Boho Wedding

I absolutely love origami decorations!!

Her dresses are A-MAY-ZING. mainly the second one. Made by Jenny Packham who is a genius.

DO and DON'T images (Bridesmaids dresses)

DO DO DO

I think its great when bridesmaids aren't all dressed the same. I like the idea of sticking with a loose theme like the first image. Maybe a color, type of print, type of dress...any or all of those. Or you could do no theme and just let your ladies wear whatever they like. Much like the second image. Whatever works..just not matching. For goodness sake.

DON'T

MY god. DON'T DON'T DON'T

Lace and the same shoes. DO

awkward length and I am not sure what to say about those shoes. DON'T

very awkward. Don't

not crazy about #3 but overall DO

Defiantly DON'T

same girls as the second image. I just like this picture. so DO again.

DON'T

Basically stay away from cheap looking davids bridal dresses. Its not a good look for anyone. If you aboulutly HAVE to do davids bridal try something like this. Mix it up, at least let your girls pick the length they want. There are few things worst than an awkward length dress.

Most dresses from stores like Davids are between $100-$200. That usually doesn't include getting it fitted. Instead of having your girls spend a hundy or more on some cheap fabric try these places.
There is surly something in your price range and color here

I Want Someone...

2011-03-06T21:57:00.002-06:00

Who will build a fort with me.

Who accepts the fact that I will almost always try on ten different outfits, only to wear the original.

Who loves animals as much as I do.

Who understands that when I ask them to pick option 1 or option 2, I am almost always saying please pick option 1.

Who can fix my computer.

Who understands that I make a lot of decisions I later regret.

Who will drive across the country in a camper with me.

Who doesn't care that I find it very hard to hang the clothes back up.

Who will ignore the fact that I am a terrible speller.

Who will make me do things I never would have done on my own.

Who lets me stir the creamer in their coffee because they know I like the way it looks.

Who will teach me new things.

Who will tell me I am being crazy when I am being crazy.

Who thinks the fact that arcades, petting zoos and go carts make me jump with excitement is the cutest thing they have ever seen.

Who understands that when I get lost I become very angry.

Who realizes that my pillow is MY pillow.

Who tells me no sometimes.

Who will remember to get me tons of condiments..because they also realize condiments just make the world of food a better place.

Who doesn't tickle people in the under arm (thats just creepy. Nobody wants you to touch their armpit.).

Who likes playing board games.

Who doesn't care that I have absolutely no idea what I am doing with my life, except that I want to have fun.

Who will tell me my morning breath isn't bad, even when I know it is.

Who loves boots and mens shoes as much as I do.

Who will tell me to shut up when I need to.

Who doesn't mind that sometimes I have mood swings and cry during sad commercials.

Who will go on "grand adventures" with me, even if "grand adventure" just means a trip to the store.

Who knows that I am awkward and sometimes say and do the strangest things, but wouldn't want me any other way.

Super sweet fort!!!

And...have the looks of these lovely creatures. A girl can dream.

I thought you may like this Tearsa.

This also reminded me of you Tearsa. :)

MMM I want this couch..(maybe in a diff color) and those picture frames.

I really dig this tub...but honestly; the shower is my the winner here.

I feel like that tree should have some sparkle to it. (not alot...just a little glimmer) Every time I look at it I think I am going to se it light up or something. Its pretty exciting.

Nice little pop of color

Blah kind of day

2011-03-05T00:02:00.001-06:00

Oh my. So cute!!!

That couch is very lovely. I am quite fond of this room.

I need this in my life. I want to see a little head poking out from my drink

I am just going to pretend this is my house.

The green doors which I am guessing are closets are just wonderful, and the little door down the hall reminds me of willy wonka & the chocolate factory. I also really like the angles.

I am really loving the idea of a huge image taking up the entire wall.

This room is absolutely beautiful.

HOLY SHOES!!! I bet we wear the same size...we should become friends. (ps thats Christina Aguilera)

I LOVE the monochromatic color scheme...and that the clothes are the color on the room.

This is just beautiful..but there is no way all of my clothes would fit in there. I bet there is a whole other side . If so..that would be one amazing closet!

Pink wall full of shoes...heaven?

look familiar? Carrie Bradshaw's. Did you guess it Jess?

2011-02-27T17:43:00.000-06:00

I have always loved this movie. My favorite part is when they show the mom the house they built. Ever since I saw that amazing house, I have been in love with tree houses.

Now for some AMAZING tree houses I have found searching the web.

I would love in there..for sure.

This one is insane! I want to see inside.

I guess the downside to living in a tree house are bugs. Maybe just get a bug guy to come out.

I really like all the different windows. Its really quite amazing.

I may make posting tree houses a regular thing. I found so many. I have to show them all.

Things that make me smile

LITTLE BABY ANIMALS...to be more specific fawns.

I love love love little animals..its an obsession really. When I was little I would bring home all sorts of stray animals. My neighbor had a lot of chickens and an incubator. I would go over when the chicks were about to hatch and watch. I wanted one of those little chicks soooo bad but they never gave me one. (jerks) So I had to take matters into my own hands. I would take the eggs out of the fridge use my clothes to make a little nest plop the egg in the middle of the "nest" and sit them under the lizard cage (I thought this would make them warm..because of he heat lamp) I really thought it would work. My mom didnt tell me that the eggs we had were completely different from the eggs the neighbors had. I must have tried at least a dozen times. My mom got pretty mad I wasted so many eggs.

My grandparents live on a farm and have 3 horses, a slew of dogs, a barn cat..and I think an indoor cat...So I am in heaven anytime I am there. While visiting one spring (age 12 maybe) I was wondering around the property looking for animal tracks.(its a weird little thing I like to do when I am in the woods or outside at all) Their neighbors were outside and called me over. They asked if I wanted to do something cool. Well DUH I wanted to do something cool...what kind of a question was that!? The man went inside for a second and came out carrying a little fawn. I think I squealed with excitement. He sat it in my lap and handed me a big bottle. IT.WAS.AWESOME! I asked them if they were going to keep it forever. (of course I did haha) Well I was shocked when they told me that they were only keeping it for a few weeks. They informed me that the mom had died...by the husband shooting her! I was disgusted, but I didnt dare say anything about him killing little bambi's mommy...in fear they would take little bambi out of my arms and make me leave. I was crushed to find out I would not be able to come back and see my new friend. On the walk back to my grandmas I was coming up with a game plan to get bambi and make her mine forever. I had worked up some good tears thinking about how she didnt have a mommy..I would work off that..I got inside...eyes full of tears. "MOM!!! They killed its mommy." naturally she asked what I was talking about. I told her about how I got to feed it and how sweet and cute it was. My mom used to these shenanigans by now knew what was coming. She started to say no before I was even finished. I powered through though the constant NOs. I HAD to get to my main point...the "convincer"... "But mom! It needs a mommy, and I can be that. I will take good care of it I promise!!!! just come and see it!" She went to go and see it, which only got my hopes up. I thought that if she was going to see it, that must mean she was thinking about keeping it. HA. Sadly I did not get the deer, but my mom had a great time feeding it. I knew it was a crazy thought. There was no way I could have a pet deer..but this has been an issue my entire life. I am a dreamer. I cant help it. I always think about these crazy unrealistic scenarios.. I dont care that they wont happen though, its fun to think of magical wonderful things. Its a blessing and a curse.

I love this..and I want it.

I look forward to the zoo my home is sure to be. :)

Big comfy bed

2011-02-21T17:04:00.001-06:00

This past weekend was a pretty lazy one. Saturday I realized...I spend a little too much time in my bed. But I love my bed... aside from the occasional potty and food break I could live in there! I have everything I need. Computer, super soft pillows and blankets, water, my phone, my cat...I am SET. So all of this bed action got me a little inspired. Now dont get me wrong... I do love my bed, But what makes my bed is the bedding. The actual bed its self..is a little on the crappy side. Here are a few (and by few I mean ton) of lovely beds to be jealous of.

This looks like its in a tree house

LOVE LOVE LOVE this bed!

Very interesting

Cubby hole bed!! So fun. Look at that little built-in...inside the built-in. hehehe

I wounder if it swings all over the place when you get in. Its a really neat idea.

My word! Come to me! This place looks like heaven.

bed = stunning rug = fun and MINE..this needs to be in my life.

So I know I am not a "TEEN" anymore...but pottery barn teen is AWESOME! I like their stuff better than the regular pottery barn stuff sometimes. I have been pretty obsessed with their beds for quite some time now.

This is the #1 bed I have been obsessed with. I am really not even sure why. Maybe because its a dresser too... I love storage, that your kinda hidden, and you can put treasures on the top on the dresser part..but mainly I think I love the fact that you can line up pillows on the back and its like a massive couch..

This is #2 of my PB TEEN favorites. All that storage!! I would put all my undies and socks in those drawers on the sides at the bottom. How prefect?!

AMAZING

fun fun fun..but question...why is the bed in front of a door..?

This is probably one of my most favorites out of the bunch. LOVE and those floors..lovely!!

A close second to the bed above. If this were pink velvet..It would be the winner for sure!

so sophisticated

<3 simple and clean

what a happy room. I want that side table

There is something all of these images have in common (besides being lovely)...leave me a comment and tell me what it is.

Check out that AMAZING mirror! the door is pretty cute too!

I LOVE this image. I have always been so attracted to it. Its that ceiling.

I love these colors.

How fun is this room!? I want to go up those stairs into that loft.

This room is such a random mix of things. I absolutely love how weird it is..the chandelier is crazy amazing!

Purple couches? umm yes please!

This rug is wow. huge and lovely.

I love that the entire back wall behind the sink is mirrors. Such a great idea!

Are you seeing that pink floor in the kitchen!? I love all the colors in here.

Feather pillow-lovely, wall hanging-lovely, little wheels on the bottom of couch-CUTEST THINGS EVER! I have been obsessed with little wheels on the bottoms of furniture recently.. haven't I been TEARSA?? haha

I adore this room!

I am rather confused by this room..is it a living room? or a dining room? either way their chair collection is something to be rather jealous of.
