Normallly, I do not awake till late night but last saturday, there was no sleep in my eyes so, I decided to watch TV. I kept on changing channels to find something interesting to watch. eventually I stopped my search at UTV bindas.

Like many other TV game shows, there is a show called Gold Safe which is telecasted LIVE everynight at 00:00 hours at UTV bindas. The programme is for two hours in which the hosts ask for a very simple quiz and if your find the correct answer you will win cash prize. Like it is shown Rs. 85000 in the picture to guess the celebrity.

sounds interesting............. very interesting?????? is not it??

you must be thinking what you need to do to win this handsome amount? very simple... you have to call the studio numbers given on the screen which is 5664464 and tell them your answer. is that only??? yes !!!

But now there is a condition that you have to call from your mobile only. once you are connected you will be asked to hold the line as you are in que. The moment you are connected with the studio host tell them your answer and if you are correct you will win the quiz. and...... Rs. 85000 is all YOURS!!!!!!!!!

hmm sounds amazing.... but let me tell you the call charges first before i proceed further... and the call charges are Rs. 12/ per minutes. Surprisingly which is not disclosed or announced in beginnig or through out the show. More interestingly you are adviced to stay connected with the line untill the quiz is over as if people continuously gives wrong answers the probability of your turn will increase and your call can be anytime connected with the studio to answer the quiz as they will keep you on priority since you are in que. huhh very funny..

You must be thinking how do I know if they don't disclose during the show then let me tell you how; i called them to know this and i lost Rs.12 in just 10 seconds........ :)

Well!!!, you must be thinking like me what if you are in que and you dont know the correct answer, you will lost your money. Money?? where is the money???? you must be thinking... look at the call charges boss..

now there is a catch even if you gives wrong answer. feeling curious!!! :) after approx 30 mins the hosts play with the viewers/participants greed and announced cash prize of Rs. 4000 even if you give wrong answers and thus appeal viewers to call them and win the cash. the hosts of programmes are very well trained and knows their job very well. they know how to trap viewers and fool them... :) people think now it is a win-win situation.. poor fellow ...

Now let me ask you who is this celebrity?? I am your most of you know the answer.

I was very much surprised when different people gave different answers, like; Ashwarya Rai, somebody said Vidhya Balan, somebody said Soha Ali Khan, Deepika padukone, Janellia Desouza, Diya Mirza, Preita Zinta, Amrita Rao, Prachi Desai, Mahima Chaudhary and so on.....I now curiously kept on watching the show and was excited to know who is gonna be the winner of this simple quiz and wins cash prize of Rs. 85000.

You will be surprised to note that approx one and half hour was passed and no one gave the correct answer. then... who won??

Ok.. Let us do some calculations.. in any case if caller disconnects or stay tuned-in how much they will loose as the winner has to be one only and how much the TV channel will earn. whosoever calls go in que requesting you to wait until you are connected with the studio hosts.

During the show; thousands of people will be calling the TV channels as there are many fools who loves easy money and why not most of us wants easy money. but let us take approx min 500 callers only.

1 hour = 60 mins

1 min = Rs. 12

90 Minutes = 12 X 90 = Rs. 1080

for 500 callers = Rs. 1080 X 500 = Rs 5,40,000 Approx (which goes to TV channels)

Now, since there was no one who gave the correct answer; the price amount is reduced for Rs. 40000 as they made the same quiz more simple and zoom-out the face for easy recongnition.

Still after many wrong answers, finally a gentlemen (vikram) from Tamilnadu called-in and gave the correct answer and won Rs. 40000 but the question remained the same WHO WON?? and WHO LOST. Now the next quiz begins to trap new viewers and so on... and the game continued.....as shown in the picture with new quiz...

This is how a TV can ruin your hard earn money and provoke you for gambling.... Beware of such shows and please do not participate in such quizes... use your brain and save your money.... Actually no one wins except these TV Channels..

Somebody said….money saved is Money Earned.

Do you know that Warren Buffet, the chairman of Hathaway Berkshire Inc started saving money in a very early age and started investing money into the stock market instrument.

Here is following tips to teach money lesson to your kids.

1. Piggy bank

Buy your child, a piggy bank and give him or her some rupee to put in it. Know that he or she won't understand for some years that a rupee saved today can be better than a rupee saved when he / she is 20 years old. Let the children pay money with their own for their toys or other things bought from the shop, no matter you fund them so that they understand the difference between coins, a small note and a big note. Supervise carefully, though, since sometimes, they still like to test things in their mouths.

2. Pocket money

For older children, establish an allowance so he or she can begin to make independent money decisions. Some folks will advocate linking the allowance to certain chores; I prefer establishing the basic chores (e.g., making the bed, cleaning their own room, and setting the table) as something each person does because they are a part of a family and it is their job. Be very careful that they do not become too money minded and keep asking, “How much will I get for looking after granny when she is unwell?” However, giving your child ‘extra’ tasks (like washing your car) for which he or she can earn money can teach her the satisfaction that comes from working for a goal. Your child will also understand that the more work that's done, the more money he or she earns - a valuable life lesson.

3. Encourage your child to invest money.

Tell him/her that he is save some of his / her pocket money and returns back to you. You will return him the saved money by adding few more bucks with your own.

4. Summer jobs

Encourage your child when he or she tries entrepreneurial ventures like buying crackers in the wholesale and selling in retail, taking part time tuition, or doing a part time reception job etc. There's no substitute for learning on the job.

5. Lead by example

Last, but not least, be mindful of how you talk about money. Do you complain about bills, fret about money, and always use negative terms about finances? Don't be surprised, then, if your kids feel negatively, too.

Getting yourself on the right financial track is the best lesson of all for your kids.

Mail Delivery Failure due to DNS entry

Mail Delivery failure due to DNS entry

When we send mail, many a times we experience that mails bounce back with the following error.

“ This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

accountsdelhi@pmrelcations.com

The mail server could not deliver mail to accountsdelhi@pmrelcations.com. The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries. "

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------

------ The body of the message is 141344 characters long; only the first

------ 106496 or so are included here.”

As shown it the error, it means that either the email is blacklisted or it may have missing the proper DNS entry or it may happen we are sending email on such an id that does not exist. Correct?

I know many people shall not agree with the above statement because they know the mail id is correct they are sending mail to and is functional but still mail bounces.

Well here is the solution……there is no issue with the dns entry. If you are sure the mail address is correct. There must be the bandwidth issue with the mail.

The way if bandwidth exceeds, website stop working. Now you would be thinking that your website is working perfectly. In this case see if you have separate control panel for website and mails.

That way you will have separate bandwidth for mail and website. Increase your mail bandwidth. The issue will be resolved.

Printing Problem on network

Many a times you must have faced problem in troubleshooting printing problem on an installed network printer. I had installed a samsung SCX4521F Multifunction printer on network.

It installed but always failed to print the document on on print command given. I was choked as there was no issue with the network not even with the window update as many a times window suggest you when you trouble shoot printing problem.

Now the question is how to resolve the issue. Well, It depends on your printer make and its model. in case of Samsung that I have experienced.

Samsung printer provides specific printer drivers and a common Universal Printer Driver that is compatible with all printers of Samsung make.

Check if both the drivers are installed on the machine. if so uninstall the driver that is not required if you are not sure. Uninstall both original and Universal Driver and reinstall the driver from network....issue will be resolved.

How to Calculate Required Air Conditioner Capacity before you buy?

Whenever we plan to buy an Air Conditioner, one common thing that comes in our mind is to choose the correct size of air conditioner for our room so as to make your AC perform effectively. After all we all want the maximum worth of our money.

At Air Conditioner Dealers we almost everywhere find the line "determine the size of your room and calculate the required BTU". The size of an air conditioner required for a given job is determined by calculating the cooling load, which is the amount of cooling that the machine will have to put out to "condition" the space. The cooling load depends upon the size and shape of the space; the number and size of windows and their orientation toward the sun; the areas of walls, ceilings, floors and the extent to which they are insulated; local climatic conditions; the wattage of electrical equipment present; and the number of people who normally occupy the space.

BTU means British Thermal Unit. The BTU per hour rating is the basic measurement in the United States for air conditioning, and it is used to specify the capacity of an air conditioner. One British thermal unit (BTU) equals the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of 1 pound of water from 59 °F to 60 °F (15 °C to 16 °C). An air conditioner with a capacity of 12,000 BTU per hour can remove enough heat from the air.

The easiest way is to simply calculate the square feet area of your room and divide it by 600 to get the basic tonnage capacity required. Now Add 0.5 Tonnes for every 10 people occupying the room at the same time. Similarly add 0.5 tonnes for every 1500 watts of appliances or lighting present in the room (A computer would consume about 300 watts and a regular bulb, 40 to 60 watts).

Ex: A 400 Sq Ft Room with 4 people and 4 Bulbs will require Air Condition with the capacity of

Calculation will go as follows:

400/600 = 0.6667
Add: 0.2 for 4 people occupying the room
Add: 0.26 for 4 Tube or lighting present in the room

Total = 1.127… making it with round figure….An A/C with Minimum of 1.5 Tonne will be sufficient

If you buy a unit whose size is too big for your room, then it would turn on and off very frequently and will not be able to dehumidify efficiently. And also if the AC unit is too small then it would run over and over again but would fail to produce the proper cooling effect. But with all this parameters at your disposal, I hope choosing the right size of air conditioner for cooling your home or office is no longer a fuss.
