Ya'll remember when "The Source" was the Hip Hop Bible and was the ultimate go to for everything, everyone that was Hip Hop. Known and unknown. You remember when they had "The Unsigned Hype". I used to want to be featured in that section when I was rapping back in the day. Cause I KNEW if I did, Everyone would search me out and give me my props and hopefully go to the next level.

This is what this is for me. I don't know this emcee from Adam but he was entertaining enough for me to go through the whole video. I mean, he pulled a beat switch up AND the video was pretty dope. Nothing over the top but original.

Here's another Fan film for you guys. This time around it's a Dragon Ball Z fan made film. I gotta admit...This is pretty good....

On the real? Ya'll should've made sure the hair coloring was on fleek and we may have had a crave-able film like "Kung Fury".

The special effects are mixed in and to my surprise...There's no script...all narration...But all in all, it's pretty dope. Better than that piece of crap movie ya'll had the nerve to pawn off to the public a few years back. We all knew it could have been better than that, and here these guys, out of nowhere, beat you to it....sigh... Anyhow, it's a good 28 minutes long, so grab your popcorn and Twizzlers.

Ayeeee....the T'cha is back like he never left. America that is. You know Kris has been beating the pavement overseas for a LOOOONG time. It's been a minute since he's made his rounds here in the States. I think the last time I heard him on tap was a few years ago back in 2007 with "Classic" ft Kanye, Rakim & Nas. Don't get me wrong, he's been on tracks and doing shows and staying busy, but as for hearing him on the radio and folks bigging up his last single. It's been a minute...I believe this is the first Single from his new album he's dropping called "Now Hear This!" and who KNOWS when that'll be dropping. Looking for artwork on the project and not finding it, isn't a strong indicator that it'll be dropping SOON.

Even though he's one of the "Legends/Pioneers" of Rap, in today's atmosphere? I think KRS-One doesn't get the visibility like he used to. And the hits....it's like all the producers were like "Oh shit here comes KRS One again, asking for free beats cause he's the Teacher" I kid, but on the real. If he had some of the production that's out today for some of his projects, I think his relevancy in today's might increase. But that's just my weird judgement. It's nice to hear him rant again after all these years, I guess.

Fan Made films are starting to get better and better these days. Which helps me with my "I wish this book/comic were a movie/show" cravings.

I could have done with less "Head in the Helmet" shots a la "Iron Man" but when you got filters to use, might as well make 'em pop right?

All in all this was a decent short film.

At first I was like "IDK" and after watching the trailer, I'm STILL like "IDK". It could be that it's a Spike Lee joint or that it has mad A-listers in it for me to take it seriously. It may be the fact that it's aesthetic sounds and feels like "Bamboozled", I don't know, man.

At certain points it the plot peaks my interests then the further I get into it the more I'm like "Meh". I thinks it's because it's Spike Lee. Sometimes he can grate my nerves. But there are times where he get's it right. So, like I said...IDK..

If and when I decide to check it out, I'll let you know. If you get to it BEFORE me, let ME know if I should waste my time or nah.

I don't know why Erykah's version of this song sounds doper than when Drake did it. I didn't like it at first and then it grew on me and I accepted that Drake had a nice joint that reminded me of when an Ex of mine cheated on me and I recognize the signs of it till this day. Aww man...this is definitely a must have for those who collect Hip Hop documentaries like "Scratch", "The Show", "Beef" and dare I say "Style Wars". I don't know where else you can find this right now other than Vimeo's On Demand service for the low price of $12.99, but trust me, once I find a copy, I'm coppin' that copy then I'm droppin' it on you.

If you think you are knowledgeable about rap but don't know who Stretch and Bobbito is, then you fakin' in the game. It was always a dream I've mine and many other rappers of that time, to make it to their show back in the day. Even though it was a bit of a raggity studio they were working out of, it had all the authenticity needed for the top acts that wanted to be famous got their shine on the show as well as their cred.

I don't know any other show, other than "The Wake Up Show w/Sway and Tech", that kept it as real as they did when dropping only the hottest bars and beats available. I know XM radio is where we go to now for the search of Authenticity in Rap, but we all don't have the money for a subscription for the house AND the car to be keeping up with them on that level.

Well I know I don't.

I've liked Lil Dicky for awhile now and it's good to see Snoop on a track with him. And to be honest he kept it as 100 as he could've. So, I can't be mad at that. If you got flow you got flow, right? And so far he's the only one that's brought the funny into the game, at a time where we need to remember what laughter is.

I was a little concerned at first and it took me a second before jumping in and watching it. Once I started though, I stuck through the whole thing. I may have to give the whole album a listen.

I miss the original Cory Gunz, when he was banging out bars like a A.R. clip. When you had to rewind the song thrice, in order to catch all the hot metaphors he was dropping. The hunger was strong with him before signing to Young Money. After blazing the "Milli" single you never heard after Wayne was done (The radio likes to fade to commercial before Gunz even gets to rattlin' on the song). It's like they moved him back to the store room and moved up all the Drake and Nikki products to the front.

Ever since then, he's hasn't been the same. His rapid fire flow slowed to a minimum. Even though his Bars are still Nitro, he seems to sound real lazy with a little "Fuck it" mixed in. I think he slowed it down due to execs telling him that was the move to make for the "Fans"...but rapid is what got him in the door. Maybe he should've just signed to Nick Canon.

Every chance I get, though, I make sure I check out him out on every song he's released on. Not all the songs he's made since then makes it to the HHA dinner table, though and it's not because the songs aren't hot....well, I ain't gonna lie Craig, that's PART of the reason. He hasn't hit me like he used to and I think it may just be me looking for something that isn't there anymore.

Idk, but all that aside....I like this joint he did the Gorilla Nems. It's also a good pairing of emcee's on the same track, which doesn't always happen. It's not deemed a classic yet, but there's replay value here, people. That's good for something right?
