"Taylor Swift might have to tweak her latest song lyrics from “I knew you were trouble when you walked in” to “I knew you were trouble when you climbed up my hair.”

The 23-year-old singer is starring in a Disney Parks ad, “Where a World of Adventure Awaits” as Rapunzel, one of Disney’s most beloved classic princesses. Swift joins the ranks of other starlets who have appeared in Disney Parks commercials, including Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen, Julianne Moore, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, and Olivia Wilde.

Speaking of the opportunity the singer said “When Disney came to me and said we want you to play Rapunzel, I was just so honored. It’s such a wonderful character to get to play, a childhood fantasy come into reality for me.”

As for the theme park, Swift explained it holds a special spot in her heart: “I think about all the times me and my little brother went to Disney World and we were able to escape to that place anytime we had a hard time. Cate Blanchett would play Watson's evil stepmother.

Fairy tale adaptations were all the rage after Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" exploded at the box office in 2010 (the film earned over $1 billion worldwide), but the recent adaptations have been hit and miss. Released last summer, "Snow White and the Huntsman" was a big success (nearly $400 million in global ticket sales), but other films like "Mirror Mirror" (based on Snow White) and "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" have failed to connect. Watson has kept very busy since playing Hermione in the "Harry Potter" franchise. Lauren Oliver's DELIRIUM TV Show Finds Its HANA!?!?

"So You Think You Can Dance champ-turned-Bunheads actress Jeanine Mason has joined Fox’s forbidden love drama pilot Delirium, TVLine has learned.

Penned by executive producer Karyn Usher (Prison Break), Delirium is based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling young adult novels about an alternate present where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a surgical procedure dubbed The Cure.

The rub: Young Lena Holoway — played by Emma Roberts — does the unthinkable and falls for a cop (Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Daren Kagasoff) with 95 days to go until her treatment.

Mason will play Lena’s BFF Hana.

The cast also includes The Closer‘s Corey Reynolds and The Killing’s Billy Campbell." tvline.com

THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW Heading To Fox TV!!?

"Salmon Fishing in the Yemen star Tom Mison has joined the cast of Fox's upcoming "Sleepy Hollow" series. From Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Transformers, Star Trek), "Sleepy Hollow" will feature Mison in the leading role of Ichabod Crane and will follow his adventures as he travels from the past to present day Sleepy Hollow. There, he finds himself accused of murder.

Mison joins Orlando Jones (Evolution) as Lieutenant Frank Williams, a present-day police officer and and Katia Winter ("Dexter") as Crane's wife in the 18th century.

Based on the now-classic 1820 Washington Irving short story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow," the pilot episode will be directed by Brad Anderson (The Machinist) (Len Wiseman was previously attached) and written by Kurtzman and Orci alongside Phillip Iscove.

"The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" has been adapted for film and television as far back as 1922. It last hit the big screen with Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow in 1999 and the small screen with "The Hollow," an ABC Family telefilm that also brought the plot to present day." Courtesy Comingsoon.net

"The Secret Life of the American Teenager's Daren Kagasoff has landed the male lead opposite Emma Roberts in the network's adaptation of the books by Lauren Oliver, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The books depict a world in which love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway (Roberts) does the unthinkable: she falls in love.
Kagasoff will play Alex, the object of Lena's affections. He's a uniformed police officer who on the surface appears tough, smug and a rigid enforcer of the government's rules. Underneath, he's a man with a secret agenda: He's a member of an anti-government group led by Lawrence Tack, one that is infiltrating the most oppressive elements of society while hiding the fact that he still has a mind of his own. A vehement opponent of the government's plan to eradicate love, Alex finds himself intensely attracted to Lena. To explore a future together, he must protect her from receiving the government's curative procedure and convert her to his cause.

Prison Break's Karyn Usher will pen the pilot and executive produce the 20th Television entry alongside Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope, Paul Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan. The Killing's Billy Campbell will play Thomas Fineman, a conservative political leader who opposed the social chaos caused by "delria" and supports the use of brain modification that prevents citizens from falling in love.

VERY much disliked Secret Life and though I imagined Alex younger, this is a really good choice!

I can see him portraying Alex in a very real way that will be both strong and sensitive.

Casting is turning out well!

I hope the show will be good.

NBC New TV Series [ALICE IN] WONDERLAND!! Evil Alice??!

"I’ve learned that NBC has pushed Wonderland, its drama pilot set in the world of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland that is executive produced by CSI creator Anthony Zuiker. The project, written by feature scribe Whit Anderson, will not be produced within the regular pilot season because of the scale and complexity of the production, including visual effects. I hear the pilot probably will start filming before the end of pilot season but will likely not be delivered before summer. Wonderland was a late pickup — it was greenlighted on Jan. 29 — and had to undergo a studio switch after ABC Studios pulled out and Universal TV took over. (The pilot’s high price tag was among ABC Studios’ reasons to bail as it is producing another expensive fairytale drama series with elaborate shoots and special effects, ABC’s Once Upon A Time.) Speaking of Once Upon A Time, it too was a late order — it was picked up to pilot on Feb. 1, 2011 and was ready for the upfronts, landing a slot of ABC’s fall schedule.

Wonderland is set in modern times and centers on Alice and a new character, Clara. Seven years ago, Clara’s life took an unexplained turn for the worse, and a mysterious stranger tells her there may be an explanation after all… an explanation that lies in the fantastical world of Wonderland. Hmmm.

I am not sure about this.

Hopefully it will be good, but it sounds like that if it were to be done right, the world would be a lot of CGI and if you watch Once, you know how that looks....

Hm.

If it happens, I hope it looks awesome and is actually good!
