The word "rebuke" is usually understood to signify an "in your face confrontation" over sin or other bad behavior, in an effort to shame or guilt a person into admitting their wrong. This is actually an incorrect understanding of what the word actually means. In the Kingdom of God, everything (especially confrontation), should be done in love and with grace.
