Before hand, I am just gonna say that this is not a countdown of the most played/listened/top songs of 2009 but its my personal choice of who's hot or not this year. I do not succumbed to that fact that I do not direct who's songs made the 5 stars this year but this is an unbiased choice of songs ranging from the centers of mainstream to the deepest of opus classical folk songs.
These songs may not be at the top of your choice or may be part of your 2009 playlist but I assure you that nothing beats Some Kind of Euphony version. *laughs*. This is Some Kind of Euphony's Hits of 2009!

2009 was quite a year for us. I wish to thank those who still supported Some Kind of Euphony even in the hardest of time. We all set our priorities and nonetheless, we did what we have to do. So cheers to love, peace and light everyone! I tell you. There is still 365 days to look forward to. Correction, minus 1 - 364 days as of Philippine Time.

Is Ke$ha the new hype? the new Lady Gaga? I know for a fact that she is getting popular by the dozen and nothing just cant cease her rise. And to heat things up, she just outshined Lady Gaga's single-week download record and landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and counting. I felt pity for those who knew her just by now. haha.
Anyways, the tracks are really danceable i must say. What an animal!

Maybe imma bit late of what's with the hottest songs as of the moment and to tell you the truth, music access was undeniably difficult for me for the previous months. It must be the weather. I thought of giving you my best tracks for 2009 but that would be so inappropriate because I was like out for centuries (in blogging)

Anyway, just to make some frivolous twist and defiance this season, I thought of sharing to you some of my most well-kept gems in my playlist. Its kind of a melting pot of genres ranging from electric pop to deepest opus of classics and folk and the like.

Disaster movies are ridiculous and preposterous and its meant to be like that. No matter how dope the plot was weaved together, it certainly does have its two-thumb credits for me.
The visual effects are beyond measure and i must say, i was screaming at the top of my lungs when i watching this with my best friends. Its a typical disaster movie but that concept of a modernized noah's ark did catch my attention. If you love watching 2012, better watch The Knowing, Independence Day and Deep Impact. You will love it.
Again, its a disaster movie. Its meant to be absurd! ;))

Not that I am very much drawn to indie music and all the indie loop, I just thought The Smiths were too underrated. Been a fan of The Cranberries? Or may be this band just reminds me of a pre-Belle & Sebastian feel that just keeps playing in my head. Needless to say, this Manchester-based indie band turn out to be one of the most influential alternative rock to emerge from the British independent music during the 80's. Their famous songs include Hand in Glove, The Charming Man, How Soon is Now and the list goes on. Enjoy the tracks below.

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are to die for. The perfect star-crossed couple to match in a sublimely ironic indie movie with copious references to 80's music and fashion. Indie darlings Deschanel (of She & Him) and Gordon-Levitt are perfectly cast in this lollipop-sweet, quirky film that infuses the typical romantics troped with reality. Anyone else would have caused audienced to hate Summer, but Deschanel is adorable enough that she still endears herself to viewers.

The triumphant musical sequence by Regina Spektor , Doves , Feist, Wolfmother Meaghan Smith The Smiths weaved the story to its perfect non-linear plot.

Aside from the fact that shows nowadays cater more to the trend of the moment, Fox released an American musical comedy-drama television series that focuses on a high school show choir or what you might always knew of as the school's glee club.

Although glee has been compared to high school musical, I must say it's way cooler than any of your high school musical show. Oooops! The show apart from highlighting the stereotyped cast also features covers of numerous songs sung on-screen by the characters. Musical segments typically take the form of performances, as opposed to the characters singing spontaneously, as the intention is for the series to remain reality-based. Songs of artists and bands include Journey, Rihanna, Avril Lavigne and a lot more.

One more thing, Madonna gave Glee full rights to use her song for the next year's season of Glee. Damn amazing Madge! I cant wait for what song will they pick. [check for Glee's scheduled airing and videos]

Now that 2009 is nearing and its days away, so Happy Holidays everyone.

Now before I crack this up, there are but few conundrums that bothers me right now. Not that everyone's gone a new change in their blog, ryt jel(Thieves by Tuesdays*)? hehe

Well.. think this would have to stop. Aside from the lack of internet access during school days, I would have to focus more on my studies!

I aint tired but I am oblivous of what is happening right now.

School is out-effin' me and my subjects bore me to death. Another thing, most of my teachers sucks! Though Physics still interest me. Time is of the essence but my study habit (if i had any) is fluctuating. Damn!

It's "Sweet Dreams" former "Beautiful Nightmare". I don't know what made them change the title, but I think Beautiful Nightmare would have been so catchy. Who cares. What an effing bastard. Yeah he faked us and I'm just loving it. haha. Didn't I just mention that I'm a Ben Folds-bummer? Yeah you heard me. Ben Folds faked the people by performing some fake songs in the album so to leak those fake tracks in the internet. Well you just can't blame the World Wide Web. They are fake. It's Way to Normal. That's the album.

I have this sole favorite of the genuine album which is effington. Haha. Effing! My favorite line would be the intro - "If God if watching us, He is laughing at us and our football team... Effington!" haha. coolness!

There are a lot of must-hear tracks in the album that includes "Brainwashed" and "You Don't Me" that features Regina Spektor. Enjoy.
