Do you believe in the resurrection? Me neither, but Jericho begins to require an act of faith of heavenly size. Do you know the history of the series? Was canceled by CBS after the first season of low ratings, but an original protest by fans, who filled the offices of the chain of tons of peanuts, thanks to the famous Nuts! Jake Green, the protagonist-, got bailed out for a second season of seven episodes. The chain left the door open to a possible extension in the event that the numbers improved. CBS did not happen and again cancel after the seven chapters, which put a full stop something botched a story that was always more attractive than hinted his starting point (rather unoriginal) and the talent of its cast (more discreet). We in ...

Because of its strong community of fans, Jericho remained alive through the paper: in May 2011 just published a third season of six comics. Although there was media coverage of the television series a few weeks ago it was announced that a fourth season launch, also in comic version. That is, the number rose for the second season on TV and did so again, on paper, for the third. Now the miracle could be repeated through Netflix, the video platform offering streaming movies and series on subscription and to specialize in the rescue of unjustly canceled series. A few months ago announced it had reached an agreement with Fox to offer a fourth season of Arrested Development (from 2013) and has now set a target to bring back the inhabitants of Jericho, that fictional Kansas town saved from attack U.S. nuclear.

Apparently the chapters still have much pull Jericho on Netflix though four years have passed since its cancellation. So the top brass of the platform have been in contact with CBS to consider once again revive. The negotiations, which no one makes many illusions, are at an early stage and already points to the great challenge that will make the project profitable for both CBS and Netflix. Another drawback is that most protagonists of the series, both actors and writers and producers, are tucked into other projects large and small. So, if feasible, will also require considerable time. For example, Arrested Development fans have had to wait seven years to re-watch an episode again.

Not the first time hints at the possible continuation of Jericho. One of its producers said in 2009 that he would prepare a film for close storylines. It never came. Only the comic so far been able to satisfy the hunger of the fans of the series, they see how to open a door to a possible third season. It's complicated, but possible. There are Futurama or Family Guy, Arrested Development apart, showing the way of life after death. Netflix has shown it is willing to scratch the pocket in such situations and CBS is willing to listen. If you've got resurrected twice, why not a third? Do we believe in the resurrection?

Lauren Socha, no continuara en MISFITS

2012-05-06T17:35:00.000-05:00

Lauren Socha, the acclaimed Kelly choni Misfits was the last actor cast to announce its intention not to continue in the British bombing in its fourth season, scheduled for release later this year and, apparently, with many faces new because sontres Socha and actors of the third season that will not repeat.

First was Robert Sheehan, the unforgettable Nathan who have tried to replace with Rudy, much like in nature, in the third batch of episodes. And the fourth was announced, and in December 2011, the departure of the couple formed by Alisha (Antonia Thomas) and Simon (Iwan Rheon).

Now is the charismatic Kelly's leaving the series, we are told on TV Formula unspecified reasons, since the official communiques speak of "agreement" between Britain's Channel 4 and the three players who will not follow in the fourth season, including Socha. Although the chain says it is part of the agreement recently signed with Thomas and Rheon time to complete their contract by mutual agreement, in the case of the third is a fact that may have little to do with his departure, and that on 2 May was sentenced to four months imprisonment and disqualification 12, plus 80 hours of community service after admitting a racially aggravated assault on an Asian taxi driver, which according to the statements of the victim invited him to return unkindly home and snapped the typical "Do you know who I am?". The truth is stranger than fiction again.

After the bloody end of 'Vengeance', the second season of 'Spartacus', the successful fiction Starz has already begun to introduce new faces to its cast. Two of the leading actresses Lucy Lawless and Viva Bianca, lost their lives in the last episode aired in the series, so the team's top priority has been to carry out the signings of three new female characters. Anna Hutchison, Jenna Lind and Gwendoline Taylor, three young actresses in short professional career, join the third installment of the production, which will be released in early 2013.

Hutchison will play Laeta, the privileged wife of a Roman leader whose life and those you love will change forever when it comes into conflict with Spartacus. Lind is Kore, a loyal slave of Marcus Crassus (Simon Merrells), the Roman in charge of ending the rebellion. She is completely in love with his master, though his strong feelings will be tested according to the course of events. Finally, Taylor will Sibyl, a beautiful young slave who gets to be rescued from their masters.

The three signings add to the already known Todd Lasance, who plays the iconic Julius Caesar, and Simon Merrells, which will Crassus, the richest man in Rome. Steven S. DeKnight already announced a few weeks ago its intention to introduce several new characters to fill the absence of those who lost their lives at the end of the second season but, however, has made clear that the three new additions "will not play it live and Lucy was ":" They will be completely different and not have the same dynamics, but hooked. "

The WC anuncia las renovaciones de 90210, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES y SUPERNATURAL

2012-05-04T21:33:00.000-05:00

Today we are pleased to discuss another round of renovations, which are always good news and this time the protagonist is the string-oriented young audience The CW, which has given its approval to the continuation of The Vampire Diaries, 90210 and Supernatural for next season.

It has been reported Spoiler TV, confirming the renewal of The Vampire Diaries for a fourth season, the sequel to Beverly Hills 90210 for a fifth and a negligible Supernatural eighth batch of episodes.

The Vampire Diaries is based on the novel series of the same name by LJ Smith, and takes place in Mystic Falls, a small town full of supernatural beings with normal human appearance than normal but they have nothing. Winner of several awards and nominated for a few more, as Ian Somerhalder cast out, the popular Lost Boone.

90210 is the feeling of living (name Telecinco imposed at the time, but that has nothing to do with the original Beverly Hills 90210) XXI century and recovered nearly a decade after the legendary series of his universe, and even some of the characters now have tiny roles in the new production, probably because their careers did not get to take off after the legendary series.

On 90210 becomes the flavor of that first production that aired between 1990 and 2000, and remains a soap opera for teenagers, but with new characters, actors and situations adapted to changing times. Nor have missed the awards and nominations.

Finally Supernatural is a supernatural-tinged drama as it follows the name, but also black humor that revolves around two brothers who engage in hunting demonic beings. The series has spawned related products such as comics, novels and even a Japanese anime.

MERLIN, Llegan Detalles de su Quinta Temporada

2012-04-30T21:11:00.000-05:00

We are not yet a specific date for the premiere of the fifth season of Merlin in the BBC but the truth is that seems to have already begun to prepare themselves although one of its creators has begun to move things about what will happen to the character Colin Morgan who plays.

Julian Murphy, co-creator of the British series, has advanced to Merlin fans will find something in which the lead changed since after the end of the fourth season in which Agravaine killed, your character will change and will feel more confident and focused about those who are and may be his powers as a magician.

Also love will not be one of the plots of Merlin, as we currently do not want the character to fall in love, but this does not mean that there will be temptations.

As for the rumor that the fifth season is the last of all, be added that the perpetrators of the series there is still opportunity for a new release and hope to move beyond what was said at first.

Surely not one of the most popular series in television history to start because it is British in a time when we will almost exclusively at Yankee and because it is a miniseries, but it's worth taking a look at this production, Black Mirror, which invites us to reflect on the perhaps excessive presence of technology in our daily lives.

Black Mirror comes to our screens on Channel TNT Monday 30 April at 22.15 hours, and we will present three stories in which we see that we may have gone too far in integrating technology into our lives. Stories that could be seen for the first time in the British Channel 4 and have aroused admiration and controversy alike, and now we have the legal oportundidad to judge for ourselves.

Charlie Brooker, creator of Black Mirror, defends itself from accusations of demonization of technology stating that aims only to amuse his series pointedly by hypothesis, without going into technicalities or actually attack any product or any company.

The 3 episodes revolve around amazing premises, as the first case, which question the influence of the media, society and the leaders in making decisions at critical moments. In the second chapter shows how our life has become almost a mix of reality shows and game, and the third case we consider what would happen if we could really remember in great detail what we have lived as if we were a hard living.

That this man, Bobby Cannavale, will join Boardwalk Empire in its third season is nothing new, but they are few details given by the members of his cast at the meeting they had in the Leonard Goldenson Theatre along with the creator of the series, Terence Winter, and stalls packed.

There are striking details, but interesting for fans of this series located in Atlantic City during the years of Prohibition. On the one hand, according to Deadline, it was said that the action would place 15 months after the event ended with the second season, particularly in the New Year 1922 to 1923. Obviously what happened is a series of consequences and overall things have gotten uglier than ever, because the prohibition is ongoing and people are really being without alcohol, despite the "efforts" by the mafia "distribute".

This will motivate a change in the world of the protagonist, Nucky Thompson, as will the arrival of a new rival, Gyp Rosetti (Cannavale). Apart from the new gangster there are others who will enhance its role and its importance, as is the case of Al Capone, who until now has been a secondary character and his years of "training". This is not at all surprised to know the history of the Mafia, but do not forget that the protagonist of this is Nucky.

Other questions to be answered are related to the son of Jimmy Darmody, which apparently will continue to see (and if the series gets longer reappear who knows more to settle accounts with Nucky), and with the late Van Alden, played by a Michael Shannon was at the event and said a few mysterious words, "Glad that I can play the trumpet," which caused an awkward moment when Winter replied, "Thank you for unveiling it." Curious.

Remember that it is expected that the third season of this series with Martin Scorsese as executive producer and director of the pilot will be released in September in the United States.

Nuevas Proyecciones a anunciado la cadena SyFy

2012-04-27T20:54:00.000-05:00

The Adjustment Bureau

The Family

Thanks to shows like Battlestar Galactica, Warehouse 13 and Being Human, Syfy has become the best place for fans of science fiction and fantasy genre, so we are happy to discover that the production chain has announced more than a dozen new projects for the next two years.

Worth mentioning that we talk about projects, not simply because not all series have confirmed their production beyond the pilot, and some are just in its early stages and are only a reality on paper.

As you can imagine, in the list can find all kinds of projects, from adaptations of great books and comics to futuristic worlds that will surely try to replicate the success of Battlestar Galactica and the like.

Without wasting more time, here are the new Syfy projects:

She joins forces with his half-brother, Tolliver Lang, to help in the search for a missing girl, only to discover the web of lies and murders in a small town.

Seeing Things

Neither the production of Steven Spielberg, and its dinosaurs, or the millions of dollars have been enough to claim "Terra Nova", the Fox series starring Stephen Lang and Jason O'Mara, who has been withdrawn from the program after issuance of its first thirteen chapters.

As reported by the BBC today, this blockbuster television had caught an average of 7.5 million poor viewers watching TV and the last episode aired on November 19 becomes the outcome of the Shannon family adventures, star of "Terra Nova. "

The series, which in addition to Lang and Christine Adams also appear O'Mara and Shelley Conn, had started on the wrong foot, as well as serious flooding during filming in Australia, its release was postponed on two occasions.

Defying superstition with its thirteen chapters, or his futurist starter set in 2149 as his trip to the Cretaceous, they found the complicity of the audience.

Now, while FOX will not roll more chapters of "Terra Nova", whose two-hour pilot episode cost between 10 and 20 million dollars, it does put into selling the allowances of his only season.

Steven Spielberg, known as the King Midas of Hollywood, has had a more irregular path as a television producer, combining hits like "ER" and "Falling Skies" with relative failures as "The Pacific".

As in "Terra Nova", which a priori rescued one of their specialties such as dinosaurs meet with those who became a millionaire in "Jurassic Park" - "The Pacific" also used its vision hitherto infallible World War II has given his two Oscars for "Schindler's list" and "Saving private Ryan".

Con Divertidos Teaser WILFRED, promociona su regreso

2012-04-26T20:33:00.004-05:00

The great revelation of last summer in the field of play was 'Wilfred'. The FX series, the cable subsidiary of FOX, surprised everyone with this absurd and surreal comedy about a suicidal junkie and her neighbor's dog that only he can see as a human of flesh and blood (in disguise, course). He took leave in September as one of the great successes of the chain in summer, and soon was commissioned a second season that already has several teasers to promote their return.

'Wilfred' marks the first foray of Elijah Wood in the world of television, through the adaptation of an Australian comedy is even more gross and surreal that its American version. The human form of the dog is just an excuse to create a kind of comedy Last of all, gross as her own, more absurd than any other and not give up any mood. And once you get past the stage of "what the fuck I'm seeing," becomes an endless source of laughter.

The teasers released so far, which are few (van seven in just three weeks), are small gags in the style of that used for the first season, although this time, and without all the secrecy that surrounded the series. Through them we can see also that the first season cliffhanger will not have much significance, and its resolution will not pass the first episode. The second season also features Allison Mack (Chloe on "Smallville") as a new love interest Ryan. The new 'Wilfred' premieres June 28 on FX.

Only miss 4 episodes to finish the fourth season of 'Grimm' (NBC) and new patterns are emerging while others are closed. One of the most interesting, at least for us, came in the last chapter 'Cat and Mouse' (1x18), where Nick (David Giuntoli) she ran into Edgar Waltz (Sebastian Roche), a Hundjäger or dog-like creature Verrat working for. The latter is a secret organization that partners with seven royal houses who maintain order in the world Wesen and, among other things, fought on the side of Franco against the Republican Army during the Spanish Civil War. In fact, one of the ancestors of Nick speaking during one of the films screened at the event, coming from Madrid and is called Edward Grimm.

'Grimm' returns April 27 to the U.S. with the issue of 'Leave It to Beavers' (1x19). In it, Nick investigate the death of a construction worker while trying to wake the Grimm who lives inside. The suspect tells the Reapers to eliminate Nick and girlfriend, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), insists on inviting dining Blutbad Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) with all the dangers that entails. We'll see if we discover more of the Seven Royal Houses and also why it is assumed that the Grimms have worked for them and for Verrat in the past.

2012-04-25T19:12:00.001-05:00

Or increasingly interesting for the fans of Gilmore Girls, the new series created by writer Amy Sherman-Palladino, called Bunheads and although premieres June 11 on ABC Family, will also have the presence of Gregg Henry .

Henry's role will be to one of the inhabitants of this town. A surfer also has a local restaurant.

Come Back THE KILLING: Ghosts of the Past

2012-04-25T18:51:00.003-05:00

¿Nos revela Ghosts of the Past algún dato relevante al respecto?

Are they still the characters much more exciting that your story? Are Holder and Linden one of the best couples on TV? Does it come out the sun in Seattle? We can talk about many things ... the mess!

The statements of these associations include details such as the series promoted 'negative' from 'Zapatero's Spain', ie homosexuality, drugs and alcohol.

Despite everything, Freccero, the director of the chain, does not desist, and makes it known that 'Physics and Chemistry could return in autumn', but this time at night.
