Kobato Episode 3 Review

"Epic Double Facepalm" ~ Kaji-San

Hurray! It's episode 3 and Ohh mai god.. Why CLAMP?? Did you believe that was humorous? You made me double facepalm.
Episode 3 was another episode of Kobato chibis, Ioryogi forgetting, and most importanly, Kobato Burning.
I wasn't too fond of this episode but hey, new clothing? I've been quite lazy this week but here you go, Episode 3 review.

"It's raining.."

Ooo..ouch.

"That was a close one."

Then again..

Once again Kobato is burned by a mean stuffed animal. I wonder if this will become a trend for every episode to come..

This person is named Chitose Mihara, the landlady of the apartment Kobato now lives in.

Aww.. no more living like a hobo in the park.

By the way.. Guess who Kobato forgets! :3

Episode 3 overall? Same as the second. It did have some new twist.. *cough* Chii *cough* but to be honest, nothing changed. One more candy in Kobato's posession. Although you may have your opinions, this episode seemed boring. Cute but boring.

Kimi Ni Todoke Episode 2

KAWAII!~

Awwww, well this has to be one of the cutest episodes

of the season.

So, it starts off with Sawako's narrative intro (this

seems to be headed in a regular Kimi Ni Todoke episode starter)

"one good deed a day" says Sawako-chan

So, anyways, she gets to school soaking wet after leaving her umbrella as shelter for a stray dog (how cute and caring). She does her daily routine of scaring people, but nao, its past summer D: whyyyyy??????? all the good stuff happens during summer break in animes! Anyway, we find this out because some girls are gossiping about how Sawako got turned down by Kazehaya.

Kazehaya comes to school wet as well (ohhh, it turns

Sawako on XD) and he realizes "OHHH NOES!! SAWAKO DOESN'T HAVE A CHANGE OF CLOTHES!" So, being the super nice dude he always is, he

asks one of those unimportant friends of his to loan Sawako her jacket and stuffies. Sawako thanks him by leaving boxed coffee(ehh?) on his desk. He thanks Sawako and then gets penetrated by a stray flying star.......

So, they get some aloooone time after skool, and then they realize Sawako left the umbrella for the stray doggie Kazehaya was worried about.

And then the doggie becomes retarded.

So, the teacher seems to be constipated and the class has new seating arrangements (ohhh the anticipation)

So, Kazehaya decides to sit next to Sawako despite everyone wanting to sit by him and no one wanting to sit by her.

Ohhhh he played that one smooth.

And then Yano follows kazehaya's lead.

And then the other gi-waaaaaaait.......PWNED!

She gets owned by this ninja who likes the window seat. Then he eats Sawako's cookies. So, that means he's a hungry ninja =D

Looks like Yoshida will have to settle for second place.

Sawako had a great day! (and Mr. Ninja is sleeping. I think I like this dude XD)

So, my impression on episode 2? LOVED IT! I couldn't believe it, but it actually was better than the first. The romance between Sawako and Kazehaya seems to be developing on episode 2 already. I have a feeling this kawaii mood isnt going to last long. Those girls at the end of the episode might try to steal Kazehaya from Sawako, ohh noes! I guess, we'll have to wait for episode 3 to find out =)

Episode 2 Review

Yeah! Another episode of chibi/cute Kobato! Ohh god but Kobato had it tough this episode :( Damn Ioryogi.. stuffed doggy. Although Kobato is a little dumb, lay off the torching just a tincy bit.

Episode 2 begins.. guess what happens?

Of course..

Wait.. happens a few moments after the opening theme?

Oh god..

Well other than the chibi burning, we have Kobato trying to "Help" scarred people in order to collect their scarred shards. Interesting but knowing Kobato, it isn't as easy as it looks.

Damn kids..

The first people Kobato tries to help are these kids, but in the end, Kobato is empty handed.

"Ehh? Where's mai shard? I helped those damn kids for nothing???"

"Oh well thats okay! I'll just try harder..?!"

No she doesn't say that of course.

Tissues anyone!?

While Kobato tries to pass around a box of tissues, she bumps into Kiyokazu! YAY

Kobato notices Kiyokazu was the dude who saved her in episode 1 so she ends up following him to a nursery and this happens..

It's just Kobato's unlucky day today huh?

Although she does meet Sayaka which agrees to allow Kobato to help out at the nursery.

Who could resist?

While working guess who she meets!

HURRAY!

Although throughout this episode, Kiyokazu seems to have a distaste for Kobato. *sad face* Maybe Kobato with her addicting cuteness will get to Kiyokazu :D

Forgetting something Kobato?

Oh yeah.. Well somewhere in this whole mess, Kobato seemed to have misplaced her bag and Ioryogi.. We all know whats gonna happen next..

Strike 3?

Anyways.. after helping out the the nursery and scoldings from Ioryogi, Kobato bumps into one of the kids at the nursery in the park. He is depressed because the other mothers of the other kids believes his mother doesn't care for him. The kid knows his mother just has alot of work.

Kobato being Kobato goes and cheers him up and we have HUGS! I wish I was him just about now.. Kaji Seconds this =)

After this scene Kobato gets a surprise!
CANDY! As they call it in the show.

You also win 100 Points!

Hehe..

Overall Kobato episode 2 was as enjoyable as the first, well maybe a little less. Ioryogi was cool as ever, the chibi burnings I did not mind to be honest. Although Kiyokazu acts cool, he could be alittle nicer.. But thats expected since we are given hints people think lowly of them. Lets see if some love chemistry begins in episode 3 :D

Episode 1 Review

Kobato is CLAMP's newest release and ohhh maaii god.. She is just so cute >.< Especially those Chibi moments.. Kobato is totally going to my top list XD.

So the girl's name is Kobato Hanato who has come down to Earth on a mission to make her wish come true. In order to accomplish this, she must help others in need. And.. in order to do that she needs a bottle.

All we know is her origin is unknown and she is a pure and innocent girl trying to "Find the place she belongs."

Well it's obvious. Kobato doesn't know what the heck she is doing. But thats okay because she is cute a whatever she does.

There he is! Kiyokazu Fujimoto is his name and he is another of the main characters in Kobato.

Other than making the tastiest yet nasty looking nabe ever, atleast she can do one thing right.. sing.

In the end, Kobato fails but then passes her test and gains a very cute bottle. HURRAY!

The first episode of Kobato was definately one of my favorites this week. I'm totally gonna be hooked on this. MOAR KOBATO :D

Fairy Tail - Great ready for another Soul Eater awesomeness..

Episode 1 Review

I had totally forgotten about this show yet it was one of those animes I was looking forward to. Fairy Tail is from the same makers of Soul Eater which is quite obvious from the animation. I must say though, it did not fail to impress me.

Fairy Tail starts off with this girl, Lucy Heartfilia. Ignore those subtitles *lol*.

Lucy is a wizard aiming to become a part of a guild called Fairy Tail.

During her trek through a fishing city she comes across a fake Salamander (Fire wizard) using charms to gather the women within the city. She too is enchanted.

BLUSH!

But here comes Natsu Dragneel to the rescue!

Sorta.. but his appearance allows Lucy to break away from the charm.

Lucy repays him with lunch.. a lot of lunch. Natsu explains he was looking for a Salamander and he heard rumors of one in this city, but of course he was mistakened.

After wards though, Lucy is tricked into believing the fake Salamander was apart of Fairy Tail and gladly accepts his invintation to attend his party.

Then DATE RAPE..Jk but it does end up to be a trap.

But thats okay because it's Natsu to the rescue again!

Natsu ends up being a real Salamander and totally owns the fake guy. He also ends up to be a part of Fairy Tail.

Well thats self explanatory.

In the end, Lucy follows Natsu.. or more like runs away with Natsu from a angry mob of knights, and hence the story begins.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun - Attack of the Loli

Episode 1 and 2 Review

Lets give you some backstory on this anime. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun is the sidestory of To Aru Majustsu no Index, which is about another loli with a badass. Anyways you should watch To Aru Majutsu no Index before watching this one, unless you like yuri/loli action.
Although this anime started off as another Shoujo Ai anime, it will probably get into the story behind Misaka and her clones. Also we caught a glimpse of Tomo and Misaka's fight in episode 2 so we'll see how this goes.

Well dispite the fanservice, these two past episodes are pretty epic with some action. Love the animation with Misaka's railgun power.

Anyways we get two new characters in the sidestoryYAY!

First is Uiharu Kazari.. how cute.

Then we have Saten Ruiko! She's so awesome XD

Anyways first two episode = Total Yuri Fanservice with Kuroko trying to hit on Misaka.

It's pretty entertaining stuff. I don't have much to say about these episodes though.

Kuroko's easy steps to Date Rape -

Step 1 - Make the target comfortable.

Step 2 - Lure her with clothing.

Step 3 - Drug her up.

Step 4 - Delete all possible help.

Kimi Ni Todoke Episode 1

I must say, this was one of the animes I was most excited about this season (along with Winter Sonata).

*intro music plays*........*waits a few seconds*........*skips rest of intro*

So, the story starts with a girl named Sawako who is looked down upon by most of her classmates due to her resemblance to the girl from The Ring (which is a movie I chose not to watch). BUUUUUT, deep down, she is a really nice girl and has a thing for a guy in her class named Shota (Skip Beat anyone?), a well liked and popular male student.

So, in my own words, I shall now sum up the episode. Sawako likes Shota because he treats her differently. Sawako volunteers to play the ghost in the Test of Courage their class is having. Sawako wins, but fails at scaring Shota. They have personal time together. The class makes fun of Sawako. Shota stands up for her. The class apologizes in the form of candy (LAME). Shota wants to spend summer with Sawako. The end.

Thoughts on the episode? It wasn't what I was expecting, nonetheless, a great start to an awesome anime this season. The chibi characters made the anime kawaii! Can't wait for episode 2. This anime is definitely different than most this season. Its not some generic harem *looks at Seitokai no Ichizon*

Probably gonna rank the new animes I've seen this season in the next post based on episode 1.

I am the other moderator for this blog along with Kei-kun. Props to him for creating this wonderful and emo-looking page.

Guess we can both say a little something about ourselves, nee?

So, I'm your average stereotypical Asian child (insert pic here). Recently considered being an otaku as an arubaito (part time job). ohh and I ROVE to use romanji instead of japanese characters because frankly, I'm too damn lazy to go and find them. I'm super weird, so don't mind random ass comments or catch phrases.

personal interest: Japanese bass girls (Tomomi Ogawa=*drool*)

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT (not that kind of butt, but this kind of but), enough about me, I shall now write about Kei-kun (who will probably edit this because he is a n00000000b)

We have been friends for a long time, and I guess we know each other pretty well. He could be considered a full time otaku from the hours of 2:30-bedtime. Ask him about his hentai collection anytime.

Personal interest: 2D cat/loli girls

Don't want to go too much into personal detail, buuuuuuuut, Kei-kun and I are in a rock band and we play guitar and bass respectively.

So, what is todai's lesson in this post?

dont say but unless you want it? NO! (well, maybe)

the real lesson is: ~~Never let Kei-kun babysit your underaged children! ESPECIALLY if they are into cat cosplay.~~
