Dallas: Price adjustments are your new favorite way to save money on all of the back-to-school clothes and other items you buy. If your purchased item drops in price, some stores will allow you to bring in your receipt to credit the difference between the price you paid and the current lower price. Each store has their own time allowance and other specifications (i.e. items must be full price).

You heard it here Dallas: American Airlines, Air Tran, and others have just launched TREMENDOUS sales on flights through Christmas from DFW and other airports nationwide. Tickets are up to half off from just a week ago! My favorite site to search for airline tickets is Travelzoo Supersearch. After typing in your desired itinerary, just click on the airline or travel site (i.e. Orbitz, Expedia, or Kayak), and viola, it will open up those windows with your itinerary already entered in!

By the way, after finding a flight on a travel site such as those mentioned above, ALWAYS be sure to go to that airline's website. I have found that the ticket is usually a few dollars cheaper. Remember, Southwest Airlines allows you to check 2 free bags. So take that into account when searching.

One last tip- AirfareWatchdog will provide email alerts for trips on specific days if the price drops below the point you specify. This also includes Southwest.
