Internet usage App for your desktop Windows

2016-06-13T03:03:00.001+05:00

Hey ppl , today i am gonna bring you a very nice app which measures your internet usage , i have been using this since windows 8 but later due to some bugs it crashes , but now its compatible for Windows 10.

The only thing missing in this is ,there is no long history saved , i think up to 4 months usage is shown and the usage is not detailed by application formats like if the bandwidth was gone to video or just webpages.

Give a try ? And leave a comment

Akon & priyanka chopra peforms in Maldives 8 January 2015

2015-01-09T18:10:00.004+05:00

The Maldives had a spectacular event on 8 january 2015 to celebrate the arrival of 1.4 million tourists from around the world. Also 2015 is the year of Maldives 50th independence . The government of maldives has many events to celebrate the country's achievements .

Last night we had Akon performed with about 10 000 fans . unfortunately about 6000 more fans were outside the stadium ,unable to join the crowd due to space constraints . The government had tightened the secuirity , due to a recent threat to Sean pauls ariival set to perform in Maldives which the artist cancelled last minute which was very worrying for the fans expecting him.

Maldives is fmaous for its luxury top of the class leading hotels and room Villas in the Planet . Many celebrities visit each year to the sandy beaches and private island.

Akon and Priyanka chopra has also given green light to an interest in having a property in the Country which has more than 900 Islands which spans to more than 400 KM in the Indian Ocean. This maybe a good choice for Hip hop star Akon to bring a good project related to this country which investors might show interest. Akon is currently founding a project in Africa to light the villages which he aims to touch all parts of africa.

On the other hand Miss World 2000 is trying to bring more Bollywood big names by the request of Minister of Tourism Mr. Adheeb ( first picture right side wearing a white shirt ).

Maldives Capital city and airport and hulhumale equipped with 4G networks

2014-10-27T19:33:00.003+05:00

The Maldives major 2 mobile company s has launched their 4G network commercially..
One of the first to launch was Ooredoo Maldives which has been in the Maldives telecommunications market since 2005.
The Long standing company Dhiraagu has given the answer to the Qatar company by launching their 4G network for postpaid users and is targeted for Greater Male City for now by both companies.

As you know making a 4G as a normal standard throughout the whole country is a very big task.

Ooredoo currently is trialing LTE A , which will enhance the company s 4G network to a mind blowing 300Mbps download speed.

Currently both the company capacity for commercial use is up to 100Mbps download speed.

What you have to look for when buying Mobile phones for 4G experience.

Both the networks support 1800MHz LTE Band 3 on your phone for 4G in Maldives .

i have included some ads from both companys .Take a look.

Getting ready for El clasico La liga match -watch soccer online in maldives

2014-10-25T21:05:00.001+05:00

It seems like i had to find an online solution to watch the match wherever i am due to my busy schedule . And i found out that Star Sports had the Rights to broadcast its content in Maldives region too.
So i signed up their Live stream which took few minutes to sign up and paid off 16 USD which can be watched until 2015 February . i can watch Live matches and replay them back later from Serie A , La liga , and premier league.

Note : You will need Atleast 4 Mbps Download speed on #Dhiraagu connection .
Since the Video bitrate is about 2 Mbps .And it will be ok 3Mbps .Since the video comes from india .Seems like they need to bump a much high resolution for online stream for UHD TV. it would be great . And there is few times where video stuttering .May be they need to increase the FPS.
. This maybe due to the Video technology they use .It is nearly impossible to deliver 100 % smooth video stream .even YouTube wasnt able to do on their Youtube Music Awards and other live events.
As you can see the squad names can be made visible whenever you want . its pretty neat interface.

Dhiraagu introduces new VDSL Packages

2014-04-18T15:06:00.000+05:00

This package is currently available to selected areas in Male City in Maldives. This maybe the response to Ooredoo Maldives 4G packages they have introduced. This package is based on VDSL technology and using Copper lines which Dhiraagu has laid decades ago. The government needs to revise the Telecom policy of the country to achieve the 2020 Vision . Since 1997 Internet Literacy in Maldives has not grown as expected. The Government and telecom Company are to be blamed.

OCZ SSD file transfer from Freecom Toughdrive benchmark

2014-04-18T14:50:00.000+05:00

As You can see the transfer speed would be much higher. The Test bed i am trying right now has some bottlenecks due to Sata 2 and connecting Toughdrive from USB 2.0 Port .The OCZ vertex 3 shows consistency in writing the file .

Roughly 33.6 MB/s is 298 Mbps .
