Magicka and Monday Night Combat

2011-01-29T01:53:00.000-08:00

Let me start off by saying this game shouldn't be looked over! I was on steam the other day and I decided to check out the top sellers, low and behold who was number one on that list! I looked into the game and saw that you have like 8 spells that you use in certain orders to make more powerful spells. You can take water and if you get your enemies wet then use a lighting based skill you will do extra damage. Theres tons of skill combos and the combat system is pretty unforgiving. The game has multi-player and a arena mode that go along with the single player campaign. If you play the single player campaign you can have up too for people playing, so if you have some gamepad controllers you can game with your friends if you don't want to use the multi-player online mode. The online mode right now is a little bit buggie and the single player mode has some weird glitches. If you can get over there and they are already working on patching it then totally check this game out.
I was playing online and I accidentally hit my team mate with water , ( =D ) MFW he used a lighting + arcane spell and died. This game is 9.99 usd, so pick it up on steam.

*p.s* Theres some talk that the steam version is different from other retailers versions and you can play with each other if you have the different versions. No idea is this is true just something to keep in your mind, I couldn't find any information confirming or denying this.

I bought this game because some of my friends was talking about how good it was! I checked it out and i'm actually impressed with it. It reminds me of Team Fortress 2, so if you enjoy tf2 I definitely recommend you getting this game and playing the hell out of it. I was playing online as a Gunner and I went into turret mode and got 3 kills in a row and let me tell you it felt hella good. TF2+ Crack+ Silly Announcer = Monday Night Combat. It's only 14.95 usd , it's worth it for what you get with this game.

Ravenous

2011-01-19T20:17:00.000-08:00

So, I decided to watch some movies I haven't seen in awhile and almost forgot about this bad ass movie! I picked this movie up in like 2001 at best-buy just because i'm a fan of anything David Arquette is in. Man this movie is just great, the movie can ether give you a weird vibe or if your sense of humor is like mine, you will be laughing your ass off and still be creped out at the same time. Overall, this is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Storyline

Captain John Boyd receives a promotion after defeating the enemy command in a battle of the Mexican-American War, but because the general realizes it was an act of cowardice that got him there, he is given a backhanded promotion to Fort Spencer, where he is third in command. The others at the fort are two Indians, George and his sister, Martha, who came with the place, Chaplain Toffler, Reich, the soldier; Cleaves, a drugged-up cook; and Knox, who is frequently drunk. When a Scottish stranger named Colquhoun appears and recovers from frostbite almost instantly after being bathed, he tells a story about his party leader, Ives, eating members of the party to survive. As part of their duty, they must go up to the cave where this occurred to see if any have survived. Only Martha, Knox, and Cleaves stay behind. George warns that since Colquhoun admits to eating human flesh, he must be a Windigo, a ravenous cannibalistic creature."

Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl

2011-01-17T07:08:00.000-08:00

I've decided to reinstall this awesome game and beat it for the 2nd time. If any of you know anything about this game then you are going to get one hell of a high five from me. Stalker SoC is a crazy good fps that has a dark and weird sense of humor Pretty much you're in Russia/Ukrainian after some Russia goes off in Nukes and messes everything up. You play as a russian wanna be indiana jones who lost all his memory trying to find rare artifacts. I had fun the first time I played through and some parts really did make me jump. Theres allot of technical issues with this game and if you do decide to get it be sure to find some texture mods / mods that improve anything really.

P.S. Don't buy the prequel Clear sky it's total shit
