RE: BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

I wish to formally acknowledge your letter dated December 2, 2013 and other previous correspondence similar to it.

You will recall that all the letters were brought to me by hand. Although both of us discussed some of the issues in those letters, I had not, before now, seen the need for any formal reply since, to me, they contained advice from a former President to a serving President. Obviously, you felt differently because in your last letter, you complained about my not acknowledging or replying your previous letters.

It is with the greatest possible reluctance that I now write this reply. I am most uneasy about embarking on this unprecedented and unconventional form of open communication between me and a former leader of our country because I know that there are more acceptable and dignified means of doing so.

But I feel obliged to reply your letter for a number of reasons: one, you formally requested for a reply and not sending you one will be interpreted as ignoring a former President.

Secondly, Nigerians know the role you have played in my political life and given the unfortunate tone of your letter, clearly, the grapes have gone sour. Therefore, my side of the story also needs to be told.

The third reason why I must reply you in writing is that your letter is clearly a threat to national security as it may deliberately or inadvertently set the stage for subversion.

The fourth reason for this reply is that you raised very weighty issues, and since the letter has been made public, Nigerians are expressing legitimate concerns. A response from me therefore, becomes very necessary.

The fifth reason is that this letter may appear in biographies and other books which political commentators on Nigeria’s contemporary politics may write. It is only proper for such publications to include my comments on the issues raised in your letter.

Sixthly, you are very unique in terms of the governance of this country. You were a military Head of State for three years and eight months, and an elected President for eight years. That means you have been the Head of Government of Nigeria for about twelve years. This must have, presumably, exposed you to a lot of information. Thus when you make a statement, there is the tendency for people to take it seriously.

The seventh reason is that the timing of your letter coincided with other vicious releases. The Speaker of the House of Representatives spoke of my “body language” encouraging corruption. A letter written to me by the CBN Governor alleging that NNPC, within a period of 19 months did not remit the sum of USD49.8 billion to the federation account, was also deliberately leaked to the public.

The eighth reason is that it appears that your letter was designed to incite Nigerians from other geopolitical zones against me and also calculated to promote ethnic disharmony. Worse still, your letter was designed to instigate members of our Party, the PDP, against me.

The ninth reason is that your letter conveys to me the feeling that landmines have been laid for me. Therefore, Nigerians need to have my response to the issues raised before the mines explode.

The tenth and final reason why my reply is inevitable is that you have written similar letters and made public comments in reference to all former Presidents and Heads of Government starting from Alhaji Shehu Shagari and these have instigated different actions and reactions. The purpose and direction of your letter is distinctly ominous, and before it is too late, my clarifications on the issues need to be placed on record.

Let me now comment on the issues you raised. In commenting I wish to crave your indulgence to compare what is happening now to what took place before. This, I believe, will enable Nigerians see things in better perspective because we must know where we are coming from so as to appreciate where we now are, and to allow us clearly map out where we are going.

You raised concerns about the security situation in the country. I assure you that I am fully aware of the responsibility of government for ensuring the security of the lives and property of citizens. My Administration is working assiduously to overcome current national security challenges, the seeds of which were sown under previous administrations. There have been some setbacks; but certainly there have also been great successes in our efforts to overcome terrorism and insurgency.

Those who continue to down-play our successes in this regard, amongst whom you must now be numbered, appear to have conveniently forgotten the depths to which security in our country had plunged before now.

At a stage, almost the entire North-East of Nigeria was under siege by insurgents. Bombings of churches and public buildings in the North and the federal capital became an almost weekly occurrence. Our entire national security apparatus seemed nonplussed and unable to come to grips with the new threat posed by the berthing of terrorism on our shores.

But my administration has since brought that very unacceptable situation under significant control. We have overhauled our entire national security architecture, improved intelligence gathering, training, funding, logistical support to our armed forces and security agencies, and security collaboration with friendly countries with very visible and positive results.

The scope and impact of terrorist operations have been significantly reduced and efforts are underway to restore full normalcy to the most affected North Eastern region and initiate a post-crisis development agenda, including a special intervention programme to boost the region’s socio-economic progress.

In doing all this, we have kept our doors open for dialogue with the insurgents and their supporters through efforts such as the work of the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and the Peaceful Resolution of the Security Challenges in the North-East. You also know that the Governor of Borno State provided the items you mentioned to me as carrots. Having done all this and more, it is interesting that you still accuse me of not acting on your hardly original recommendation that the carrot and stick option be deployed to solve the Boko Haram problem.

Your suggestion that we are pursuing a “war against violence without understanding the root causes of the violence and applying solutions to deal with all the underlying factors” is definitely misplaced because from the onset of this administration, we have been implementing a multifaceted strategy against militancy, insurgency and terrorism that includes poverty alleviation, economic development, education and social reforms.

Even though basic education is the constitutional responsibility of States, my administration has, as part of its efforts to address ignorance and poor education which have been identified as two of the factors responsible for making some of our youth easily available for use as cannon fodder by insurgents and terrorists, committed huge funds to the provision of modern basic education schools for the Almajiri in several Northern States. The Federal Government under my leadership has also set up nine additional universities in the Northern States and three in the Southern States in keeping with my belief that proper education is the surest way of emancipating and empowering our people.

More uncharitable persons may even see a touch of sanctimoniousness in your new belief in the carrot and stick approach to overcoming militancy and insurgency. You have always referred to how you hit Odi in Bayelsa State to curb militancy in the Niger Delta. If the invasion of Odi by the Army was the stick, I did not see the corresponding carrot. I was the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State then, and as I have always told you, the invasion of Odi did not solve any militancy problem but, to some extent, escalated it. If it had solved it, late President Yar’Adua would not have had to come up with the amnesty program. And while some elements of the problem may still be there, in general, the situation is reasonably better.

In terms of general insecurity in the country and particularly the crisis in the Niger Delta, 2007 was one of the worst periods in our history. You will recall three incidents that happened in 2007 which seemed to have been orchestrated to achieve sinister objectives. Here in Abuja, a petrol tanker loaded with explosives was to be rammed into the INEC building. But luckily for the country, an electric pole stopped the tanker from hitting the INEC building. It is clear that this incident was meant to exploit the general sense of insecurity in the nation at the time to achieve the aim of stopping the 2007 elections. It is instructive that you, on a number of occasions, alluded to this fact.

When that incident failed, an armed group invaded Yenagoa one evening with the intent to assassinate me. Luckily for me, they could not. They again attacked and bombed my country home on a night when I was expected in the village. Fortunately, as God would have it, I did not make the trip.

I recall that immediately after both incidents, I got calls expressing the concern of Abuja. But Baba, you know that despite the apparent concern of Abuja, no single arrest was ever made. I was then the Governor of Bayelsa State and the PDP Vice-Presidential candidate. The security people ordinarily should have unraveled the assassination attempt on me.

You also raised the issues of kidnapping, piracy and armed robbery. These are issues all Nigerians, including me are very concerned about. While we will continue to do our utmost best to reduce all forms of criminality to the barest minimum in our country, it is just as well to remind you that the first major case of kidnapping for ransom took place around 2006. And the Boko Haram crisis dates back to 2002. Goodluck Jonathan was not the President of the country then. Also, armed robbery started in this country immediately after the civil war and since then, it has been a problem to all succeeding governments. For a former Head of Government, who should know better, to present these problems as if they were creations of the Jonathan Administration is most uncharitable.

Having said that, let me remind you of some of the things we have done to curb violent crime in the country. We have reorganized the Nigerian Police Force and appointed a more dynamic leadership to oversee its affairs. We have also improved its manpower levels as well as funding, training and logistical support.

We have also increased the surveillance capabilities of the Police and provided its air-wing with thrice the number of helicopters it had before the inception of the present administration. The National Civil Defence and Security Corps has been armed to make it a much more effective ally of the police and other security agencies in the war against violent crime. At both domestic and international levels, we are doing everything possible to curb the proliferation of the small arms and light weapons with which armed robberies, kidnappings and piracy are perpetrated. We have also enhanced security at our borders to curb cross-border crimes.

We are aggressively addressing the challenge of crude oil theft in collaboration with the state Governors. In addition, the Federal Government has engaged the British and US governments for their support in the tracking of the proceeds from the purchase of stolen crude. Similarly, a regional Gulf of Guinea security strategy has been initiated to curb crude oil theft and piracy.

Perhaps the most invidious accusation in your letter is the allegation that I have placed over one thousand Nigerians on a political watch list, and that I am training snipers and other militia to assassinate people. Baba, I don’t know where you got that from but you do me grave injustice in not only lending credence to such baseless rumours, but also publicizing it. You mentioned God seventeen times in your letter. Can you as a Christian hold the Bible and say that you truly believe this allegation?

The allegation of training snipers to assassinate political opponents is particularly incomprehensible to me. Since I started my political career as a Deputy Governor, I have never been associated with any form of political violence. I have been a President for over three years now, with a lot of challenges and opposition mainly from the high and mighty. There have certainly been cases of political assassination since the advent of our Fourth Republic, but as you well know, none of them occurred under my leadership.

Regarding the over one thousand people you say are on a political watch list, I urge you to kindly tell Nigerians who they are and what agencies of government are “watching” them. Your allegation that I am using security operatives to harass people is also baseless. Nigerians are waiting for your evidence of proof. That was an accusation made against previous administrations, including yours, but it is certainly not my style and will never be. Again, if you insist on the spurious claim that some of your relatives and friends are being harassed, I urge you to name them and tell Nigerians what agencies of my administration are harassing them.

I also find it difficult to believe that you will accuse me of assisting murderers, or assigning a presidential delegation to welcome a murderer. This is a most unconscionable and untrue allegation. It is incumbent on me to remind you that I am fully conscious of the dictates of my responsibilities to God and our dear nation. It is my hope that devious elements will not take advantage of your baseless allegation to engage in brazen and wanton assassination of high profile politicians as before, hiding under the alibi your “open letter” has provided for them.

Nevertheless, I have directed the security agencies and requested the National Human Rights Commission to carry out a thorough investigation of these criminal allegations and make their findings public.

That corruption is an issue in Nigeria is indisputable. It has been with us for many years. You will recall that your kinsman, the renowned afro-beat maestro, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti famously sang about it during your first stint as Head of State. Sonny Okosun also sang about corruption. And as you may recall, a number of Army Generals were to be retired because of corruption before the Dimka coup. Also, the late General Murtala Mohammed himself wanted to retire some top people in his cabinet on corruption-related issues before he was assassinated. Even in this Fourth Republic, the Siemens and Halliburton scandals are well known.

The seed of corruption in this country was planted a long time ago, but we are doing all that we can to drastically reduce its debilitating effects on national development and progress. I have been strengthening the institutions established to fight corruption. I will not shield any government official or private individual involved in corruption, but I must follow due process in all that I do. And whenever clear cases of corruption or fraud have been established, my administration has always taken prompt action in keeping with the dictates of extant laws and procedures. You cannot claim to be unaware of the fact that several highly placed persons in our country, including sons of some of our party leaders are currently facing trial for their involvement in the celebrated subsidy scam affair. I can hardly be blamed if the wheels of justice still grind very slowly in our country, but we are doing our best to support and encourage the judiciary to quicken the pace of adjudication in cases of corruption.

Baba, I am amazed that with all the knowledge garnered from your many years at the highest level of governance in our country, you could still believe the spurious allegation contained in a letter written to me by the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and surreptitiously obtained by you, alleging that USD49.8 billion, a sum equal to our entire national budget for two years, is “unaccounted for” by the NNPC. Since, as President, you also served for many years as Minister of Petroleum Resources, you very well know the workings of the corporation. It is therefore intriguing that you have made such an assertion. You made a lot of insinuations about oil theft, shady dealings at the NNPC and the NNPC not remitting the full proceeds of oil sales to the of CBN. Now that the main source of the allegations which you rehashed has publicly stated that he was “misconstrued”, perhaps you will find it in your heart to apologize for misleading unwary Nigerians and impugning the integrity of my administration on that score.

Your claim of “Atlantic Oil loading about 130, 000 barrels sold by Shell and managed on behalf of NPDC with no sale proceeds paid into the NPDC account” is also disjointed and baseless because no such arrangement as you described exists between Atlantic Oil and the Nigeria Petroleum Development Company. NPDC currently produces about 138, 000 barrels of oil per day from over 7 producing assets. The Crude Oil Marketing Division (COMD) of the NNPC markets all of this production on behalf of NPDC with proceeds paid into NPDC account.

I am really shocked that with all avenues open to you as a former Head of State for the verification of any information you have received about state affairs, you chose to go public with allegations of “high corruption” without offering a shred of supporting evidence. One of your political “sons” similarly alleged recently that he told me of a minister who received a bribe of $250 Million from an oil company and I did nothing about it. He may have been playing from a shared script, but we have not heard from him again since he was challenged to name the minister involved and provide the evidence to back his claim. I urge you, in the same vein, to furnish me with the names, facts and figures of a single verifiable case of the “high corruption” which you say stinks all around my administration and see whether the corrective action you advocate does not follow promptly. And while you are at it, you may also wish to tell Nigerians the true story of questionable waivers of signature bonuses between 2000 and 2007.

While, by the Grace of God Almighty, I am the first President from a minority group, I am never unmindful of the fact that I was elected leader of the whole of Nigeria and I have always acted in the best interest of all Nigerians. You referred to the divisive actions and inflammatory utterances of some individuals from the South-South and asserted that I have done nothing to call them to order or distance myself from their ethnic chauvinism. Again that is very untrue. I am as committed to the unity of this country as any patriot can be and I have publicly declared on many occasions that no person who threatens other Nigerians or parts of the country is acting on my behalf.

It is very regrettable that in your letter, you seem to place sole responsibility for the ongoing intrigues and tensions in the PDP at my doorstep, and going on from that position, you direct all your appeals for a resolution at me. Baba, let us all be truthful to ourselves, God and posterity. At the heart of all the current troubles in our party and the larger polity is the unbridled jostling and positioning for personal or group advantage ahead of the 2015 general elections. The“bitterness, anger, mistrust, fear and deep suspicion” you wrote about all flow from this singular factor.

It is indeed very unfortunate that the seeming crisis in the party was instigated by a few senior members of the party, including you. But, as leader of the party, I will continue to do my best to unite it so that we can move forward with strength and unity of purpose. The PDP has always recovered from previous crises with renewed vigour and vitality. I am very optimistic that that will be the case again this time. The PDP will overcome any temporary setback, remain a strong party and even grow stronger.

Instigating people to cause problems and disaffection within the party is something that you are certainly familiar with. You will recall that founding fathers of the Party were frustrated out of the Party at a time. Late Chief Sunday Awoniyi was pushed out, Late Chief Solomon Lar left and later came back, Chief Audu Ogbeh and Chief Tom Ikimi also left. Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo left and later came back. In 2005/2006, link-men were sent to take over party structures from PDP Governors in an unveiled attempt to undermine the state governors. In spite of that, the Governors did not leave the Party because nobody instigated and encouraged them to do so.

The charge that I was involved in anti-party activities in governorship elections in Edo, Ondo, Lagos, and Anambra States is also very unfortunate. I relate with all Governors irrespective of political party affiliation but I have not worked against the interest of the PDP. What I have not done is to influence the electoral process to favour our Party. You were definitely never so inclined, since you openly boasted in your letter of how you supported Alhaji Shehu Shagari against Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Nnamdi Azikiwe and others in the 1979 presidential elections while serving as a military Head of State. You and I clearly differ in this regard, because as the President of Nigeria, I believe it is my duty and responsibility to create a level playing field for all parties and all candidates.

Recalling how the PDP lost in states where we were very strong in 2003 and 2007 such as Edo, Ondo, Imo, Bauchi, Anambra, and Borno, longstanding members of our great party with good memory will also consider the charge of anti-party activities you made against me as misdirected and hugely hypocritical. It certainly was not Goodluck Jonathan’s “personal ambition or selfish interest” that caused the PDP to lose the governorship of Ogun State and all its senatorial seats in the last general elections.

You quoted me as saying that I have not told anybody that I will seek another term in office in 2015. You and your ambitious acolytes within the party have clearly decided to act on your conclusion that “only a fool will believe that statement” and embark on a virulent campaign to harass me out of an undeclared candidature for the 2015 presidential elections so as to pave the way for a successor anointed by you.

You will recall that you serially advised me that we should refrain from discussing the 2015 general elections for now so as not to distract elected public officials from urgent task of governance. While you have apparently moved away from that position, I am still of the considered opinion that it would have been best for us to do all that is necessary to refrain from heating up the polity at this time. Accordingly, I have already informed Nigerians that I will only speak on whether or not I will seek a second term when it is time for such declarations. Your claims about discussions I had with you, Governor Gabriel Suswam and others are wrong, but in keeping with my declared stance, I will reserve further comments until the appropriate time.

Your allegation that I asked half a dozen African Presidents to speak to you about my alleged ambition for 2015, is also untrue. I have never requested any African President to discuss with you on my behalf. In our discussion, I mentioned to you that four Presidents told me that they were concerned about the political situation in Nigeria and intended to talk to you about it. So far, only three of them have confirmed to me that they have had any discussion with you. If I made such a request, why would I deny it?

The issue of Buruji Kashamu is one of those lies that should not be associated with a former President. The allegation that I am imposing Kashamu on the South-West is most unfortunate and regrettable. I do not even impose Party officials in my home state of Bayelsa and there is no zone in this country where I have imposed officials. So why would I do so in the South West? Baba, in the light of Buruji’s detailed public response to your “open letter”, it will be charitable for you to render an apology to Nigerians and I.

On the issue of investors being scared to come to Nigeria, economic dormancy, and stagnation, I will just refer you to FDI statistics from 2000 to 2013. Within the last three years, Nigeria has emerged as the preferred destination for investments in Africa, driven by successful government policies to attract foreign investors. For the second year running, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Investments (UNCTAD) has ranked Nigeria as the number one destination for investments in Africa, and as having the fourth highest returns in the world.

Today, Nigeria is holding 18 percent of all foreign investments in Africa and 60 percent of all foreign investments in the ECOWAS Sub-Region. Kindly note also that in the seven years between 2000 and 2007 when you were President, Nigeria attracted a total of $24.9 Billion in FDI. As a result of our efforts which you disparage, the country has seen an FDI inflow of $25.7 Billion in just three years which is more than double the FDI that has gone to the second highest African destination. We have also maintained an annual national economic growth rate of close to seven per cent since the inception of this administration. What then, is the justification for your allegation of scared investors and economic dormancy?

Although it was not emphasized in your letter of December 2, 2013, you also conveyed, in previous correspondence, the impression that you were ignorant of the very notable achievements of my administration in the area of foreign relations. It is on record that under my leadership, Nigeria has played a key role in resolving the conflicts in Niger, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Guinea Bissau and others.

The unproductive rivalry that existed between Nigeria and some ECOWAS countries has also been ended under my watch and Nigeria now has better relations with all the ECOWAS countries. At the African Union, we now have a Commissioner at the AU Commission after being without one for so long. We were in the United Nations Security Council for the 2010/2011 Session and we have been voted in again for the 2014/2015 Session. From independence to 2010, we were in the U.N. Security Council only three times but from 2010 to 2015, we will be there two times.

This did not happen by chance. My Administration worked hard for it and we continue to maintain the best possible relations with all centres of global political and economic power. I find it hard therefore, to believe your assertions of untoward concern in the international community over the state of governance in Nigeria

With respect to the Brass and Olokola LNG projects, you may have forgotten that though you started these projects, Final Investment Decisions were never reached. For your information, NNPC has not withdrawn from either the Olokola or the Brass LNG projects.

On the Rivers State Water Project, you were misled by your informant. The Federal Government under my watch has never directed or instructed the Africa Development Bank to put on hold any project to be executed in Rivers state or any other State within the Federation. The Rivers Water Project was not originally in the borrowing plan but it was included in April 2013 and appraised in May. Negotiations are ongoing with the AfDB. I have no doubt that you are familiar with the entire process that prefaces the signing of a Subsidiary Loan Agreement as in this instance.

Let me assure you and all Nigerians that I do not engage in negative political actions and will never, as President, oppress the people of a State or deprive them of much needed public services as a result of political disagreement

I have noted your comments on the proposed National Conference. Contrary to the insinuation in your letter, the proposed conference is aimed at bringing Nigerians together to resolve contentious national issues in a formal setting. This is a sure way of promoting greater national consensus and unity, and not a recipe for “disunity, confusion and chaos” as you alleged in your letter.

Having twice held the high office of President, Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I trust that you will understand that I cannot possibly find the time to offer a line-by-line response to all the accusations and allegations made in your letter while dealing with other pressing demands of office and more urgent affairs of state.

I have tried, however, to respond to only the most serious of the charges which question my sincerity, personal honour, and commitment to the oath which I have sworn, to always uphold and protect the interests of all Nigerians, and promote their well-being.

In closing, let me state that you have done me grave injustice with your public letter in which you wrongfully accused me of deceit, deception, dishonesty, incompetence, clannishness, divisiveness and insincerity, amongst other ills.

I have not, myself, ever claimed to be all-knowing or infallible, but I have never taken Nigeria or Nigerians for granted as you implied, and I will continue to do my utmost to steer our ship of state towards the brighter future to which we all aspire.

Please accept the assurances of my highest consideration and warm regards.

Who is fooling and lying to the Nigerian public between Femi Fani-Kayode and Bianca Ojukwu? Few weeks back, a magazine had quoted Bianca Ojukwu as saying that the relationship between she and Fani-Kayode was not meant to be, that's why they broke up.

But now Bianca is claiming, through her lawyers, that she don't know who Fani-Kayode is and has never dated him before, either openly or secretly. She has threatened to sue him.

In his reaction to Bianca's "denial", Fani-Kayode said:

He sympathises with her delicate situation and once again he expresses his regrets about the fact that he expose their once sweet love affair in his harmless write up. But what he can't understand is why his former lover will be denying ever knowing him. He just can't understand!

Consequently, Fani-Kayode has instructed his own lawyers to meet Bianca's lawyers in court if they so wish to take the matter that far, after he has said 'sorry' for revealing their affair.

I hear Fani-Kayode has proof that he had ‘a long-standing and intimate relationship’ with Bianca. Lolz!

A referee who fatally stabbed an amateur player over his
refusal to leave the field was decapitated by a mob and police has
arrested one man after the incident in northern Brazil.

According eyewitnesses, referee Octavio da Silva, 20, stabbed player
Josenir dos Santos, 30, on June 30 after dos Santos refused to heed his
order to leave.

A mob then turned on da Silva, killing him before severing his head in the remote town of Pio XII, named after a former pope.

Relatives of slain referee da Silva reacted to the incident said they
are sad and appalled because nothing can be done because none of his
relative was present at the scene of the incident.

“We feel revolted to have something like this so terrible happen here,”

According to local police, Luis Moraes de Sousa, 27, was arrested on
July 2 and police in the regional headquarters of Santa Ines are
continuing to investigate the incident.

Sousa told reporters about the incident.

“I left soon from there and didn’t stay there (scene of alleged
crime), you understand? I got information that my brother cut him a
little with a sickle and another guy put a knife into his throat,” Sousa
said.

Police said they were searching for two more suspects who they named as Francisco Edson Moraes de Sousa and Josimar de Sousa.

Brazil has made significant strides in lowering homicide rates in
recent years, as millions were lifted from poverty, but it faces
mounting pressures to show it is a safe place for tourists before 12
Brazilian cities host the 2014 soccer World Cup and Rio de Janeiro the
Olympic Games in 2016.

In Rio de Janeiro on the day of the brawl, Brazil’s national team
handily defeated Spain in the Confederations Cup, considered a test run
for next year’s much bigger championship.

The eight-team tournament was marked by an unexpected wave of
demonstrations, some violent, in part to protest the $14 billion being
spent on World Cup preparations amid a lack of adequate public services.

Marriage, sweet little people, is not for the purpose of your happiness. Happy as I want you to be and hope you will be, you must yet understand that marriage is God’s design and His purposes must be pursued in order for you to be truly happy. His end is holiness and He will use all things in a life devoted to Him to fulfill that end.

To my girls:
After that, he is not hard to please. Admire him, cheer him on and show gratitude, and he will fall over himself trying to please you. Smile often, speak well of him always, and do whatever necessary to try and maintain a pleasant mood about you so that it transfers to your home, making it a place where he and your children love to be.
Above all else, make a home.

To my boys:
After that, she may be hard to please only if you don’t know “the secret”. What is that? I’m glad you asked. The secret to pleasing your wife is to make her feel safe and treasured. You may have to move out of your comfort zone to do this at times. She won’t always readily translate the oil change to love, though it means that. But let me give you a “secret question”–a question you need to ask her often.

It’s not just in the asking, though. Be sure to focus your eyes on hers, maybe even touch her shoulder or face, and then ask: “What’s on your mind these days? “ And then be ready to listen. She wants you to draw her out. She will perceive this as your protection over the matters of her heart. Tenderness, listening, protection. That’s what she wants.

To you all:
If your wife or husband does something really stupid, forgive. If they do it again, forgive again. Forgiveness must be the propelling force in your lives each day. Dwell on the strengths, push out thoughts of their weaknesses. Take every thought captive–choose to love.

Here’s that part you are not going to hear often:
If you find yourself “not happy”, having lost attraction, disinterested, etc., you are not permitted to even think about a divorce. If you find yourselves arguing more and more, don’t think for a minute that “the children will be better off out of this”, because they won’t.

The vows you took on your wedding day were not suggestions. They were covenant vows, before a Holy God, family and friends, to stay with this person the rest of your life, even if you don’t feel like it. You swore a solemn oath and if you can’t live up to it, don’t get married. Decide up front that your marriage is irrevocable. There is far more motivation for getting along if your “marriage house” has no door.

Do not share intimate thoughts or feelings with anyone of the opposite sex. Do not find yourself alone for any length of time with such either.

Divorce is not a “private option”. It will affect multiple families for many generations. When you “separate what God has joined” you permanently injure far more than just yourself.

Guard your marriage as fiercely as you would guard your own life. Treat your spouse as an extension of your flesh, just as God sees you. Treat your spouse like other family members. You know, “you gotta love ‘em, they’re the only family you’ve got”.
A recent survey estimated that 15 to 20 per cent of couples have sexless relationships - defined by experts as making love fewer than ten times a year - while around 5 per cent go without altogether.

Actress Helen Mirren spoke for many of these couples earlier this year when she said: ‘I think the power of partnership in marriage is under-recognised in our society. That’s what makes marriages work, not sex.’

In a sex-obsessed society, where everyone - young, old, male and female - seems to be boasting of how many times a week they ‘do it’, it may come as a relief to many that couples like Charlotte and Chris are happy to admit that sex plays no part in their marriages at all.

Most couples who find themselves at a point where sexual intimacy has died tend to confide their predicament to no one at all. A former minister for aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the yet-to-be registered All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former minister’s move is contained in a message on his social media page, wherein he stated that he had abandoned the PDP for the APC after a meeting with the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Kayode Fayemi in Ado-Ekiti.

Fani-Kayode’s decision followed speculation that became rife for some weeks regarding his impending move to the new party where sources believe he would contest the Osun East senatorial seat at theforthcoming general elections.

He was sighted lately with top echelon of the APC and has been a strong critic of the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

According to the Ile-Ife born politician who served the government of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in various capacities before completing the tenure with him as the aviation minister, he hassucceeded in bidding the PDP bye.

In the post of his facebook wall, he said he attended a book launch of a friend in the state and decided to meet the state governor after which he arrived at the decision.

“I was at the Afe Babalola University to chair the book launch of my old friend, Dr Bunmie Aborishade this morning. I had a meeting with Govenor Kayode Fayemi afterwards and I have just publically and formally declared for the APC. For me this is a great and historic day. Goodbye forever PDP,” he wrote.

As the 2015 general election, there will surely be more krikata krikata dances like this that will make even Saka go yellow with palor!

Some things just don't add up when it comes to the Woolwich killings. There are certainly more questions than answers. Let us examine the facts. An off-duty British soldier by the name of Lee Rigby was walking down the street in the charming and peaceful London suburb of Woolwich. All of a sudden, and out of the blue, he was randomly selected and run over by a car which was being driven by two young black men. After they hit him to the ground with the car the two young men jumped out of it, armed with matchetes, knives, a rusty old pistol and a meat cleaver, and in a deep and uncontrollable frenzy amidst shouts of ''Allahu Akbar'', proceeded to take his precious life by carving him up, mutilating him, butchering him and beheading him in full public glare. This all happened barely 100 metres away from Rigby's Army Barracks home. The attack began at 2.30 pm whilst the soldier gave up the ghost at approximately 3.00pm on a four-point inter-section roundabout and crossroads.

Immediately after finishing their gruesome act the killers then conducted their own impromptu press conference, brandishing knives and meat cleavers in blood-soaked hands, with random members of the public asking to be filmed and qouted whilst their clothes were soaked, drenched and dripping in human blood. After their ''presss conference'' ended they moved to the other side of the road and calmly waited for the police to arrive. They had all the time in the world to do so but they plainly refused to run and attempt to avoid arrest or the imminent arrival of the police. According to eye-witnesses (and I watched the footage on CNN) the police took no less than 30 minutes to get to the scene and confront the two killers. They did NOT get there in the 9 minutes that they are claiming.

When the police eventually arrived instead of surrendering peacefully to them or attempting to run away, the two young men charged at them brandishing their knives and meat cleaver in a menacing way and attempting to shoot their old and rusty pistol. Unfortunately for them the pistol exploded in the hand of the individual that tried to use it. They were both promptly shot, wounded and disarmed. Yet before the police arrived another rather curious incident took place. A strange yet very courageous Scandanavian woman, who just happened to be sitting on a bus that was driving past, told the bus driver to stop when she saw the carnage that was being inflicted on the dying soldier, got off the bus and calmly walked over to the killers even as they were still killing him. She then proceeeded to have a detailed conversation with them asking them why they were doing what they were doing and assuring them that in the end they would lose the fight because it was ''just them against many''.

Is this not a rather curious encounter? Who really was that Scandanavian lady and who does she really work for? Is she a genuine hero or is she what, in security and intelligence circles, is known as a controller? Is she part of the system because to do what she did took immense courage? So many questions still need to be asked and answered. For example why did the police take so long before responding? Why were the killers given all the time in the world to conduct a graphic, loud and unofficial press conference in the streets with members of the public after beheading and carving up the young soldier?

Even more curiously the police and intelligence agencies have now admitted that these two young men were "known to them". If that were the case how come they were never put under close surveillance, monitored, questioned or arrested? Why did all this have to take place at exactly 3.00pm in the afternoon, at that location (a crossroads of four junctions) and on that date? Why did the assailants have to cut off their victims head, hang around there for thirty minutes whilst ranting and whilst soaked and covered in their victims blood? Why did the killers insist that only women could come near the dying body of their victim? Why was this whole thing allowed to happen and to drag on like it did for 30 uninterrupted minutes by the authorities? Why did the police refuse to move in even though numerous members of the public were having detailed conversations with the assailants?

Was this whole thing some kind of state-sponsored illuminati-style human sacrifice? Was it designed and orchestrated by the authorities to create more terror in the land and to give them the opportunity to introduce more draconian laws, curb immigration and do away with even more civil liberties on the grounds that they wish to fight the very terror that they themselves created. Are we not being fooled again by the ''powers that be'' and the state just as we were over ''9-11'' and over the murder of Princess Diana, both of which were clearly inside jobs with strong illuminatti connections . If anyone doubts this assertion they ought to do themselves a favour and find the time to watch David Icke's revealing docuementry titled ''9/11-It Was An Inside Job''. It is on youtube. They can also find his numerous books and watch his numerous docuementries on the murder of Princess Diana. Their world view will change dramatically after that. Back to Woolwich.

Are there not clear parallels between the Woolwich incident and the Boston bombings which took place just a few weeks ago. Are there not similarities in the profiles of the two sets of killers in both incidents. Both operations were conducted in full public glare and in the afternoon. Both operations were carried out by two Americans and two British citizens respectively each of them with a foreign heritage and family ties with nations that are rife with and that are being torn apart by islamist terror. In the case of the Boston bombers the two perpetrators had strong links and family ties with Dagestan and Checnya in the case of the Woolwich incident both perpetrators had equally strong links and family ties with Nigeria. Both sets of killers were muslim fundamentalists and both sets were ''known to the intelligence agencies'' of their respective countries. Both countries in which the murders took place, i.e. Great Britain and the United States of America, are the greatest allies and leaders in the war against terror and they are both committed to standing ''shoulder to shoulder'' with one another in that fight. Is it not strange that similar acts of terror will take place in the two just a few weeks apart and that those acts of terror were all carried out by people with similar profiles and virtually the same age. The coincidences are just too many and things just don't add up. The performance of the British police particularly has opened up the door for a lot of speculation. They made so many mistakes. Yet I can assure you that the British police and intelligence agencies are NOT that sloppy. They are amongst the best, if not the best, in the world and they just don't make mistakes. There is far more to this whole thing than meets the eye and there is also a sinister purpose and agenda to it. The full picture has not yet been shown to us and perhaps it never will but little by little those that are well-versed in these matters will work it out and the truth will be exposed.

Yet the questions just keep coming. Is it possible that those two British boys of Nigerian descent were under some kind of ''Peter Powers''-type hypnosis and mind-control system which was triggered off by something or someone. In many of his books and videos David Icke has alluded to the usage and existence of such capabilities by the more advanced intelligence agencies in the world for the last ten years and he has cited many examples of such usage. Initially I was skeptical about his assertions until I listened and read carefully and I cross-checked the examples and the events that he cited. After that I was convinced that he was right and ever since then I have acknowledged the fact that we live in an exceptionally dangerous world where only the dullard would rule anything out. Back to the two young men that killed in Woolwich. Were they cultivated, ''programmed'' and used by agents of the illuminati in the British establishment to carry out this gruesome operation and this monstrous sacrifice? It is relevant and interesting to note that the two suspects were not just British citizens of Nigerian descent but that they were both muslim CONVERTS. That is to say they were both brought up as christians and then somewhere along the line they converted not just to islam but to it's most extreeme and radical brand. They became dangerous islamists that were prepared to kill for their faith. Who cultivated them and took them to this point and how did it get so bad? More importantly will this whole episode not give the western powers and the British people another reason to demonise islam and target mosques and muslim clerics? Is that part of the plan and the wider picture? Is the whole idea to create the atmosphere for vicious reprisal attacks against muslims and Nigerians in the U.K.?

Is all that I have written here far-fetched? You may believe so but I don't. And neither have I gone mad. The devil is real and the illuminati is it's toool for world control and domination. It has been around for years and those that are part of it operate in the deepest secrecy. Yet even if you do not agree with me on anyything that I have said here, the questions that I have raised are legitimate and they are indeed food for thought. In this game there are no coincidences and everything happens for a reason and has its own sybolism and purpose. As far as I am concerned only David Icke can crack this Woolwich nut and unravel it's secrets and I look forward to the day that he does. Meanwhile I pray that thesoul of Officer Rigby rests in perfect peace and I urge every Nigerian that is resident in or that is visiting the UK, especially if they are muslims, to be exceptionally careful in their movements and in their dealings with the British people and authorities. There is FAR more to this whole thing than meets the eye and whether anyone likes to admit it or not, sadly, there will be some kind of backlash against our people at some point.

As for the two British men of Nigerian descent (whose names I refuse to mention) that cut short the life of this brave young and heroic British soldier in the prime of his life for doing absolutely nothing wrong, may they both die a slow and terrible death and may they rot in hell.
They sort of exude confidence on the job. In Britain for example, they do Policing with gun yet they apprehend any criminal. Because they have the confidence and authority.

Here in Nigeria people look away when things are going bad because no one wants to be accused! People won’t want to help accident victims for example because of the stress involved in helping, people are scared of doing the right things and scared of doing things right!

The question is what can we do to build up heroic spirits, to build up courage in our police, our teachers and even the populace at large?

Here are some excerpts gotten from the Woolwich angels as the three women are being called.

The Angels of Woolwich: How three extraordinarily brave women confronted the Islamic fanatics who butchered and tried to behead a soldier on London street - and prayed next to his mutilated body
•'Religious' woman in her 50s 'walked straight up to suspects with no fear'
•Sat next to victim in middle of the road and put her hands on his chest
•Witness: 'She saw everything and wanted to comfort him. The poor man’s head was beside her'
•Second woman talks to one killer as he wandered around with bloodied weapons and hands
•Female Cub Scout leader tells other attacker: 'Right now, it is only you versus many people. You are going to lose'
•David Cameron praises her bravery, saying: 'She speaks for us all'

In the aftermath of the brutal murder of a soldier, the remarkable courage of three women stands out. They selflessly confronted the two killers and went to the aid of the victim, praying for him and preventing further carnage.

The first heroine, described as a religious woman in her 50s, bravely approaches the attackers as they roam the streets covered in blood and demands they let her sit next to the dead man.

As she comforts him in the middle of the road, a second woman stands over her and appears to talk to one of the killers in an apparent attempt to placate him.

Meanwhile, a third lady, a Cub Scout leader, remonstrates with the other alleged murderer who rants at her: 'We want to start a war in London tonight'.

Standing firm, mother-of-two Ingrid Loyau-Kennett replies: 'Right now it is only you versus many people. You are going to lose'.
Mrs Loyau-Kennett explained the man holding the knife told her it was for 'all the bomb droppings and killings, blindly, women.'

When asked if she feared for her life she replied: 'Better me than the children.

'There were mothers with children. It was important.'
Mrs Loyau-Kennett's son said her bravery was motivated by her 'incredible maternal instinct'.

The 48-year-old was in London celebrating her son Basil Baradaran's 23rd birthday when she came across the horrific scene.

Basil, an animation graduate who lives close to the murder scene with sister Pawony, 24, said: 'Mum came up to visit for my birthday and we'd had a lovely celebration.

'I was meeting her at the train station when she walked up and started telling me had happened.

'My first thought was for her safety but I could see she was completely intact. I couldn't believe what she was telling me.
'I don't know what was going through her mind or how she found the strength to do what she did but I'm totally awestruck. I'm about as proud as a son could be.'

Mrs Loyau-Kennett, who is half-French, brought up her two children alone after their father returned to France when they were very young.

She lives in Helston, Cornwall, works as a language teacher and translator, and has recently completed a further qualification with the Open University.

Here are the facts. A soldier is beheaded barely 100 metres from his own army barracks on a four point crossroad at precisely the spot where the 4 roads meet. This happened at exactly 3.00pm in the afternoon.

The killers then conduct their own impromptu press conference, knives and meat cleavers in hand, with random members of the public whilst they were soaked and dripping in blood. After this they calmly waited for the police to arrive and they refused to run. According to eye-witnesses (and I watched the footage) the police took 30 minutes to get to the scene and confront them and not the 9 minutes that the authorities are claiming.

When the police eventually arrived instead of surrendering peacefull or attempting to run away the two young men charged at them brandishing their their knives and meat cleavers and shooting at least one pistol. They were promptly shot and wounded. Before the police arrived a rather curious incident took place. A strange yet very courageous Scandanavian woman, who just happened to be sitting on a bus that was driving past, told the bus driver to stop, got off the bus and calmly walked over to the killers.

Is she part of the system? So many questions still need to be asked and answered. Again why did the police take so long before responding? Why were the killers given all the time in the world to even conduct a graphic, loud and unofficial press conference in the streets with members of the public after beheading and carving up the young soldier?

Even more curiously the police and intelligence agencies have now admitted that these two young men were "known to them". If that were the case how come they were never put under close surveillance, monitored, questioned or arrested? Why did all this have to take place at exactly 3.00pm in the afternoon, at that location (a crossroads of four junctions) and on that date? Why did the assailants have to cut off their victims head, hang around there for thirty minutes whilst ranting and whilst soaked and covered in their victims blood? Why did the killers insist that only women could come near the dying body of their victim? Why was this whole thing allowed to happen and to drag onlike this for 30 minutes uninterrupted by the authorities? Why did the police refuse to move in even though numerous members of the public were having detailed conversations with the assailants?

Was this whole thing some kind of state-sponsored illuminati-style human sacrifice? Was it designed to create more terror in the land and give the authorities the opportunity to introduce more draconian laws, curb immigration and do away with civil liberties on the grounds that they wish to fight the very terror that they themselves created. Are we not being fooled again by the state just as we were over 9-11 which was clearly an inside job. Are there not clear parallels here with the Boston bombings and the two Boston bombers which took place just a few weeks ago. Both operations were conducted by 2 Americans and 2 British citizens respectively in full public glare. Both sets of killers were muslim fundamentalists and both sets were ''known to the intelligence agencies''.

Things just don't add uo here. And I can assure you that the British police and intelligence agencies are NOT this sloppy. There is far more to this whole thing than meets the eye and there is also a sinister purpose and agenda to it. The full picture has not yet been shown to us and perhaps it never will. Is it possible that those two boys were under some kind of Peter Powers-type hypnosis or new and sophisticated mind-control system which was triggered off by their controller or the intelligence agencies? Were they programmed and used by the the agents of the illuminati in the British authorities to carry out this gruesome operation and this sacrifice? It is relevant and interesting to note that both suspects were British citizens of Nigerian descent and they were both muslim CONVERTS. Will this whole episode not give the western powers and the British people another reason to demonise islam and target mosques and muslim clerics? Is that part of the plan and the wider picture? Is the whole idea to create the atmosphere for vicious reprisal attracks against muslims and Nigerians?

Is all that I have written here far-fetched and impossible? Possibly. But I don't think so though. Even if you do not agree with me on everything that I have said these questions have at least provided some food for thought. As far as I am concerned only David Icke can crack this one and I can't wait till he does. Meanwhile I urge every Nigerian that is resident in the UK, especially if they are muslims, to be exceptionally careful in their movements and with their dealings with the British people and the authorities. There is FAR more to this whole thing than meets the eye and whether anyone likes to admit it or not there will be some kind of backlash.

As for the two British boys of Nigerian descent that slew down and took the life of a brave young British soldier in his prime for doing absolutely nothing wrong, may they die a slow and terrible death and may they rot in hell.

Swaziland has launched a crackdown on high-flying witches after banning them from hovering above 150metres.

It has been a long time since witches were burnt at the stake in
Europe but the accusation remains a serious one in the landlocked
African country.

Anyone caught flying their broomstick above the height limit faces
arrest and a hefty R500,000 fine, the country’s Civil Aviation
Authorities said this week.

According to the Corporate Affairs Sabelo Dlamini‘A witch on a broomstick should not fly above the [150-metre] limit,’

The new aviation law was highlighted after a private investigator was
caught flying a helicopter equipped with a video camera to gather
surveillance information.

Witchcraft is taken seriously in Swaziland where many people believe in the power of black magic.

Last year a leading Swazi MP called for a hike in tax paid by witch
doctors to help ease the cash-strapped country’s financial woes.

Think Nigerians are very creative????!!!!

1. And on that day when the Super Eagles had gathered in the burning
bush against the Ethiopians of the eastern Desert, Keshi, the leader of
the delegates gave directions to the people, but they listened not.

2. And Keshi knowing what awaited him at Abuja knelt down in his heart and cried unto the heaven saying "My God, my God, please do not forsake me, give me only one chance."

3. As soon as he spoke those words, the Lord heard his cry, and the Holy
Spirit descended on the burning bush in the south of Africa where the
men had gathered and said to Moses the Son of Victor, "Moses, go yea
forth into the 18 yard box of the Ethiopians."

4. And Moses hearkened
unto the voice of the lord and ran into the 18 yard box of the
Ethiopians. and behold, a defender of the Ethiopian Army brought him
down and caused a penalty.

5. And when this had happened, Keshi knew
that the lord had heard his prayers and used Moses to cause a big scare
for the Ethiopians. So he beckoned unto Moses to open his ears to the
voice of the spirit and hid the commandments of the lord.

6. And the
spirit came unto Moses again, saying "Moses, play ye the ball into the
left corner of the Ethiopian net. And when Moses had done this, the
Eagles recorded their first goal.

7. And the spirit drove Moses into
the 18 yard box again and caused another great scare in the defense of
the Ethiopians which made the keeper of the Ethiopian army attack him
unwisely and got a red card.

8. When this had happened, the people
could see the hand of God on Moses. And Keshi knowing the way of the
spirit, said unto Moses "because the lord had used you to deliver the
people of Nigeria out of the hands of the deadly Ethiopians, you shall
go forth again and take the penalty.

9. Thus, as the lord would have
it, Moses brought down the Armies of the Ethiopians by placing the ball
beyond the reach of the make-shift goal keeper who the Ethiopians had
brought against him.

CHAPTER ONE

(1). And the king felt the pain of the people and said “I have seen the
affliction of my people which are in the kingdom of Naija, and have
heard their cry by the reason of their taskmasters; for I know their
sorrows; (because I was once in their shoes when I had no shoes to
wear), And I am come down to deliver them out of the grip of the oil
sellers ”.

(2). For this cause, there shall be supply of twenty
scores of Carmel and Donkeys to convey people from one place to another
and to annoy the effect of subsidy.

(3) I will also avenge the affliction of my people from the oil sellers.

(4) So, the king appointeed Nuru, the sone of Robadu to fish out the
bad eggs among the oil sellers and to avenge the affliction of the
people.

(5) And Nuru the son of Robadu replied and said unto
the king “Who am I that I should go unto the oil markers and avenge the
affliction of thy people? For I have seen and heard the deeds of the oil
marketers towards Farcrook and fear gripped my heart and my spirit
fainted within me. For this, I lost my speech and became a stammerer”

(6) And king Jona son of Bele said unto Nuru son Robadu “Don’t be
afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your king. The
oil marketers will do you no harm. If they ask you who sent you, tell
them that it is I the king, Jona son of Bele”

(7) And so, Nuru son of Robadu left the presence of the king and did according to the words of the king.

(8) After few days, Nuru son of Robadu came to the king with the details of the wickedness and corruption of the oil marketers.

(9) “Long live the king of Naija kingdom. These are the exhibits and
allegation I found against the oil marketers. They have sold with bad
measurement, oppressed the poor, exploited the jobless and many other
atrocities. They are fattened up like a fattened ram meant for the
slaughter. They have shed innocent blood for pursuit of wealth and have
killed the Just to cover up their evil paths”.

(10) And the
king answered and said unto him “Thou has done well my son. Submit the
allegation and findings to the Sellnate and the House of Disarragement”.
FAROUK AND ST. NUHU”. CHAPTER ONE

CHAPTER 1

(1a). The genealogies from the first generation;

Remu the son of Sanjo the Otalite in the season of great expectations
begat Usa the son of Ardua the Kastite. Usa the son of Ardua the Kastite
in the era of GREAT drought and bomb of Boko begat Jona Son of Bele.

This is the GOSPEL OF NAIJA as brought to you by divine revelation
through Abiodun the son of Oloyede the Ibadanite in the year of many
happenings.

(1b). And it came to pass after these things, on
the first day of the first month of the twelfth year after the second
millennium, that king Jona son of Bele announced to the people saying;
there is no money in the royal treasury, and the future of the kingdom
is in danger.

(2). Therefore, a measure of oil shall no longer
sell for three scores of silver and five, but shall now be seven scores
of silver and one. But the people grumbled aloud, and said unto another,
what shall it profit our king to gain all these oil money and lose his
throne?

(3). For it is appointed unto him to reign but once,
and after this, prison. For many are the atrocities which he has
committed.

(4). So they said unto the king, eat thou thy food
in peace in the palace, and surround thou thyself with thine women, only
touch not our oil price and do thy people no harm.

(5). But
the king would not listen, and said unto himself, I know my people, they
shall only grumble for a while and soon they shall forget.

(6). But the people would not forget, for the burden was too much for
them to bear, and they said; now unto him that is able to increase the
price of oil exceedingly, abundantly above all that his people can bear
or think, according to the greed which worketh in him;

(7). Unto him be curses in the streets by the masses throughout all ages, protests without end.

(8). So they took to the streets and gave the land no peace, and there
was no going out nor coming in throughout the kingdom for two weeks, and
the king feared greatly and said to himself, surely these people shall
overturn me if I answer them not.

(9). So he called the head of
the labourers unto the palace, and gave him bags of gold, that they
might turn off the wrath of the people against the king.

(10).
So the king assembled the people and said unto them; a measure of oil
shall no longer be seven scores of silver and one, but shall now be four
scores of silver, one dozen and five, to this your leaders have agreed.
Praise me now therefore for I am a benevolent king.

(11). And
after all these, the loudspeaker of the House of people said, let us
inquire into the king’s claim that there be no money in the royal
treasury. So they appointed Farcrook, son of Lawal.

(12). And
said unto him, gather ye now all the oil sellers, that we may know who
stole from the kingdom. This did him with diligence, and came back with
his report saying.

(13). Thieves abound in the land, and so
have the oil sellers stole from the people, and gave them not oil, this
they did with the help of Aliyaro the king’s mistress; and the amount he
mentioned was unheard of in the land.

(14). When the people
heard this, they were dismayed, and sorrow gripped their hearts so that
they beat their breasts in shock. Even Farcrook sayeth “We have been
lied to. Let the sun not shine if the heads of those responsible be not
cut off and fed to the birds of the air for I only in this land am
righteous”

(15). But the oil sellers went in unto the king in
his chamber, and said; rememberest thou O king that that which we stole
did we made available to thy campaign, and by thus did we make you king.

(16). If thou deliver us unto the people that they may punish us, we
will hold not our tongue to tell the people that thou art one of us.

(17) And they said unto him, how else shall we destroy the message if
not to destroy the messenger? Let us therefore implicate Farcrook the
son of Lawal in this matter.

(18). So they sent a certain rich
man from the West by the name Otedollar, and he took Farcrook into his
house and gave him some money, that he may alter the report which he had
set before the people.

(19). And it was that Otedollar that
went before an assembly of the people and said unto them, trust ye this
man who said we stole from the treasury? Surely he is one of us, for he
came unto me in the middle of the night, and left with his pockets full
of money.

(20). And the people where amazed, and their hearts bled, for Farcrook was a man in whom they had put their trust.

(21). So Farcrook arose, and said; Otedollar is my briber, I did not
request. He maketh me to sit down in his Maitama house; he leadeth me
beside the chilled champagne.

(22). He exploited me greed; he leadeth me in the paths of marked dollars for subsidy’s sake.

(23). Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of EFCC, I
will fear no arrest: for bribes are with me; my loots and kickbacks,
they comfort me.

(24). Thou prepares the dollars before me, in
the presence of the SSS: thou anointest my mouth with wine; my pocket
runneth over.

(25). Surely the shame and reproach shall follow
me all the days of my life, but I will dwell in the house of PDP forever
and ever.

(26). And the people wept, but there was no one to console them.

(27). All these happened in the time of Jona the son of Bele, in the year of the great BOMBS……..

PLEASE GO TO CHURCH BUT LOOK AROUND VERY WELL BEFORE YOU ENTER INSIDE FOR THE TIMES ARE EVIL.
People really need to be careful who they employ as domestic staff:

The police in Lagos State have arrested a 27-year-old housemaid, Mariam
Acheme, and four others for allegedly robbing the housemaid’s boss.

According to police authorities, the housemaid, invited her boyfriend,
Dansu Akokran, and another person at large to rob her boss and also
stage her own kidnap.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the
state command, Ngozi Braide, said, “On November 26, 2012, the housemaid
invited her boyfriend to her boss’ house when the madam had gone out. On
getting to the house, the boyfriend and another person ransacked the
entire house.

“They vandalised the doors and also stole all the
valuables. The housemaid then padlocked the gate from outside and fled
with them.”

It was learnt that when the owner of the house
arrived, she discovered that all her valuables were gone and Acheme was
nowhere to be found.

The victim was said to have immediately reported the matter to the Bode Thomas Police Division.

Braide said a few days later, someone contacted the housemaid’s boss
and informed her that Acheme had been kidnapped. She said the woman
returned to the police and informed them of the development.

Braide said, “The madam told the police that some men called and said
they had kidnapped the housemaid. The men asked for N5m and said if the
money was not paid, they would not release her. The housemaid spoke to
her ‘madam’ on the phone, crying and telling her that she was being
tortured by the kidnappers and urged her boss to pay the ransom
immediately.

“The Divisional Police Officer, Bode Ojajuni,
immediately swung into action. Detectives at the station were able to
establish contact with the kidnappers and urged them to collect N1m. The
kidnappers then sent a bank account number which the money should be
paid into.”

It was learnt that the account number belonged to one Prosper Tatou, a bricklayer.

Through the bank account number, policemen traced the owner to Agbara
area of Ogun State and accosted him. A police source said Tatou led the
police to the hideout of the other suspects.

He said, “Tatou
said he knew nothing about any kidnap but told us that a few days
earlier, his brother, Jean Mari, had asked him to send his bank account
number because he needed to receive some money from someone.

“Tatou then led us to a deserted building where his brother lives. At
the house, we were able to arrest those who masterminded the purported
kidnap.”

Detectives were however shocked when they saw the housemaid in the compound.

“That was when we discovered that she connived with her boyfriend to commit the crime,” the police source said.

Acheme however denied conniving with the kidnappers. She said although
she had invited her boyfriend to come and visit her when the incident
occurred, she had no clue of his intentions.

“I invited my
boyfriend (Dansu) to come and visit me at the house when my madam had
gone out. When he arrived, he came with another guy and both of them
pushed me into the toilet and locked me there. They stole all my madam’s
things and then kidnapped me,” she said.

When asked why she
did not escape from the purported kidnappers’ den when she had the
chance, she said, “I could not escape because I did not know the area.”

The PPRO seized the opportunity to warn employers of domestic servants
to be wary of the people they hire, noting that cases of crimes being
committed by domestic servants seem to be on the rise.

How are you and how is your family?
I hope everybody is fine. I picked my pen from the ocean of resentment
and fury to write this letter to you.

We were all full of joy upon
your arrival in this country last ten years, when Obasanjo told us that
you came that we might make calls and make them more abundantly. We all
left govt owned tele-companies and followed you even at the expense of
the indigenous Econnet wireless.

As days went into weeks and weeks
into months then to years, you brought out your real colours to us, you
even told us to leave GLO that is being owned by some of our corrupt
govt officials...of which some of us did.

At a time we couldn't
differentiate between you and baba Ijebu because you kept telling us to
recharge only 200naira and win recharge cards. From recharge cards you
went to mobile phones, mobile phones to electronics, electronics to 1
million, 1 million to cars, the one that annoyed us most is that you
told us to recharge only 200 Naira and win AEROPLANE, heeeiiii!!!!.

Some of your kinsmen came to our aid; Etisalat, visafone, starcomms,
rainbownet but out of your greed and jealousy you chased some of them to
extinction with promises of free credits and free browsing.

Truly,
you gave us credits and free browsing, but it was like giving us shoes
and taking away our feet...because you couldn't upgrade your server to
carry these.

NCC mandated you to stop all promos and upgrade your
systems, you heeded to the instructions but not up to a reasonable time.
You are back again with free credits and sms which we didn't ask you
of.
I and my brethren are pleading with you to suspend every promo
you have for us this year (2013) and focus more on the upgrading of your
systems.

And please help us extend this plea to your kinsmen; GLO, ETISALAT, AIRTEL.

THANKS.
@music212
