★ Exciting News, Hats Off Day & More Night Market Fun! ★

Hey guys, I'm super excited and happy today because yesterday I got some emails from my school saying I won 2 scholarships ($6200 in total)!! I never ever win stuff like this so I was super happy because that means I don't have to pay so much tuition~

Last Saturday was Hats Off Day which is a little festival event where they close down one of the main streets and everyone just comes out to have fun. There's a parade in the morning around 8AM but I had class (plus that's too damn early for a parade man) so I didn't go. The stores on that streets are usually open and give away free things or sell very cheap food. There's always lots to see like dancing, singing performances, car shows, etc. I didn't take photos because I had Koji with me and he was a handful, but I managed to take 1 picture of this band of students:

I also went to the night market again with my boyfriend. We went to the other one this time, it's by the River Rock Casino in Richmond. We had lots of good food and I got a new phone case too! I wore my new lenses that day and I love them so much. They're the most comfortable lenses I've ever worn so far~ I'll review them soon I promise!

Afterwards we were in the mood for ice cream. My boyfriend took me to this place called La Casa Gelato. It's famous for having over 500 flavors of gelato! We sampled the spicy mango and kimchi gelato flavors for fun but they were really nasty lol. We ended up getting two flavors to share: green tea and death by mango.

Night Market, Good Eats & New Lenses~

Hello everyone! It's been a while hasn't it? First off I'd like to say thank you to all my readers. Even though I'm not fantastic at updating my blog has been growing. Your support means a lot to me, so welcome and thank you from the bottom of my heart! This is just a catch-up post, I warn you though there's going to be a lot of food porn!

I spent a lot of time with my boyfriend recently, we went out to the night market and we also went to Steveston (a small town near Richmond) for a day.

Also my new circle lenses came in the mail today. They're the EOS Ice Pink lenses. It's a good thing they showed up so soon too because I just ran out of my daily lenses. I got them from my friend Gen who runs the her own shops: Alice Dear and CosQueen. She's really nice and makes a lot of neat little accessories so you should definitely check her shops out!

We also got Koji a new harness because he keeps biting on the leash when we walk him. Too bad he's smart enough to know how to get out of it already ;___; He also chewed a hole in the back in the process of his escape. Gahhh he's just so troublesome. The worst part is that you can't get mad at him. I mean just look at how precious he is:

☼ BBQ Fun & OOTD #7 ☼

Hello~ Today I went over to my friend Branden's house for a BBQ. They had a sale on barbecue grills at Superstore so him and his mom picked one up for really cheap! The weather was sort of "meh" but it cleared up to be a nice night.

I saw a lot of old friends and we spent the night catching up, playing video games and watching videos together. Some friends I hadn't seen since high school so it was quite refreshing to chat with them again!

Ahh the food was so yummy I just didn't have the time to take pictures at all (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ You know me though, I cam-ho'd before I left/when I got home hehehe.

My outfit for the night~ I really wanted to wear my DreamV belt for some reason, so I decided to pair it up with my boots from JustFab and my necklace from Forever21. The rest of the outfit just kind of fell together~

For my makeup I decided to do something different, although I'm not sure if it looks any different. It was Sayoko Ozaki inspired, based off the latest tutorial she was part of on the GODMake's channel.

Hello everyone~ How are you all doing today? I was looking through my old posts and I can't believe I only have 6 labelled OOTD posts. I really suck at this label/tagging thing don't I? >o<;; Today I felt kind of like dressing up so I put together a comfy outfit for school and I thought I'd share it with you.

I couldn't decide on a filter so I picked 4 ;___;

I was really sad that it rained today because the weather had been so nice. Good thing my sweater was so thick because I didn't bring a jacket and it was quite chilly. Today was also the first time I wore these tights and Koji ended up chewing a hole in them ;____; sighhhh.

Sorry this post was so short and pointless. I live a boring life outside of work and school right now haha. I'll be going to a BBQ tomorrow at Branden's place so I'll be sure to dress up and stuff for that~ Also my lenses got shipped today! ✘ An Unforgettable Mother's Day ✘

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Did you celebrate Mother's Day? My Mother's Day was a bit of a...scare. I'll tell you why in just a bit.

I went to church early in the morning as usual however today I couldn't stay for lunch with my friends because I had work. I left right after service and my boyfriend drove me to the mall. He would have stayed for lunch with me before work but because it was Mother's Day he had to have lunch with his mom, which meant he had to be home by 12.

He dropped me off around 11:30 and I didn't have work until 1, so I walked around and did some shopping as well has had lunch before work.

I went to Sephora first and actually ran into my best friend Jennie there! She was spending time with her mom so we only talked for a little bit before she left. I kept looking around and picked up this really nice smelling perfume by Givenchy. It's called Electric Rose and it smells just like the name haha! I can't describe scents very well but this one is like a musky floral. I don't like overly flowery scents but this one is quite nice!

I had a two gift cards which paid for most of the perfume's cost. I ended up earning 3 times the rewards points for this purchase so I picked up the 500 point perk. It was a little set by Benefit and I only decided to get it because they never really have any good 500 point prizes. Inside the set they have a sample of their best selling mascara, a red tint and a liquid highlighter.

Next I went to Urban Planet because they were having a huge sale. I picked up two shirts, one for $5 and one for $12! They're really nice and I think they'll be great for summer~

After that it was about time for work. So far my day's been pretty chill right? Here's when things took a turn for the worst. My boyfriend texted me on my break and told me he couldn't pick me up because he had gotten into a car accident. He was going to the Vancouver Hospital and his mom was going to the Burnaby Hospital. I had no idea what was going on and I started to panic.

Thankfully he called me right after I asked him if he was okay (I was about to walk out of work! >n<;;). It turns out he and his mom were both fine, but for some reason they got sent to different hospitals. He assured me they were both unharmed but he didn't know how long he'd be. When I got off work at 6 I rushed home to drop my things off and asked a friend to give me a ride to the hospital where he was at. He got a ride from his dad to the Burnaby Hospital and they were just waiting for his mom to get out of her tests.

The whole thing was still kind of a shock to all of us, but I'm super grateful and thankful they're both safe and unharmed. Apparently a car was turning and it hit the car next to them. That set off a chain of crashes and my boyfriend's car ended up flipped over and it skid down the street. They had to have firemen cut them out of the car. Here's a picture courtesy of Twitter:

That's his car. You can see the doors have been cut and his mom is actually getting into an ambulance in the right side of the picture.

I don't know what I would have done if something really happened to them. They're both really dear to me and I'm just happy they're safe and well. My boyfriend has a few cuts on his hand from the glass but that's all and I'm so so so relieve that he didn't have any other injuries. His mom was just a little shocked and shaken up but she's fine as well. She's a little bit sore from the collision but she will be okay.

That was the second time a car accident almost took someone from me. The first being the one my mom was in 2 years ago when a stupid drunk driver was running a red light. I'm just glad everything's okay now. A lot of friends left us heartfelt messages and supportive texts so thank you for that (if you guys ever read this) ^__^

♡ Something New ♡

Hello again~ On Wednesday I went out for dinner with some of my family because one of my cousins will be moving away to China for 2 years. We decided to have a farewell dinner and we went to The Keg in Richmond.

Honestly if they're not willing to be open minded or even mind their own business (because the way I dress/do my makeup is not their concern) then I don't have to tolerate them right? Ugh, sorry for the rant.

Hello again everyone! I seem to have neglected this blog again. Time sure flies when you're buried in schoolwork >n<;; This will be a bit of an update post on what I've been doing while I was gone.

April 24th

I got my taobao haul in on this day, but before I was home to open the package I went out for AYCE fish and chips with my friends. It was a really nice day out and it was the first day my boyfriend got his car~ We went to this place called Cockney Kings Fish 'n Chips in Kensington Square and it was super yummy and only costed $9.50!

The decorations were very British. I liked the little placemats that we got, they had the children's menu on the back with some activities like a word search. While waiting for the rest of our friends to show up, Branden, my boyfriend and I solved all the activities haha.

May 3rd

Then nothing really happened during the week until Friday, May 3rd. Some friends, my boyfriend and I were hanging out and we decided to visit this new place that opened up in our neighborhood. It's called Glenburn Soda Fountain & Confectionery. It's a retro diner-like shop that sells ice cream, milkshakes candy and all that fun stuff. It was a really cool experience and I definitely want to go again!

There was no room at the main counter or tables to sit at so we had to eat here on this table. Those are bottles of lemonade mix made with real lemons! I wanted to try it but maybe next time ^__^;;

This was my ice cream! I ordered a small pineapple sundae and it was sooooo yummy! There's fresh pineapple chunks in there and the ice cream tasted so good. It's vanilla but I think it's specially made so it tastes quite different from store bought vanilla. I felt like I went to heaven *A*

My boyfriend's strawberry sundae. We were supposed to share but I don't like strawberry sundaes and he doesn't like pineapple haha. His tasted very sweet but mine was more fresh. It wasn't bad though~

As we were leaving we looked at the bookstore next door. There was this big fat cat in the window and we thought it was fake, but then it moved! We were all very surprised and we took a picture of it as it went back to sleep. It's so weird that someone would just stick a fat cat in the window of the store, especially since the store was closed.

May 5th

It was super nice out and after church I went to lunch at the Lonsdale Quay Market with some friends and my sister. We had some gift cards for this place called East Side Mario's Restaurant & Lounge. It's a cute little Italian place with an outdoor patio facing the water!

My food~ I ordered a scallop carbonara. It had bacon and scallops and it was just so yummy!

Afterwards when we went downstairs there were these setups for the Pepsi vs. Coke taste test challenge. I didn't do it because I don't drink the diet version of either drinks but my friends did the test and they all chose Coke! The lady wasn't very happy but that's just how things are sometimes. There was one girl who picked Pepsi and she got a free can of diet Pepsi.

I took a picture of this lady who was taking a group photo of her friends. It was funny because this is totally what my mom would do! They even have the same iPad case, just in different colors LOL.

Lastly, I know I haven't been updating with outfits or makeup shots and I feel really bad about that. I would love to doll up more but I don't really go out too much and when I do I get super lazy, which is terrible of me. I'm also running low on my disposable contacts, which means I have to make those doll up occasions count! I'm getting a new pair of circle lenses in soon so I'll be able to doll up more when I get those. I currently have that brown pair but they have no prescription so I don't like to wear them much.

I also got a new pair of shoes from JustFab. I forgot to skip the month so I had to spend the credit before I terminated my account. I picked out these sandals because they're perfect for summer! I also got this new Mickey Mouse jacket from my cousin.

Also Koji has been doing great. He's been really active lately and because the weather's so nice he gets to go out on walks more often. I taught him how to sit and go up and down stairs. He's been really good but sometimes he throws tantrums and makes a mess of things so my mom bought a huge dog cage to put him in when he's being bad. After a few minutes he'll calm down and then we can let him out to play again.

You can see he tore up his litter pad in a fit. This is how he looked when I asked if he was going to be good haha. I don't like putting him in the cage because I think he should run free in the house. My mom says we have to keep him in there because he's still young and chews on everything. We have a lot of cables and extension cords around the house and we don't want him to get to those so we'll wait until he's done teething to let him run around the house unsupervised.

7 Facts About Me

1. I have an irrational fear of heights and spiders.

Ever since I was young, both of these things terrify me. I've been a little more brave with these two fears as I got older, but I will still freeze up and shake uncontrollably if things get really bad >__<;;

2. I absolutely adore sushi.

I can eat this stuff every day for every meal and not get sick of it. Seriously.

3. I've discovered that I have an extremely good mental map of where good & cheap food is in any given area.

This sounds absolutely fatty of me but it's true lol. I think it's because I'm almost always hungry and I hang out with pretty spontaneous people. So half the time we'll be like "I'm hungry, let's go eat" and that's when I have to draw on that mental map.

4. I love to cook and I can cook rather well.

My mom and dad always instilled this thinking into me that cooking was one of the hardest but most necessary things I had to learn to do in life. Not sure why, it's not nearly as tasking as they make it sound. Like my mom for example, she always tells me cooking is hard work and that dinner takes hours to prepare. In all fairness, it can take hours but I only think that's the case if you're making something really elaborate. All the times I've made dinner it took about an hour to get the food on the table (including prep time and cleaning mind you). Don't know what they're talking about lol.

5. I'm a sucker for floral print.

Just ask my boyfriend, I own way too much of floral print (at least in his opinion I do haha). But that doesn't stop me from buying more!

6. When I'm feeling down, buying lingerie always cheers me up.

This is a really weird one. I'm not sure why but there's something about a pretty new pair of panties that just makes me feel special lol. I guess it just gives me a little bit of a boost in esteem, even when the issue I'm having isn't with my self image. It's just one of those feel-good things I suppose.

7. I love video games and I'm currently studying Game Art & Design.

Video games have been a huge part of my life for a very long time. The first game I was really dedicated to was Ragnarok Online and this was when I was about 9 or so? I finally followed my passion and dove into studying game design. So far it's very fun and very rewarding. I hope that I'll find a job with a company I love when I graduate! Currently my most dedicated game is League of Legends. I've been playing for 3 years now, but I've been playing less recently due to school~

♦❤♦ Huge Taobao Haul & Shopping Service Review (picture heavy)♦❤♦

I'm back! Sorry for the lack of posts, I wasn't planning to disappear completely for two weeks but school and work have been taking up a lot of my time. Today I was super happy to see my Taobao order arrived. I was surprised that it came so quickly since I made my final payment just last week! In this post I will be reviewing the shopping service I used and of course the items I got as well. Be warned that this is a photo intensive post.

I placed my Taobao order at the end of March (29th-31st) with Dolly Poddle. She has some math examples up on her facebook group page where you can calculate your total if you have a large order. I had a fairly big order but she was very kind and gave me an estimate anyways ~~(cause my math sucks)~~. Her communication was quick and she was extremely nice and polite. She laid out all the math for each item so I could see where I was getting charged.

Once I placed my order and paid for the items I waited about a week for all the items to get to her. She then messaged me again and I made my final payment on the 18th (for shipping from her to me) and the parcel came on the 23rd. She gave me tracking and everything of course, but damn that was some fast shipping!

Everything came packaged nicely in a box. The shoes are actually in their own box and all the clothes are in their own plastic wrap.

Now I'll show you pictures of the items I got and a brief description/impression of them. I'm not going to link them because some of them aren't available anymore and whatnot. If you want more information on a certain piece though, I'll be more than happy to help!

The first two things I pulled out were my long awaited MA*RS sets. They're absolutely gorgeous and although they're most likely replicas, the quality is really good! They don't feel cheap at all and I'm super happy about these two purchases alone. The seller even included a small shop bag and thank you note for me!

The next few items I ordered were Liz Lisa or similar styled. I was actually expecting replicas but it looks like a few of the items I got were authentic as they still had their shop price tag on them!

Simple lace-hood pull over for those lazy days. I really like it, the fabric is soft and not too bulky. Authentic.

These shorts are replicas but they fit like a dream. I like how versatile these are!

I originally wanted this pullover in white but they ran out of stock. I got it in pink instead and I'm in love. Authentic.

This skirt is absolutely adorable, I love it so much. It has shorts hidden on the inside and the color is really nice too. It goes well with a lot of the shirts I bought! Authentic.

A Liz Lisa inspired blouse with a detachable neck ribbon. I've been really into chiffon lately and this style of blouse is really versatile.

This bat-wing pullover is supposed to be Liz Lisa inspired room wear but it's really really thick! It's the heaviest item in my order and it's just too pretty to wear to sleep. I think I'll save this for the fall or winter time.

This replica Liz Lisa bag had to be the most disappointing part of my purchase. In the photos it looks white, even here in my photo it looks white but it's actually a sort of grey. It's not as nice as I want it to be but the quality is still pretty good. A little bit on the smaller size, but other than that it's still a nice bag. I just wish it was white instead of grey.

These next items are from the popular Taobao store, Bobon21. This has got to be one of the best webstores I've ever come across! Their items are perfect for people who enjoy Liz Lisa/roma-gyaru/himekaji styles.

This blazer is the perfect shade of pink, I just had to have it. I think it's part of a school uniform inspired set but I just wanted the blazer. I don't have a lot of nice outerwear for layering so this is a great addition to my wardrobe!

I got this polkadot chiffon blouse to go with the salopette in the next picture. It's actually quite a nice blouse! I think it'll go great with the Liz Lisa shorts I got.

The cutest salopette ever. I've always liked this style of dresses but I couldn't find any that would suit me. This one fits great and the suspenders are detachable so I can wear it like a skirt. One of my favorite items in this order!

I got this chiffon blouse with a detachable neck ribbon after I saw Catherine had a similar one. I really liked the way she wore it so I thought I would get one too. Again it's a nice, simple and versatile piece so it'll work with a lot of the skirts/shorts I already have.

Finally the last items are from random sellers. I got 2 pairs of lace socks and a pair of DreamV ballet flats.

Finally! The part of the post that matters most to you haha. Here's my review of Dolly's shopping service:

Communication ❤❤❤❤❤

Dolly's communication was excellent throughout my whole transaction. I was pretty annoying with my order because some items became unavailable and I had to replace them. I also kept adding items too before finalizing the order. However, despite all this she was patient and very kind to me. She didn't get annoyed or anything and was very eager to help me.

Price ❤❤❤❤❤

Her pricing was reasonable and she explained it all very clearly to me. She even let me know about special offers that sellers were having mid-way through my purchase. I think that if you ordered multiple items from the same seller she offered a discount on the shipping.

Shipping ❤❤❤❤❤

I seriously cannot get over how fast this came to me. It took less than a week and she gave me tracking for my package too. I expected it to be much longer because most orders I make from Asia take at least 2 weeks to get here.

Packaging ❤❤❤❤❤

Everything was packaged neatly in one box. I appreciated the fact that the shoes were in their own box and not just in a bag with the rest of my items.

Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. The quality of the items I got were amazing and Dolly was very helpful and polite to me for the entire duration of my purchase. If you're looking to buy from Taobao or Anna House, please give Dolly a shout. This was my first time using a shopping service and I was blown away by how pleasant the entire experience was. I'll definitely be doing business with her again in the future!

First day of School ft. Koji picspam

Hey guys! I started art school today and it was... way more hectic than it should have been haha. My day started out with Koji crying for attention. He was barking late at night and woke us all up because he wanted to play >___<;; Too bad I woke up 15 minutes late and had no time to play with him before I left. He had thrown a fit and made a big mess with his droppings. I had to get my sister to clean it or I would miss my bus. I felt bad because he would be alone until she got home at 3 so I left the radio on for him.

I rushed out and just caught the bus, although unfortunately for me I missed the skytrain (d'oh!). I ate my breakfast (energy bar) while I waited for the skytrain and just barely made it on time for class. My first class was "Introduction to Computer Systems." We basically talked about technological history and how a computer works. I had a really hard time staying awake but my teacher was very nice and energetic so I was able to stay focused. We had a 25 minute break after the first hour or so and that was enough for me to have a drink and wake up a little. That class was pretty boring, but it's a very straightforward class. I don't think I'll have trouble with it. My classmates are very nice too, but they're mostly guys. I guess it's expected though. It doesn't bother me much because I can still have a good conversation with them.

After my first class I had a one hour break but I had to go to a seminar. My school set up 10 seminars/talks for all the new students and it's mandatory to go to 5 of them. I picked out my 5 and the first one I picked happened to be today. It was about how to be successful and achieve goals. Simple stuff. When that was over I made my way to my second class which was "The History of Video Games." My teacher didn't show up to class because he was sick or something, so the dean of the school actually came in to teach. We were doing self introductions and 20 minutes into the class we had a power outage! It took us all by surprise but in no time everyone had whipped out their phones to light up the room XD

When the power came back on we just had a discussion on games and everything related. It was really fun! I think I'll enjoy this class, however I did read through the course outline and the homework looks to be very time consuming.

That was my first day at school. It was really long but I'm glad I had so many breaks in between. I rushed home to see Koji and he had made a mess again. It was annoying to clean but I can't stay mad at him. Also we found out he's really good in front of a camera so we took a lot of photos of him already!

Hey guys, today I have some exciting news for you. Sorry if this becomes too long, it's going to be a personal post so you can skip it if you're not interested in such topics.

After Cupcake passed away I was really sad and didn't really handle it too well for the first few weeks. Now that a little time has passed I feel like I can love a pet again. I know it seems a bit soon to some, but I have my reasons. I still love Cupcake and think about her every day, but I don't think she'd want me to be unhappy forever.

I walked around the mall with my mom on Friday after my orthodontist appointment. We had some time to kill because we had another appointment just after. We went to the pet store and looked at all the animals, and she jokingly encouraged me to ask for the prices of the puppies. Needless to say they were all very expensive (around the $3000 mark) and we were on our way.

My mom said that my cousin got her dog for around $800 from a breeder so I should look online to find a cheaper price. I took it as a fun challenge and looked up all the breeds of dog that I wanted. I've always loved Shiba Inus and American Eskimo dogs, especially when they're mixed together (called an Imo-Inu). However just like Cupcake, they are a rare/uncommon breed so finding them at a reasonable price was hard.

I don't know how it happened, but with a stroke of luck I came across a posting on kijiji that was put up a few hours before I got home. It was for the cutest Mini American Eskimo dog ever and he had everything I was looking for in a dog. I called up the owner and scheduled to see the dog, without really any intention of buying him. My mom took me downtown and when I saw him I instantly fell in love.

The girl texted me afterwards, telling me she and her boyfriend felt we were the best people to have approached them. They wanted to give their dog away to a caring family and we were the ones who stood out the most to them. Since then I was determined to take him home with me.

After thinking every single problem and possibility through, I went ahead and approached my landlord & landlady about having a dog. We chatted for a bit and in the end, they told be they didn't have a problem with it at all! They understood the feeling of losing a pet (their cat died before Cupcake did) so they sympathized with me. The told me that having a dog was very rewarding for them, although there was a lot of hard work involved in taking care of it. I was thrilled.

I called up the girl to let her know the good news and I'm picking him up tonight!!! The funny thing is, this is the exact feeling of excitement and happiness I felt the night I took Cupcake home. Also just like in Cupcake's case, I had already picked out a name before even meeting him haha. I named him Koji because it's the first name that came to me. It seemed fitting, especially after I looked it up: KOJI (光司): Japanese name meaning “light/shining second (child).”

Anyways, here's a picture of my sweet little baby Koji (from the listing). He is a 10 week old Mini American Eskimo dog and I love him to bits already.

Tutorial: How to Re-curl a Non-heat Resistant (Synthetic) Wig

Why hello! I bet you weren't expecting a post like this in your reading list today! I was really bored and had a whole day of free time so I decided to cut and re-curl one of my wigs, and even try my hand at some sujimori (pic spam at the end!). I only own two at the moment and I haven't worn them much because of how out of shape they are.

When I got them they were quite tangled, but I did manage to brush the tangles out... along with most of the curl FML. I tossed them aside and just forgot about them until I came across some videos/articles about re-curling them. Huzzah! My wigs are saved!

In this tutorial I'll explain to you the procedure I used. There will be lots of pictures to guide you along the way. This works with synthetic hair extensions as well!

Please note that I'm not responsible for any damage that may occur to your wigs if you choose to follow this tutorial incorrectly. ***I am not a wig expert. If you are nervous/unsure of yourself then I suggest you try smaller sections first until you get comfortable working with large sections. Use your best judgement.

Things you need:

A wig (obviously) or synthetic hair extentions
A brush/comb
Some clips and bobby pins/small clips
A curling iron in your diameter of choice (I believe mine is 1.5 inches; the bigger the iron the looser the curl)
A spray bottle filled with water
Hairspray (optional)
A lot of patience. I'm serious, this could feel like an eternity if you have a super long wig.

So first I'll show you what the wig looks like before I started. I had cut a few layers in this before but not a lot and they're not very short so you can't really tell.

Step 1:
Brush out your wig and part the hair into small sections (just like you would if you were curling your own hair). You want to make sure it's as tangle free as you can possibly get it before starting.

Step 2:
Take a small section of hair (about 1 inch or so) and spray it with water. You don't want it to be dripping wet, you just want it to be damp. Make sure you spray evenly and don't forget to spray the ends as well. You can also run your comb through after you've sprayed the hair to make sure it is tangle free.

Feel free to take bigger or smaller sections, depending on what you're comfortable working with/look you're trying to achieve. Be aware that the curling time will change depending on your thickness of section.

*Step 3 (SUPER CRITICAL YOU READ AND FOLLOW THIS CORRECTLY):
It's time to curl the damp hair. Make sure you set your iron to the LOWEST possible setting. In my case, I set the heat level to "1". Curl the hair, but be quick; don't take too long trying curl the ends before rolling your iron all the way up the section. Hold the hair for about 15-30 seconds, depending on the thickness of your section. It is extremely important that you do not exceed 30 seconds on the iron as you may burn/melt the hair.

Step 4:
Slowly drop the curl out of your iron. Don't unwind it, try to keep it curled. Make sure the entire section is rolled up to the base and pin it like in the picture below:

Keep going until your whole wig is done up in pin curls like so (I left out the top section because I was going to cut it):

Step 5:
Let your pin curls sit for at least 15 minutes before undoing them. This should give them enough time to dry and set. You can spray them with hairspray at this point if you like, but I didn't.

Step 6:
It's time to unwrap and style your wig! Be gentle and try not to tug at the curls too hard as you may warp the shape. Now you can lightly brush out the curls so that they don't look so chunky and apply hairspray to set your new do!

Good Food, New Inspiration & Gets

Hello my lovelies! Recently the weather's been gorgeous so I spent the day downtown with my boyfriend and Branden yesterday. We had lots of good food and I even got a new mouse! My mom's friend sent me a giftcard for my birthday so I picked up a few thing from Forever21 too. Also I will be including some of my favorite/inspirational pictures of Sayoko Ozaki from the newest Happie Nuts~

Another note, I'm running out of my disposable lenses and I was in a rush so there won't be an outfit/makeup shot in this post (sorry!). I'll be getting new lenses soon though, so that's something to look forward to.

We arrived downtown at about 4 in the afternoon and went straight for this new poutine joint that opened up recently. It's called Smoke's Poutinerie and it had lots of different flavored poutines!

If you don't know what a poutine is, it's basically fries with gravy and cheese. This food dish has become so popular that people have started making different flavors and adding many kinds of toppings such as bacon and guacamole!

I ordered the double pork poutine which has bacon, pulled pork, cheese and gravy. It was super yummy! Patrick got the nacho one, which is basically all the nacho toppings on top of a poutine and Branden got one called the "rainbow". It had one stripe of guacamole in the middle, one stripe of sriracha on either side of that and then a stripe of cheese sauce on both edges. It sounded really strange at first but the flavors were not bad together. I think it was really unique and creative~

The restaurant was pretty small but it wasn't cramped. The food was not too expensive and we got served really fast. I would definitely go back there again just to try the other flavors!

Next we walked around Futureshop where Branden bought me a new mouse as a late birthday present. He said that he wanted this mouse too when he needed one and that it was good. He got it priced matched so instead of paying around $115 he only paid around $60!

It fits my hand pretty well and the best thing about it is that it can be both wireless or wired! Also there's a bunch of macro keys on the side so that's cool. ~~(now I can spam pings/taunts/laughs like a true troll. huehue)~~

After that we went to H-Mart which is a Korean grocery store chain. We walked around and checked out all the deals they had and bought some popsicles. We sat downstairs and ate our popsicles while watching people pass by and reading the free newspapers they had lying around.

This is my favorite popsicle ever! It's called Melona and it's really tasty. It's a honeydew flavor and the texture is similar to ice cream~ I really want to try the other flavors too but I always just end up getting this one because it's my favorite >w<;;

We walked around some more and Branden said he wanted to have Japadogs. They're hotdogs with a Japanese twist! I think they're only in Vancouver, so if you're ever in the area you should definitely give them a try. They're absolutely delicious. We both got the terimayo japadog which is their standard one. It comes with teriyaki sauce, mayo, seaweed, and fried onions~

After we finished we decided to head home because it was starting to get a bit chilly and we didn't bring our coats. I had lots of fun, but I was really stuffed when I got home haha. I don't think I've ever eaten so much in one day. It was really yummy though, but I don't think I could eat like that all the time (〃￣ω￣〃ゞ

I started reading Japanese fashion magazines online recently and decided to save some inspirational pictures for the spring! I've been really liking Sayoko Ozaki as she is just stunning. I like her style a lot and she always looks flawless.

I'm thinking of getting some pale golden/yellow lenses in the future because of how nicely Sayoko wears them. I never thought I'd ever get lenses in that color, but who knows, maybe I'll love them!

Finally, I picked up a few things from Forever21 with my giftcard. I have a few outfits in mind for this shirt already but I won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to wait and see! It looks black and white but it's really a dark blue and white.

I grabbed two necklaces as well. I love peter pan collars and have been dying to get a good necklace of it, so I was super happy when I found this one. It's the perfect size and the detailing is not too flashy as some of the Forever21 jewelry can be.

If you didn't know, I absolutely adore crosses! You wouldn't believe how excited I was when I unboxed this bad boy. I put one on hold but decided not to get it, however my giftcard came a few days later and I decided, why not?

♡♢♢ My journey so far ♢♢♡

Hello everyone! How's it going? I haven't updated in a while now, sorry about that >3<;; I finally got a little break from work and stuff so I decided to have some "me" time and climb the elo ladder on League of Legends. ~~(Super happy I made it to gold V. Now all I have to do is make the climb to plat QQ)~~

Anyways, I was reading up on other blogs and I came across Lizzie's Gyaru Improvement meme and I thought I'd give it a go. I never really look back at old pictures of myself much, so this was really fun to do. I think I've changed a bit since I first started this style and I'm really happy to see the growth, even if it's just a tiny bit. My first attempt for Gyaru was in May 2012, so that's where this meme will begin~

May 2012: I made my first attempt and I was inspired by Okarie's simple make. This was my first time using false lower lashes ^__^;;

June 2012: I couldn't get the hang of lower lashes so I tried just using a shadow for definition and lining just the center of my lower lash line with liner

July 2012: Decided that it wasn't the application of lower lashes that I didn't like, rather it was the style of lashes. I made my own lashes by cutting ones that were too long and gluing the extra bits to the outer corner for more volume at the ends.

August 2012: I got a little crazy with smoking out my eyeshadow lol. During this time I really liked winging my liner lower and making a rounder eye look. Finally got a hang of lower lashes.

September - October 2012: I made very little effort to doll up because of school taking up my time. I also toned down my makeup to make it more wearable. I absolutely hated it.

November 2012: I stopped wearing circle lenses after visiting the eye doctor. She said I needed to give my eyes a break or else I would damage them forever. She prescribed me color lenses that were made of a better material so that I could still have lenses. I started using Diamond Lash/longer upper lashes for a more elongated eye.

December 2012: I didn't do any gal makeup or any makeup really during this month because I got an eye infection. I did however start to get into making better outfits such as my first MA*RS getup you see here.

January 2013: I got new circle lenses (but so far I've only worn them twice). Nothing's really too different. I started to pay more attention to my brows.

February 2013: Went back to using my prescribed lenses. Using less shadow on my lower lash line now.

March 2013: Started drawing a 'point' in the inner corner to define my eyes.

Looking back I really do see a bit of progress. I liked my July look a lot actually haha. I'm not sure if I'm loving my makeup direction right now, but I'll definitely try to improve more. Hopefully the weather will lighten up here and I can get some nice outfits going! I also just placed a huge Taobao haul so I'm super excited for that.

Hello again everyone! How are you all doing? I've had quite an exciting weekend and now, before I know it, a new weekend is just around the corner!

On the 16th I had an early birthday party with my friends at Posh and then we went for karaoke afterwards (my actual birthday is the 20th). Before that though, I went to this event at AI and was able to get my student ID and unofficial schedule for my first term.

I'm still really nervous about starting at a new school and not knowing anyone there. Actually the event I went to was supposed to be for us to get to know other people in our program but it turns out everyone who went is starting at a different time and in different programs LOL fail. There ended up being only 2 students who were actually going to be classmates.

I asked everyone to dress up semi-formal for a change cause we always do casual things. I thought for my 21st birthday we could do something a little more special~ This next part will just be a bit of a photo dump!

Essence Forget It! 3 in 1 Concealer Review

Hi again! How have you all been? Today I'm bringing you a review on the Essence Forget It! 3 in 1 Concealer. Let's get started right away!

I bought this concealer at Shoppers Drug Mart for about $2.99 or so. It was really not more than $3.25 after tax. I really wanted to try this because I heard many good reviews on it. I was wanting to try out a corrector-type concealer because my dark circles were just getting way too cray.

Here's the packaging~

Here are some swatches for you.

Unfortunately for me, the concealer portion of the trio is too dark for my skin so that's unfortunate. I think if you are not as fair as I am, you would be fine. The green shade is supposed to counteract redness but I don't find myself reaching for it too often because my concealer/BB cream is doing enough work. The pink shade is actually pretty good but not good enough in my opinion to warrant a repurchase. Though for $2 and some change, I can't really argue. I won't go out of my way to buy this but I might get it if I just happen upon it.

The product itself is very smooth and creamy almost to the point of where it feels slightly greasy. All three shades do dry relatively matte so I don't really have a problem with creasing or anything like that. I did a small demo on the pink portion of the trio to let you get a better idea of what it does for your eyes in case you're unfamiliar with pink/salmon toned concealers. Please don't mind my nasty skin and death stare. I couldn't bother myself to photoshop the pictures to perfection.

some of the discoloration has been evened out.

As you can see from the second picture, most of the purple and blue tones in my skin have been neutralized. After following the application up with some concealer, I finally look awake! XD

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥

This is probably the cheapest concealer I own, and for the way that it performs it's definitely worth it! The downside is that I think this is a little hard to find here in town.

Texture: ♥♥♥♡♡

This product is very smooth and creamy, but it can feel a slight bit greasy. The colors blend very nicely, but I think the green shade is just a little more difficult to work with than the other two shades.

Coverage: ♥♥♥♡♡

The green and pink shades aren't really meant to conceal, they go on a bit sheer as they are just used to correct. The concealer itself is more of a light-medium coverage, although it is buildable. I would highly advise you set this with a powder though because it is quite creamy.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♡

Like I said before, I like this trio mostly for the pink shade and even at that I don't absolutely LOVE/need it. I could always just invest in a pink/salmon based concealer like Benefit's Erase Paste so I wouldn't need to use this product and a concealer on top. I highly doubt I'd repurchase this just because I don't have a use for the green or concealer shades.

☠ New Hair ☠

Hello sweeties! I bet you're all anxious to see my new hair~ Unfortunately my hair stylist didn't want to bleach my hair for the purple because it would be too damaging for my hair, so we decided to do red instead. She also didn't have enough color for the length of ombre I wanted to do so I settled for red peek-a-boos. I was pretty disappointed to not get the purple, but lately I've seen a lot of people getting it so maybe it's for the better. I always liked to be a little different lol.

First I'll show off my cut which was the day after my last post (Saturday). If you follow me on instagram then you'll have seen this already. Please don't mind the before photo, I didn't wash my hair before I went so it looks really nasty lol.

Spring Gets & Hair Makeover

Hello again my dear readers~ I'm just pumping these posts out like crazy aren't I? ヽ(；▽；)ノ It's been a while since I last posted a haul post so I thought I'd share with you a few things I picked up this week as well as some plans I have for my hair. I'm getting it done tomorrow because I want it trimmed and colored in time for my birthday party next Saturday! ~~(In case you're wondering, my actual birthday is on the 20th)~~

The first thing I got was from Forever21. I was trying so hard not to shop while working until I spotted this dress stuffed in a rack of mint clothes. (Get it? Spotted? Cause it's covered in polka dots? HA. Nevermind, I'm not funny.) I don't own a lot of mint stuff so I thought I'd check the price tag. For only $23~ I couldn't resist. I decided that this would be my birthday dress this year.

Actually, I always wanted to make a thing out of my birthday, you know have everyone dress up and go somewhere fancy. But my friends and I never really had the money to go and do anything special so we'd always just end up having sushi and doing karaoke. Which is fine, I don't mind. However this year has to be different since I'll be turning 21 and all my friends are legal now lol. It's about time we live it up! But that's enough of that, you'll get the joy of reading my rambling when the party actually happens.

I picked out a new phone case on eBay cause my old one was getting discolored and just really nasty. I expected as much though cause it's a jelly type case and it was white too. This one was only $5 with shipping included.

I like it, it's really cute. The only problem I have is with the cotton ball tail. It's a suction attachment and it keeps coming off. It's rather annoying but soooo darn cute. I think I might just glue it on when I get super fed up with it haha. I do like this case better than my last one though because it's not as bulky~

I went shopping with my boyfriend today as well after he got off class. We didn't really have the intention of shopping, he just wanted to wander around the mall. Obviously that was a bad idea lol. I ended up getting this dress and shirt from Bluenotes since they were having a buy 1 get 1 half off sale. My total came to around $30, which is not bad I guess.

You can tell I'm crazy about mint right now. I'm trying to load my wardrobe up with as much mint as possible for spring lol. This shirt's really cute, you can't see how sheer it is in the picture but I'll definitely have to wear a tank top under.

My boyfriend actually picked this dress out for me. He doesn't like how I have so much floral print so he picked out something more plain. It looks like denim but it's not, it's just the fabric. I tried it on and it's not bad! I like the way it fits and the fabric/cut is more comfortable than I thought it would be. It also has pockets which I thought was cute. I'm excited to wear this when spring actually rolls around~

The last thing I wanted to talk about is my hair plans. (sounds so stupid when I try to give it a title lol) I was pretty torn between color choices. My mom's pretty strict with my hair color because she's very conservative when it comes to these things. However I got her to let me get any crazy color so long as it's in an ombre style. I'm so excited because this is the first time in my life where I can actually get a vibrant color as opposed to just brown.

After seeing pictures of XiaXue, Cheesie and even my friend Anna with purple hair, I decided to do a purple ombre. Here are some pictures of what I hope my new hairdresser can do! I'm thinking of keeping a brown base though. (pictures not mine)

Mary Kay Concealer Review

Hi again sweethearts! Today I'm bringing you a review on a product I've had for quite a while now, it's a concealer by Mary Kay. This brand is very special because it's not sold in stores exactly. It's one of those online companies that hire people to sell directly to other people.

The first time I encountered this brand was when I was in my hairdressing course in high school. We had a rep from Mary Kay come and speak to us about their products. We got to sample various products and in the end, I bought the mineral powder and the concealer. These were my very first makeup products~

You can find this product online at the Mary Kay website for $12.50. The concealer comes in a small black tube with a twist off cap. The rep color matched me as "ivory 2". Here's what it looks like:

The concealer is very creamy and opaque. It looks light but it does oxidize slightly to match up with my skin tone. You don't need a lot so one tube will last you a really, really long time.

I use this for my under eye circles the most. I do use this around my face as well, but I actually like this for only under my eyes. Even though it's very creamy and smooth, the product doesn't set into the stupid line I have under my eyes like most concealers with this consistency do. It stays all day and doesn't break me out when I use it on other parts of my face.

As you can see the coverage is pretty good. I just squeeze a little of this on the back of my hand and pat it under my eyes with my ring finger. Without the use of a correcter, this concealer brightens my eyes and covers up that nasty purple business going on in the inner corner. It even looks like it makes that stupid line under my eye disappear too lol.

I love that this comes in a tube. It just makes getting to the product so much easier and not to mention, so much more hygienic! The tube itself is sleek and thin. You can tuck this away in your makeup bag for travelling or on the go as it's about the same size as a lipstick.

Price: ♥♥♥♥♡

This concealer is definitely on the pricey side compared to other brands. It's also a little bit harder to get a hold of if you don't know a rep. However I think it's worth it given the amount of product you get and the quality is fantastic. You seriously only need a pea size amount and that would be enough to conceal your entire face. I'm not even kidding, this stuff will last you forever.

Coverage: ♥♥♥♥♥

This stuff covers everything without the help of a correcter. It brightens up my eyes and is great for defining around my lips too! I wouldn't say that this offers full coverage but it's definitely medium-full.

Application: ♥♥♥♥♥

This goes on very smooth and blends right into your skin. The product itself is very creamy but it doesn't feel greasy at all. It doesn't settle in any fine lines either. You can apply this with your fingers or with a brush and the results will still be the same imo.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I've tried many concealers but I always come back to this one. It does a wonderful job of covering up my dark circles and for what you pay, you're getting a very good quality product. The only downside is that it may be hard/tricky to get a hold of.

E.L.F Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick Review

Hi guys! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I'm going to review the E.L.F Jumbo Lip Gloss Sticks I got in my most recent E.L.F haul. I was really excited to try these out because they reminded me a lot of the Revlon Lip Stain Balms.

Here's what they look like in the packaging. You can find these online at the E.L.F website for $2.00! I got the colors Sangria Starters and In the Nude.

Compared to the Revlon Kissable Balm Stains, these lip gloss sticks are a teeny bit smaller. The tip is not as pointed though so application can get a little messy/less precise than their Revlon counterpart. Just like the Revlon stains, these gloss sticks twist up to dispense more product.

I did a swatch for you of both the colors on my arm. They look very pigmented but I think they come out a lot more sheer on the lips. That's alright though as the color is quite buildable with more applications.

I was sort of disappointed with In the Nude as it is definitely more of an orange based nude than I wanted it to be. It's not as neutral as it looks in the tube or in the pictures online. That's one of the problems with shopping online for these things is that the colors don't always come as they appear. Unfortunately, I don't think these types of nudes flatter me very much, but for $2 I can live with this purchase being a bit of a dud.

Sangria Starters on the other hand is a very pigmented and pretty rust/dusty red/brown-red. I know that sounds kind of off-putting and weird, but trust me it's a nice color. I feel like this can be someone's "your lips but better" kind of color.

I apologize for my ugly dry lips in these photos. I've been bad with my water intake these past couple of days so the flakes have come to haunt me. Anyways, as you can see from the pictures, the colors are very sheer. In the Nude likes to settle into the cracks and lines of my lips but Sangria Starters looks just fine. I don't know why, but this happens every time I use it. Maybe the formula for that color just isn't thick enough? I don't even know lol. It doesn't look as bad if I line my lips first and use a gloss on top. Guess this nude just hates me.

Packaging: ♥♥♥♥♥

You can't go wrong with twist up tube packaging! I love that it's small and compact like the Revlon stains. My only gripe with these kinds of products is that you can mess it up if you put the cap on wrong. But that's just the issue with all products that protrude beyond their packaging.

Price: ♥♥♥♥♥
This is such a great deal. For $2, you're getting something very comparable to the Revlon stains which can be at least an $8 purchase. You get a great amount of product and the quality is not that far off from the Revlon products.

Application: ♥♥♥♥♥
These glide on very smoothly, you don't need to prep your lips with lip balm or anything. They say they're a lip gloss but I can tell you right now it's more of a balm. They do give a great shine as if you've used gloss over a lip color, very similar to the Revlon Lip Butters. They have a slight minty smell and sensation when you apply them but it does go away. They stay smooth and feel very hydrating but they do wear off easily so you'll find yourself reapplying often.

Color: ♥♥♥♥♡The colors are very nice in swatches but they do sheer out on the lips. I think the darker colors will turn out to be better purchases than the lighter colors because of this. The product is not true to its color on the website or in the packaging, so please be careful of that when you make your purchase.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥
All in all I think this is a great purchase if you're looking for something similar to Revlon's lip stain balms but you don't want to shell out $8+ for a lip product. These are very comparable in terms of application but you will not get the same long lasting effect. These will most definitely wear out and transfer while the Revlon ones do not. However I think that's a fair trade off since you're basically paying 1/4 of the price for the same amount of product. I would definitely repurchase this but I would stay away from the nude color~

New Layout & Updates

Hey guys! How are you guys doing? I've been doing alright, I had to work a lot earlier this week but now my weekend is clear for me to relax. If you haven't been here for a while, you might have noticed that SweetDreams has a new look! I was really bored so I decided to change things up. It's not perfect but whatever, close enough lol.

This is just going to be a small update post. I have a TON of reviews queued up to be published along with a skincare routine post and some e.l.f product reviews so stay tuned for that. I also decided to throw in a hair and makeup tutorial that I did a while back for the Gaijin Gyaru Magazine. In case you haven't gotten the memo on that, the project has been dead for a while now because of editor issues. I figured since I did the work for the tutorials, I might as well post it up.

Recently I've been trying to get back into my drawing groove. It's been a lot harder than I thought but after about 2.5 hours and some rockin' music I came up with this little doodle:

It took me a really long time to get the hands down because I suck at drawing them lol ~~(and feet for that matter, I can't draw those for shit)~~. It felt good to be creative again so I'm looking forward to drawing more often.

Also I've reached 101 followers today, so thank you guys for your continued support! When I first started this blog I didn't think anyone would be interested in my mindless blabbering but you folks have proved me wrong! Thank you so much guys, I really don't know what to say~

Essie Grow Stronger Nail Strengthener Review

Hello my dear readers! Today I'm going to review the Essie Grow Stronger Nail Strengthener. I bought this on sale at London Drugs for around $10 on boxing day. The nail strengthener I used before was the Sally Hansen Green Tea + Bamboo Nail Strengthener. I can do a review on that one later if you guys want~

This is what the packaging looks like~ You can buy this from most drugstores that sell Essie products like Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Superstore etc. The price will vary everywhere.

It looks like a milky pink but it goes on clear

I thought I'd give you some history on my nails first. I'm not one of those people that go out of their way to eat/drink lots of things that are supposed to make your nails stronger. I have a pretty bad diet and basically eat whatever's in the fridge lol. I do try for veggies and juices though!

I used to have a lot of milk when I was a kid, but now that I'm older I've stopped drinking so much. My nails have never been able to grow out because they would always chip and peel. I used to cut my nails but after a while I started filing them down instead. I feel like filing them keeps them growing and doesn't damage them as bad as cutting them but that's just me.

So before I started the application I filed my nails down. You can probably still see some of the nail bits that haven't been filed away completely. Here's what they look like:

You can see on my first and middle finger that there is some chipping/peeling going on. I try not to peel my nails so to stop them from peeling I try to buff the peels out with a nail file/buffing tool if that makes any sense at all. Below is after applying the nail strengthener. The product looks like a milky pink, but as you can see it doesn't really show up as anything on my nails.

The product filled in the cracks and smoothed out the nail. Plus it makes them look so clean and fresh! Since the application I have applied polish and re-filed my nails once. This is what they looked like after removing the polish. This was about a week after the application:

After that I reapplied the strengthener as a base and did my Valentines nails. This is what they look like today as I'm typing this out to you (about a week and a half after the above picture). Please excuse the bits of pink/glitter left over from my last coat of polish~ Also I'm sorry the last few pics came out blurry >___<;;

As you can see, they've grown quite a bit. I know it's not the same hand but the chipping is gone on my right hand as well (same chipping/peeling but on different fingers). They're really strong right now, they don't bend or break when I try to do things like open a pop can! Now I can finally have the pretty long nails I've always dreamed of having!

Packaging: ♥♥♥♥♥

I love the way Essie polishes are packaged. They're small but hold a lot of product and don't rip you off like those other polishes with the thick glass bottles. I also like that it's not one of those funky shaped bottles, it just makes storing them a lot easier imo.

Price: ♥♥♥♥♡

I think that this product is reasonably priced for what it does. I'd love for it to be cheaper but there's quite a lot of product for what you're getting so I can't really complain. I'm fine with just getting it when I see it on sale, but even at full price I think it's still worth the purchase.

Application: ♥♥♥♥♥

The application process was easy, The product is not too watery or too thick and spreads nicely over the nails. It dries pretty fast so you can get on with your color polish right away if you're using this as a base. The brush is the same as any Essie polish brush.

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥

I would definitely repurchase this product. In fact, I think it will be my go-to base coat from now on. It helps my polishes go on smoothly and minimize staining. Of course the big benefit of this product is that it has helped my nails grow back stronger and healthier. I probably won't be using any other nail strengthener from now on. I love this stuff. Also it looks so cute in the bottle! It's my favorite shade of pink~

Late Valentine's Celebration

Hi again! Yesterday I spent the day with my boyfriend. We went downtown and did some shopping, then we had dinner at a Japanese bar & grill called ShuRaku. The food there was tasty but not as good as where I usually go. It was also a little more expensive, but I think it's relatively cheap for a restaurant that's in central downtown. ~~(also the bartender was really really hot.)~~

I forgot to mention that a special surprise came in the mail for me on Valentine's Day! I had ordered something for me and my boyfriend as an anniversary gift but it didn't come in time, so I was quite surprised to see it turn up on the 14th of all days!

It's a matching necklace set. Mine is the left one and the right one is for my boyfriend! They're actually a lot smaller than I thought they'd be but that's fine. He loved it and wears it all the time now! ^^

I tried something different with my makeup that day. I wanted to make my eyes more defined like most Gyarus do by making a point in the inner corner with their liner. I could never do that because of the way my eyes are shaped. ~~They're kind of retarded and curve rather than make a point.~~ I tried to make a small point as opposed to the kind of points other gals make that connect to their liner. I'm actually pretty pleased with the way things turned out! I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo because the quality is not that good. I'm going to experiment with this more later! Sorry for the pic spam (´；д；`)

So what do you think? I'm not sure if I'm head-over-heels in love with the look yet. I feel strange having such defined eyes LOL. But I think it's definitely a change for the better!

Hotpot & Karaoke Fun~

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you all had an exciting/romantic day with your special someone. In case you didn't, don't worry because I didn't either! I had to work so we'll be celebrating tomorrow or Saturday instead.

Yesterday I went out for karaoke and hotpot with some special friends from my Japanese class. No one had any other suggestions so we went to Posh and K-Mix near Metrotown~

Initially there were around 12 people, including myself, who were signed up to attend but in the end only 7 of us showed up. We still had lots of fun though! In fact we had so much fun we barely even took pictures haha.

My friend Mina took some pictures but she hasn't uploaded them yet. I guess I'll just update this post later when she puts them up!

I thought the hotpot would be a lot more expensive, but it turned out to only be $20.14/person after tax! I think I'd like to go again sometime, it was so delicious~

I did my nails for once too! ~~(this post is just all over the place)~~ I was kind of inspired by my co-worker's design and of course, the Valentine season. I'm using the new sparkle polish I got from my last post!
