In tropical rainforests, it's always warm and wet. Rain falls almost every day, making the soil very rich and perfect for plants to grow. These forests are like giant green blankets covering the land, with layers of tall trees, smaller trees, vines, and plants all stacked on top of each other.

The animals in tropical rainforests are just as diverse as the plants. There are colorful birds, slithery snakes, playful monkeys, and so many more creatures living in these forests. Each animal has its own special role to play in keeping the forest healthy.

But even though tropical rainforests are amazing, they are also in danger. People are cutting down the trees to make room for farms and cities, which is causing many plants and animals to lose their homes.
