Wow i forgot about this blog.Not like i have regular readers but still.I got platinum season 2,not like it was a big achievement.It's still pretty easy to get plat i think.This season i hope i manage to get diamond.I have had a lot of trolls lately, mostly due to the fact that season reset and some people's elo skyrocketted. So that's about it.I'm grinding elo like hell atm as i'm in vacation from uni. Here's some cool tunes i heard lately:

Hello fellow bloggers.I haven't blogged in a while because i was busy with Uni but now i can finally pick it up again.So i just transfered my League of Legends account from EU-W to EU-NE and it was a huge mistake i think. The ammount of trolls and bad players is so high i dropped from 1860 to 1650 in 2 weeks.Now i started picking up elo again and i am slowly rising.I hope i can reach at least 2k-2.1k by the end of the summer.

My favourite streamer The Rain Man has been trying out for MTW-NA in the ''GGChronicle Tournament'' This week and he did great in the games he played.I hope they pick him up because i miss seeing TRM in the competitive scene meng.

Elo Hell.Dunning-Kruger Effect

I stumbled across the Dunning-Kruger effect on the internet a few days ago and i realized that it can actually apply pretty well to the
concept of ELO hell in League of Legends besides the purposes it has in real life.

First of all i agree that it is possible to lose games where you are doing great and your team just feeds and refuses to play good/trolls.But there's an equal
chance you may get win even if you are playing bad because the opposing team has one troll or just plays bad.So according to this if you ACTUALLY are good sooner or later you'll get out of elo hell.

Now the second problem is there are way too many bads that believe they are good because they watched some streams and know what the current meta is.

Most of the times they are actually the reason their team is losing because they will not play at their proper level,they will disconsider teammates because they believe they are indeed good and will just act bad/flame throughout the game.

The illusory superiority of themselves is actually the reason they are in elo hell.

So for my frequent readers i didn't have enough time to write anything new lately.But managed to get my EU account to 30 and had a few ranked games.

For those that do not know season 2 started already and people are tryharding for ELO at the moment.The EU West server had so many issues lately that it's not even fun but meh, hope it will be okay now.

[Guide]Playing an AP carry properly

Although most players can play any role to some extent i suppose everyone is better at a specific role be it bruiser,jungler,ap carry,ad carry or support.I personally love playing ap carry mid/top.
I saw a lot of people fail mid as ap,feeding the enemy and essentially losing the game because they didn't know some pretty basic stuff about playing a burst/harass mid champion.

                I'm planning to make some guides for most of the ap champions that i consider viable but first i will start with some basic stuff about midding.

              The first thing you need to know about playing an Ap carry is that you have to have great positioning.In my opinion positioning is the most important thing,because if you cannot stand from a safe distance to unleash your combo you are useless in a team fight.Besides some champions like Swain,Vladimir,(katarinalol) that have to be in the fight to deal any damage most ap Champions must stay at a safe distance and nuke non-stop.

               There are some champions that require lots of teamplay to play properly and there are some that are viable for solo queue.For every ap carry blue buff is amazing but there are some champions that need it so bad they can't do much without it.Following next week i will make a guide for each ap champion that i consider good and i can play properly.

P.S:I am no longer playing on the N.A servers because the lag was pretty bad .I started a smurf on EU-NE and i managed to get it to level 25 already.In one week i will be 30 and i can start playing ranked again.

How to destroy League of Legends pubstompers

You hate that game in which you are playing good, but that Yi is just too fed.Nothing you can do to that Mordekaiser that will just decimate your entire team alone?That Katarina will press R and kill your entire team.Here is a list of how to counter pubstompers while leveling and at level 30 plus some champions that counter them pretty hard.

#1 Pubstomper ''es numero uno en BR'' Mordekaiser

Mordekaiser is a pretty decent hero and if left uncontrolled he can farm a lot plus if he gets a few kills he will snowball so hard there's nothing you can doto stop him.Even in ranked lots of people have trouble with the giant metal master Mordekaiser.
Mordekaiser is an ap carry/tanky ap/tank type of character with a decimating ultimate.

*Items that counter Mordekaiser:
-Hardest counter to Mordekaiser is magic resistance.Everything you can get your hands on will do wonders against him.
-Quicksilver sash is Absolutely AMAZING and works wonders against the Master of Metal:You use your ultimate on me?K ill just press 1 and cleanse it.
-Mercurial treads,Banshee and Force of Nature are also great choices against Mordekaiser.

One of Mordekaiser's weaknesses is that he is very weak if he gets ganked early on.He is very prone to ganks l because of no innate escape,so if he wastes his flash just go and destroy him.

As well if you are fighting him 1v1 fight him AFTER your creep wave is dead so he wont get full shield just by using AoE.

If you feed Mordekaiser he will develop into a great beast that will eat you,your teammates and your family but if you counter him early on,gank him a lot and you don't let him farm he will remain a metal toy.

Champions that counter Mordekaiser::

-Jax

-Udyr.
*Garen.After the buffs Garen top counters Mordekaiser so hard its not even fun.If you deny his creeps and won't let him farm and buy armor you sill simply burst him in seconds.

#2 Tryndamere the Barbarian

You hate it when that fed Tryndamere 2 shots your entire team and when you almost kill him he ults,kills you too and then just gets away.Yea i hate it too.But you can counter that pretty easy by not letting him get fed/farm. Generally this concept applies to everyone.Not farmed=pretty much useless. The question is how to deny him the farm.Well that's pretty easy.Tryndamere is countered by two things: Crowd Control and Ignite.

Crowd control counters Tryndamere so hard its not even fun.He ults?Okay you taunt him and wait till ult is out.He ults?okay drop stun tibbers + igniteon him and he dies.

*Tryndamere is countered by armor especially by Thornmail so if you are a tank/bruiser DO GET thornamil and stomp on Tryndamere.

Champions that counter Tryndamere:
-Anyone with a CC,silence.

#3 Master Yi

Yey the samurai that Presses R and Right Click to win.Hard to counter?Nah,pretty easy actually.He is almost the same thing as Tryndamere only that he doesn't have an ultimate that makes him invulnerable.So CC counters him EVEN MORE.Besides being incredibly squishy YI is also hard countered by exhaust because
his main damage comes from Autoattack.In case he will build Quicksilver Sash to cleanse it your team has to focus him as fast as possible because he can decimate an entire team pretty fast if left unchecked.

*Yi is countered by armor and stuns as hard as tryndamere is.

Champions that counter Master Yi:

-Annie

-Nasus

-Anyone with a Brain.

Comparing Free to Play HoN to Free to play LoL [Unbiased]

Actually this may be a bit biased towards League of Legend....but anyway few weeks ago i got an email from S2 games telling me that Heroes of Newerth is going free to play.I played it in Beta a bit and when i found out about League of Legends i switched and never looked back one second.
I loved Dota and i have to say it's one of the games that marked my childhood along WoW.So when i first heard about a Dota game with a better engine i was like ''Fuck yea''.It seemed decent to me in Beta and i played a bit of HoN and then i went back to WoW.
When i first played League of Legends i was amused by the cartoon graphics and i didn't think i would ever play that game for too long.After a bit of time it grew close to me and i absolutely love it at the moment.So after my first 3 games in free to play HoN i noticed they actually followed Riot's model only that it's way WORSE for the new players.The heroes seem to be way more expensive,everyone is treating you like garbage and it seems like a trial compared to League of Legends where you actually feel like you're working your way out to buy Champions and Runes and stuff.And at the moment League of Legends just seems to be more complex with all the runes,masteries and things you can mingle with to get the best out of your champion.

Another bad thing that i can't stand about Heroes of Newerth is that the graphics while trying to look amazing is absolutely a clusterfuck for a MOBA type of game.Seriously i can't stand it and you just can't focus with all the flashy stuff around.So i am gonna give it for League of Legends here as well,the simple,cartoon graphics and animations are actually better.

Still i found some good things in Heroes of Newerth as well.First of all i like the community better.Even though it is filled with elitist i can stand that more than i stand trolling,noobs and ragers in ranked in League of Legends.I mean i hate the excuse that they are playing casual and that's why they are feeding.If you don't want to try to play better just go play normal.Heroes of Newerth actually proved that most of the old school dota players are playing it and even if they flame you you are actually learning something instead of losing game after game because of feeders and noobs.

As a conclusion i have to say greed is S2's trademark now and if you actually enjoy HoN you should purchase it as the premium players have way more advantages that may take months to gain as a free to play player.

P.S:I'd still like some of HoN's community to join League of Legends.

League of legends season one ends late august

            So like everyone heard ranked season 1 will end at the end of august,probably at the same time dominion is released.
            RiotMarcou made a post on the League of Legends NA forums about the rewards you get by rating score.Besides the Fact that everyone that played 10 ranked games will get a Kayle skin here are the rating rewards:

Bronze-rated players will receive a bronze banner in their summoner profile.
Silver-rated players will have their summoner icon framed in silver and receive a silver banner in their summoner profile.
Gold-rated players will have their summoner icon framed in gold and will receive a special skin for Jarvan IV, a gold banner in their summoner profile, and a gold forum badge.
Platinum-rated players will have their summoner icon framed in platinum and will receive a special skin for Jarvan IV, a platinum banner in their summoner profile, and a platinum forum badge.

I am currently sitting at around 1380 elo and it is my task to get to 1500 in the following two weeks so i can get the silver-rating rewards.If i focus a lot i think i can do it.

Every post of mine will end in a small tip from now on.Today's tip is: Don't take Perseverence in the masteries support tree anymore.Good hands is way better.Even if you think you don't die you rarely end with 0 deaths in a game.And those few seconds can matter late game.
Even if Good Hands is not an amazing mastery Perseverence is plain useless

Level 3 of Perseverance gives you 4% increased HP and MP regeneration.Once you get 100HP or MP/5, you will gain additional 4 HP or MP /5. Not even 1 mp/5.

The toilet troll in League of Legends

Since i am in summer holiday and i have nothing to do i played loads of LoL today.Almost got my elo at 1400.Got so many trolls i felt as helpless as Hermione was in that bathroom while i raged hard :(.Anyway all is good.Slowly climbing trough the elo hell although it seems in 2 weeks ELO will reset and we will say hello to season 2.
After the new patch people seem to think Pantheon is overpowered again and he's banned like mad.Didn't get a chance to play him but i played against a few times and he seemed fine,Nasus is in my opinion at the moment a really good jungle and that Skarner,the new ugly scorpion champ is so underpowered it's not even fun.He is like Yorick at release.Anyway that's it for today.Peace!

Dominion + League of Legends Talk

I guess everybody heard what will hit us after PaX.Yep a new League of Legends map,completely different from Summoner's Rift and Twisted Treeline.From what i saw in the IGN gameplay video and the trailer,the map seems to be pretty bland and imo it will be so imbalanced it won't even be fun.But meh we'll see.

As for me i managed to get out of 1200's and climbed up to 1350 mostly by playing Jax.I find him extremely fun to play and a tad overpowered at the moment.Next patch Renekton is getting some buffs so i will call it now.He will be the new Flavor of the month.

So in my opinion there really is an elo Hell in League of Legends.Honestly i may not be the best player but i am above average and i can't seem to get past 1400 nowadays.Huge losing streaks,leavers,feeders,ragers,trolls;this game is full of them.

Here's how my match history looks like.Absolutely horrendous

Anyway i am raging so much it's not even fun.Will go cry in my pillow as i go to sleep.Yea really.Picked up Realm of the Titans as well.It's currently in Beta but it seems pretty fun.Will write more about it tomorrow <3

Let's talk about the Patch

So patch 1.0.0.122 is here.An amazing one you would say because we got Yukon the Monkey King yay.Didn't have a chance to play the new champion yet but here are my impressions about the patch:

-First of all more NERF MASTER SUCK TOWN.That is so bad i am getting really mad.Every patch they nerf champions.Every little release must nerf a lot of champs instead of buffing the bad ones.Sorry Riot but that's not the way to go.

Here is the important stuff:

-Annie,Corki,Gangplank and Twisted Fate get hit by the nerf bat.

-Galio got buffed

-Kayle got a rework that in my opinion doesn't really translate into a buff

-New animations/models for Kayle/Janna/Tryndamere

-Tryndamere got a rework as well although i have to try it before i can say if he really was buffed.

Last 2 games went terrible and here i am back to 1300.Hate elo hell.

Last night continued to drink like a sore loser.Ended up being drunk and went to bed at @ 2:00 a.m.After 12 hours of sleep i felt terrible and had a bad hangover all day.

So on to more important stuff.Amy Winehouse is dead.I guess too much alcohol+drugs can harm you really bad.Well i don't care anyway although in my opinion she was a decent singer.But everyone expected her to die so.....R.i.p Amy Winehouse.

I played a bit of League of Legends today.First one played jungle Nocturne.Had a top Udyr that managed to go 0/6 against Singed.Good times.Went around 4/8 and lost like a boss.Second one played lanewick and everyone in my team failed including me.Ended up surrendering around min 25.

Based on the games i played lately i find lane Udyr grossly overpowered,Jarvan is still a beast,people didn't exactly find out why Orianna is so good and Gangplank is finally a good ad carry Yarrr.Too bad he is always banned,i like playing Gangplank.

League of Legends baddie,family off for fishing,gaming marathon

So i am pretty drunk at the moment.Drank some ouzo and beer and it feels pretty good.My parents went fishing for the weekend and i am home alone for a few days.Hmm what can i do.

Played a bit more League of Legends.Crawled out of 1180 to 1350.Played pretty good but the last few games seemed like i had downs syndrome.Played like a kid retard.First one went Irelia top against Udyr and he had around 59 creeps and i had 5.Won anyway because they had a leaver.*laugh*.Second one went Annie mid and managed to go 0/3 in the first 10 min.Won that one as well, like a Boss.Love getting carried.
