If you want to save any web page as pdf you only require chrome.Chrome will let you save any page as pdf.

Let's see how we can do this:

1) Open you web page in chrome.
2)Press ctrl+p.
3)Print dialog will open.In print dialog change destination to "Save As PDF"
4)Hit the print button.

Your web page will be saved as pdf.

Using above steps you can convert any file to pdf. You just have open that file in chrome.

When to use RESTful design for web service development !

A RESTful design may be appropriate when the following conditions are met.

The web services are completely stateless. A good test is to consider whether the interaction can survive a restart of the server.
A caching infrastructure can be leveraged for performance. If the data that the web service returns is not dynamically generated and can be cached, the caching infrastructure that web servers and other intermediaries inherently provide can be leveraged to improve performance. However, the developer must take care because such caches are limited to the HTTP GET method for most servers.
The service producer and service consumer have a mutual understanding of the context and content being passed along. Because there is no formal way to describe the web services interface, both parties must agree out of band on the schemas that describe the data being exchanged and on ways to process it meaningfully. In the real world, most commercial applications that expose services as RESTful implementations also distribute so-called value-added toolkits that describe the interfaces to developers in popular programming languages.
Bandwidth is particularly important and needs to be limited. REST is particularly useful for limited-profile devices, such as PDAs and mobile phones, for which the overhead of headers and additional layers of SOAP elements on the XML payload must be restricted.
Web service delivery or aggregation into existing web sites can be enabled easily with a RESTful style. Developers can use such technologies as JAX-RS and Asynchronous JavaScript with XML (AJAX) and such toolkits as Direct Web Remoting (DWR) to consume the services in their web applications. Rather than starting from scratch, services can be exposed with XML and consumed by HTML pages without significantly refactoring the existing web site architecture. Existing developers will be more productive because they are adding to something they are already familiar with rather than having to start from scratch with new technology.

Problems Encountered:

1) object of provider was null.
    Location provider were off.You can activate them in location and service of settings in your tablet/phone.
2)location object was null.

Formatting a drive in Linux is not a big issue.Linux provide an inbuilt utility "Disks" that can be used for this purpose.Steps for formatting drive using disks are as follow:

1) Open disks utility.

2)Select your drive to format.

3)Click setting icon and click format option.

4)Select erase and format type according to your requirements.

5)Click format.

Now formatting will start.

Start terminal with moving train!

The tool to do that trick is SL. If you use Ubuntu or any other similar distro, just run this command to install SL:

 sudo apt-get install sl

After you get SL installed, to know what it looks like, just open the terminal and run the SL command and the train will start running on your terminal.

To start the matrix when you open the terminal like how I do , all you need to do is to add the "SL" command into a bash config file, i.e /etc/bash.bashrc for root or ~/.bashrc for local user ( if you dont have the file .bashrc in your home folder, just create it anyway). Besides, using SL in console mode is pretty cool too.

Do you need certain information in the form of text from scanned copies of documents.Either you can write the whole text by typing or you can use an OCR software.OCR (optical Character recognition) is method to extract text from images.It can recognise handwritten,printed or typewritten text and can reproduce them into editable word ortxt format. These OCR software also preserve the formmating of the orignal scanned document into converted document.They are not 100% accurate and the converted document still requires some editing.But it is better to use an OCR software and do some editing rather to type the whole Doument.

if you have microsoft office installed in your computer then you won’t need any other third-party software as you can useMicrosoft Office OneNote to copy text from image.

For this you have toinstall MS-Office on your system.

Now openMicrosoft Office OneNote

(Start–>All Programs–>Microsoft Office–>Microsoft Office OneNote).

Drag and Drop the image in the MS-OneNote window from which you want copy the text. NowRight-Click on the image and selectCopy Text From Picture option.

OpenNotepad orMS-Office (where you want save the text) andpaste the content there. Now you have the whole text in your notepad or Ms-Office.You can edit or format it and save only the required excerpt.

Change USB Drive Default Icon!

Have you ever wanted to change your pen drive or any removable drive icon and failed.Then you are at the right place and applying below steps you will succeed. Now let's do

1. Open notepad and Copy-paste the below code in your Notepad:

If you ever wished to run a c/c++ program in visual studio then your wish can become true.Here I will tell you step by step process of compiling and running c/c++ programs in visual studio.

But before that I would like to discuss some advantages of writing a c/c++ program in visual studio.

1.Main advantage is that using visual studio you can write a c/c++ program in window 7 in which most of the other compiler like turbo c does not work.

2.It also supports 64 bit window.

3.If you are already using visual studio then why not to use it.

4.We can create multiple c/c++ files under single project.

Now let’s come on the main topic ‘steps for writing c/c++ program inb visual studio”.

1.Goto File =>New => Project.

2. A new project window will open.In this window under project types section

Goto Other Languages =>Visual C++=>Win32

Now in template select win32 console application.

3.Enter the name of the project ,specify a location for your project directory and click ok.

4.Now win32 application wizard will open.Click next for application setting.In application setting

a)uncheck precompiled header.

b)check empty project.

c)check console application if unchecked.

d)click finsh.

5.A new project will be created. Now in solution explorer right click on source file and goto add=>new item.

6.Add new item window will open.In this window select c++(.cpp).

7.Enter the name of file and click add.

8.A c++ file will be created.Now you want a c file then rename this file to *.c.

The default here will be a file with a *.cpp extension (for a C++ file). After creating the file, save it as a *.c file.

Steps to compile and run:

1. Press the green play button in toolbar.

2. By default, you will be running in debug mode and it will run your code and bring up the command window.
To prevent the command window from closing as soon as the program finishes execution, add the following line to the end of your main function:
getchar();
This library function waits for any input key, and will therefore keep your console window open until a key is pressed.

Start => All Programs => Accessories => Calculator.

2. Open the help-window by pressing the F1 key or clicking on help button .

3. Click the top-left corner icon of the help window once .

4. Select 'Jump to URL'.

5. Type your address into the avaliable field, but remember to type http:// before www

You can do this for fun or when your browser is messed up for some unexplainable reason.

Blocking ads in Chrome is just easy. AdBlock for Chrome is plugin for this purpose. Unfortunately AdBlock does not have an easy way to remove false positives like AdBlock Plus does (as far as I can tell). Also, whereas AdBlock Plus fully stopped ads from being downloaded, because of the restrictions of Chrome, some ads are blocked by AdBlock after they have been downloaded as opposed to being blocked from being downloaded.

Block in Internet Explorer

Blocking ads on Internet Explorer is little bit complicated. Internet Explore has no free ad blocking plugin. So, I will provide you multiple different methods of blocking ads in Internet Explorer - you decide which one is best for you.

USE INPRIVATE BROWSING FILTERING CAPABILITIES

Internet Explorer's InPrivate Browsing - the mode that makes sure no browsing data is stored on your computer - has a feature that allows users to filter content. This filter can be used to block ads. A user on DSLReports forum created an XML file out of AdBlock Plus's list of ads to block and this XML file can be imported into InPrivate Browsing's content filter:

Download the XML file. (Unzip it after downloading.)
Go to "Safety" -> "InPrivate Filtering Settings" and click on "Advanced Settings":

At the "Advanced settings" window click in "Import" and import the XML file you downloaded:

The great thing about using this filter is

It uses AdBlock Plus's filter list so you will be blocking most all ads.
You do not have to be in InPrivate Browsing mode for the ads to be blocked. Ads will be blocked like normal as long as you have "InPrivate Filtering" enabled ("Safety" -> "InPrivate Filtering").

The thing about "InPrivate Filtering" is you must manually turn it on every time you run Internet Explorer. If you find that annoying, a simple registry hack makes "InPrivate Filtering" automatically turn on every time you run Internet Explorer. To do this registry hack

Run regedit.
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Safety\PrivacIE
Right-click, go to "New" -> "DWORD":

Name the new key StartMode:

Right-click the key -> "Modify". Make sure hexadecimal is selected, enter a 1 in the textbox and click OK:

Close regedit. Done! Now every time you run Internet Explorer "InPrivate Filtering" will be turned on and ads will be blocked.

Since this method uses InPrivate Browsing's filter, there is no need to download any plugins. The downside, however, is

The XML file from the DSLReports user is an year old (i.e. AdBlock Plus' filters have been updated since then) so the list does not include the latest ad servers in it (although it still allows you to block most ads you will come across)
You cannot exclude specific websites from the filter (i.e. you can't make it so dotTech ads are not blocked)
It is hard to pinpoint and remove false positives.

IE7PRO

IE7Pro is a plugin for Internet Explorer (works on IE 6/7/8 - not just IE 7) that adds a boatload of useful features to Internet Explorer. One of the features IE7Pro adds is an adblocker. This adblocker, however, is not enabled by default after installing IE7Pro - users have to manually enable it after installation. (Be warned during the installation of IE7Pro you are prompted with - drum roll please - an ad for installing a third party program; don't accidentally install that third party program if you don't want it.):

After the adblocker module has been enabled, you still need to enable the Flash blocker (to block Flash ads). To do this, go to "Preferences" again, click on "Ad Blocker" and enable Flash blocker:

You have the ability to modify filters, add your own filters, and whitelist websites.

Overall I found the ad blocking features of IE7Pro to be very poor; heck it wouldn't even block Google AdSense ads...

SIMPLE ADBLOCK

Simple Adblock is the closest IE users will be able to get to an AdBlock Plus-like plugin. Simple Adblock uses EasyList filters (the one from AdBlock Plus) to block ads so its accuracy in blocking ads is extremely good, although not as good as AdBlock Plus since AdBlock Plus allows for usage of multiple filters. Also, while Simple Adblock does allow users to disable Simple Adblock on a specific website, there is not much users can do to block individual ads or unblock individual ads. Simple Adblock does allow users to customize the filters list, but again, that is is a hassle because users have to modify files located in Simple Adblock's installation folder.

On the brightside, Simple Adblock is very easy to setup, requiring only two inputs from the user after installation:

As I said, Simple Adblock is the closest free plugin Internet Explorer users will get to AdBlock Plus; a word of caution about Simple Adblock though. You should always only install plugins/add-ons/extensions from trusted sources because otherwise you could be installing a browser exploit without knowing it. Simple Adblock is not that well known (thus not fully vetted by the Internet Explorer community) and the developer does not provide any information about him/herself. I am not saying Simple Adblock is a malicious plugin (SiteAdvisor says it is clean, Download.com says it is clean, and I scanned it personally and it came out to be clean); I am saying be cautious.

Install the Blockit

1. Copy the path of extension

Open Blockit

1.Goto Control->Tools->Extension

2.Click options of blockit extension.

3.It will redirect you to the password page of the extension. (When you are using it for the first time, you don’t need to enter any password because you don’t have it). Just click on the “Login” button.

Customize Blockit

1.Now enter the name of websites you want to block.

For example I blocked way2sms. After typing the URLs, click on the “Block” button.

If you want to unblock any website from the list, just delete the URL and then click on “Block” button again or click on "unblock all' . Your option will be saved.

2.If you would like to block all sites except for a select few, enter a '*' on the first line and the websites you wish to allow with a '+' before each line. For example:

.Setting a password is easy too. Scroll below the fold on the BlockIt option page. You’ll find an option to change access password.

If you want to access website then click on “Change settings” link and type your password. It will redirect you to the option page and there you can unblock it.

The context menu or right click option becomes too large after installation of large number of apps. Some apps shortcuts are useful and others are useless .We can put only those items in right click menu which we use frequently.However there is no direct method to remove an item from the right click menu and you have make changes in the registry.

Caution: Backup registry before editing.

1. Open Run from the start menu and enter regedit in it.
2. In Registry Settings window, Navigate to

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellexe\ContextMenuHandlers

3. Now from the list, Right Click on the item which you want to remove from your Context menu.
Select delete from the menu.
Refresh your Desktop and Right Click on any icon and you will be glad to see that unwanted item is removed from context menu.
Along with removing items from the Context Menu you also add System files in it.

Whenever you go online,your computer is assigned an IP address. An IP address is the Internet Protocol (IP) address given to every computer connected to the Internet. An IP address is needed to send information, much like a street address or P.O. box is needed to receive regular mail. Tracing an IP address is actually pretty straightforward, and even though it's not always possible to track down a specific individual, you can get enough information to take action and file a com1plaint.

For example, if there was some guy claiming to be Chuck Norris, and tried to get personal information from your Gmail account, you could view his IP address, and then track him. Here's how:

Following are the steps ip address in gmail header.
