Ever since I had my Hermes wallet stolen I've been carrying my old and worn Louis Vuitton wallet that has seen better days - so I'm lusting after a new beautiful wallet. I'm kind of boring colour wise - it has to be either black or nude and pretty simple. All these wallets I found below are all so my taste, but I can't have them all (of course - I only need one really), so which one do you guys like the most? I might need to save money for a while to get one of them, but I'd rather have one great prizy wallet than ten cheap ones.

Since I started working in Zara most of my buys are from there, but recently I have had more time on my hands and have been looking at other high-street stores. I must say that my top high-street brands are Zara, H&M & Asos, but brands like River Island and Topshop also have some great stuff.

I found these beautiful dresses and accessories from Asos.com, which are actually classics and can be used year after year (which I'm all for). They are also very hijab-friendly and with a solid black or white dress it's so easy to change it up using different kinds of accessories. It's no secret that I love black, cream, nude and white...

Zara May faves 2013...

I'm all about nudes and whites for this season. I LOVE Zara and working there I get so tempted to buy all the time as we get new items in twice a week - and I sure do my share of buying... I love these items I chose as my Zara May faves a lot - I already got me the blue shirt, the brown tunic, the white and silver shoes, the exotic pattern dress and the white silk shirt. Next on my list is the long nude skirt.

I want all these items in my closet, but might have to wait until sales to buy all of them... Do you have any favorites?

So...it's finally May - one of my favorite months - it's when more sunnier days arrives and it's also my birthdayn yeeh (May 4th). May is a month where everything blooms and where people are just a lot more happier. I have been out enjoying the lovely sunny first of May today and found a little gem of a park 5 minutes from where we live - a place I will go most nice days, when I'm off from work.

I had a not so nice experience yesterday...Was off from work as well and went to Harrods to try on the DAS collection and have a smell of Lancome's oud perfume, which is exclusive to Harrods (more about that another time).

Well on my way home I just wanted to grab a burger at McD, before I would take the tube back home. I sat at a long table and even had my handbag on a stool just beside me...but when I was to leave I realised my wallet was gone and so was a belt I had in my bag - the one beside me had had his fingers down my bag... I was totally out of it and ran to the police after getting directions. What didn't really help was that my phone died, so I couldn't even call my husband to ask him to cancel my cards and tell him what happened. Lucily all cards were cancelled as soon I could make a call from the policestation, but I was really shaken up. The fact that someone came that close and also robbed me really felt horrible, but it's Allah's way to test my patience and Inshallah he will reward me with better.

Now I will be a lot more careful in the future. As for birthday wishes, maybe a new wallet should be high up there. The one stolen was my beloved black Hermes...

Vogue uk - May 2013 in Oman...

I love these pics from the May issue of Vogue uk. Pictures are shot in Oman showing H&M spring pieces. I love a lot of these pieces, especially the kimono from the Conscious Exclusive line that I was lucky enough to get my fingers on - I wear it as a jacket over my outfits and get so many people asking me where I got it. I'm always loving H&M's trend line - I find something that I want there every time I go shopping...

I've been a big fan of Olivia Palermo's style since I first saw her on The City. She's all about mixing high end with high street. She loves pattern, colours, is very classic and the queen of statement necklaces. I love her very polished and fashionable style that can very easily be hijabified.

She's a real fashion style muse - her style makes me want to wear colours and patterns more often and not to be afraid to mix and match.

Hair obsessed...highlights...

I'm totally obsessed with hair - I think most of us women are whether we cover it or not. I normally always wear my hair up in a bun (also when I'm at home), but recently got a haircut a la Kim Kardashian with layers in the front, so I can wear it down more often or sweep it all to one side without it being flat and I love it.

I have loved highlights for as long as I can remember and have also had the hairdresser do some before, but they were not light enough and I was just not happy with the results so I dyed it back to dark...but I'm all for trying again now that I'm in London and there are plenty of salons (do you have any pointers of which ones I should know of?). I just used the Colour B4 remover to take the very dark colour out of my hair - it actually worked really well without drying my hair, so I'm ready to find me a salon to give me a lighter brown and do my highlights. I've always dyed my hair dark, but I think it would suit me much better with a lighter brown with highlights like these beautiful women - they all just look amazing.

How amazing is By Malene Birger's new winter collection?! I am in love with absolute everything. The collection is so chic, elegant and timeless and I can't wait for this collection to hit stores and go up online...but we will have to wait a while. It's not even summer yet...

Do you see anything you like or want? I must be stopping by the shop in Marylebone, when it arrives.

I'm loving the shoes a lot - I'm wishing for a pair of the white heels and the black flats. The bag below is SO amazing - in leather with Moroccan pattern on it - perfect shopper bag.

The queen of the maxi - Rachel Zoe...

I'm a big fan of Rachel Zoe - I love her rather new fashion line, her styling, her personality, her tv-show and her love for maxi dresses ( and jewelry). She's all about maxi dresses - as she says herself: maxis are the best way to look glamourous and be comfortable.

I love all these first three looks - the all white is so chic, while I would use the other two for both everyday use and going out. I love an all black or all white outfit - and you can so easily change it up by adding different pieces of jewelry and accessories.

Again...a big fan of her outfits. A black belt will break up an all white outfit for a more cool look and an all black outfit will look totally fresh with a colourful jacket. Printed maxis are so cool with a leather jacket or a blazer on top. All very hijabi-friendly looks.

Wearing a Somalian dirac Rachel looks boho and totally beauts (I have a few that I like to wear at home, as my husband says you can not go out in them, but maybe I should give it a try - I love the look). The two other maxis are colourful and either a love or hate - personally I don't like heavy prints like these.

Nude ballerinas...

I am for sure a ballerina / flat shoes kind of girl. I own several pair of heels, but rarely wear them. There's just something about flats; they are easy to wear, practical, comfy and can also be chic. I personally love nude ballerinas (or black), but for summer nude for sure.

These are my favorite pairs of nude ballerinas. Most of them I don't own, but they are on my wishlist.

The first two pairs are from Stylesnob and Sofie Schnoor - love these ones.

Next a pair from Zara with a gold chain and ballerinas from Topshop.

Designer ballerinas from Chloe and Chanel.

One more pair from Chanel (these are espadrilles, but counted them in as my fave nude ballerinas). I love these ones. They come in leather and in fabric - I love both. Last one is from Balenciaga. Love these ones a lot too and want them in black as well.

Ethnic bohemian a la Isabel Marant...

The ethnic trend is very hot this spring and summer. When I think ethnic fashion I think Isabel Marant. She's famous for her ethnic styled pieces and I am loving this trend. How beauts is this Zara waistcoat (left) that is such a Marant knock-off (right). Zara is known for being pros at doing designer knock-offs and I think they do it well. I love all these pieces below that are also found in Zara.

Isabel Marant's embellished waistcoats and jackets in quilted fabric are so beautiful. H&M has also just released some exotic boho pieces. Shop them online HERE

As with most trends in fashion they also find their way into interior decorating. I LOVE ethnic inspired rooms and pieces preferably mized with more modern pieces. -That's just my thing.

If you follow my blog you know that I have a weakness for everything Malene Birger...I love her fashion collections and her interior design style is just as amazing. Interior design is my first and biggest love - have you ever visisted my interior design blog A Touch Of Luxe ?

These pictures are of Malene Birger's Mallorcan home. I love the mix of rustic, old glamour, Nordic and Ethnic incorporated into this amazing home. All her homes are in natural colours, white, and black and always with touches of ethnic items. The Morroccan rugs are so beautiful. Would love one or two of these. I'm a big lover of everything Morroccan so Malene's style is just right up my alley.

Kim Kardashian - favorite looks - March 2013...

Today is all about my favorite of Kim Kardashian's looks in March. As most of us know by now Kim is pregnant and I actually love the way she's been dressing, even though she's been criticized about it a lot lately. I love nude and her nude looks must be my absolute favorite. Love the softness of nude colours.

Kim has been wearing a lot of mini skirts and dresses, which she's been criticized about, but I think she actually looks great - they are perfect for a beginning pregnancy belly. The first of these looks are my favorite. It's a Mugler top and Lanvin shirt and her own Belle Noel necklace. I would so wear this with black leggins underneath.

White and white and black are always really beautiful and so hot this spring and summer. You can rock this style every year as it never goes out of style. Loving Kim's all white look - the jacket is just amazing.

Yes...Kim has been wearing flats. I think this is the first time I've ever seen her in ballerina shoes, but it suits her. Being pregnant is all about comfort, so I do think we might see more of her new found love for ballerinas. She's wearing Balenciaga ballerinas.

These three looks are a love or hate...I absolutely love the grey Lanvin top and skirt. I'm a sucker for anything "bling", so this is just right down my alley...Kim is also rocking a new hairdo with highlights and bangs. I love her with highlights - it's so cute for spring and summer and makes her look softer.

I love this black and white Valentino coat has Kim wore with Balenciaga flats and American Apparel leggins. Really comfy and chic look. The khaki Phillip Lim dress she also wore last year with black leather leggins - love dresses that you can use season after season. She's wearing it with a Lanvin necklace. She must have a thing for Lanvin, because she's been wearing a lot of Lanvin items. Her white and pink look is so lady-like. She's wearing a Chloe top and Tom Ford skirt with Louboutin heels.

H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection...

I don't know about you, but every season, when H&M do their conscious collection I run to the store, because there's so much I like (plus I just love the concept of using sustainable materials)...this year I didn't buy anything from the conscious collection - there was just not anything I really liked...Luckily there's a Conscious Exclusive collection coming out in a few days (April 4) and I really love a lot of these items - so glam and couture looking. Meet Lamia...She is one of my favorite bloggers and her style is so feminine and beautiful. I really love her photography and she really is beautiful inside out.

I was so happy, when she agreed to do a interview here on Tanyesha. There will be more interviews from some of my favorite bloggers, and Lamia is the first to be a guest blogger...

1. What does a normal day look like for you?

I am a person who likes to wear comfortable clothes. If I am not comfortable then I will not wear it. Jeans, ballerinas and trench coat. This is my normal look.

2. What's your blog about and how long have you been blogging?

Since 2010 and it's about Fashion. I wanted a blog that will be a source for veiled women and a more open to non-Muslim women

3. What is your favorite store and why?

I like many different stores. I don't focus on that same store, I am constantly getting inspiration from various sources!...but I can say that I have a weakness for By Malene Birger.

4. What is your favorite buy?

Probably my new Tulle skirt by Alexandra Grecco, I feel like a ballerina :)

If I could, I would wear this skirt every day. It is definitely the most fun piece of clothing I own.

5. How would you describe your fashion style?

Parisian chicness is my style. ‘Chic, Comfort, and Covered’. I'm very observant, people inspire my fashion style.

6. If you had to choose 3 items from your wardrobe what would they be?

My prayer dress, the most thing important for me. My gold studded shoes from Zara and dress from By Malene Birger.

Lamia's style is so feminine, colorful, elegant and I totally adore her. Her blog Hijabs & Co is filled with beautiful pictures of herself and things that inspire her, and she has a weakness for By Malene Birger just as I.

Rachel Zoe is one of the first big celeb stylists and I LOVE her style...She's been styling red carpet looks and for magazines for years, but her own fashion brand under her own name is still pretty new. I love her ss 2013 collection that includes plenty of hijabi friendy pieces, such as her signature maxi skirts and bohemian style, and I LOVE it - As she would say herself: it's bananas! I just saw the latest episode of The Rachel Zoe Project [you can watch it here] and all the maxi dresses and skirts are a no-sell to boutiques and may even been taking out of production...Rachel, let me tell you - I'm pretty sure your maxi styles would be big sellers to stylish fashion loving hijabis.

Fashion trends ss 2013: Yellow...

I've never really been into colour in fashion, and I don't know why.... If you look inside my closet, you'll find blacks, nudes and greys - maybe a colourful piece or two...But this spring and summer it's time to be more colourful and add some more items of colour to my wardrobe. Yellow is one of ss 2013's big trends. I've never liked yellow - that be yellow flowers, in fashion and in interior design, but I've come to like this colour recently. - It's powerful, makes me think of summer and eye-catching. I'm off from work today, so I'm going to Zara to buy the yellow top in the second picture on the far left. I'll use it with my nude pieces, blue, boyfriend jeans and white. What do you think of yellow in fashion?

Belle Noel jewelry...

I LOVE jewelry and Kim Kardashian's jewelry line Belle Noel is just my style. I love a lot of the items from this line, especially the molted gold jewelry. You already know I wear the hair-combs in my hijab sometimes, and every time someone asks me about it. I really love that the pieces are chunky and statement pieces - like the gold dagger necklace. OMG! I'm in love...the BMB ss 2013 collection is SO beautiful and I love these items that I found on the online website. I love caftans and already have two of Malene Birger's darling caftans that I always wear in the summer. The necklace from the ss collection is perfect and I really must have me one. - I love jewelry, especially the statement kind. Not to forget the maxi dresses...Oh my...I just love these two.
