It's been two or three weeks ago since I started watching one piece and it was awesome. XD
I kinda like it more than naruto and bleach. I don't know why, but maybe it's because of the it's more funny?
Or maybe because naruto and bleach is dragging the story line, sheesh. They're all about the filler arcs, >:(

Anyway, just wanted to revive this blog with this post. XD

GANTZ Live Action!

Hiroya Oku's sci-fi action manga "GANTZ" is being adapted into two live-action films planned to be released in 2011. The movies will star Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya (26) and actor Kenichi Matsuyama (24).

Shinsuke Sato is directing the films, which have reportedly been given a budget of 4 billion yen, with lots of CG involved. It is said that producers are aiming to make the film suitable for general audiences, which means that it may likely lack the violence of the original manga.

"GANTZ" has been serialized in Young Jump since 2000. Kei Kurono (Ninomiya) and Masaru Kato (Matsuyama) are two young man who should be dead after a train accident, but they are summoned back to life by an entity known as GANTZ. Under GANTZ's orders, the two are repeatedly sent on missions to fight against alien beings. So far, 26 volumes of the manga have been released in Japan, selling more than 10 million copies combined.

Although Kei and Masaru are high school students in the manga, their characters will be older in the movie. Kei has been turned into a college student looking for work, while Masaru is already working and taking care of his younger brother. The two childhood friends happen to meet again on a subway platform.

Oku's manga is still being serialized, but the two movies will tell a complete story with an original ending.

The first movie is expected to hit theaters in winter 2011, while the second is slated for spring 2011.

Code Geass In Yu Yu Hakusho Opening theme!? LOL. I posted about
this at OneClick-Info too.

I've been paying much more attention with OneClick-Info than here. That's weird and sad, but also
good at the same time. Lol. I'm all excited when I post there, dunno why. Prolly because I also learn
whenever I post in the Anime/Manga category.

So, to make the story short, someone was so interested on seeing Code Geass characters in the Yu Yu
Hakusho Opening theme, that he/she made an amazing video! Two thumbs up!

Surely Someday Directed by Oguri Shun

Yep, you read it right, Oguri Shun's directing a movie. And it's been confirmed that Inoue Mao will be on it too! Hooray! *v* Btw, the script was written by Shogo Muto. (Crows Zero's script writer too.)

Surely Someday is about five high school students who form a band and spend all their time practicing for their school's upcoming festival. However, when the school's festival is abruptly cancelled, they came up with a strategy to fake a bomb threat to force the principal to change his mind. Three years later, further details about the incident are revealed, as the group attempt to put their lives back in order.

Thoughts on Crows Zero I and II XD

Yo! I'm done watching Crows I and II! Yay! It was really good! Although, I really don't think such a school exist. I mean Suzuran is waaay too violent. But it was all good! The punches, kicking and everything seemed real to me. I think both films have this "leadership" theme going on. Oguri Shun really deserves the Best Actor award for this.

I dunno what to say anymore, both movies were exciting and awesome! Miura Haruma doesn't have many scenes in part two, he didn't even do any stunt or something, he just kicked a guy once. But he looked hot. Lol.
I guess this sums it up, I really dun know how to write a good review, sorry. XD

Crows Zero I and II

Yo! Happy New year again!
Ever heard of Crows Zero? I've heard about it last year but I didn't have time to download it. It's basically a kick-ass, action movie. Gangs and the like. Actually, Crows Zero I was released in 2007 and Crows Zero II in 2009. It is based on the mega-hit manga, CROWs by Takashi Hiroshi. It also stars Oguri Shun!! :''> *fan-girl mode on*

Oguri Shun plays Takiya Genji, son of a Yakuza boss and then he enters Suzuran, an all-boys/violent high school. So for now, that's prolly it. I haven't seen it yet, still downloading. But it has good reviews and it grabbed the top spot at the Japanese box office , not to mention Oguri Shun winning a Best Actor award for this, so I thought I have to post it. Recommended for those action-film loving people out there. I don't really like action movies, but this is a different action film and the setting is at school. I actually don't know the difference, sorry. Anyway, I'll be back with a review after I'm done watching it.

Life Size Gundam!

This is prolly a super late post, since this event happened last July-August 2009 in Odaiba, Shiokaze Park, Japan. This was in celebration of Gundam's 30th anniversary. I'm sure Mecha enthusiasts out there know about this already, but still, I want to share these amazing photos I found on the net. Just look at that 59-foot tall Gundam! Btw, this is based from the original schematics of RX-78-2 Gundam model, made of fiberglass shell over steel frame. Sugoi! Lol.

Tokyo Dogs!

Tokyo Dogs is about Takakura Sou, who witnessed his father's murder as a child. He became an elite cop and was based at New York, where Jinno, the one who killed his father is. Due to major drug dealings at Japan, he was sent back and there, he was teamed up with Kudo Marou, an optimistic, easy-going yet short-tempered detective. Both of them are very opposite, but fortunately, they always solve cases easily.

Takakura Sou is played by Oguri Shun while Kudo Marou is played by Hiro Mizushima.

At first, I thought this was like a serious action drama, but I was sooo wrong. Lol. It's actually funny and exciting at the same time. I forgot to mention Matsunaga Yuki, the girl in the middle, played by Yoshitaka Yuriko. She's really cute. I think her role is the "key" in this drama, she lost her memories in the first episode, and is somewhat linked to the suspect, prolly Jinno. She's being targeted by criminals as well. That's why Sou and Marou were teamed up in the first place, to investigate her case and to protect her as well.

Anyway, I recommend this drama. It's really good. It's not like ordinary action dramas, this one has a sense of humor, you'll prolly laugh at each episode, especially when Sou and Marou argues. Lol. Not to mention, Oguri and Hiro's kakkoi-ness here! It's a must see!

Arashi's Sakurai Sho and Horikita Maki to star on 2010 Winter Drama entitled: Tokujo Kabachi!!

Compassionate yet meddlesome Tamura Katsuhiro (Sakurai Sho), who burns with a sense of justice, enters the admired world of notaries public to save his mother. Tamura in reality believes “law is not in the least just” but uses it as a weapon to save the weak. On the other hand, Sumiyoshi Misuzu (Horikita Maki), who used to be a delinquent youth, is a highly capable notary public. She hates to lose and dislikes men. Unable to accept Misuzu’s callous working style and nastiness, Tamura clashes with her over every little thing. At times, she yells at him but they gradually grow to understand each other, and mature as people and as lawyers.

As you have noticed, all of my posts here are about Hunter X Hunter, it's getting boring already. So I've decided to post about my ARASHI fan-girling "activities". *coughs*

It's sad that this is the first time I'll blog about them, and to think that I've been an Arashi fan-girl for such a looong time already T.T

Anyway, here are some news about them. Well just last August they did their 10th year anniversary concert celebration, which was super awesome, most especially the 5X10 song, which really captured their story and friendship, and they were the ones who composed it!

See the difference on how they looked like when they first debuted in year 1999? Lol. Too cute. Even now.

I think this year was their year, all of them had doramas, also Aiba! It's his first time to have his very own Jdorama! I'm so happy for him. *claps*

Finally! Done with Hunter X Hunter!

Yay! I finally finished watching Hunter X Hunter, including the 3 OVA's. Those sleepless nights were worth it, lol. And most of all, I've finished it today, 5am this morning! Hopefully, I'll be able to have a regular sleep from now on. ^^

I liked OVA's 1 and 2 better, the graphics were so much better and it focused on Gon and Killua's friendship and training, sweet. Tehee ^^

But the end of the Greed Island was such a cliff-hanger! Gon and Killua was able to locate Ging using the "accompany" card, but it ended right there. T-T

When I read the manga, it says that it wasn't Ging at all, but Kaito! T-T (The hunter with the long hair in the first episode.) And it was all because Ging asked the lady in-charge at the greed island that if Gon chooses Magnetic Force, then she would take him to her, but if Gon uses Accompany, he asked her to take him to Kaito instead. T-T Poor Gon. Ging is such a shy person, lol.

I hope the next season of Hunter X hunter will be much better. I'll be waiting for it, it was announced that they'll be releasing it on January 2010! Can't wait! This anime really got me hooked! ^^

Sleepless Nights??

I've been having sleepless nights due to my Hunter X Hunter fandom. I know right? It's so weird, hxh is so oldskool, but then again, it has captured my attention resulting to sleepless nights, as in literally, no sleep for 3 consecutive days already. I don't actually consider 2 to 3 hours as a sleep, it's more like a nap or siesta, whatever. Good thing I dun have school tomorrow, haha!

Still, I'm really tired. This afternoon, some of my classmates noticed I was sleepy at class, LOL. I really was, and I felt so wasted, my eye bags are getting worse. Tehee ^^

But I took some rest when I got home from school, but my head still hurts. LOL. I better have a good and normal sleep soon.

Or maybe NOT until I'm done with all the episodes, seriously, Gon and Killua makes it more interesting. ^^

LOL. I can't help but laugh ay myself for watching and downloading hunter x hunter episodes, I'm so old school. Haha! But really, I can't help it, and it even makes me even more curious since I just found out that the manga itself isn't finished yet! >.<

I feel a little pissed, I just want Gon and his father, Jin, to meet already! But, oh well.. guess all I can do is wait and wait and wait.

Geeesh.. Killua looks so damn cool! hahaha!
