FLOYD MAYWEATHER Jr ACCUSED OF DIRTY TACTICS BY VICTOR ORTIZ'S CAMP

2011-09-17T00:30:00.000-07:00

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz was face to face Friday on the evening of their world title fight welterweight, having trained their bodies to the toughest peak.

Ortiz pressed his forehead on his challenger, Mayweather pushed forward. For emphasis, Mayweather's hand grasped at Ortiz's neck, jamming a finger in the jaw of Champions.

The most important fact of the day was that Ortiz, 24, weighed the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, while Mayweather 34 (41-0, 25 KOs) weighed 1461 / 2.

Establish why this confrontation happened, was speculation.

"Mayweather is very nervous, he knows he will be having the toughest fight of his life," coach of Ortiz, Danny Garcia said.

"The distractions are things you see when you lose focus," Ortiz manager, Rolando Arellano said. "Mayweather can do what ever he wants .... We got one thing on our minds, and for a fighter who made 41-0 legendary, it is a clear sign of insecurity and inadequacy."

Chief advisor of Mayweather , Leonard Ellerbe, blamed the escalation on Ortiz's immaturity.

"The guy has never been on a stage like this before," Ellerbe said. "He finally realized,'I will be fighting Floyd Mayweather great'. "

"Floyd, as always, cool and quiet. You could see the nerves of the kid by looking into his eyes."

The fighters were then represented at the meeting with the Nevada State Athletic Commission rules and the World Boxing Council.

At the meeting Arellano told WBC supervisor Chuck Williams, Keith Kizer, Executive Commission that Mayweather "gain an unfair advantage," and commits an "abuse of rules" with his elbows, and he turns his back to lure opponents into deduction of points possible.

"The committee has assigned one of the most experienced referees in the world," Williams said Arellano veteran referee Joe Cortez.

Garcia warned that if he does not realize Mayweather Cortez "dirty" tactics.

"What will happen if I tell Victor to hit Floyd in the [privates]?" Garcia asked. "If he wants to fight dirty, we will fight dirty.

"We will win this fight. Whatever."

Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KOs) has stiffened, and Mayweather head games continue until the first bell.

On Friday, Mayweather's father, Floyd Sr., stood by the weigh-in stage and the fighter paid no attention to him , who threw the elder Mayweather out of his gym before several weeks in an expletive-filled exchange which was filmed by HBO.

"He can bring anybody he wants to" Danny Garcia said. "We are going to fight the same way that we planned."

THE LION KING 3D REVIEW

2011-09-16T14:28:00.000-07:00

Ah, the circle of life. First, a Disney movie is released to the world to run and jump and play with his paying public, he grew up in a cassette, VHS disappearing into the vault for years at a time like a Broadway show, a straight line sequel-to-video movie IMAX re-release, a DVD, a special edition DVD, and so on, until finally he was reborn as a 3-D re-re-release. It's really beautiful when you think about.

The Lion King is one of the earliest examples of classical cinema planned for an ex post facto in 3-D conversion, and a little on the horizon of stereoscopic films like Star Wars, Top Gun, My Dinner with Andre, and more . Therefore, is it worth? After seeing the new version, the 3-D does not really change much. However, it is not as entertaining as some of the recent post-production in 3-D jobs, and others that the range of silent color film just great, classic animation we know and love came through the process free. Personally, no chance to see the return of the movie on the big screen, and that parents are able to present their children, that's fine by me. Is that the people or the Smurfs.

3-D, the reaction is already inevitable rounds for some time, and I'm sure that some of the variations that come down the pike are intended for direct confrontation with the bitterness and headache-y of the public. Yet, this should do quite well, with families bringing a new generation of viewers to enjoy the adventures Simba. In addition, parents have the opportunity to tell young people that they can remember the days when times were really tough and people can afford to watch film only in two dimensions.

Yes, it is a blatant cash-grab trick, but so are many Hollywood movies. But most people do not sing "Hakuna Matata" on the way home. And you? You're going to see The Lion King, or are you just waiting for the next Disney Song of the South: the 3-D extravaganza!?

FLIPKART, THE ONLINE SHOPPING STORE IN INDIA

2011-09-16T13:58:00.000-07:00

A few months ago, when Rajesh Kiran could not find a book he wanted in the bookstores he found it available online at Amazon.com for $ 10. But he had to pay more than $ 9 extra rate as shipping fee for Amazon to send it to him.

Kiran, who's a software programmer, said he would not do it again. He now shops on something similar to the Amazon - FlipKart.com - a site which delivers books, phones and other items in just 24 hours at no additional cost. Kumar does not have to pay FlipKart a single dime until the courrier with the books came to his door. Then you can pay him through cash or credit card.

"I think it fits perfectly with the Indian mindset," Kiran.

Although dozens of electronic commerce companies have recently emerged on seeing the Internet growth in India, the Indians are not comfortable buying on the web. Many of them are reluctant to use credit cards online. So, Indian retailers have done everything to get customers. Customers can pay cash on delivery, and companies fields delivery squads to ensure customers receive shipments soon.

When a small delivery van arrived in the Koramangala section of Bangalore where the company started , from the company's warehouse, the men hurried to get two large duffel bags filled with packages and were placed on two tables in the house.

After the packets were scanned with a hand-held computers, they put the boxes into large backpacks, they carried them on their back and drove away in their bikes to deliver them.

Online sales still represent a small portion of overall retail spending - an estimate pins it at $ 10 billion, a small fraction of $ 500 billion retail market in India - but they are growing rapidly.

FlipKart said it had revenues of 500 million rupees ($11 million) in its last fiscal year, and now it is clocking sales of approximately 10 million rupees a day. SnapDeal.com, a site offering coupons similar to Groupon, expects sales of 1.5 billion rupees this year, compared to almost nothing last year. Top executives of the Future Group, the largest retailer in India, says its online sales every day are on pace to triple by March.

"This time it is for real," said Kishore Biyani, founder and CEO of Future Group, referring to the previous wave of e-commerce euphoria in early 2000s. "This is the most important thing to happen in India."
