101 Gourmet Cake Bites

I have been waiting and waiting for this cook book by Wendy Paul! It came just in time for my daughters 5th birthday party next week! We are doing a carnival theme and the idea of cake pops just fits in perfectly! The only problem? Choosing which flavor we are going to do!!

I made a huge list of flavors I want to try- but Key Lime Pie, Raspberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Even More S'more (oh and Caramel Apple...) are among the top ones. How do I choose?!? I guess I will have to make them all!

Wendy Paul's book is so user friendly that even if you have never made cake pops before you will be cooking them like a pro in no time at all. She gives very clear instructions (and pictures- Yeah!) on how to make the cake pops and how to coat them. Last time I tried to coat mine it was a mess- I wish I would have had Wendy Paul' book then!

What we thought:
Really how can you go wrong with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!? It was a fabulous DVD! My kids LOVE the Mickey Mote because it gives them a way to interact with the DVD and I love it because it makes them think and they aren't just zoned into a movie. If you don't own this yet I would recommend adding it to your "must buy" list!

Have you ever heard of Del Sol? If not you are in for a real treat! It is my new favorite summer store! Del Sol has amazing apparel and accessories that change color in the sun!

My favorite product is their nail polish. It will be one color inside and then once you go outside it changes. I love that it works the whole time you have it on (not just for the first few days...)

They have so many products to choose from- from t-shirts, sunglasses and now even hair accessories and jewelry. My girls LOVE to wear anything Del Sol. I love how the color change is instant! You don't have to wait 10 minutes for the color to change once you get inside or outside.

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure {Review}

It was a *fabulous* movie to watch as Sharpay finds out that nothing comes easy and that true friends are priceless. I thought it was great to watch Sharpay learn some very valuable life lessons as she set out on her own. If you were a fan of High School Musical you will probably enjoy this as well.

As you probably know by now- I am a huge fan of the designer handbags that Miche Bag makes! If you are also a huge fan of Miche you can learn more about their home parties and how to be a Miche rep by going to their website. I am so excited to be one of Miche's quarterly reviewers!

This quarter I recieved a large bag to try out along with the Cleo shell:

Cleo is amazing! The Cleo shell is so fashionable and beautiful. The vertical zipper pouches are a fun change from the norm. This would make any outfit look more fashionable just by adding this purse to it. Though at first I didn't know if I would like it (or could pull it off...) I love the Cleo shell and am excited to add it to my collection!

I've been using this bag for a couple of weeks now. It has become my new favorite go-to bag!

So far I've used it as a library bag and it is awesome for carrying around the mounds of books my kids want to bring home. I also have big plans to use it this summer to carry towels when we go down to the river or delicous fruits and vegetables at the farmer's market. This bag would be great to use as any kind of shopping bag and it is so cute too!

Who doesn't LOVE Bambi! (ok minus the sad part in the beginning...) I am so glad we got to review it and that it is out from the vaults! Every home needs Bambi in it!

My thoughts:

I loved this book! I liked that it wasn't just a novel or just a discourse on Grace. It was a great combination of both! I learned a lot about "Impractical Grace" as the author puts it as I enjoyed the story. For those who don't normally read novels (or pure doctrinal books) this is a great combination of both and will appeal to many readers! If you are looking for a great book in your life to inspire you to change, forgive and love.... this is a great one! You can find it on Amazon! Enjoy!

CSN is amazing! Not only do they have fabulous products they are super amazing at customer service! BUT... before I get into that... let me share with you what I was able to review this time!

I am desparately trying to get my pantry/cupboards organized so these:

I love them! I still need more for the complete look so I will make you wait for a picture til then. They are high quality and are easy to use. I love that they are dishwasher safe and seal nice and tight!

THESE are super fun and amazing how many activities you can do with them. Hours of fun for just $9.75! :)

NOW... my Customer Service experience with CSN. I purchased an entry table around Thanksgiving and it arrived damaged. I contacted CSN via email and within hours I received a reply! To make a long story short... there were a few more issues to work through but they were fabulous to work through and never once made it a hassle to get results. THANK YOU CSN!!

What we thought:

First of all, my daughter and I both LOVED the fact that there was a Mickey Mote!! I normally don't let my kids play the games that come with the movies because I don't want them to mess with the other buttons on the remote control. The Mickey Mote was easy to set up for them and worked great! The movie was also a fun movie for my kids. They always love Minnie and her friends. If you are looking for a fabulous new movie for your kids I would recommend this one!

SMS Thoughts:

I LOVE this! Because - really- who has a lot of time to clean? Normally the weekend hits and we look at our house thinking "EVERY ROOM needs 5 hours... but we only have 2!!" Now- I say "Ok lets hit the kitchen for 15 minutes and then we will go...." I love it! We set the timer and go from room to room. The hard part is stopping when the timer goes off because you want to stay in that room until it looks great but when the rooms ALL look a little better- you are glad you kept going.

101 Gourmet Cupcakes {Review & Giveaway}

This book is worth throwing that whole "Lets diet" New Years Resolution right out the door for! I LOVE the mouth-watering photos on nearly EVERY page! The recipes are so easy to follow and fun to make. Since I was looking for another reason to make cupcakes- I was SOO excited to hear that a party coming up is going to have gourmet cupcakes for the treat and they were looking for people to volunteer to bring some. I quickly wrote down my name!

I am addicted to the Chocolate Cream cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache. I made these for a friend and am SO glad I saved some for me. Wendy Paul and her fabulous cookbooks are my newest friends! Be watching for her 101 Gourmet Cookies book Review and Giveaway soon!
