Do I really need to ask for it? Maybe when I deserve it so.

Do I really deserve it? That I am at a postion to ask for it?

Why is it that you get corrected when it is not according to their wish? And why is it that we are never appreciated for how we have made it to this? Why are we not appreciated for what we have been able to dream of....?

Hope the one reading this never get what I really mean to say, but if you get the context, I assume you to be facing the same as me. Maybe that's the reason you could relate so.

For those who couldn't get it so far, In simple words,

Today, we are appreciated limiting to our social media status and stories.

Maybe we were being appreciated just for them to keep updating their stories. Rude... But naa, not being rude, FACT!!!

We have limited our expression to these social media stories and nothing more than that, what we/ I really miss is, being hugged and appreciated face to face.

For the appreciations that I've ever received in the form of whatsapp or facebook stories... My heart full of love for you, even though just a simple message was enough for me... Why to waste a whatsapp story for someone.😅

While this is not even something to be discussed about, when one of such pain is being neglected by the group of people whom you have been for a long period and were expecting their support at the first.

Time can really make you realise who were and are your real ones.

No!! It's not always your fault of being ignorant, even after being too much careful of your dear ones, you might get ignored whatever the situation may be.

Really thankful for the ones I have been in contact with.... Those people I could count on my fingers, You make me feel,

"It is not what one assumes to be".

The saddest part of growing up was realising that no matter how hard we try we might not get our childhood back. All we could do is to feel sad missing those days.

I remember I got my first mobile phone after my secondary education. And almost all of my friends experienced the same, only few had a mobile phone during school and they were living the "luxurious life" according to us😜

There are many such contradicts as comparing to the today's lifestyle. And here, maybe only the 1997-1999 liners might relate to the listed below.

The clay art class (craft period) we had, to bring out our artistic talent. Those craft periods we loved.

Intestines:

After your food leaves your stomach it travels through long coiled tubes called intestines.

You have two lands of intestines; small and large. Your food travels through the small intestines first where it is digested

and all the vitamins and nutrients are absorbed. This takes between 1-4 hours.

Next, It travels through the large Intestines where water is absorbed before the food leaves your body as waste (poop). Food can

be in the large intestines anywhere from 18 hours to two days!

Oscar -The Cat

Ever felt overwhelmed watching cute animal videos, animal-human bond videos? Ever felt like buying a pet...... a pet dog or cat who would cuddle us when we feel low. Many pet owners say that they feel stress relieved when they are around their pet. It is a proven fact that dogs have the ability to detect if his owner is upset or not and he could help his owner feel better. The dog will sense it and cuddle the human as a sign of comforting the person.

I've always felt a need of a pet dog, a small pomeranian puppy. And this was when I started researching about the benefits of having a pet dog, ignoring what my mother always say, "I won't allow 2 dogs under the same roof". But never I've felt the need of having a cat as my pet. Because most what I've read or heard is that dogs are better at comforting humans than cats. This is when I read about a supernatural cat. "Oscar".

Just as a parent being proud of his/her successful child. I found a hospital who is proudly highlighting about its cat's feature.

Seems so confusing right? A hospital, discussing about its cat? How come a cat is brought more into the picture of a hospital website?

Steere House a rehabilitation center for senior citizens. Who believe that animals can bring joy to human lives and is also a home to varieties of animal. Visiting their website I found a very interesting page "Oscar The Cat". There lives a 11 year old cat named 'Oscar' who can identify patients who are likely to die soon. Oscar cuddles and comforts the patient who is near to death.

Oscar curls upon the patients lap and this is like a signal to the doctors there, to call up the patient's family for a visit. Oscar could predict around 100 of such deaths at this care center.

What more interesting I felt is, the believes of human.

We live in an era of so many animal abuses coming up, so many superstitions associated with cats, I hope I don't need to specify some.

I wonder what Oscar would have been named here. Maybe he would be named as "cursed cat", "manhoos billi" etc.

Oscar is a pride to the hospital, Steere House.

Many address him as "supernatural cat", "miracle cat"

Batch- 2020

There used to be time when students use to feel excited for their First Day of School. School days were really different from college ones. Excitement of buying new bag, water bottle, etc.

To my knowledge, First Day of an academic year begins in the month of June, making it more obvious to buy new raincoats or umbrella the reason behind buying new ones every year was that we never reused the same old bag/ raincoat. Those days were really full of joy.

Also as time passed- completing our school studies- joining college we realised how stupid it was to buy new stuff every year. Three year of college we must have never bought a new bag- meaning we reused and reused the same old bag for so long. Those rainy days(school days) we use to pray for heavy rains so that school declares a leave for the same. Or by mistake if our prayers go unheard, during lectures we used to pray for a half day.

Those were very different and special days we miss today because now ahead we are no more excited for our first day of college/school. We are no more curious on who our school/college life friends might be. We are no more pulling seats for our bffs/ gang, will miss the lunch-break with chit chats being the sole purpose, all with the new era of 'Online classes'. No doubt it is the most effective step taken towards safety yet we might miss catching new friends. I wonder how am I going to make new friends through online lectures.

A very peaceful and convenient era for the 'Introverts'.

Am sure even these days are going to be the most memorable times for batch-2020 when things get back to normal.

Being A Girl: Hey Ladies...

Ever felt if you were born to be a boy? Ever felt the guilt of staying quiet for the harrasment suffered in a public transport? Ever felt embarrassed for reacting against the same? Ever felt how better it would have been if all men were as kind as your father?

Being A Student:

Ever kept nodding your head even when not even a single word goes in your head? Maybe because we never wanted to disappoint the teacher or maybe because asking questions would make us look dumd😅 Ever felt to run home fast to begin studying for the next semester and ending up with just doing the opposite?

Being In Pain:

Ever felt like restarting everything, even life? Always did feel so but had no courage to be born again to start studying from the beginning😰 We students know the difficulty of byhearting all the answers. Ever wished you were born in some other caste? For whatever reasons😜

Being Alone:

Ever felt lonely in crowd? Ever felt left-out? Ever locked youself in a dark room, all alone without your phone?

Being An Obsessed Fan:

Ever felt how badly you like your favorite artist? Ever felt like restarting the song again for just to feel it all again? Ever felt a song so meaningful when you don't even understand the lyrics? Some Korean Songs. Ever felt your phone volume isn't enough for your favorite song? Ever felt like reloading the YouTube video just because you missed your favorite artist's expression?

Realisation for the above:

Ever realised how badly you loved a particular song and used to hear it so regular that it someday became the most annoying song for you? Ever realised how obsessed you were about your favorite artist that you had a lot of it and now that person is no more your favorite?

Modern Introverts

We don't like to be addressed as "INTROVERTS".

We go for functions, we also dance like idiots yet we are introverts. We sometimes hesitate to smile to our friends or to some we know because we doubt of being ignored.

We are among the audience scared of LIMELIGHT. We need somebody to always walk with us or stand by our side to support what we are doing. We keep silent only with the fear of being ignored, what if our jokes go unheard? Also, during lectures, even "MARKING PRESENT" made us feel so shy.

We also sometimes fake it of being so busy on phone also sometimes we fake attending a call.😂😂

In case of emergency, we TEXT never CALL. Sometimes we also stare at the ringing phone, making excuse "PHONE WAS ON SILENT" maybe we were not in a mood to talk. We can chat for hours but will go silent when we meet in-person. We have all our juniors, seniors, classmates from our college, school as our Facebook friends yet we behave like "I don't remember accepting your request". We also have crossed paths avoiding a conversation.

Talking to a relative on phone is also a huge task for us sometimes, we feel like speaking more, yet we speak so less. We keep checking our Facebook or Instagram profile just to make sure our profile looks perfect for a new visitor, NO.. We are not self obsessed. Also before posting anything we make sure it looks really ohk, we also make a habit of asking twice or thrice about the post to our friends or family.

But most importantly, We are Introverts to only some, We are a complete nuisance to our close friends.

Secrets...

Do you share all your secrets to your parents, friends, or a cousin? I never. Nor do I share it with my sibling, even though it is common to share secrets to our siblings but not so common😅 maybe because of the fear that they might someday reveal it, or maybe if they start judging us. Or maybe they might go against it as they are really concerned about us. Maybe these are the reasons I never make a mistake of sharing my secrets just to be on the safer side.

So how about sharing secrets to a stranger who has no contact to your family, friends etc? Somebody who has no reach to your contact, address? Somebody who stay miles away? Sounds comfortable to me.

If I find somebody to write letters to, to share my stories with, share my feelings to, that person becomes my Pen Pal, my Pen Friend.

According to Google, back in 1930s, once a teacher felt a need of connecting her students to the students of some other countries. With the intention of learning about the culture, lifestyle, language of the foreign countries. With a hope to create international friendships. This was the main purpose of having a pen friend.

Pen Pal was a tradition those days, where a school going student from India makes a habit of writing a letter to a student outside India. And as time passed, these students became friends, they started sharing their secrets, they grew together but not really together. These pen friend relations were famous those days. There are also many movies based on the same concept, You've got a mail(1998), Sirf Tum(1999), Out of Reach(2004) and many more.

Pen Pal then was replaced after the internet era started. Even these pen friends had no time to write so they used to make calls, shared mails, got connected online. As it was more convenient anyways. Today even if we feel nostalgic and feel like bringing back those days we might fail, not possible because even the Post Master might laugh if we go to post a letter.

Selfies.....

How often do we click selfies? Not these days but we do click them too often. Selfies are the next main thing we(girls) take after dressing up for an event maybe to be sure that we don't miss having a memory of how gorgeous we looked😉We girls are never satisfied with just one selfie, we need many with variety poses. Hey, not just girls but all do. There are many who go extremes for a selfie from underwater selfies to selfies on the highest mountain, buildings etc.

So, how about selfie with animals? Yes pet owners do have one. Nothing new but how about having a selfie with the wild lives? There are many wild life photographers capturing the best of the wild life beauty. But very few who has selfies with the newly met animals. Ever imagined having a picture with animals? And why would they even share screen with us humans? We humans who lack humanity? With increasing number of animal cruelty.

Even pet owners know the difficulty of capturing a photo of them looking into the camera. These stubborn pets got no chill 😂

I remember how difficult was it to get a perfect shot of this little creature.

And recently did I learn about a person who is not just an expert in animal photography but also has mastered in animal selfies. He is known for the selfies he capture with the wild lives posing with a smiling face.

Allan Dixon is famous for the bond he shares with the wild animals, as there are a lot many selfies he posted on his Facebook and Instagram account. I wonder how he makes them feel comfortable. Also how long it takes for the same.

Many say, "Dogs are human's best friend", Scrolling through his Instagram feeds made me believe that it is not that only dogs can make us feel happy, also the rest can. It is just us humans who need to take the first step towards friendship.

What Is Depression? Types? And How To Overcome It?

Depression is a state of mind when a person loses interest in almost everything, everything he does. Depression and bad mental health have been ignored since long time and ignoring it can also lead to death if it gets worst. Depression can also lead to suicide. According to The World Health Organization (WHO) women are more likely to get depressed than men. No doubt for the reasons women might get affected but to be considered that even men are most likely to depression as they are the ones suppressed by the society norms of,

Not expressing themself too much.
To be the one to run the house financially.
Not to cry out no matter what because "Men/Boys Don't Cry".
And many more.

Men and women are all equal before depression.

Let's get into the types of Depression:

Persistent Depressive Disorder: It is when depression lasts for around 2 years.
Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder: This is when children and teens get extremely irritated, angry at times and also tend to outburst.
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: It is when women experience mood swings before their periods

There are many more types of Depression if we take a list of it. While those mentioned above are the most common types of Depression people face.

How Do We Fight Against It?

We can help ourself only if we help ourself. The best part is that sometimes we don't need others to overcome depression, we can do it ourself.

Making A Diary: These days there are none to hear us, we ourself don't listen to others, so now we can make a personal diary for self to write about all the feelings we have as it also gives the feeling of being heard. But if we have a really good friend all we can do is share with them all the sufferings.

Researching Too Much Might Be Worst: Sometimes researching too much will attract more tension if we get into detail of how bad depression is, in this case some knowledge is enough. So that we don't need to worry about the situation we might never end-up with.

Watch fun videos: Watching funny videos will really help us to overcome stress but remember not to watch too much of it as it might become the only way for you to feel happy.

Cutting Down Social Media For A While: Social media is a platform where people try to show only the happy side of them which would make us wonder that it is only us suffering all the hard times.

Seeking Doctor: Neglecting our mental health is the biggest mistake we do. It is always good to consult a doctor because they are the one there to help us.

Motivation: Motivation is something we surely need at this time. When we read or learn about how people with too much hardcomes have become successful, we will get much more motivated through it. It might make us realise that maybe we are not even suffering the half of what the others suffered.

Getting yourself busy: Building new hobbies or learning new skills will definitely help us overcome stress, because now we are putting all our time into a new skill instead of overthinking.

So these were the tips to overcome depression, hope it helps you some how. But most importantly, always consult a doctor if needed because our mental health is our responsibility, something we need to take action for. We need to help us to help us.

If you are the one here reading this then there is no better friend than you. All you could do is to stay by the person no matter how difficult it gets.

Let's Not Treat Them Like Patients : Nobody likes to be addressed themselves as "patients" especially if they are suffering from mental difficulties. This might trigger them and they might not further feel comfortable to share their feelings again.

Make Them Comfortable : Let them know that you are always there to help. Make no negative actions to doubt them on your intentions.

Listen To Them : This is something very important. Let them speak what they are going through because only they know what they are going through and let's not make our own assumption.

Do Not Always Question Them : Here out of concern you might keep asking them of their status which might get them irritated and might lead to a fight because of which they might not want to share anything ahead.

Take Them To Fun Places : Now not all might feel happy clubbing or partying but some might really feel stress releaved after a good get-together or even after dancing to their favorite songs. You never know what works better.

Take Them To A Doctor : If the person is stressed out for more than a certain period of time after trying your best to help them, then they definitely need a doctor's help. But make sure you don't force them for a consultation.

Maybe We Misunderstood Our Parents

Hloo friends, happy with all the supportive comments after my first blog. Thank you❤. Because of which I didn't wait for even a week to begin with the next blog.

Had no idea that the blog also had comment section with it or else I would have asked all to suggest me some good topics to write. I began writing with the thought of just sharing some of the topics which I recently had no clue about and had discovered during the lockdown period. Hope nobody is suffering from the previous topic I shared, just wanted to share it only for knowledge purpose of something as such do exist. Although today am writing on this which is not what I learnt from lockdown, but because I felt would be great to share my views here.

Am the one who is waking up late in the afternoon these lockdown days, nothing special with the lockdown I used to wake up late all day. Am the one who's not into helping my parents in the kitchen as am not good at cooking, but I try helping with cleaning the house. If your life is similar to what mine is then beta you have no rights to complain about your parents.😉

Maybe our generation has misunderstood our parents at some points. Maybe you could relate to what I share now.

Late night at sleep, when our parents come to check if we are sleeping or using phone or what, we misunderstood them, they were not actually into what we were doing but they were concerned whether we were sleeping well or not.

That stare they give when we smile on our phone, is not that they were against our happiness, they were concerned if we were happy for the right thing.

Those taunts they give for our mistakes, were not to demotivate us but they were just preparing us for the criticism we might face some day.

Sometimes when they didn't allow us to go for functions late at night alone, they were concerned if something wrong happens to their child.

When they rarely buy us expensive items they were teaching us how to be thrift.

Lucid Dreaming

With all possible searches, just to fill my free time and to keep up the curiosity in me, I believe I've made optimum use of lockdown. To which I did learn something new to experiment on self for better, which brings me to today's topic "LUCID DREAMING".

What is Lucid Dreaming? We surely love dreaming, maybe we love it as we know, it's the only space we could have complete control or even if something unusual happens we know its not true. And what if we could overcome our fear through dreaming? That is Lucid dreaming. Its a state where we are aware of the dream yet we continue dreaming.

Experiencing VR:

This is almost similar to virtual reality, like if a person has some fear then the person will be suggested to have a virtual reality session.

Or maybe when a person is Nyctophobic (fear of darkness) the person has to complete tasks staying in a dark room for a certain period of time virtually, where the person knows he's not really present but is experiencing it.

Lucid dreaming is the same where we know the truth but we fake it for maybe our happiness, or to overcome fear etc. Many say lucid dreaming helped them overcome their fear. But as even "a coin has 2 sides", lucid dreaming got it's own disadvantages.

Like for me, visiting a place I never visited before via lucid dreaming will be no bad, as its also pocket friendly, but it would only harm me when I would frequently do that only as to escape from the reality. Lucid dreaming is only bad if one uses it as a way of finding happiness, in such a situation the moment he wakes up after lucid dreaming, that will be the end of his happiness.

How lucky the person is to fall asleep only minutes after going to bed. But how lucky are the rest to have the chance to dream to their potential.

I personally would love to lucid dream 😴 so as a form of escapism, how about you?

MYSTERIOUS DARKWEB

This is the first blog am writing and what inspired me was one of my friend who had so very beautiful words for her first blog which made me wonder what if, even I begin writing blogs, also after some research on what blogging is, has made me do so.

Getting to the topic DARKWEB. Had no clue on what it actually was. During these quarantine days I had nothing to do being home, I used to search sometimes very irrelevant things on the internet which made me wonder how THE INTERNET actually works. Which brought me to a YOUTUBE recommendation "DARK SIDE OF WEB". The curiosity in me made me fall to the scariest part I could witness.

What really dark web was? The YouTube video ended planting doubts in me on how could something happen like such. I made a whole-week research on this to which I could have basic knowledge about it.

What I learned is, the Internet (web) is of three layers, the SURFACE LAYER on the top which works as the search engine, the DEEP WEB which is the middle layer which permits access only after login, these sites are the online banking sites etc. The bottom layer is the DARK WEB which had scary stories to say. This space had something with the murder and all the notorious, illegal activities going on. It is said that all the illegal items like drugs etc are sold here, also anybody could hire a murderer to kill their enemy. And all these activities were active as the clients and the suppliers were all anonymous. Nobody could track these users. I wonder do they even get their orders to their doorsteps. This was something very little to worry about because what actually bothered me was to learn about the "RED ROOM" facts.

These Red Rooms were also a part of Dark Web and was said that these rooms had live shows going on inside. The live videos which were published and seen only for the darkweb account users and the live was about Human Killing. How was killing someone live being allowed to get on air? And how was doing something like such have no legal actions? Also, how was watching somebody being killed was not questionable?

The red room space is not something I could talk about in brief. Will write in detail on the Red Room maybe next time.
