Billy Mays Found Dead In Home

Infomercial king Billy Mays, famous for appearing on infomercials and commercials promoting household goods and gadgets, has been found dead inside his Tampa, Fla., home at 7:45 am on Sunday. He was found unresponsive at his home this morning by his wife. However, Tampa police are not suspecting any foul play. Mays is reported to be on board a US Airways flight that blew its front tires while it landed at Tampa airport on Saturday. It was reported that certain passengers had bumps and bruises. However, the authorities have not confirmed or said anything about this incident being the reason of Mays death.

Mays wife is reported to have said, "Although Billy lived a public life, we don't anticipate making any public statements over the next couple of days. Our family asks that you respect our privacy during these difficult times...".

Born William Mays in McKees Rocks, Pa., on July 20, 1958, Billy Mays gathered fame by appearing in TV commercials for products such as Oxiclean and Orange Glo. He was also featured on the reality TV show "Pitchmen" on the Discovery Channel, which followed Mays and Anthony Sullivan in their marketing jobs.

Forex Trading - Important Terms To Know

Forex trading is a great way to earn money. However, if you are new to the currency trading arena, you need to know about the basic terms that are commonly referred to in this area. I have compiled a glossary of these terms used for forex trading.

Ask (Offer) — price of the offer, the price you buy for.

Aussie — a Forex slang name for the Australian dollar.

Bank Rate — the percentage rate at which central bank of a country lends money to the country's commercial banks.

Bid — price of the demand, the price you sell for.

Broker — the market participating body which serves as the middleman between retail traders and larger commercial institutions.

Cable — a Forex traders slang word GBP/USD currency pair.

Carry Trade — in Forex, holding a position with a positive overnight interest return in hope of gaining profits, without closing the position, just for the central banks interest rates difference.

CFD — a Contract for Difference — special trading instrument that allows financial speculation on stocks, commodities and other instruments without actually buying.

Commission — broker commissions for operation handling.

CPI — consumer price index the statistical measure of inflation based upon changes of prices of a specified set of goods.

EA (Expert Advisor) — an automated script which is used by the trading platform software to manage positions and orders automatically without (or with little) manual control.

ECN Broker — a type of Forex brokerage firm that provide its clients direct access to other Forex market participants. ECN brokers don't discourage scalping, don't trade against the client, don't charge spread (low spread is defined by current market prices) but charge commissions for every order.

ECB (European Central Bank) — the main regulatory body of the European Union financial system.

Fed (Federal Reserve) — the main regulatory body of the United States of America financial system, which division — FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) — regulates, among other things, federal interest rates.

Fibonacci Retracements — the levels with a high probability of trend break or bounce, calculated as the 23.6%, 32.8%, 50% and 61.8% of the trend range.

Flat (Square) — neutral state when all your positions are closed.

Fundamental Analysis — the analysis based only on news, economic indicators and global events.

GDP (Gross Domestic Product) — is a measure of the national income and output for the country's economy; it's one of the most important Forex indicators.

GTC (Good Till Cancelled) — order to buy or sell of a currency with a fixed price or worse. The order is alive (good) until execution or cancellation.

Hedging — maintaining a market position which secures the existing open positions in the opposite direction.

Jobber — a slang word for a trader which is aimed toward fast but small and short-term profit from an intra-day trading. Jobber rarely leaves open positions overnight.

Kiwi — a Forex slang name for the New Zealand currency — New Zealand dollar.
Leading Indicators — a composite index (year 1992 = 100%) of ten most important macroeconomic indicators that predicts future (6-9 months) economic activity.

Limit Order — order for a broker to buy the lot for fixed or lesser price or sell the lot for fixed or better price. Such price is called limit price.

Liquidity — the measure of markets which describes relationship between the trading volume and the price change.

Long — the position which is in a Buy direction. In Forex, the primary currency when bought is long and another is short.

Loss — the loss from closing long position at lower rate than opening or short position with higher rate than opening, or if the profit from a position closing was lower than broker commission on it.

Lot — definite amount of units or amount of money accepted for operations handling (usually it is a multiple of 100).

Margin — money, the investor needs to keep at broker account to execute trades. It supplies the possible losses which may occur in margin trading.

Margin Account — account which is used to hold investor's deposited money for FOREX trading.

Margin Call — demand of a broker to deposit more margin money to the margin account when the amount in it falls below certain minimum.

Market Order — order to buy or sell a lot for a current market price.

Market Price — the current price for which the currency is traded for on the market.

Momentum — the measure of the currency's ability to move in the given direction.

Moving Average (MA) — one of the most basic technical indicators. It shows the average rate calculated over a series of time periods. Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA) etc. are just the ways of weighing the rates and the periods.

Offer (Ask) — price of the offer, the price you buy for.

Open Position (Trade) — position on buying (long) or selling (short) for a currency pair.

Order — order for a broker to buy or sell the currency with a certain rate.

Pivot Point — the primary support/resistance point calculated basing on the previous trend's High, Low and Close prices.

Pip (Point) — the last digit in the rate (e.g. for EUR/USD 1 point = 0.0001).

Profit (Gain) — positive amount of money gained for closing the position.

Principal Value — the initial amount of money of the invested.

Realized Profit/Loss — gain/loss for already closed positions.

Resistance — price level for which the intensive selling can lead to price increasing (up-trend).

Scalping — a style of trading notable by many positions that are opened for extremely small and short-term profits.

Settled (Closed) Position — closed positions for which all needed transactions has been made.

Slippage — execution of order for a price different than expected (ordered), main reasons for slippage are — "fast" market, low liquidity and low broker's ability to execute orders.

Spread — difference between ask and bid prices for a currency pair.

Standard Lot — 100,000 units of the base currency of the currency pair, which you are buying or selling.

Stop-Limit Order — order to sell or buy a lot for a certain price or worse.

Stop-Loss Order — order to sell or buy a lot when the market reaches certain price. It is used to avoid extra losses when market moves in the opposite direction. Usually is a combination of stop-order and limit-order.

Support — price level for which intensive buying can lead to the price decreasing (down-trend).

Swap — overnight payment for holding your position. Since you are not physically receiving the currency you buy, your broker should pay you the interest rate difference between the two currencies of the pair. It can be negative or positive.

Technical Analysis — the analysis based only on the technical market data (quotes) with the help of various technical indicators.

Trend — direction of market which has been established with influence of different factors.

Unrealized (Floating) Profit/Loss — a profit/loss for your non-closed positions.

Useable Margin — amount of money in the account that can be used for trading.

Used Margin — amount of money in the account already used to hold open positions open.

Volatility — a statistical measure of the number of price changes for a given currency pair in a given period of time.

VPS (Virtual Private Server) — virtual environment hosted on the dedicated server, which can be used to run the programs independent on the user's PC. Forex traders use VPS to host trading platforms and run expert advisors without unexpected interruptions.

A 22 year old American student is reported to be advertising to sell her virginity against cash. This San Diego student, is reported to be selling her virginity through the website of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a large brothel located in the state of Nevada. Natalie Dylan is reported to be doing this in order to pay for her college tution fees for completing the Masters Degree in Family and Marriage Therapy.

Her unusual auction had hit the news around September 2008 and at that time her virginity was bid at around $243000. Natalie appeared on shock jock Howard Stern’s radio show to publicise the auction and bids rocketed as a result. It is reported that she has recieved around 10000 bids since then. The highest bid, of $3.8 million, is reported to be made by an unnamed Australian businessman.

Virgin Mary Look Alike Busty Models Trigger Outrage

Exhibition of busty models, who were dressed up like Virgin Mary, has trigerred an outrage in Chile. According to Yahoo News the models, in some cases with ample near naked breasts, wore outfits designed by prominent designer Ricardo Oyarzun. This exhibition has been condemned by the Roman Catholic Church while a conservative group unsuccessfully tried to block it in court.

"There is no pornography here, there's no sex, there are no virgins menstruating or feeling each other up," Oyarzun said ahead of the catwalk show set to be held at a Santiago nightclub later on Thursday. "This is artistic expression." He said his designs -- which include halos, look as though they come from a nativity scene and include religious icons -- were inspired by the Virgin Mary but not intended to represent her.

How To Stay Away From Cancer While Leading A Better Life Style

Cancer is a disease which can occur in any part of our body. It is generally caused when body cells in a particular region starts multiplying and grows more in number than required by that organ. These multiple cells take form of tumor. Cancer causing factors may be hereditary or a persons eating habit and lifestyle. Hence it becomes essential for everybody to make a change in ones eating habit and daily routine to ensure prevention of cancer. The first and foremost thing to be done is to drastically reduce the intake of junk food. Processed and junk foods add empty calories. Eatables like burger, pizza, wafers, French fries etc have very high salt content which increases the sodium level of our body leading to cancer in future. Where as sweet tasting junk foods add excessive calories. Processed food like bread, salami, luncheon meat, sausages etc should also not be eaten much. Energy drinks and sweet processed juices are a strict no. It is very essential to improve ones dietary habits for ensuring a healthy life. Fruits and vegetables in either raw or lightly cooked form should be taken at least 5 times in a day in small portions. Salad has to be eaten 4 times a week. Smoking of any kind is a strictly prohibited as it leads to lung and oral cancer. In women alcohol and cigarettes, both have been found culprit for breast cancer. There are basic things like 5 liters of water per day, avoidance of excessive caffeine, staying away from red meat etc which have to be taken care of. Sleep too has been vaguely related to cancer. Proper sleep is very essential as the body is much more active and digestion too is proper if we have an 8 hour sleep. However in today's competitive world late nights and rave parties seem to be a craze. But knowing all the pros and cons and drawbacks of this lifestyle it is sensible to maintain a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle would assure us long and tension free life. This car will make its debut on 20th January as part of the inaugaral parade. Though due to security reasons the specifications of this vehicle have not been revealed by the security agencies.

Funny Things We Dream

I often wonder why I wake up so happy, ready to start the day. When I was younger I'd whack the alarm clock, for the fourth time, grumble out of bed and stomp around with a major sour puss. Now I'm up before the alarm clock most mornings, and I don't grumble, not as often as I used to anyway. I'm often anxious to see what the day will bring.

I think I've stumbled upon the reason for my early rise and my cheery outlook. My wife. Yes, she brightens up my days and has given me tremendous motivation, though she still sleeps later than I do, and she tends to grumble, though not too badly.

There's another reason, and this also involves my wife. I believe that laughter is the best medicine, and she makes me laugh. More so, I think a happy attitude is contagious, and the reason I wake up happy might be this: my wife laughs in her sleep.

I kid you not. She laughs out loud. So loud that I'm frequently awakened by her nocturnal guffaws. Sometimes it begins as a chuckle, but many times the laughter just erupts, like she just saw the funniest thing in the world. How can I help but be amused and feel happy myself when I'm treated to this many nights out of a week.

There's more... while still asleep, she tells me what she was laughing about. Here's are the most recent accounts...

One night she rolls over and begins her laughing. I wake up, and wait for her to settle down. Then I ask "What's so funny?"

I wasn't expecting a response, but to my surprise she answered me while still sound asleep. She said "Mrs. Juniper said the juniper wouldn't grow much taller than two feet, but she planted it and the damn thing took off, and it's still growing! Ha ha ha ha...." Then she began to snore again.

I shook my head, rolled over and settled in for the remainder of the night, knowing that we'd both get a kick out the story when I recalled it the following day. We did.

The most recent episode was even better, stranger. This time it seemed like I was already awake before she started laughing, maybe she had been chuckling first and that roused me. Either way, when she stopped her laughter I decided to see if she would talk again.

I asked "Okay, what's so funny this time?"

Her reply was classic. A truly original rambling by a sleeping brain. She said "Orville Redenbacher's plane wouldn't fly so they were trying to hang Orville Redenbacher's plane over the bed by a string. Ha ha ha ha...." Then she conked out.

Again I shook my head, rolled over and anticipated the break of day, when I would share the tale from her sleeping brain with her alert brain. I couldn't wait to see her reaction.

I ask you, being a natural marvel, capable of great intellect, doesn't the human brain have better things to think about? The mechanics of slumbering gray matter perplex me.

Why she laughs in her sleep I don't know, but I'm glad she does. I'm happily married, and I assure you, that will never change!

I'm looking forward to more of her one liners from la-la-land. Can there be more? I'll keep you posted. Heck, if I collect enough maybe I'll write a book!

The impact of credit crunch is becoming fatal for UK's economy. The recent free fall of bank stock prices has shaken the confidence of people in the economy, on one hand, while causing the loss of wealth on the other.

According to BBC -

"Barclays was worst hit, down 25%, while Royal Bank of Scotland, which is almost 60% state-owned, closed 13% lower.

Barclays has insisted that this year's profits will be "well ahead" of the £5.3bn in some pessimistic forecasts.

The bank took the unusual step of revealing some profit details - two weeks ahead of the official release."

This definitely is adding to concerns, amidst of a scenario where organisations are closing down due to losses and people are loosing their jobs.

I have always loved gaming. When I used to play computer games, the games used to be on the cd's which my father would bring for me and I would play the same on my computer. But its really nice to see that the whole gaming scenario has now changed. Online games have taken over the video games, CDs and DVDs.

I was quite surprised when my elder son - 8 years old now, introduced me to the whole new world of online gaming. He showed me this new MEGA Brands Kids Zone. Untill now I was under the impression that in order to play online games you have to register with the game companies and you have to pay for playing games. But to my pleasant surprise if your kids want to play games on this site they will have to register but would never have to pay anything for playing games. So that means you get to play unlimited games without paying anything.

When I asked my son about the games available on this site, he took me through a lot of games that were available on the Mega Brands Kids Zone including, Pirates of Caribbean, Legend King Arthur, Pyrates and many more. He told me his favorite game was Pirates of Caribbean since he loves Captain Jack Sparrow leading and navigating his ship and crew through the map and hostilities of the enemies.

“She put her hand in…and touched this thing,” said the mother. “I pulled her hand away…ran across to the nearest toilet and washed her hands.”

As you might expect, the mother was quite upset by what happened to her little girl. After the incident, she immediately called the girls father and he also made a visit to the store.

The mother was quite traumatized by the entire incident. “She thought it was a rubber glove,” said the mother, “and I haven’t told her anything different….I couldn’t sleep that night thinking about it. It’s a sick person that does something like that to a children’s sweeties. I was sickened by the whole thing.”

Thankfully, Woolworth’s took proper action and closed down the candy bin area so they could give it a thorough cleaning. According to a representative, the bins had been cleaned shortly before the incident occurred. “The item was found at 2:30 pm, but a full check of all the pick’n’mix occurred at noon,” said the representative. “We can therefore be sure it was placed in the section between these times and not at any other point in the supply process….Staff immediately cleaned the entire section of pick’n’mix as soon as they were made aware of the issue. We apologize for any upset caused by the incident.”

Here at CondomMan, we are glad to hear that condoms are being put to good use for safe sex practices. At the same time, this certainly is not the proper way to dispose of used condoms. So, we thought this little story offered a great opportunity to discuss what you should do with condoms once you are done with them.

Many people decide to flush their condoms down the toilet. While this is certainly a convenient way to get rid of a condom (and is a far better option than throwing it in a jar of candy, for goodness sake!), it is not exactly good for the environment – or for your plumbing. Condoms can actually clog up the pipes in your home, which can be costly to repair and can be a bit embarrassing when you call out the plumber to clear your pipes of condoms. In addition, they don’t break down like other waste material when they are in water. Therefore, they can potentially pollute the waters when flushed.

The good news is that most condoms are biodegradable when buried in the ground. This means that, when you throw them away in the trash so they can make their way to a landfill, they will eventually break down. Just don’t wrap your condom up in plastic before you toss it in the trash, as the plastic barrier will prevent the break down from occurring.

So, I know it may sound strange, but the best way to get rid of a condom is to simply throw it away in the garbage!

It is truly a rare thing to hear a college student say that he is bored when there is just so much college fun to be had. Campuses are oozing with fun, even during dead week. College fun comes in all kinds of activities, and depending on who you are and what you like to do that is fun, you could end up having the time of your life in school with a little social effort.

When people hear the words college fun, the first thing that comes to many minds are the very cliche college parties. Drinking, sex, and more drinking make up the framework of the college party world, and what on Earth is more fun than a party? Contrary to popular belief, however, the majority of college parties are fairly law abiding, just dont card anyone, and rarely are law enforcement officials called out. Parties at college do live up to their reputation as far as having a good time goes, and most grads look back at their days at school and always think of the parties with a chuckle.

College fun for most people includes going to the sporting events, spearheaded by those great activities known as tailgate parties, more partying. Dressing in jerseys, gussied up in paint in the colors of the school and screaming at the top of your lungs in support of your college team takes a lot of energy. College party people know this, which is why before the games they tailgate and barbeque hours before game time.

The need for college fun is also fed with hundreds of different clubs, groups, and activities that are actually school related. Science clubs, music groups, sports teams, and special interest organizations provide a much needed break from the intense studying that leads to the ultimate goal of education: the college degree. These groups for fun can surround students with others that have common interests, which opens their social world up, and being around peers that are like yourself is a great way to decompress.

College fun varies immensely depending on the student and his or her likes and dislikes. From self defense classes to the chess club to intramural sports, taking advantage of the hundreds of opportunities to have a little fun creates an important balance between difficult, sometimes impossible, coursework and having time to do things that you really enjoy, like taking a shopping trip with the girls in your sorority. Case in Point: Get out there and have fun at college, because the years go by very quickly. The closer you get to graduating and working, the farther away from being a child and playing you will become.

Many Ways To Server Others

We, as humans, are born with a natural compassion for others. Sometimes that compassion is lost, but for the most part we all possess it to one degree or another. We cry in sympathy for a friend who's going through a rough time. We feel like our heart might break when we see the suffering of a child.

And if we find someone who is in need of assistance we automatically move to help them. Helping others is a way of helping ourselves. It generally makes us feel happier and more fulfilled in our lives. Unfortunately, we don't always know how to go about helping another person. Life gets busy and time gets short, money gets tight, or we just don't think about it, but for those of us wanting to serve others there are a number of ways we can do it.

Many people serve others through small, random acts of kindness. They help the mother with her groceries when her hands are full of children. They mow the lawn of the elderly neighbor who can't do it himself. They stop and help the person broken down on the side of the road.

These small seemingly insignificant acts mean so much to the person receiving them. They make them feel like a person, not just an invisible being. Suddenly they believe they are worth something. Even the mere act of smiling at a stranger can brighten their day. The tiny things sometimes mean the most.

Of course, the few things mentioned above are not the only ways to serve others. A lot of people choose to volunteer at soup kitchens, the food bank, homeless shelters, habitat for humanity, etc. They choose to give some of their time to make another person's life better. Sometimes the effects of volunteer work can be reciprocal.

After hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans habitat for humanity moved in and began building new homes for those who had lost theirs. Many of the volunteers were friends and neighbors who had also lost their homes. They all worked together to erect entire communities to replace the ones that were lost. By helping others they truly helped themselves.

Donating money to charities is another popular way of helping others. This is perfect for the individual who truly does not have time to volunteer but wants to give back in some way. There are thousands of charities out there to choose from. People can donate to a community charity, an online charity, or even a charity that is meant to benefit the poor people of another country. The opportunities are endless. You just have to find the one that works for you and go for it.

Serving others actually has a ripple effect. It is not uncommon for a person who has been helped to turn around and help another. It's called paying it forward. Next time you help someone keep that in mine. You never know who will be affected because of your kindness.

Recession is one word which we all fear and the reason is simple because simply said there is now growth especially for the companies and the economy as a whole.

By Now, I'm a Expert at Memory Loss

I sat down to write my weekly humor column, but I just could not remember what I wanted to write about. This seems to be an increasingly more common affliction, ever since I turned 40. For instance, like most people over 40, I often can't remember my age.

In fact, I am quite certain I am not yet 40. How do I know? Well, I can't remember turning 40, for starters.

But memory loss is nothing new for me. It began when I was born. Try as I might, I just cannot remember being born. This strikes me as strange. Birth is arguably the most momentous and triumphant event in a person's life. It is the reason I am alive. It is my coming out party. Birth is a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and a fairly important prerequisite for developing proper social etiquette.

People even celebrate the anniversary of my birth every year by converging on my house or throwing heart-attack-inducing Surprise!! parties. But strangely, none of the birthday celebrations have helped me remember my birth. Even stranger is that people who could have no memory of my birth, such as my wife and younger brothers, keep celebrating it.

Perhaps memory loss is the result of trauma. We block out from our memory traumatic events. Like birth, for instance. Imagine being squeezed through a steel toilet paper tube with mucus and blood and other assorted ooey gooey stuff, with something resembling an alien tentacle protruding from where your bellybutton is supposed to be.

Sure, birth was my highest moment of triumph, but I am in no hurry to repeat it. I prefer to retire while I am still at the top of your game.

I have never been able to remember names either. Perhaps that is because meeting people is also traumatic. I, on the other hand, find it traumatic to meet old people. One reason I work from home, sitting in front of a computer screen, might be to avoid too many stand-up receptions trying to remember the names of strangers I'm supposed to know. I just can't remember their names.

It's not totally true. I can often remember names, I just can't seem to attach them to faces, which I hear is a common problem. Like many people, my brain-glue was recalled for factory defects. I should have opened that recall notice when it arrived.

One game you can play to help attach names to faces is pin-the-name-on-the-donkey. This works great for people with defective brain-glue, because it uses ins instead of glue. I suggest you do this in your mind, not in the actual reception room. Many people object to having things pinned to their faces, and a few might even object to being called donkeys. Most importantly, you could be in violation of local safety ordinances, especially if you use a stapler.

Another common strategy many people use to remember names is to repeat the person's name several times. However, I think that sounds a bit silly.

"And who are you?"

"It's Trina."

"Hi Trina, how are you?"

"Just great. How are the kids?"

"Trina, the kids are doing very well. How are yours?"

"I don't have kids."

"I see, Trina."

"After meeting every month at this function for the past decade, I thought you would remember that I have no kids. By the way, why do you keep repeating my name?"

Perhaps meeting people is less traumatic than being born. At least I do remember meeting people, and not always waking up in a cold sweat. And I do remember their names. And I do remember their faces. And I even remember a few of their birthdays. But try as I might, I don't remember any of them being born.

Now, what was I going to write about this week? I just can't remember.
