We Have Some 'splaining to Do!

Mom says we have some 'splaining to do. Here is why!

We sent mom a birthday present, all by ourselves! We signed the card, wrapped the present, and sent it for delivery from the lady in the blue shorts! We did all this with our allowance we had saved!

Were you surprised, mom? Were ya? Were ya?

We knew mom had been admiring these BeadedTail earrings, but Armani, our BeadedTail Inventory Manager, had recently put mom on restriction so she could not buy any more for a while.

Mom: Ok, you guys, fess up. Someone had to have a paw in this!

We will never tell.

In the meantime, Armani will add this new pair of BeadedTail earrings to his important work of Inventory Management.

We wish our mom a Happy Birthday, this Friday the 14th!

I am very busy again this morning. It is all in the teck-neek! Mom heard me coming again so she tried to document for you this important task I do every day with my red mousies!

Here I am coming from the bedroom, ready for action, **meowling** all the way!

When mom is in the kitchen, it is important to bring the mousies there. Here I am getting closer!

Sometimes I get anxious if mom does not recognize my good work right away.

If you are friends with us on Facebook, you will know that we sort of have a pet bunny who lives in our yard, named Mister.

We decided we wanted to know what all the fuss was about with carrots, so mom got us a carrot too!

Earrings??

Mom does not know what to think. When Armani was doing his Beaded Tail earring inventory for mom today, mom caught him wearing....an earring!

This morning I woke mom up and we were going to have a photo shoot for my birthday on my new pink tissue with hearts on it. I am 13 today, on the 13th in 2013! I was all ready and looking my most beautiful ever when.....

THIS HAPPENED!

That Armani is always trying to steal my thunder!

I finally got my siblings out of the way and mom took a 13th birthday portrait of me. I think I look fabulous! Not one whisker out of place!

That is how my birthday photo shoot went this morning. She's behind me, isn't she.....**sigh**.

I am 13 today, on the 13th in 2013!

I am not superstitious, but I think that means lots of good luck this year!

Yes, we pulled it off again! Mom thinks we are very resourceful cats that we can write a card, and lick a stamp and take it to the post office all by ourselves, but we did!

Happy Mother's Day, mom!

We hope you like the card we picked out!

Here is what it says inside. We signed our names too! We put it right by our morning snackies so you can feed us now!

We were all very excited about our card, but we were even more excited about morning snackies. This is us this morning and every morning while we wait for our breakfast!

(Mom says don't think less of her that we behave like this and all get on the kitchen counter, ok? She rarely cooks so she says it is alright.)

Gaia: They are animals! No manners, I say. I will wait patiently on the floor for my breakfast to be served!

Chester: Mom we are ready to eat now. What? NO, that is not a pimple on my chin from my poor eating habits. It is a beauty mark!

Cheater: MOM! Feed us! I am HUNGRY, and I need some of this delectable tasty freeze dried chick-hen!

And there you have it. A Happy Mother's Day at our house this morning for our mom.

We wish all the moms out there as much Happy as we have, every day with our mom!

Mom said I am on her "List" this morning because lately I have been waking her up from 2:00am till she gets up every morning for work. I don't see anything wrong with this, but she does.

We got another surprise sent to us from the man in the blue shorts. It came from our Uncle Bob, Auntie Doris and Chester's sissie Sugar and sibs! As usual, the tabbies had to be first to check it out!

Gaia: I think I smell my daughter, Sugar, in there!!!

Chester: Sugar, are you in there??

All of us had to check out the new toys!

Charli: I like these feathers a lot!

Armani: These new toys are great! Do you think these feathers came from Chick-Hens?

Since I am always very busy, after I checked out mom's new calendar, I had to eat the tissue paper. I got some stuck on my tongue!

Mom looked at the pages of the calendar through to when we got the package.

Hey, for a minute we thought Charli was in the calendar!

Gaia: I am so sure I can smell my daughter, Sugar, in here! I will keep looking.

Thank you for our surprise, Uncle Bob, Auntie Doris, and Sugar and siblings! We loved it!

(You might ask. Where is CocoBean? CocoBean sleeps about 23 hours a day, so she slept through our whole surprise!)

Charli: Mom, read the inside of the card!

Mom: Ok, you cats. Someone had a paw in this! How did you manage to send me this card in the mail by yourselves?

JB: We have our ways, and we even licked the stamp!

PeeS: The look on mom's face when she opened the card was priceless! She LOL'd for a long time out loud, and she sure needed a laugh. We wish us cats knew how to use the camera to capture the moment, but we don't have thumbs! Mom has NO idea who helped us send this card, and she wants someone to fess up. The postmark came from Dallas. Hhhmmm.
