The beaches are gorgeous and there is every type of water sport imaginable. They also have great golfing, horseback riding, plus many open air markets where you can find many items at great prices. There is an international bazaar and straw market located in Freeport. There is also Parrot Jungle’s Garden of the Groves and nature tours. Wonderful coral reefs surround several of the islands. Palace is one of the icons of Medan, North Sumatra, is located in the village of Talbot, Maimun Medan district.
Designed by Italian architect and built by the Sultan of Deli, Ma'mun Al Rashid Perkasa Alamsyah in 1888, palace has an area of 2772 m2 and 30 rooms.
Palace became a tourist destination not only because of old age, but also the unique interior design, combining elements of the cultural heritage of Malays, with Islamic style, Spain, India and Italy, but unfortunately condition was less taken care of now. Sumatra (also spelled Sumatera) is located in Indonesia, is the sixth largest island in the world, with an area of 443,065.8 km2. Residents of this island of about 42.40951 million inhabitants (2000). The island is also known by another name ie percha Island, Newcastle, or Suwarnadwipa (Sanskrit, meaning "island of gold").
