During the month of October the Sale of Cement increase 9 percent in month of October. 50 lakes ton cement sold in month of October and 28 percent cement exports increased during the month of October.

One laks 88 Thousands cement exported from Pakistan in month of October. 4 percent consumption increased in last four months.One Crore sixty one laks ton cement sold by cement companies in last four months. Two cement consumption increased domestically from July to October 2019. Domestic consumption Remained one Crore 33 laks and exports are 28 laks ton in last four months with 16 increase. Pakistan cement has a great potential just some help required from Government. In last few months many cement companies increase their producing capacity of cement with installing of new plants. Kohat cement and maple leaf cement started their new plants and pioneer cement is ready almost ready. Plant will start clinker production in next year in January. What is Internet?

The internet is a collection of millions of computers around the world which are connected to each another. It is a world network of computers. These computers are connected through phone lines, fiber optics lines, and satellites and wireless connections. We can search any kind of information from internet which is stored on hard drives of computers. Every one can store data on internet for that need hosting services which give space on his hard drive of computer which is connected with internet. These hosted computers use a common protocol called TCP/ IP for exchanging the data. TCP/IP stands for transmission control Protocol/ Internet Protocol. No organization or government is the owner of internet. Everyone have access to internet.

History of Internet

Internet was started in 1960s during the cold war of Russia and America. American wanted to communicate with its armed forces. A network of four computers was created in the starting for this purpose. Russian lunched Sputnik Satellite and America developed a network as ARPANET during the cold war. Advanced Research Project Agency created it. ARPA worked on a project to send information to armed forces at long distances. Different organizations universities also involved in this research. In 1964 Paul Baran Published a paper a distributed communication networks. It was theoretical idea for data transfer. His idea was decentralization data storage, digital packets and routers for data transfer. ARPA converted into Defense Advanced research Projects Agency. Now 37 computers were connected together. Darpa started work to share data not only on single network but also among different networks. Stanford Research Institute took part in this research. A team of Stanford Research developed a protocol called IP. It means for internet Protocol. It was designed to share and transfer data among different networks.

After that idea of internet came out. Many universities and research institutes started work on a global network. In 1986 NSF new was developed. It connected academic researched different countries together. Today internet is largest network in the global world. Millions of computers are connected with each other through different medium. People can share information data. Any computer with a modem and telephone line can become a part of the internet.

How connected with Internet.

Following things are required in creating a connection with internet.

Computer: any computer can be used for connection to internet.

Modem: modem is an electronic device that is used to transfer data over internet. It links the computer with the internet using telephone line.

Dial up Software: Dial up software is used to establish a connection between a personal computer and a server of an ISP.

ISP Connection: ISP means Internet Service Provide. It provides the link between the computer and the internet. A person has to get an account of an ISP for establishing a connection to internet.

Web Browsers: finally an internet browser is required. Browser is software is used to view web pages. Microsoft internet Explorer and Mozile Firefox are most popular browser.

Internet Addresses

Internet addresses are use d to access different computers on the internet. Each computer on the internet has a unique address. This address is used to establish a connection with that computer. There are two types of addressing schemes on the Internet

IP Addressing

IP address is a unique number that refers to a computer which is connected to the internet. IP stands for Internet Protocol. This address is a 32-bit number. It consists of four numbers separated by period. Each number is between 255. These numbers are known as octets. An example of IP address is 127.80.144.30. a sever on the internet has a static IP Address by the ISP. This IP address is used only during the session ad is not static.

DNS Addressing

IP address is difficult to remember for user. All servers on the internet also have human readable names. It is known as domain. A domain name consists of text instead of number. It is easier to remember a domain name than IP address. For example WWW.mishalposts.comis a permanent and human-readable name. it is easier to remember than IP Address. It actually has two parts:

Host name and domain

Domain represents the signal person or company that use the address. The domain names are called top level domains. Each domain name has a top level domain that indicates the types of organization associated with domain name. Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is a group that assigns and controls the top level domains. Method used to store domain names and corresponding IP addresses is called Domain Name System. When the users specify a Domain name DNS server converts it into its corresponding IP address. DNS server is associated with internet access Provider.
