every once in a while you stumble upon that last-one-in-your-size piece on sale. i unwrapped this neon tweed a-line and got that jittery excitement of i-can't-wait-to-wear-it. the only woe i have is not nabbing another one so i could splice it together to make it a longer, work-wearable skirt. no matter, it will still get heavy rotation while i find ways to work it through all the seasons.

nothing like a weekend trip to the nation's first capitol. although the peplum was a little warm in the philadelphia heat, it was the perfect transition from sight-seeing day to bar-hopping night.

due to some looming deadlines, i've been schlepping around in a uniform of tee/shorts/hoodie. today was no different, until a package of NEW! came in the mail. although it's still a tee+shorts combo (sans hoodie), it was enough to get me to throw on some sunnies, lip gloss and bangles (which is more accessorizing than i've done all week). time to head outside and remember what summer feels like.
