Living The Dream

How Bungie Killed Halo.

2011-06-19T17:16:00.000-07:00

As everyone knows Halo: Reach was a massive failure. It took everything bad from halo 2 and 3, then put it into one game. It took away the beloved battle-riffle and replaced it with some piece of shit called a DMR. The reticle is just retarded, I'll leave it at that.

Halo 3 was a game where high ranks were harder to achive and if you sucked you can rank down. This was the best and most fair ranking system. Sure Halo: Reach's ranking system made boosting and deranking pointless, but they also took the fun from it.

I hope the remake of Combat Evolved isn't at all like reach. Other wise come November, I will be buying MW3.

To end on a positive note, the campagian was still pretty good in reach.

Android Vs. iPhone

2011-04-05T14:55:00.000-07:00

This is probably going to start a flame war between apple fan boys and everyone else, so getting to the point, I think Android is better. "Why?" - I'll tell you why. If you play by the rules, injoy restrictions, and are a HUGE faggot. iPhone is for you - But for everyone else, Android.

I have had both the iPhone 3G, and the Galaxy S. I would choose the galaxy any day over the iPhone, for many reasons. Here are some.

Apps

Anyone can make an app for android, and google even have an easy to use online tool for it, what do Apple have?

Apple have a restricting app store that only approved apps can get into. Then, they charge the developer a percentage to sell their app!

Music

Android lets you get your music anywhere and be able to play it, use it as a ring tone, or send it to your mates (I'm Australian) with blue-tooth. It also have apps to download music, for free. (So I have heard)

Apple, you have to buy separate ring tones and no sharing! Unless you delete everything from that iPhone and sync it with another computer. Android let you use it with as many computers as you please, and you can even use it for media storage.

Conclusion

Apple and Android both have the pros and cons, but for me. Its Android all the way. You can always jailbreak your iPhone and make it work like it should. It will void your warranty though.

What do you think? Apple or Android?

Building My PC

2011-04-05T04:36:00.000-07:00

So for my birthday, I decided to save up so I could build myself a real computer.
I am VERY happy with the results and so I though I should share it. First of all here is a picture of it complete.

All up this computer cost about $700 and every cent is worth it. This computer is good enough for Chuck Norris himself to use.

The case its self cost just $189 from PC Case Gear, shipped in just 3 days too! Now it only cost $112!! http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=14023

The motherboard is an ASUS M4A78T-E here's a pretty picture of its specifics just below.

This is defiantly of the best motherboards I have ever ran too. Came with everything on a disc which installed by its self.

For RAM I went with the 3 sticks of 2GB Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3T1K3/6GX DDR3 RAM, Looks just as sexy as it runs. If anyone is thinking about RAM defiantly consider this!

Processor. For the processor I choose AMD. I got the AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, came with thermal paste already applied to the CPU fan, made my life A LOT easier.

The power supply is a CoolerMaster eXtreme Power Plus 500W which only cost me $62. Its perfect. Lastly I just bought some pretty Cold Catholine Blue UV lights to make everything inside look a lot prettier.

At the moment I am saving up for some new HDD's and A graphics card. Any Suggestions?
