What's up, everybody?! A lot's been going on in the Ballyhoo! camp lately. We recently announced the release date for the new album, "Cheers!". It drops Tuesday, March 25th. So mark that calendar!

We'll be taking Pre-Orders very soon, so keep an eye out for the bulletins and such.

Happy New Year, everybody!

We just wanted to say how awesome all of our fans have been to us this past year. We've toured our asses off and stayed at your homes and drank your beer. You've been so hospitable.

We've been working on a new record since the summer and are in the final stages of production. We'll be releasing more info in the next few weeks, but we CAN tell you that it's called "CHEERS!". Expect a lot of sounds new and old. We're expanding on what you already know and making the songs bigger and better.

Hey, we're playing at Brew River for the Salisbury University Grad Party THIS Saturday, December 15th! Drink specials and more! We hope to chill with all our OC/Salisbury friends.

Then, on Tuesday, December 18th, we're doing the MEX Christmas Party at the Power Plant in Baltimore. Make sure you get some passes so you can get in early for the open bar and snacks!

What's up? It's your favorite party rockers, Ballyhoo!. We're in Florida again this week and tonight we'll be at Bourbon Street Nightcub in New Port Richey, located on Rt 19.

It's an ALL-AGES show! Make sure you come and check out the FCW Wrestling Match before play. $1 Drafts and $4 Jager Bombs. Don't Miss It!

The tour will continue through the week, taking us to Bradenton, Satellite Beach, New Smyrna, and 2 shows in Daytona. Then we'll start making our way back north with shows in Charleston, SC and Raliegh, NC.

Ballyhoo! will be doing a VERY special show in New York VERY soon. We will need to get a lot of people out. It will be early, like 7pm.

Probably one of 2 of our most important shows in the near future. I can't say anymore than that right now.

Hey guys, check out the new MySpace layout. Can you "Orange"? I think it looks hot. Anyway, yeah, took me like 4 hours last night, but I'm happy. Of course, I'll be making little tweaks here and there..you know me!

We recently hit 13,000 friends. Thanks so much for checking out our music and spreading the word. It means a lot. We've been getting an 1,000 to 1,300 plays a day. Sick!

I also saw that we've sold over 12,000 downloads on the iTunes a lot of them are full albums!! insane! This is on top of the 7,000 hard copies of "Do It For the Money!". So thank you once again.

CARWASH FOR JOEY!

For all the local heads, there will be a Carwash Benefit for Joey Edwards medical bills on Saturday, August 18th at the Northeast Post Office. So make sure you get out there and get your car looking good for a few bucks. You'll be helping Joey's family pay for his hosptial bills. We raised over $2500 at the show a couple weeks ago, so thanks a lot!

Break Time / Benefit::

The Benefit for Joey went really well last night. We raised over $2,500 for his medical bills. It's really amazing when people can come together like that when such a situation occurs. Felt good to have all of his friends out and showing their support. Thanx to everyone that came out.

There will be a car wash to raise more money soon. We'll find out the info and post it here.

So, we're taking a much needed break from the grind. We've playing shows non-stop every week for 2 or 3 years. This last year and a half has been a whirlwind. Ever since "Do If For the Money!", we've been busting our asses getting it out to the people. I can only imagine what it's going to be like when the new one come out...but until then, we're taking August slowly. Taking in what we've done in the "stu-jo", spending time at home with our lovers and such. Feels nice to be here...still broke as hell, but "chill-broke"...whatever that means....

I've been throwing around album titles in my head...What do you think of "Ballyhoo! : It's the Balls"??? Kind of a ring to it? We'll probably think of one once we get closer to finishing.

It'll be great though, you'll see...

So our friend Joey Edwards got jumped by some pussy-ass bitches a few days ago and now he's in a coma at the hospital. If you've been to the Rendezvous in Perryville in the last few years on a Thursday night, you would've have seen him there.

There will be a Benefit for his medical bills since he doesn't have insurance. If you want to help, come out to the usual Thursday show.

There will be a cover charge at the door, $5 or $10, and we will be accepting donations all night. We want to make as much money as we can, so please come out and show your support!

Yo, we're playing a couple good shows in August.

The first in Ocean City at The Paddock. It's the X106.9 Summer S hizzle with Krazy Eddie. We'll be rocking with Pasadena, Hot Box, Fat Da ddy Has Been, & The Grilled Lincolns. This is going down on Wednesday, August 22nd, expect to get hammered!

The next show will be at our beloved Grape Street in Philly. We're playing with a Phish tribute band. This one promises to be packed...A big party for before summer ends, so get your asses out there!!

We've also added a You Tube Player o the MEDIA section so you can watch all the latest Ballyhoo! footage. Feel free to upload any shots you have of the band performing to You Tube to add to the library!

New Website, Lots goin' on:::

Hey guys, lots of things going on in the Ballyhoo! camp. I've been working on this new website for a while, trying to come up with cool way to keep you informed and coming back to the site. I'll be adding and sometimes subtracting things here and there, so keep surfing around.

You may have noticed that we're only doing a couple shows in August. That's because we'll be working on our new record and haven't had a "break" in years. We're just easing up a bit to re-group and take some time for ourselves.

Our producer, Scotch, will be on the road with Slightly Stoopid, running sound for the month of August. When he gets back, we'll finishing tracking vocals and start mixing. We got a lot done in a week's time at Wrightway Studios. D did all the drums in about 2 days...nuts. Expect a lot new sounds on the album, we're excited as hell about it. Ballyhoo! is full-fledged rock band. Still doing the reggae grooves, still playing the acoustic guitars, still writing the hooks. I think you're gonna love it.
