1. Go to Setting -> Installed apps -> All, find the app. My case the ads app under "com.android.comp.download.mgra001"
2. Disable the app (on bottom)

You have to root your phone if want to uninstall the app

CyanogenMod cannot download google market apps

Error: Trying to install market apps, it starts downloading for a second or so and then stops. It happen on large app (more than 5Mb) files.

Reason :
To download an app from google market, android required a cache.This cache folder is located in /cache partition (it's called /cache/download).
But this partition (with a size of about 40Mb on HTC Desire) contains also others caches, notably the dalvik-cache(used to accelerate the boot of android) which has a size of...35Mb !
That why "big" apps can't be downloaded using the market but small ones can be downloaded without any issues.
This also explain the "not enough space" message in logs which does not refer to the internal or external memory but to the space of /cache/download folder.
Concerning S2E, it's only works if your sdcard is mounted under /sd-ext. For users mounted on /sdcard, another solution is to create a symlink of /cache/download which point to a folder in your sdcard.

Solution:
To clarify for anyone who isn't quite sure how to do this, enter these commands in the terminal emulator:

ln -s /mnt/sdcard/market-download-cache download

MILWAUKEE – Here's a way you might save $20 this year: Change the font in the documents you print.

Because different fonts require different amounts of ink to print, you could be buying new printer cartridges less often if you wrote in, say, Century Gothic rather than Arial. Schools and businesses could save thousands of dollars with font changes.

Data on the subject from Printer.com, a Dutch company that evaluates printer attributes, persuaded the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to make a switch. Diane Blohowiak, coordinator of information-technology user support, has asked faculty and staff to use Century Gothic for all printed documents. The school also plans to change its e-mail system so it uses Century Gothic.

"The feedback we've gotten so far has been positive," she said. "Century Gothic is very readable."

The school of 6,500 students spends about $100,000 per year on ink and toner cartridges. Although students and staff can change the default font to something more ink-intensive, Blohowiak said the university expects to save $5,000 to $10,000 per year with the font switch.

When Printer.com tested popular fonts for their ink-friendly ways, Century Gothic and Times New Roman topped the list. Calibri, Verdana, Arial and Sans Serif were next, followed by Trebuchet, Tahoma and Franklin Gothic Medium. Century Gothic uses about 30 percent less ink than Arial.

The amount of ink a font drains is mainly driven by the thickness of its lines. A font with "narrow" or "light" in its name is usually better than its "bold" or "black" counterpart, said Thom Brown, an ink researcher at Hewlett-Packard Co., the world's top maker of printers.

Also, serif fonts — those with short horizontal lines at the top and bottom of characters — tend to use thinner lines and thus less ink than a "sans serif" counterpart.

But while using less ink at home can help you buy roughly one fewer printer cartridge each year, it's not necessarily better for the environment.

That's because some fonts that use less ink, including Century Gothic, are also wider. A document that's one page in Arial could extend to a second page if printed in Century Gothic. Blohowiak said her research suggests that ink comprises the main cost of a printout, but the environmental costs of paper are probably higher.

"Maybe the individual characters use less ink, but if you're using more paper, that's not so green, is it?" said Allan Haley, director of "words and letters" at Monotype Imaging Inc. in Woburn, Mass., which developed Century Gothic.

Also, Century Gothic was designed for limited blocks of text such as titles and headlines, not for full documents, said Haley, who describes fonts as his "children." Despite Printer.com's research and UW-Green Bay's experience, Haley said he still recommends Times New Roman or Arial for their readability.

The standard advice for trimming printing expenses still applies: Print in "draft mode," if you can. Use both sides of a page and do a print preview to make sure you're not printing pages with useless text such as a copyright line. Using an ink-saving font is just one more technique to consider.

And the greenest way to save on ink is not to print at all.

The "Error 99″ is generic in nature as the exact cause of the error is undetermined until examined by a Canon Factory technician. This error condition may be caused by several different factors. To assist in narrowing down the possible cause of this error we have provided the following troubleshooting checklist. Please note not all items will apply depending on your camera configuration. After attempting each procedure, attempt to use the camera to determine if the error condition is resolved.

NON-CANON LENS
A non-Canon lens when used on a Canon EOS body may not provide full electronic communication and may cause error “99″ to be displayed. To determine if this is the source of the error, considering testing your camera with a Canon EF lens. You may need to consider having your lens manufacturer inspect your lens for communication/compatibility issues with the Canon EF auto-focus system if the issue only occurs with your non-Canon lens. Usually such issues can be corrected through hardware and/or firmware updates provided by the lens manufacturer. However, Canon does not endorse or provide any guarantees of reliability when third party lenses are used.

CLEANING CONTACTS
Oils, dirt, dust and other factors may cause communication issues between the camera body and the attached lens. Please find instructions below to correctly clean the contacts on the lens and on the camera body.

- Remove the lens from the camera body
- Using the “eraser head” of a standard pencil, gently clean the contacts on the lens
- While holding the camera in a downward position (to avoid debris from falling into camera), clean the contacts (pins) on the lens mount
- After cleaning the lens and body contacts, use a soft cloth to gentle wipe the contacts clean
- Attempt to use the camera again to see if the problem has been resolved.

INSUFFICIENT OR LOW BATTERY POWER
- Ensure the battery pack being used has sufficient power (if in doubt recharge battery pack)
- Remove and re-attach the battery to ensure a proper connection (remove the battery pack for at least 60 seconds)
- If a battery grip is being utilized, remove the grip to determine if this is the cause of the error

LENS ISSUE
- Remove and re-attach the lens to see if the error clears.
- To further determine the source of this condition, you may consider testing the camera with another lens. If this error seems to occur only with a specific lens, the lens may require inspection.

MEMORY CARD
- It some circumstances, this error can be due to the memory card be used.
- Attempt to use another memory card in the camera, to see if the condition clears.
- Additionally it is recommended the card be formatted in the camera for best compatibility. For more information on formatting the memory card, consult your camera’s operational manual.

RESETTING CAMERA
- If all the above suggestions have failed to resolve this condition, then it is recommended the camera be reset to default settings.
- To reset the camera to default settings, it is necessary to be in one of the creative shooting modes (i.e P, Tv, Av, M).
- Reset any personal or custom functions as well (if applicable).

　　6.用意不用力太极拳论云：此全是用意不用力。练太极拳全身松开，不便有分毫之拙劲，以留滞于筋骨血脉之间以自缚束，然后能轻灵变化，圆转自如。或疑不用力何以能长力？盖人身之有经络，如地之有沟壑，沟壑不塞而本行，经络不闭则气通。如浑身僵劲满经络，气血停滞，转动不灵，牵一发而全身动矣。若不用力而用意，意之所至，气即至焉，如是气血流注，日日贯输，周流全身，无时停滞。久久练习，则得真正内劲，即太极拳论中所云:“极柔软，然后极坚刚”也。太极拳功夫纯熟之人，臂膊如绵裹铁，分量极沉；练外家拳者，用力则显有力，不用力时，则甚轻浮，可见其力乃外劲浮面之劲也。不用意而用力，最易引动，不足尚也。

　　7.上下相随上下相随者，即太极拳论中所云:其根在脚，发于腿，主宰于腰，形于手指，由脚而腿而腰，总须完整一气也。手动、腰动、足动，眼神亦随之动，如是方可谓之上币相随。有一不动，即散乱也。

　　8.内外相合太极拳所练在神，故云：“神为主帅，身为驱使”。精神能提得起，自然举动轻灵。架子不外虚实开合;所谓开者，不但手足开，心意亦与之俱开，所谓合者，不但手足合，心意亦与之俱合，能内外合为一气，则浑然无间矣。

　　9.相连不断外家拳术，其劲乃后天之拙劲，故有起有止，有线有断，旧力巳尽，新力未生，此时最易为人所乘。太极拳用意不用力，自始至终，绵绵不断，周而复始，循环无穷。原论所谓“如长江大河，滔滔不绝”，又日 “运劲如抽丝”，皆言其贯串一气也。

　　10.动中求静外家拳术，以跳掷为能，用尽气力，故练习之后，无不喘气者。太极拳以静御动，虽动犹静，故练架子愈慢愈好。使则呼吸深长，气沉丹田，自无血脉愤张之弊。学者细心休会，庶可得其意焉。

狮子放野外4年后认出昔日主人

40年前收养幼狮当宠物

据英国媒体3日报道，1969年，两名英国男子收养了一只名叫克里斯蒂安的雄狮幼崽，后来将它放归到肯尼亚一处森林公园。4年后，这两名英国男子重返非洲寻找克里斯蒂安。让他们做梦也没想到的是，克里斯蒂安携带雌狮和幼崽们在当年放归它的地方等着旧主人的到来。这段“人狮重逢”的罕见录像最近被人传上网，短短几周中就获得了至少1600万人次的点击率。

据报道，1969年，两名25岁的英国伦敦男子约翰·里达尔和艾斯·布克花了262.5英镑从百货商店中买回了一只3个月大的狮子幼崽——这只幼狮就是克里斯蒂安。

我是前夫的初恋

　　前老公是我的第三个男朋友，而我却是他的初恋，他的初吻、初夜都给了我。曾经处在失恋之痛的我，被他的关心和安慰感动，于是走进围城。我还暗自庆幸自己找到一个没有任何感情经历的男人，觉得这样就得到了他全部的爱。

　　新婚那两年，我们的确甜甜蜜蜜。他像一个喜欢糖果的孩子一样，迷恋着我所有的一切。每天他都是下班就回家，在家帮我做饭洗衣，甚至给我洗脚按摩。只要工作不忙，他就会粘在我身边，甚至是我周末出差，他也会跟去，前前后后的照应着。其实，结婚前他是连袜子都让他妈妈洗的。

　　两个月后，他回来了。回来的他对我说：“我想离婚。”我问：“为什么？”他说：“外面的世界很精彩，我觉得她比你更适合我。”既然他的选择是别的女人，我无话可说。

蜜袋鼯是一種有袋動物(有袋的溫血動物像袋鼠和沙袋鼠),蜜袋鼯產於澳洲紐幾內亞和南澳洲,大多數時間在樹上活動。蜜袋鼯的身體兩側擁有滑行膜, 從手關節延伸到腳踝,有利牠們在樹林間滑行。蜜袋鼯是夜行性動物, 活躍的時間在晚上,日間則在睡覺。牠們是雜食動物即他們吃植物和昆蟲, 雄性蜜袋鼯有兩個氣味線, 主要是用來標示地盤, 其一氣味線在腹部,另一個在頭頂,牠們利用腹部的氣味線反覆在標示地盤的物體上摩擦, 雄性蜜袋鼯會利用頭頂的氣味線在雌性蜜袋鼯的下巴摩擦留下標記, 雌性蜜袋鼯有一個囊袋在中間腹部.
多數蜜袋鼯在七個月至一年之間的年紀開始繁殖,就像袋鼠. 蜜袋鼯有一個非常短的懷孕期大約16天, 之後會生出一隻到三隻的無毛小幼鼯。小幼鼯一出生會順著雌鼯腹部的毛皮進入雌鼯的囊袋,大約十天後可以從囊袋口看到幼鼯, 袋內附有乳頭會保留二到三個月。開眼的一個月後幼鼯準備斷奶。
住所:
提供一個20"x20"x20"(50x50x50cm)網籠, 或更大的空間讓牠們攀爬. 蜜袋鼯喜歡咀嚼木頭, 網籠內應放置天然的木頭和樹枝供咀嚼.攀爬. 橡木,水果樹木(櫻桃, 蘋果梨等),楊柳,和白楊木是可接受的。不要使用被殺蟲劑噴洒的任何樹木。住所內需提供一個黑暗的巢箱供躲藏和睡覺,巢箱應該是封閉式並留一個出入孔,暴露在明亮的太陽可能損壞密袋鼯敏感的眼睛。簡單的白色無味衛生紙或毛巾紙、乾草或白楊木芯片可以被使用作為臥墊。避免使用雪松,杉木削片,這些臥墊材料可能導致眼睛,鼻子,喉嚨,肺,皮膚過敏.

蛋白質和鈣質的缺乏是密袋鼯普遍發生的問題,這些缺乏起因於哺養不正當的飲食。由於密袋鼯類似嚙齒目動物(飛行灰鼠),新手常接受不正確的觀念,僅哺養他們的密袋鼯吃種子和蔬菜,實際上,密袋鼯不僅吃水果和蔬菜,而且需要動物性蛋白質,譬如昆蟲(參見飲食)。鈣質缺乏也許會呈現食慾不振,肌肉虛弱,顫抖,心律不正,骨骼損壞引起的瘸脚,脊椎斷裂的癱瘓,飲食的疏忽通常會導致死亡,請盡早改變正確飲食方式.蛋白質和維生素缺乏可能導致免疫系統失衡,黏膜炎,食慾不振,體重下降..等.嚴密監測您的籠子外界防止狗貓攻擊導致精神創傷而致命。另外,由於密袋鼯的體型很小需防止逃脫到儲櫃下方,器具裡或從門縫溜到室外。

4.Start the DevCertRequest program
It’ll be easier if you name all the files as gnubox
=Step1: Select as output file for your *.csr file
=Step2: If you dont have ACS pub ID , select No. Then select your key output *.key file name , and fill password.
ps: for Step1 and 2, have the files output to ur desktop.
=Step3: Fill Personal info
=Step4: Add capabilities (i selected all)
=Step5: Finish Developer cert request. Then *.csr file will created.
- Login in to Symbiansigned.com, ** “My Symbian Signed” tab

- Will automatically change to Dev cert page. You can download dev cert, *.cer to the desktop

Signing The File
- Go to “Start” -> “Run” -> type command
- In the command prompt, type cd (then go to your sissign dir) (enter)
- Then type signsis -o -s -v gnubox.sis gnuboxs.sis gnubox.cer gnubox.key password (enter)

example: signsis -o -s -v c:\gnubox.sis c:\gnuboxs.sis c:\gnubox.cer c:\gnubox.key xxxx (enter)

CONFIGURATION :

I’m using LAN and not dial-up ADSL.

Please install your gnubox on ur phone first…
Install mRouter on your PC also..

ON YOUR PC (Microsoft BT stack)
Switch on BT on ur PC and ur fone.

Step1: Right click the BT icon in the system tray, “Open Bluetooth Settings”
go to “COM Ports”.
If it is blank, click on “Add”-> “Incoming (device initiates the connection)”
Look at the COM number…mine is COM4. it varies…let’s put it as COM#

Step2: Go to “Control Panel” -> “Phone and Modem options”. Select the tab “Modem”
Add a modem. Check the box saying “Don’t detect modem”.
Select the type as “Communications cable between two computers”
connected on Bluetooth Serial Port COM#

Step3: Go to “Control Panel” -> “network connections”. Create a new connection
“setup advanced connection” –> “accept incoming connections” –> select ur COM# and uncheck other connections/modems and leave the rest of the stuff as it is and then continue and finish.

Step4: Right click on the mRouter icon on the system tray go to “Connected Device”
Refresh the page until it discovers ur phone. Select your fone in the device selection
screen and click “Next>”.
Uncheck the box where it says “Automatically connect to this device when it is in range”
and click “Finish”

Step5: Now right click on the m-Router taskbar icon and click on “Advanced Settings”
Click on the View button under “Additional COM Ports”
Select the COM Port used by your Bluetooth device (COM#)
After setting the COM Port, click “OK”
Under connectivity methods, look for Additional COM Ports and expand it to make
sure your COM port is there. Click “Close”
Make sure that there is no error message…
Now that our m-Router is all set, let’s configure Gnubox!!

GNUBOX!!

Step1: On the phone, Go to “Tools”->”Settings”->”Connection”->”Access points”
Go to “Options”->”New access point”->”Use default settings”
Name it ‘Bt’ .
Make sure you set it to use ‘Data call’ as the bearer.
Set the number to call to something that cannot be called (e.g 321),
username as abc, password: xyz
Leave the rest as it is…
Then, “Options”->”Advanced Setting” Leave all untouched EXCEPT “Proxy Port Number”.
enter it as 6588(if your internet connection using proxy server,just put the proxy setting)

Step2: Start GnuBox.
Now you should see on the screen that the DialOutISP record is found,
and the phone number you just entered is printed on the screen.
However, the ModemBearer should still show ‘No rec’.
- Select “Options”->”Install”->”Create records”
- Exit gnubox with “Options”->”Exit”
- Start GnuBox again.
- Now you should see on the screen that the ModemBearer is shown and the ‘No rec’ error is gone.
- Create the bluetooth pairing between your phone and the computer.
- Launch GnuBox. Select “Install”->”Set RAS login script”
- Then select “2box bluetooth”->”Serial port”
- On the upcoming device selection dialog, select your computer,
and in the question about encryption click Yes (or OK if you only have that).
- Launch your phone browser and enjoy!!
