It has been a rocky road these last few months, but I must admit that I have loved every minute of it!! Thank God! I am now 6 months pregnant and every moment of my pregnancy has been a blessing because I haven't been sick at all. Although, about a week or so ago, my BP shot up to 160/100 but it has come down tremendously and I am very thankful for that. No Preeclampsia as of now...Whew!<br /> <br /> New beginnings mean new blessings...I recieve all that is in store for me, my baby, and my baby's father. God has been amazing in everything that has taken place in my life in the last 8 months. He has mended friendships, my relationship has been better than ever, family has become stronger, and last but certainly not least, I am here to tell you all about it! &nbsp;And being that I am here, I hope to be able to share every minute with you ...<br /> <br /> The woes of being plus size preggers and a blogger, for me, is that there are no cutesy maternity clothes at all!!!! <b>(Screaming) &nbsp;Top heavy, wide hips, and now added "The Baby Bump"...LOL!! &nbsp;</b>I am still pushing myself these days, but it's hard when you just want to lounge every free minute I am allowed...But &nbsp;I am gearing up a few things around here that I hope will satisfy my Curvy Southerner readers. This Sip-N-Shop was an event to introduce some of our local black women that are in business. There were 6 different vendors at this event and I was honored to be one of them. I have been using MAC for years and I just decided here lately that I want to share with you those same drugstore products that can give you that same flawless look. Oh my, where did the year go???? It has flown by so quick, and I am just thankful to be here and blog about it to you all...<br /> <br /> Any who, I am trying my darnest to get better about doing outfit posts. This post is titled Sloss Furnace because this is a location that I journeyed to after church to take my pictures. The location was suggested by my new again and sometime "photographer" boyfriend. My Boo is so impatient when it comes to taking my blog photos, but I think he's starting to soften up since he is now off most weekends, Yay for me!!! Birmingham, AL is historical for a great deal of things bad and good. This particular location is historic for it's iron and steel production back in the late 1800s. Everything at this location had most of it's originality and a tour that takes you throughout the entire facility. The architectural aspect of it seems to be an amazing focal point for me. We didn't do a guided tour because it was just the two of us and the nicest part is that it is FREE to the public.
