Learn to Love Your Body

2010-07-01T08:59:00.000-07:00

Vacation season brings dreams of faraway beaches, exotic romances and languorous days by the pool. But it can also bring tremors of panic about stripping off layers of clothes. If baring your body gives you waves of fear and embarrassment, then clearly you need to get to work on your self-esteem.

You don’t have to drop pounds or go relentlessly to the gym -- you just need to feel good about yourself. If you love your body, it will give off a vibrant glow and you won’t care about what’s not absolutely perfect.

Taurus can veer to the slightly rounded due to their indulgences, but are perfectly content within their frame and don’t care too much what anyone else thinks.

Virgo can be prudish at least on the surface so tends to cover over rather than throw caution to the winds. But when chivvied into relaxing they can be true to their earthy animal nature.

Likewise, Capricorn who can be uptight so needs some persuading to unwind and be bold about their bodies. But once pushed onto the right track they can be almost more sensuous than Taurus.

For outright sensuality, there’s no sign like Scorpio but they’re not ones who relish too much open exposure. They know their body is the vehicle to transcendental bliss so they don’t need too many lessons in loving their physical frame.

Then there are the adventurous signs -- Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius –- who are not innately connected to their bodies but they also don’t care what others think. So they’ll flaunt, flirt and frolic around quite happily. Sagittarius and Aries do, however, need to watch out for sunburn since they don’t have common sense about how much they can take. They’ll also be more likely to expect their bodies to take on superhuman powers and trip themselves up.

Leo, Cancer and Libra can be a touch too self-conscious to enjoy full exposure. They care about approval, so tend to pore over their supposed physical imperfections and wince. They need to wise up and look around. They’re in better shape than most since they do make the effort to stay streamlined. Of the three, Leo is perhaps the most out of touch with their body’s needs. Even when they learn to love it, they still need to understand what it would like in terms of sensible food and Sun.

Aquarius and Pisces are probably the least physical signs in the zodiac. Aquarius is too up in its head and really doesn’t want to descend into the realm of the flesh more than necessary. Pisces is lost in its movie world of daydreams and knows it doesn’t match up to airbrushed perfection. For both, it will take an effort of will and a good deal of faith to move themselves fully into their body. But like anything else, with effort even they can do it.

The Perfect Honeymoon Getaway for You

2010-07-01T08:44:00.000-07:00

You’re getting married and now you get to go on vacation with your best friend in the entire world. The world is your oyster … so where are you going to go? Here are some tips by Sun sign on how to make yours a honeymoon from heaven!

Adventure of a Lifetime
Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
It has been said that you fall more deeply in love with someone if you live through a harrowing experience together. Making your heart race releases all sorts of chemicals in your brain – the same kind associated with loving someone. Fire signs need this kind of stimulation and adventure to keep the spark alive. Set yourselves up for success and do something that will wake you up. African Safari? Surfing in Costa Rica? Maybe white water rafting on the Colorado River –- you get the idea.

Romantic Journey to Wine Country
Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)
Earth signs want to feel the ground under their feet. These women, while luxury-loving many of them, also benefit from the scent of fresh air and are not afraid of a little dirt. Napa, Sonoma and the California central coast are amazingly romantic choices for Taurus, Virgo and Cap. It won’t necessarily break the bank (great for practical Earth signs) as there are affordable ways to sip your way through the yellowy, sunset glimmer of a California vineyard.

Hit the Beach and Just Chill
Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)
Water signs are strongly pulled to the ocean. They find absolute renewal and bliss sitting on a warm beach and listening to the sound of the tides. It’s as if their heart beats in time with the rhythm of the sea. Fiji or Bora-Bora would be perfect for these folks. If the wedding has your funds, the Florida Keys, Caribbean and Hawaiian islands are all amazing alternatives.

European Escape
Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)
You need to be intellectually stimulated on your journey. Sitting on a beach for a couple hours is great and then … you get bored. “What’s next” you might ask. As an Air sign, you would do well to take your honeymoon in Europe. So much to see, so much to learn and romantic everywhere you go, especially if you opt for the Italian or French countryside, or the obvious choice: Paris. These cultures really know how to do it right when it comes to amour.

Chhup Gaye Wo Jakar Kanhi Shayad Hame Satane Ko

Lekin Ham Unki Yaad Me Bhool Gaye Zamane Ko

Koi Unhe Jakar Ye Bata De Ki Taraste Hai Ham

Unki Ek Jhalak Pane Ko !!

Mohabbat Ki Zanjeer Se Dar Lagta Hai

Kuch Apni Taqdeer Se Dar Lagta Hai

Jo Mujhe TUJ SE" Juda Karti Hai,

Haath Ki Uss Lakeer Se Dar Lagta hai !!

Bas ek tamanna hai ki unse mulakat ho,

bat unse aage badhe aur unka sath ho,

kab tak hum yunhi ek dosre ko dekhte rahenge,

kuch khamoshi tute aur izhar ka agaz ho !!

tujhe agar mile kabhi fursate,

mere shaam fir se sanwar de.

agar qatl karna hai to qatl kar,

yu judaiyo ki sazaa na de !! ]

Dekha jo woh jam teri yaad aagayi...

yeh shaam tere naam, teri yaad aagayi...

Har koi Janata tha mujhe tere naam se...

Pucha kisi ne naam, Teri yaad aagayi !!

Agar Tum Usko Na Pa Sako Jisko Tum Chahate Ho

To usey Zaror Apna Lena Jo tumhain Chahata Hai

Kyun Ki Chahne Se Chahey jane Ka Ehsas Zada Khobsorat Hota Hai !!

Mere Sath Rehta Tu Mera Hota Tere Dil Me

Kisi Ka Na Basera Hota Ban Ke Jugnu Mai

Deta Roshni Tujko Meri Ankhon Me Kitna Bhi Andhera Hota !!

Vada hamne kiya tha nibhane ke liye,

ek dil diya tha ek dil pane ke liye,

unhone mohabbat sikha di or kaha,

hamne to mohabbat ki thi tumhe aazmane ke liye !!

Shikayat hai aapse yeh hamar

Ke ab yaad nahi aati aapko hamari

bhool gaye shayad aap hume ya fir aap

yaad karte the ye galat fehmi hmari !!

Kash Ke Hum Unke Dil Pe Raaj Karte

Jo Kal Thi Wo Mohbbt Aaj Karte Hume

Gam Nahi Unki Bewafai Ka Arman Tha

Hum Bhi Apni Mohabbat Pe Naaz Karte !!

Because love is due to hold Patience

at the time when the same you love being tested.

True love is written with "P"

Because to forget a bad memory there should be forgiveness

rather than hatred among those who love each other.

Love is written with "P"

Because to get what you want,

you need to persevere until it reaches what you've proposed.

The sincere love is written with "P" Because "Patience",

"forgiveness" and "perseverance"

are necessary ingredients for a love that endures.

Because love is also ...

a word that in time ...

It is the returns to trust ...

It remains silent listening the other ...

It is that passion,

that fills us with eyes to estrellitas pronouncing the name of that love ...

Love is written with "P"

Why are these little things that bind us to be loved every day ........
