disqualify him from being allowed to run for office.

And, this isn't an isolated incident with The Donald;

"Trump supporters have gotten physical with protesters at several other events this fall. A protester was dragged out of a Trump rally in Miami. A Trump supporter ripped up a protester's sign. A Trump bodyguard was filmed sucker-punching a protester outside Trump Tower in early September. And at a rally in DC, photographers captured a Trump supporter pulling a protester's hair."

I can't say, in the history of politics in this country, that violence wasn't committed, however, it is atrocious, and beyond the pale to have a candidate for president condoning violence by his supporters.

Before some actually gets murdered, time for The Donald, all the presidential candidates to adopt a policy of #AllWordsMatter.

Otherwise, the campaign trails melts down to a free-for-all, and the candidate with the better fighters and goons wins.

Trump and Rubio ... Fascism Redux

Even before the Paris attacks, the Clown Car Candidates had already unleashed a torrent of racist, homphobic, and xenophobic remarks.

Since then, it's become a tsuanmi shitstorm, with PartyofNoican Governors having joined in, by the tenfold, on refusing to accept refugees, with Dr. Pyramids referring to the refugees as "mad dogs", all the while, two of the leading Clown Car drivers are advocating a new Fascist States of America.

Let's start with The Donald.

He's pushing to close all Mosques, have a database of Muslims in this country, and to track said Muslims.

When asked how that differed from Hitler's Germany registering the Jews, his response was a arrogant "You tell me."

And this was The Donald doubling down on it!

Senator Marco Rubio wasn't going to be locked out of the Fascist Funhouse.

Along with the insanity of Chancellor Trump, and Field Marshall Rubio talking like this, proposing things like this, it's a matter of time before we start hearing about attacks and violence against otherwise law-abiding, peaceful Muslims living here now.

This type of talk is dog-whistling, red-meat-biscuits to the extremist of the Rightwing Freakshow and is utterly irresponsible.

Except, when they let their guard down, and, inadvertently, speak a revealing truth, which has them and their staffs throwing up a tsunami of well-rehearsed blah-blah-blah, trying to walk the revealing truth back,

Toto, in spirit, at least, pulled the curtain back on Hillary Rodman Clinton in last night's Democrat's Debate.

Sen. Bernie Sanders was, rightly, dissing Clinton for being the Big Wall Street Money candidate.

Clinton pushed back, promising she has an "aggressive plan to reign in Wall Street," which, by the way, multiple times, talked about not needing the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall to get this done, name dropping Paul Krugman and Paul Volker, and treating Glass-Steagall like it was a leper, on no use of value, or noting that it's repeal helped cause the financial disaster we saw.

Bernie wasn't having any of it, and scoffed "Not good enough," adding;

"I have never heard a candidate — never — who has received huge amounts of money from oil, from coal, from Wall Street, from military-industrial complex, not one candidate says, ‘Oh these campaign contributions will not influence me. I’m going to be independent,'" Sanders said. "Well, why do they make millions of dollars of campaign contributions? They expect to get something. Everybody knows that."

This was Toto's cue to start tugging, and pulling back the curtain.

Clinton, with a bit of huff;

"He has basically used his answer to impugn my integrity, let’s be frank here," she said of Sanders before citing her work in New York after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

"I represented New York, and I represented New York on 9/11 when we were attacked. Where were we attacked? We were attacked in downtime Manhattan where Wall Street is. I did spend a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild," she said.

Whoa!

Did she just say that?!

Holy Cow!

I didn't look, but I will speculate, before the debate ended, someone photoshopped Hillary, standing on the ashes and debris of the WTC, receiving a campaign contribution.

In fact, CBS's partner in the debate last night, Twitter, did, proverbially, offer that picture.

Someone named Andy Grewal tweeted;

I'm not sure Hillary offered as much passion in her other answers, as the amount she offered defending her taking in Wall Street millions.

Later in the debate, the candidates were asked to cite a personal crises they dealt with that would show they have the muscle to be president.

None of the three candidates offered a good story, but it was Clinton who doubled-down on Sept. 11th again;

At the end of the debate, CBS News moderator John Dickerson gave Clinton one more opportunity to make her point. He asked each of the candidates to name a crisis they had experienced in their life that prepared them for the presidency. “Well, there are so many, I don’t know where to start,” Clinton responded, before retelling the story of her advising President Obama in the decision to launch a mission to kill Osama bin Laden.

Really?

Considering there is some contention on how the Obama Administration found Osama bin Laden, and the controversy over it, and with 20+-years of Clinton Scandals, Right Wing and Media harrassment, she goes to the Sept. 11th well again?

There should be milk cartons out there today, with a picture of the debate on a side, blaring out the headline "Missing: Facts"

The moderators of the PartyofNoicans Clown Car Crash in Milwaukee last night, all but took a flight down to Chicago whenever one of the clowns misspoke, and/or blatantly lied, about the facts of whatever softball question was thrown their way.

Pyramid Mogul Ben Carson managed to squeeze in Benghazi while defending the fabrications of his back story.

Ted Cruz forgot to show his Contractor's Union Card, as his big pitch was for tearing down almost the entire government, as a means to balance the budget.

Golden Boy Marco Rubio lumped his broken-record family history into virtually every question he was asked, and in one, put out a clarion call "for more welders" erroneously citing welders make more money then philosophers.

But Rubio's family picnic had a hornet's nest hanging over it, in Rand Paul (someone in his campaign should do the favor and tell him it's over), as Paul attacked Rubio's "Conservative Credentials" (not screwing poor people enough) over his tax plan, offering tax cuts for families, while increasing military spending.

More than one clown candidate belched out that too many regulations were the cause of the financial mess, when, in fact, it was "Foreclosure Phil", Republican Phil Gramm that led the charge on repealing the Glass-Steagall Act, which nearly bankrupted the entire world.

Fiorina parroted "We have to take back our country" so many times, I thought the old "HeadOn ... Apply directly to the forehead ... HeadOn ... Apply directly to the forehead ... HeadOn ... Apply directly to the forehead", had bled into the audio of the broadcast.

If Industry Titan Fiorina happens to secure the nomination, she wants to put the military on steroids and go around the world kicking ass, and taking names.

And, Poor Jeb! ...

Team Exclamation Point! just watches him flop and flail at these debates, the brother-president-in-absentia, reduced last night to getting interrupted on a question asked to him, whining about having time to talk, having to fight off the interruption, and later, thanking The Donald for letting him speak - only forgetting to coat it with any sarcasim, and coming off more like offering Don Corleone a tribute.

The chef, there, Jeb!, is calling out "Stick a fork in him, he's done!" ...I'm sure some of your big-ass donors can help you bang out your withdrawal speech ...

Interrupting Jeb! was Man-on-Fire John Kasich, who was attempting to filibuster the debate, proudly boasting he was the man, that he balanced two budgets!

Remarkably, none of his fellow clowns challenged Budget Man, that the first time he did it, he was working for a Democratic President, and husband of all the clowns' arch-villain, Hillary.

Budget Man also attacked The Donald, scoffing at his plans to deport 11-million Illegal Immigrants - Jeb! also jumped on that - but neither clown offering an alternative, or, comprehensive Immigration plan.

But The Donald was, relatively, reserved, only getting worked up over the latest trade agreement, and citing it to use China (likely his Straw Man for the foreseeable future) as a punching bag ...

This debate was a Double-Ruppert Murdoch event, hosted by Fox Business Network and the 'Wall Street Journal', so no big surprise it was a fact-free affair.

So as not to have to sit in the corner wearing dunce caps, like CNBC, the trio of Maria Bartiromo, and Neil Cavuto, from the Fox Business Network, and Gerard Baker, Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief, sat smiling, like lobotomized idiots as clown candidate after clown candidate played fast and loose with facts, with fear of a follow-up question to challenge such statements might give them the Ebola virus.

Primary season will soon be upon us, winnowing out the field of these Clown Car Debates, but don't think this will make them more honest.

The untrue non-facts, and lies, will only get bigger, and more bold.

If we were playing 'Jeopardy' today, the correct response to the title of this post, would be the question "How can you tell when Carli Fiorina is lying?"

Ms. Fiorina was challenged by Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace to acknowledge “what every fact checker has found”: that the scene was only described by someone who claimed to have witnessed it but was not shown in the video.

Last night, the PartyofNoicans parked their clown car in the Ronald Reagan Drool Cup Shrine, and more than a few of the candidates channeled the former Union-busting President, rather awkwardly.

But the #GOPDebate, despite the calls to do so, didn't wipe the grease paint of Numero Uno clown, Donald Chump.

He's still standing, and holding down the three-rings, waiting to crack his whip at the next pail of confetti thrown at him.

Rather than wade into the nauseating details, we'll just offer some observational riffs.

Somebody in the Jeb! Bush! crew needs to sit the boy down and advise him to get as far away from his War Criminal brother as possible, rather then continuing to embrace and defend him.

In the back-and-forth over the Middle East, going into Iraq, Jeb! strenuously and vehemently shot back at The Donald, who was dissing his War Criminal brother that "He kept us safe ..."

Really?

Anyone can go to the Internets and find the War Criminal Brother ignoring the PDB about possible attacks, and on the day of attack, he was giving the most famous reading of "My Pet Goat".

But Jeb! wasn't the only one trying to milk Sept. 11th, Portly Chris Christie continued his exploitation of it, in a fighting-stance reply that he was a "tough Federal Prosecutor".

And Dr. Ben didn't do himself any favors by (rightly) defending the practice of Vaccines, and that they don't cause Autism, since the red-meat-eating, teabagging wing of the PartyofNoicans (who Dr. Ben ordinarily plays to) have that misfact carved in stone.

Ted Cruz should be disqualified from both the debates, and public office in general, just for the fact that he too-eerily resembles former pig-headed Senator Joe McCarthy, in looks and in policies.

Aside from Donald Chump, I suspect, as the day wears on, the ink barrels will be drained, declaring Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio as gaining points last evening.

Carly, to be fair, likely got off the best single line of the night, taking a swipe at The Donald's riff about her falling off the Ugly Tree and hitting every branch, but, she's pissing up a rope if she's going to try to counter her business experience is better than his.

During her tenure, HP stood for "Help, Please", and the only one who got rich during that time was herself - for getting fired.

And Marco Rubio's family immigration story is beginning to resemble TBS on Christmas Day, and, if he happens to be the last clown in the car, and actually gets elected, he'll make Keyser Sozo look like a piker.

If any of us, in whatever jobs we held, whatever beliefs we had, took the similar action (being, refusing to do our job, the job we accepted) we would surely be reprimanded, or disciplined, perhaps suspended or, even terminated.

She has a particular job that carrys with it certain tasks, duties and policies.

She chose - refused - to perform those tasks and duties, and the consequences she faces now are of her own doing, no one else.

What happened to the monolithic Conservative principle of "Personal Responsiblity"?

The Rowan County Board, or Supervisors, whoever oversees the employees of Rown County have some explaining to do ...

What happens if others in civic and/or government jobs took the same action as God's Rebel?

Does a fireman's "Religious Beliefs" allow him/her to stand there and watch a gay couple's (or pick the target of your "Religious Beliefs") house to burn down?

Does a policeman's "Religious Beliefs" allow him to stand by and watch a group of thugs beat up a gay couple?
