My kids are huge milk drinkers. They love it plain, chocolate , strawberry, vanilla or whatever lol. We drink all kinds of milks as well like cows, coconut, almond and soy. My kids enjoy it all. My biggest weakest is snacks. I love food and snacks. I can't finish big meals but I can snack all day lol. So I have been trying to find better snacks. My oldest loves mystery books. She can read them all day every day. So when I got the chance to review Hiding Carly I knew my daughter would want to read it.

My daughter immediately started to read it when we got it. She literally couldn't put the book down. She had it done in a little over 2 days. She loved it. She said it was suspenseful and interesting the whole book through. She recommended it to a few of her friends and now they want to read it too. Definitely a fun junior mystery book. It's not too scary or gory just suspense and keeps you wondering. This is a must read for teens! So get your copy today!

Not so, now that I have kids. Vacations are so much more meaningful than they ever were before but they also require an incredible amount of preparation. Here are some great tips and tricks to ensure a fun and hassle-free vacation:

Prepare for life's little messes

Children are messy! Come prepared for motion sickness, potty accidents, colds, boo-boos and sticky fingers. Keep extra first aid supplies, wipes, zipper bags, and tissues accessible for quick clean-ups. For easy access, you may want to invest in a trendy backpack or travel sack. If you are traveling with younger children, you may encounter a mess that is beyond wipes. An extra set of clothes in an easy-to-reach or carry-on bag may prove to be a lifesaver.

Don't skimp on the entertainment

Long trips plus bored kids equals DRAMA! You don't want to haul a dozen different electronics on a plane, but let's face it, packing a few will undoubtedly make for a smoother ride. iPads can be loaded with educational games and material that can be used with headphones. Download fun games to a tablet to help pass the time. Handheld games take up very little room. Of course, don't forget to bring a few non-electronic essentials such as crayons, coloring books, playing cards and travel games. It is easy to get caught up in the planning process and forget that vacations are supposed to be fun. Between all of the required reservations and number crunching in your head, it can become overwhelming. A solution many of us choose is to book the cheapest flight and least expensive hotel possible in order to spend that money elsewhere. Instead of downgrading your transportation and accommodations, try using the Internet to find the best deals without sacrificing comfort. Flying earlier in the day will make your waiting time much shorter and is often cheaper. Also try using hotel review sites or social networking to find your family’s perfect hotel. When my family traveled to Hawaii, we utilized our friends online to vet all of Honolulu’s top hotels and ultimately found the one best suited for our vacation plans. If you are traveling for a weekend trip, look into booking a hotel in the business district. Many of these hotels rely on their Monday through Friday traffic and have decreased rates during the weekend.

Pack ahead

Don't wait until the last minute to pack! Begin making a list as far in advance as possible. I use my smartphone for my initial list – that way I never forget to add something or worse, misplace my list! Start packing a week before the trip and finish no later than the day before you leave. The calmer you are on departure day, the calmer the kids will be.

Ride Along Dolly Seat review

My girls, all 5 of them, have the American Girl like dolls and the little girls especially love taking them everywhere with them. Now that it is Spring and the weather is getting nice we are spending alot of time outside playing and riding bikes. The girls try and give their dolls rides as well lol. So when I got the chance to try out Ride Along Dolly bike seats I knew my girls would love them.

When we got the bike seat the girls were already fighting over who's bike it would go on ugh lol. I told them we would try it out and if we like it we would get the other 2 one. So we attached it to the bike with one bolt and it was sturdy and ready to go. My girls couldn't wait to take turns riding their dolls around the neighborhood. We love that it has a seat belt to keep the dolls safe. They love how pink and pretty the seat is. Its definitely a girl seat lol. I love that it is light and not too big. I also love how sturdy it is. It fits on my youngest 12" bike and on my other girls 16" bikes easily.

This is a favorite with my girls and yep now I am going to have to buy some for the other girls. I already bought one for my 6 year old for her birthday now just have to buy one more for my 8 year old. They just love giving their dolls and stuff animals rides all over and it is absolutely adorable watching them. This is definitely a fun bike accessory for this Spring and Summer. Blue Monkey Coconut Collection review

With the health craze at all time high Coconut water, milk, etc are all the rage. I love using coconut water or milk in my smoothies especially my green smoothies. I also use it in cookies and cake recipes. It is awesome. I started using coconut products about 3 years ago when my youngest had a bad dairy allergy and coconut was a perfect supplement for her needs without the dairy! So when Blue Monkey asked me if Id like to review some of their coconut products I said heck ya I do lol!

When I got the package from them it contain two bags of coconut chips and two packages of instant coconut water powders. I was instantly intrigued. I mean my kids love the drink pouches and this looked just like them, plus it made for easy storage as well. I love that! So the next day I got out a nice cold water bottle and added the instant coconut water powder to it. I shook it for like 30 seconds or so and the powder dissolved instantly. That was nice because some powder drinks don't dissolve and it is gross but not this. I then tasted and smelled it. I could smell the hint of coconut and taste it as well. It wasn't sweet just water with the coconut after taste that I really loved. I decided to use a few ounces of it in my green smoothie and it was perfect. It is now my favorite thing to add to my smoothie and my kids love it as well. I will use this again that is for sure. Its easy and delicious!

Blue Monkey coconut chips were amazing. They were crunchy and sweet. I could literally sit and eat the whole bag. My whole family adored them. I used it in some banana bread and on top of a yogurt parfait. It was absolutely dreamy and yummy! I have always been a huge fan of toasted coconut and this was far better than any I have tried before! This is a definite must try!

It is so easy that even my husband and 14 year old can make dinner when I am so busy or at school. The baked pasta kit and pizza kits are my family's favorite along with the chili. Hide 'Em and Hatch 'Em Eggs- Perfect activities for spring

Spring is here and school is almost out so we are all looking for fun things to do with our kids. I love doing nature stuff. We went on a nature scavenger hunt grabbing things like flowers, leaves and etc from nature then went to Art museum then when we got home we took our nature stuff and made a art project. We had so much fun! It was free and easy and fun!

Another fun thing is we visit local farms and petting zoos and duck ponds and feed the animals and learn about them. We write about them or make a picture about them. My kids had so much fun putting their egg in water and waiting a couple days to see which animal they were gonna get. Being a mom to 6 kids, a full time college student, a homemaker, a wife and all the jobs that go with those I really have to manage my time. So when it comes to dinner I like things that are of course yummy, healthy but I need fast. One of the things I always have in my cabinet is Minute Rice. Why you ask? Well because it has everything I wanted in a meal. It is fast, easy, yummy, and healthy! To to that off you can make so many different things with it.

Ok I know your thinking rice is rice but honestly its not! I have tried other brands and been very disappointed. I got mushy rice, hard crunchy rice, and some mixture that was so not edible. So I stick with Minute rice. I buy the boxes that are done in 10 minutes or less for family dinners and for quick lunches for me I buy the Ready to serve minute rice cups that are done in 60 seconds in the microwave. My husband like the white rice ready to go cups for a night snack. He cooks it then puts it in a bowl with milk, sugar and cinnamon and downs it. He loves it! Minute Rice always comes out perfectly cooked and comes in so many different flavors and rice types. Honestly if you haven't tried it you should. You can make desserts with it, breakfast, lunch and dinners. I love making stirfry or fried rice and rice bowls. They are some of my favorite recipes. Orange Chicken and Rice
Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:
1 jar (12 ounces) orange marmalade
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
2 cups cooked chicken, grilled or roasted (Alternative: try 2 cups of cooked turkey)
1 large orange, washed and thinly sliced
1 cup frozen sugar snap peas, thawed
2 cups cooked, Minute® White Rice or Minute® Whole Grain Brown Rice

Directions:
1. In a small sauce pan add in: marmalade, orange juice and water. Simmer until blended and reduced about 50 percent. It should be like syrup.

2. Add chicken, orange slices and peas until all are hot.

3. Serve over rice. If desired, sprinkle with slivered almonds.

The weather is changing and I am noticing how much I let myself go all winter long and now I need to shape up. It is so hard for me to want to run and just exercise. So when I can find some fun exercise programs it makes exercising so much easier. That way I wanted to try Doonya: The Bollywood Dance Workout series. My skin looks so much better from using these two wonderful products and best part even with my sensitive skin they dont break me out or make me itch and that is awesome!
