There are different resources to help you find the right online business model. There are thousands of ways to make money online. I have written about some of these ways several times, but people still come around and ask me the same question. Let me summarize all that i've posted and discussed before, thus:
1. You can sell goods and services on the internet. If you're interested in this line of business, send your request so as not to duplicate post and let me follow you up on the best way to maximize your online revenue through online business in goods and services.
2. Promote other people's products for a commission. There are several producers looking for means of capturing a specific market, but do not have anyone to market it. You can sign-up and start earning commission for every sales you pass through.
3. Generate advertising revenue. This is another common mean of generating income on the internet. If you own a website, all you simply have to do is to place target ads on your site. Just a click on the ads generate money for you. So simple, but it needs your dedication and time.
4. Become a professional blogger. Blogging is the latest and easiest means of getting your thought across to the world and make money also. For details about blogging for money, read some of my previous posts.
5. And Many more which i can't elaborate here.

30 Traffic Generation Tips
1. Keep track of blogs and leave comments on them. A good way to keep the conversation going is to install a MyBlogLog widget and visit the blog of people visiting your site.
2. Nothing creates long-term traffic more than value. Consider writing posts with resources or explaining how things work. Useful things get linked to and they get onto del.icio.us, which is far better long-term than a digg front page.
3. Inform search engines and aggregators like Technorati (using the ping functionality) when your blog is updated, this should ensure maximum traffic coming from those sources.
4. Simplify. Pay attention to complex issues in your field of work. It may be a big long publication that is hard to wade through or a concept that is hard to grasp. Reference it and make a shorter “for dummies” version with your own lessons learned and relevant tips. When doing this, I have been surprised to find that the simplified post will appear before the more complex version in search results. Perhaps this is why it results in increased traffic; people looking for more help or clarification on the subject will land on your blog.
5. Try to be polemic. I write obsessively about all-things political from the left-wing perspective in the form of humorous, sarcastic one-liners.
6. A simple tip that will probably boost your page views: install a translators plug-in. I decided to use a paid plugin for this, but if I am not wrong there are some free ones as well. The translation is not very good, as you can imagine, but it helps to attract readers that are not fluent in English.
7. Submit articles to blog carnivals www.blogcarnival.com that are related to your niche. Your article almost always gets posted, and it must generate a handful of visitors, at least.
8. Newsgroups. I always see a spike when I post a review to a newsgroup.
9. Create a new design for your website. Not only will it be more attractive to your regular readers, but you can submit it to some CSS gallery showcase sites that feature great designs. This will give you exposure on those sites while generating a lot of traffic and backlinks from those types of sites.
10. Participate in conversations on related blogs. Start conversations on your own blog. Don’t just post about a story and leave it at that, engage your audience, ask questions and call to action.
11. Comment on blogs, write useful content and make good friends on forums.
12. You must be active to generate traffic. I post comments on other blogs that are related to mine, and I post my site link in my signature at the forums. Spread the word about your blog and it will certainly attract readers.
13. Just browse around MyBlogLog.com and you will surely get visitors to your blog. Also try to join as many communities as possible that are related to your topic.
14. A great tip for generating traffic is off-line by including your url in all your off-line liturature from business cards, letterheads, pamphlets, adverts through in-store signage if applicable. I even have my blog title on my car.
15. Read lots of other blogs. Leave trackbacks. Make sure your blog is optimized for search engines. Leverage social bookmarking sites like digg (both for new ideas and for traffic).
16. Leave comments on other blogs. If you’re already reading them, it takes
just a couple of seconds to leave a message agreeing or disagreeing
with the author, you get to leave a link to your site, and you will almost
ALWAYS get traffic from your comments.
17. Post 3-5 times a day. Use ping services like pingomatic or set up wordpress to ping some of the ping services. Engage your readers. Put up polls, ask them questions, give them quizes, free tools, etc. Make them want to come back and tell their friends about you.
18. Community. It’s one word but it is the most important one when it comes to blogging. The only “blog metric” that makes sense is the vibrant community of readers it has. Building a community around your blog will bring you increased traffic, but how do you start? The boilerplate response to building traffic is always “SEO, social networking sites, and commenting on blogs” but it can be simplified to “be part of a community”. The easiest way to seed your blog is with an already existing community. But the only way to do that is to be part of the community yourself.
19. Squidoo Lenses are a good way to generate traffic. By using a lense,
you can generate your own custom “community” of webpages, including some
of the more popular pages in your “neighborhood.” Including your own
webpage in such a list is a good way of generating traffic.
20. I’ve had good success writing articles and submitting them to EzineArticles. Articles that have been written from well-researched keyword phrases and accepted by EzineArticles tend to rank very high in Google for that search term. Placing anchor text in the footer of those articles so the reader can visit my relevant website has always increased my site traffic.
21. I came upon some unexpected traffic when my blog popped up on some css design portals like www.cssmania.com and www.webcreme.com. If you can put some time into the concept behind and design for your blog, I’d recommend submitting your site to a design portal not only for additional traffic but to build an additional community around your site.
22. I’ve recently gotten involved with several “MySpace-like” community sites that focus on my target audience. I share my thoughts in their forums, post intros to my real blog on their system blog and I’ve even created a group for my specific niche. It’s been very, very successful for me.
23. Well, obviously everyone knows that social bookmarking sites like Digg, del.icio.us, etc. bring lots of traffic. But I’m now submitting some of my articles to blogg-buzz.com (a digg like site for bloggers), and I always get not a bad traffic from there.
24. Participate in Yahoo Answers and LinkedIn Answers where you can demonstrate your expertise, get associated with relevant keywords and put your URL out there.
25. Be the first to write a post about the ‘Top Ten Blogs’ in your niche. The post will rank highly in any general search for blogs in your niche and other bloggers in your niche write about the post and link to it.
26. Participating in forums is a great way to get loyal readers. Either link baiting people in your signature or posting great advice and tips will give you high quality traffic, which will result in return visitors.
27. A simple trick I’ve used to increase traffic to my blog is participate in group writing projects. In fact, that’s what I’m doing right now.
28. Don’t forget your archives. I just posted a roundup of all interviews I did over the past seven months. One of them generated a new link and a big traffic spike from a group of users that look like they will be loyal readers now.
29. Write something controversial. I don’t think it’s good to write something controversial just for the purpose of getting traffic necessarily (especially if it’s only for that purpose and you’re being disingenuous), but it works.
30. Find the best blogs on your niche and contact the authors. Introduce yourself and send a link of your blog. This might help them to discover your blog, read it and possibly link to it.

NIGERIA VISION 2015

I was browsing through the net when i come accross this:

Imagine a Nigeria where:
1. There is light 24 hours of a day, 7 days of a week and 365 days of a year, and if by any chance the light has to go off, there is prior notice and apologies is sent as well and wont be off more than few minutes.
2. The roads are great and there no more a death traps.
3. Medical institutions are top of te lines.
4. Security is great, and you could just park your car and wont have to pray and fast that the ride wont be stolen.
5. There is safe and drinkable water at every home
6. There are affordable houses and home for 80% of the populations, because it is not possible to have 100% of the populations.
7. Affordable education for more than just few.
8. Unemployment rate of less than 10%
9. Fair distribution of the national wealth.
10. Good facility for growth and start up of a business

What and what can we all do to make this happen?

IS THIS ATTAINABLE IN NIGERIA, EVEN IN ANY AFRICAN COUNTRY?

PART 1

I walk down the long dark narrow corridor of the prison, with my heart in my throat. I could hear the beating of my heart, rocking so hard like it wants to pop out of its hollow cavity. I have phobia for darkness, so I hate my country for putting me through this fear every night. The same fear is what I feel now, but added to it are the ferocious eyes that peep from the mini cells. They study me in silence, nodding their head like “Oh, this is good for breakfast!”

Like a prey being watch by its predator, I walk down gently as silence engulfs the whole prison corridor. It rules the night with the distance light giving little hope.
Where I am coming from I do not know, neither where I am going. My legs, arms and whole body are cold and I could feel no blood in my system, but fear. I try being a man to control this irrational fear, but a step from behind puzzle me. The step moves closer and closer, yet I couldn’t turn to check what or who it is.

“Be strong” I said to myself then I stop abruptly. By my left is an inmate starring at me from his cage, looking frail and sick like an AIDS patient. His looks get me more puzzles. He shakes his head in pity and it dawn on me that am a walking corpse meant to be slaughtered.

Alas, the steps get even closer. I get motionless, stiff and scare to the bone. Suddenly, the step cease directly behind me. The heavy breathing of whatever is standing behind me sinks my courage. Only cowards die twice, I rather die once than not to know what it is.

Fast and furious, I turn around, but a flash of light is all I could remember. My legs hold my body no more. My eyes go dim. Faces of inmate bending over me in their white prisoners’ uniform fade away gently as I collapse to the floor and pass out.

PART 2

I woke up with a start, scared at what my eyes could not see. Not because it’s dark here but too bright. A big bright light is shown down on me that I could hardly see the faces bending over me. This must be heaven, I thought. Angelic faces beaming down at me in their spotless white robe. Oh! I don’t want to come here yet! I cry silently with a dry voice.

My eyes catch a blue and red pen hang on one the pretty ladies breast pocket and a small cap-like object on their head. Then I realize they could be nurses and not angels, though so pretty with a reassuring smile spread across their faces. I concluded am in a hospital.
Blur vision. Tight lips. I search for words, but could not find any. Whatever that had hit me, must have hit me really bad that my head hurt and heavy like am carrying an elephant.

I have to leave here as fast as possible, I said to myself. Then I try to raise my hands, but the stitches and drip won’t let me. I manage to say a word like where am I?”But the headache won’t let me. I manage to raise my legs, but the POP won’t let me Then, I manage raising my head, but the bandage won’t let me. All I could do is to stare. Stare like a zombie lost in a desert.

Close to my bed side, one of the ladies in white raises something up which I could hardly see. Some seconds later she’s over me, injecting it into my left hand. I close my eyes in pain and gently I go, back to wherever I had been before.

10 Money Resolution for 2007

Have you been having problem with your budget in 2006, why not follow this great tips for your 2007 money resolution.
1. I will write down my goals.

2. I will reduce my spending.
Whatever your level of spending, small cuts can collectively lead to huge savings over time. Aim to become a financially savvy shopper - avoid impulse purchases and ask yourself: "Do i need it,or i merely want it?"
3. I will use a spending plan.
Do not base your finance on whims, rather be deliberate about how much you will spend on any item, and when.
4. I will pay myself first.
The reality is that the salary you work so hard for each month goes to several interested parties-only one of whom is yourself. the others are the landlord,the grocery shops,entertainment spots,mobile phones companies,your children schools and your family.You have to pay yourself first by setting aside a portion to savings before you spend a dine.
5. I will write a Will.
We cannot predit the future,but we can ensure that our dependant are taken care of in the event of our sudden death. So create a will and secure your spouse.
6. I will not simply chase income but grow wealth.
You should know by now that any increase in income will definitely lead to an increase in spending. Plan to grow wealth and not income. However, wealth is not created by what you earn, but by what you keep!
7. I will reduce my debt.

10. I will give away some of my money.
Giving your money away is a sure way of enriching yourself spiritually, taming your greed and grounding you. Remember it is not money itself that make you happy, but what you do with it. However, your level of charity should be proportionate to your income and do not try to be a lavish giver.

Taking these and other things into consideration, i bet you 2007 would be the best year for you.
