Billing Officer (Logistics)

Responsibilities:

Prepare costing documents
Verify freight invoices for billing purpose
Liaise with Finance department for enquiries
Monitor and update the costing figures
Handle foreign exchange rates and check the invoices
Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirement:

GCE 'N' / 'O' level holder
Min 1 year experience in handling billing / invoicing
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
PC Proficient
Singaporeans / SPR only

Working location: East
Working days: 5, Monday - Friday only

Credit Analyst

Primary Job Functions:

Analyze customer financial condition and authorize customer credit lines
Minimize bad debt risk, maximize accounts receivable collections
Assist with order management
Reconcile customer statements/billings,
Communicate credit department and company payment policies
Participate in process improvement projects, and support other management directives as prescribed.

Essential Functions

Assess credit risk and establish credit limits.
Analyze customer financial statements.
Provide financial order management support to control credit exposure, effect timely payment, and minimize risk of customer disputes.
Conduct collection calls.
Negotiate customer disputes to resolution.
Provide customer service and develop relationships with internal/external customers.
Maintain accurate credit files and collection files.
Train, counsel, and communicate credit department policies and procedures to company personnel.
Participate in department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.

Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree required in Accounting/Finance preferred.
Apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements.
SAP GL and sales / distribution module.
Effectively secure prompt payment from customers while employing commercial sensitivity, business acumen, and good judgment.
Effective business writing and professional communication skills.
4-5 years experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Internet, and related computer skills.
Letter of credit and other export credit security and knowledge (when applicable).
Demonstrated Effective Customer Service Skills.
Mandarin language skills would be helpful.

Responsibilities

    * Responsible for funds management, cash flow, tax management, budget and financial control/ reporting locally and regionally.
    * Participate in business planning of the company.The incumbent will be responsible for analysing the strategic plans and proposals, analysis of business plans and evaluation of new business opportunites.
    * Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining data gathering and analysis systems related to cash management & business planning.
    * Responsible to perform all types of financial and economical analysis and forecasts, supervise economical and financial data gathering, processing and analysis.
    * Establish related initiatives including optimal capital structure, internal control system, and financial procedures and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

    * Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Business. CPA accreditation is highly preferred
    * At least 8 years of relevant experience
    * Experience in Commericial Finance, Managment, accounting and audit experience in MNC environment
    * Experience in cash flow and performing business planning activities.

ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

RESPONSIBILITIES

   1. Account expenses for respective vessels including liaising with Mumbai and Chennai accounts for obtaining details on vessel related expenses.
   2. Prepare monthly Statement of Accounts (SOA) for respective vessels and upon approval send to the owners as per schedule.
   3. Prepare Pre-delivery/Dry-dock Statement of Accounts (SOA).
   4. Prepare monthly fund requests, pre-delivery fund requests, dry-dock fund requests and fund requests for non-budgeted expenses as per agreed terms.
   5. To account and process invoices received from suppliers, agents relating to vessels as per payment terms including getting approval from Fleet Managers.
   6. Attend to queries related the vessel expenses.
   7. Check allotments and airfare invoices with portage bill and Shipmate Database respectively.

REQUIREMENTS

   1. Minimum ‘A’ level with Accounting experience
   2. Poly grads in Accounting or NITEC in Accounting / LCCI
   3. Computer savvy and conversant with MS Office applications
   4. Experience in preparing SOA is an advantage
   5. Able to start work immediately
   6. Singaporean and Singapore PR
