My Gender Reveal Party

Hey guys! I'm back and inspired to blog again! What's new? What's new? Well.. you already know from the title that I'm pregnant! I'm 29 weeks pregnant and we just found out the gender last July 14 'coz I just threw myself a gender reveal party that day! With the help of my best friend of course! And it was a lot of fun, I cried! The moment I knew I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to have a gender reveal party. I saw Youtube videos of people doing it and I thought to myself that I wanted to have that! I wanted a party so I told my doctors that I don't want to know the gender and if they ever find out, I want them to put it on paper and conceal the gender from me! Then, I'd give the paper to my friend and we decided to surprise me and everybody by popping a balloon and if a pink confetti comes out it's a girl and blue if it's a boy. She bought the balloon for me and planned the whole party games with me and it was so much fun. It was so memorable and I couldn't thank her enough. Here are some of the pictures and footages from the party and then at the end you'll find out what gender our baby will be~

We celebrated it at Karaoke Warehouse so I didn't have to decorate as much.

Simply 'coz I don't want to pay ¥13,990 yearly for something I don't watch and is a lot more expensive than my Amazon Prime which I watch ALL THE TIME and only costs me ¥3,900 a year! Aaand. I get a lot of benefits from Amazon Prime! Do I get benefits from NHK? NO! Do all Japanese people pay for NHK? Certainly NOT! Even though you're REQUIRED by a STUPID LAW to pay for something YOU DON'T EVEN WATCH! I refuse to throw away my husband's hard earned money for something we don't get used out of. I mean, sure if you watch it, why not pay for it? But yeah, we don't! So, I don't want to pay! You could ignore and not pay for it as there is no punishment if you don't pay but the bills would just build up under your name and they would not stop sending you bill after bill until you die.. not until you cancel your account. So yeah, cancel your account..

PERFUMES

This is actually a gift for myself and I've always loved this scent and I totally recommend it! It costs a lot when you order it from the actual Juicy Couture site, yet they have 'em in Amazon and it's 100% legit and it only costed me ¥5,400 which is around $48.00. I do recommend getting perfumes in the actual store, I know in Japan that they usually have sales especially at this time of year. They just didn't have these in stores that's why I got 'em from Amazon.

BAGS, PURSES OR WALLETS

Another gift for myself but I also bought more in different colors and style for my bestfriends and family. This is from Guess and it's branded but I only bought if for $30 because it's on SALE! I got the first 3 Guess wallets I bought for my mom, mom-in-law and aunt from Laketown and then I got this and another 2 for my bestfriends at Shoplist. It's a shopping site here in Japan and it's 100% legit.

CLOTHES

For the kids I got 'em these cute branded tops from Shoplist again!

And they're all under $10 each! Around $8 to be exact~

HOME & KITCHEN STUFF

This is a great gift for a couple or a family. I'm actually gonna gift these to my cousin and his wife. It's a Thermos cup and y'know it's a good brand here in Japan and it doesn't melt your ice for hours and your cup of tea or coffee will stay hot for atleast 2 hours of leaving it. It's a good cup! And me and my husband love these!

Another thing you could gift to your mom or dad is some kitchen supplies or home stuff that they might actually need. It's not exactly budget friendly for you but if you think they'll use it in the long run or they might actually need it like for example, a new rice cooker because their old rice cooker broke. I mean, it might be expensive but they'll use it for a long time and it's a necessity 'coz rice is lyfe! So yeah, I think it may be a good thing to give.

GAMEZ 4 DA GAMERZ

Hey! The new FINAL FANTASY XV is out! That's the best gift you could get to your final fantasy fan bf/gf or hubby/wifey! But yeah, my husband is a Destiny gamer and he wanted to look professional playing his favorite game. Lol. So I got him this SCUF Controller for Christmas but he cannot wait until Christmas so he's using it already. And he absolutely loves it! I don't get men with their controllers like how he doesn't get me with my blogging and make up! Lol. But yeah, it's custom made~ we designed it ourselves! And it's not exactly budget friendly but if you love your gamer husband sooo much and if you think he's working so hard. I know he'll truly appreciate this! Snow in November

This just in you guys! It's been 54 years.. 54 YEARZ! Since it snowed here in Japan in the middle of November! So it's a big deal you guys and it's on the news! And because it's a big deal.. I wanna remember it! And so I'm gonna blog about it and just show a bunch of Haru's cute photos playing in the snow.. and I know this isn't facebook, it's a blog! Toilet Room Makeover

Today, I feel really productive and I just felt like blogging about it.. I did the lawn yesterday (I know so boooring) because we just bought a lawn mower and I know I should've bought one a long time ago! I'm so stupid! But yeah, nothing fancy.. it's a manual type and it's not that expensive.

And I'm really happy 'coz normally doing just our front lawn would take me 2 days to finish using JUST garden shears! Sometimes, even a week! 'Coz I couldn't move my arms any longer. This made my housework a lot easier and I don't have to deal with body pains any longer! Plus, it's a great workout tool! Lol.

Anyways, I wanted to record it so I could post it on Youtube but I just took pictures 'coz it's nothing special.. I mean, I don't have any tips to share on Youtube. I don't even know what I was doing? Or if I'm doing it properly.. I was just mowing away~

I put some stickers to cover up some rubbish I forgot to put away before taking photos! Hehe..

Lawn's done! So what I am really excited about is our toilet room makeover! But I forgot to take 'before' pictures omg! Even though I have been meaning to start a Youtube channel about organizing and decorating.. I just keep forgeting to record or take pics because I'm so focused on getting things done! But anyway, here are the after photos of our toilet room~ I'll just tell you guys what I did after every picture~

This is our downstairs toilet room and what I did is I bought a toilet lid cover and a mat which were a set and I also bought some tissue paper holder cover. Then I got a shelf and installed it on top of the toilet and I also bought the cute box sitting on top of the shelf which will hold my sanitary pads in the future. Then I just incorporated some of the stuff we already had like the plants and the wood it's sitting on.. and the little easle with japanese quotes on it.

I did the same on our upstairs toilet room except we already had the My Melody theme going on here~ Hung a shelf, put in a cute little box on top for storage + display and bought a slim trash bin/toilet brush holder on the left. The cute rose frame was a present from my husband when we were dating and I thought it looked good on the space but my husband is kinda not liking the idea so I think I might change this up~ This is not the final results anyway, I bought more stuff on the way and I'm really excited for the aroma diffusers I bought which would look perfect throughout our home! Especially in our toilet room!

Another great thing about this makeover is our genkan looked really neat afterwards 'coz all of the stuff I used to decorate our two toilet rooms are all displays here on our genkan and I know that's a lot of stuff! So overwhelming.. but yeah, thank God it's now clear! It looks really nice when you enter our home although I really need to change the picture! Nobody wants to see me and my husband kissing right off the bat when they enter our home! Lol.

Again, no 'before' photos! Urgh.. I'm such a failure!

Shaaanxo Make Up Palette Review

Today we're going to review this beautiful Shaaanxo palette!

First and foremost this is what we're going to do.. well, I'm going to do.. I'm gonna take a picture of this beautiful palette and will give you time to appreciate its beauty. Then, I'll do a swatch and tell you guys what I think about the this beautiful palette. Btw, I sound so bias 'coz I already watched a lot of reviews before even buying this so I already know I'm gonna like it but we'll see if this beautiful palette approves my standards. Lol.

I got it for $12.50 ('coz sale) but it now costs $14.50. Isn't it purrty? Hmmm?

I'm gonna start from the upper left up to the last~

The colors are very pigmented, not powdery at all and it has some sort of creamy consistency. There are only 4 matte shadows in this palette and the rest are shimmery. And my favorite of all you guys! This is why I bought this palette in the first place because of this gorgeous color! I don't know if you'll like it but I LOVE IT! It looks kinda bronzy from the swatch and it looks kinda green in the palette because it's a geochrome you know, it changes color and I think that's pretty cool! And I love it so much omg.. I wanna wear it all the time even when I'm asleep!

I mean look at that? Is it bronze? Is it green? THAT SHINE! SO SHINY!

As for the lip swatches, I took these lip swatches after doing this look

'coz I figured it'll be better to swatch 'em on my lips rather on my arms.

I didn't get to number the pics 'coz I was so lazy but the swatches start from the

bottom left up to the bottom right

I really like the lip pallette~ they're very creamy and easy to apply although my application isn't the best. I do find that the 6th color stains the lips but it's okay 'coz I do love lip stains and I really like the stain it leaves. Lip swatching on the lips is hard! Lol. I can't believe it took me an hour and a half to swatch these but yeah.. I do really like 'em! I can't believe they're only TWELVE DOLLUZ!

I LOVE THIS PALETTE SO MUCH YOU GUYS! That I used it for this look! I used everything from the Shaaanxo palette~ but what bugs me is that you can't see how pretty the eyeshadow is from the pictures! I guess you have to see me in person so you'd know that I'm not lying! The geochrome one really is the bomb!

Overall, I LOVE THIS PALETTE AND I'M SO HAPPY I BOUGHT IT! I can't say nothing bad about it 'coz the packaging is great! BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick Review

It's been 21 days since I last blogged.. according to Wordpress! And that's because nobody reads my posts anymore so it's kind of depressing to post content when nobody reads it but me! Lol. Anyways, I wanted to keep blogging even once or twice a month before I keep playing too much steam games that I forget about blogging again..

So yeah, today I'm going to review BH Cosmetics' Liquid Lipsticks!

The price of these are $11 each but I got 'em for $8.50 and BH Cosmetics often do sales and I watched a review on Youtube where she got it for only $6.50 but I didn't wait 'coz I'm impatient and guess what? Colourpop decided to do free international shipping for $50 worth of purchase! Urghh.. but anyway, I didn't regret getting these because I got a lot of compliments using these lippies especially the shade 'Serena'. Everybody loved that shade! Even my husband loves it on me and he doesn't like me wearing lipstick! Lol. My bestfriend loves all the shades I own that she also bought 4 for herself!

Pros:

♥ They're cheap! You could even get it for free shipping using the right Coupon code!

I used 'VALPAK'

♥ Easy to apply, one coat is enough!

The lighter shades I own which is Sandy and Serena aren't even blotchy.

♥ It's extremely matte! No transfers at all!

Cons:

✗ It's kind of drying.. so it's best to put on some lipbalm first.

✗ For a liplicker like me it doesn't last long..

but if you're not a liplicker maybe this'll last you all day 'coz it did say long lasting? Hehe..

Overall, I love the lipsticks! I really recommend them and to be honest I bought ~~fake~~ matte lipsticks before and omg these lippies changed my life! Never again will I buy ~~fake~~ products! I haven't tried Colourpop's Ultra Matte Lipsticks yet but it's coming! Went cray cray again and bought make up! I didn't buy a lot this time but I did receive tons of freebies because of first order campaign and when you reach a certain amount of purchase. I did get the Pink x Skull limited edition palette and other stuff from the line because I thought I still don't have those colors and they're limited edition so I MUST HAVE! Anyways, Here are all the stuff I got! I'm gonna do a review on the palette with the lip tint soon!

And here are all the beautiful stuff I received plus the freebies! I got skin care freebies, their new 'Colorful Scent Perfume' line sample, a mirror and a Pink x Skull cusion case! They're really tempting me to get the cusions they have.. I'll think about it if they have some sort of Christmas sale 'coz you know, I'M ALL ABOUT THAT SALE! 'Coz I'm a cheap ~~mofo~~! I went crazy and bought a lot from BH Cosmetics! They didn't ship to Japan before but now that they do I bought like A LOT from 'em! I bought tons for my friends rather than for me 'coz you know, SALE! They won't even know the palettes I bought 'em were so cheap 'coz it looked expensive! Lol. And I mean, the quality is amazing (Based on the ALL the reviews I've seen)! I've never thought good quality make up could be so affordable! Most of the palettes I bought were 50%-70% off. The expensive looking brush I bought were only $15.00! Tons of coupons! Shipping is not so expensive unlike Colourpop which btw, I missed their free international shipping promo so that sucked! and they have 7% cashback on ebates so I was like, 'I'm gonna spend all my birthday money on make up!' And so I did and I even bought tons for my friends aswell! This year's Christmas presents and their birthdays for the next year are covered! (I'm a cheap friend, I'm sorry! I'm poor!) Anyways, Here are all the stuff I bought which I'm going to do a review in the future~ and by future I mean tomorrow!

This came first and it took 12 days to arrive.. I bought a lot of 'Pride, Prejudice and Zombies' palette because they we're on sale for $6.50 so I bought tons for my friends! Although, I didn't get one for me 'coz I thought I already have all the colors on my other palettes and I got a free eyeliner! Shipping didn't cost me much 'coz I've been using 'VALPAK' coupon code so on my $60+ worth of purchase, I get $15 off so that almost cover the amount of shipping.

3 boxes just came today and yes, I did 4 seperate transactions 'coz I just couldn't stop shopping! I stopped when the sale was over. Lol. Most of these I'm going to give to my friends as gifts like 4 of the BH Liquid Lipstick, the brush set and 3 palettes while I got me the Shaanxo palette, Be... by Bubzbeauty and 4 Liquid Lipsticks which I'm going to do a review! The free eyeliners I got I'm going to give to a friend!

And that's it for this haul! This is a massive BH Cosmetics Haul and I think I'm going to stop buying make up for now.. My New Baby! Dyson V8

IT'S HERE!!!

MY NEW BABY!!! OMG!!! I'm sooo HAPPY! I have the best husband ever! He bought me a Dyson for a birthday present! Because I've wanted this since it released but it was worth ¥104,544 at that time! So expensive! But they're on sale at the moment and Dyson V8 Absolute Extra dropped its price to ¥78,408. I dunno the difference between Absolute Extra and Absolute except for the color I guess? Absolute Extra has some 'extra' color (blue) to it I guess while Absolute is just plain 'ol titanium and maybe because they don't sell Absolute Extras in stores but their official site only. I decided I just wanted the Absolute because of the color but it still retails to ¥104,544 on their official site. So we 'researched' at kakaku.com and found that Yamada Denki sells these for ¥70,720 plus 5 years warranty!!! So we went to Yamada Denki yesterday and it's retailed for ¥72,800 so I asked the guy selling these, 'Should I just get this at the Yamada Denki site because it's only retailed for ¥70,720 there?' And his like, 'I'll go look into it ma'am'. He comes back and says, 'We'll give it to you for ¥70,720 plus 5 years warranty'. And I'm SOLD!!! That's a tip right there if you're here in Japan. Tell 'em you found it somewhere cheaper and then they'll sell it to you for that price and even give you points! You can actually buy stuff from points so you could save those and they don't expire. I've tried doing that at Biccamera and Yamada Denki and it works. I know, I'm cheap! I'm sorry! But if you could get it slightly cheaper, why not right?

Anyway, I love this vacuum! This is the best purchase we've done for the year! Lol. It's perfect for our small 2 storey home! While I do think V6 is perfect for those who live in apartments. So yeah, Dyson's the best! Although there are a lot of cheaper 'dupes' for this vacuum. ~~NOTHING~~ BEATS DYSON! Atleast for me! Hehe..

Aaand I'm not done yet! I wanted to include what happened yesterday. Since Nitori (Japanese Home Stuff Store) is just right in front of Yamada Denki I thought I'd just drop by and get a few stuff for the house and then I saw this!

For only ¥1,990 I grabbed it instead of buying online, plus it seemed very sturdy! I dropped their tester and it didn't crack at all but when I got home and tore the plastic cover open, this is what it looked like..

I swear to God I didn't even drop this! I thought maybe I got a defect and realized it when I opened the plastic because it was in the back so I didn't notice. I want it replaced OMG! We're going back tomorrow to get a replacement.. HOPEFULLY! Urghh.. this is what happens when I get too excited or too happy. I'm gonna remind myself not be too happy nor excited so I don't have to deal with shit like this! But yeah, I end this post with my two lovelies! Because I caught 'em sleeping like this and they're both so cute! I had to!

Natural Trend Gel Nail Set Review

Wow! It's been a while since I've done a review! And I kinda miss it! So today, I'm gonna review what my friend bought me as a birthday present and one I've been wanting since March is this Natural Trend Gel Nail Set! It's from Rakuten and I figured since Rakuten ship internationally.. why not make a review about it so if one of you guys might be interested, you could go buy it? Here's the shop link. So yeah, here goes the review!

It came in this tiny box! Packaging's great and it came exactly on my birthday!

Includes a free vanity! They have this one and a light pink one!

Sadly you can't choose which bag you want, they'll give it to you randomly.

However, you can change the color of your LED! Although the only variations are a white and a hot pink one. They changed the LEDs included in the set 'coz I remember they used to include a 6W mini LED with a variety of colors. Now they only offer white and hot pink and they upgraded the LED from 6W to 15W. It means less waiting time for your nails to dry!

Here's all that it came with for ¥5,555 which is around $50. More or less!

I already used it so it looked used? Hahaha!

Top Coat, Base Coat and Clear Gel have a pretty decent quantity? There all 10ml.

The gel is pretty tiny though? It's my first time getting gel nails so I don't know if the container is supposed to be this tiny? This tiny container only holds 5ml of gel but a little goes a long way anyway. I've tried it and I only have to put one coat and it's pretty opaque.

I have this on me for about a week and there may be a little chip but it still looks good! Nail polish won't even last a week on me plus the hassle of drying your nails with nail polish. I don't get that hassle from gel! The hassle of removing it though? I guess that's one of the cons of gel! Hahaha..

The brushes are quite small but it's perfect for beginners like me!

Maybe when I get used to it I'll invest in some new brushes!

If you love glitter, now's the time to be sad (Lol. Why? Haha!)

Because the glitters are not as much as it may seem~

They're in this tinnie tiny container with a concaved bottom

so you think you have lots of glitters but you really don't!

I'm not a glitter girl anyway so it's okay! I'm more of a matte girl! And my matte gel top coat is on it's way~ I ordered myself one and new colors after I just found out that this could be my new hobby! So yeah, this is about the end of my review! The verdict is, I LOVE IT DUH! It's a gift! And I've always wanted this since March and it's the cheapest yet the cutest of all the sets I've searched in Rakuten! Going on a Keto Diet

Hey guys! So I wanted to share my adventures of losing weight! I recently just lost 10kg in 6 weeks. So that's big! It's like I lost a baby in me. I remember making a blog post of me starting to eat healthy but yeah.. it obviously didn't work out. I just became a lot bigger than I was when I was pregnant!

Backstory: When I was pregnant with my son, I was 83kg. After I gave birth I was 73kg and then I became bigger and bigger.. and after all my diet ups and downs I reached 86kg! Only 14kg to a hundred! I am ~~obese~~! Like when I was 63kg and people would still call me fat and obese at the time.. well, at the time I was only overweight. This time I am ~~OBESE~~! And I'm still obese until I reach 69kg which would make me just overweight. This is according to a BMI calculator.

I don't have a pic when I was 86kg but in this pic I think I was about 83kg.

I ~~hate~~ the word ~~obese~~ 'coz to me it seems ~~unhealthy~~. I hate that I am obese that's why I'm not dieting anymore but I'm making a lifestyle change. Dieting TO ME is like, I am going to this event, I should lose weight and I would lose the weight successfully and after the event I would stop dieting, I would go eat a lot more and would gain a lot more weight! It's a never ending cycle! I've tried so many diets.. there's the low calorie diet, eating less and more cardio, eating ANYTHING I want within 8 hours, eating ANYTHING before 6pm.. I've done so many diets but none of 'em work because I can't stop myself from eating more and more after I'm done dieting! It's like I've missed food so much that I'm eating way more than before. TO ME, all these diets would ~~JUST NOT WORK OUT~~.

This was me 3 years ago and I was about 63-65kg at the time.
I used to be 75kg but I ate less and ran a lot and that's how I reached 63kg.

I liked how I look before because I could fit in cute clothes!
Even medium sized clothes fits me! But now.. it's just.. meh.

EXCEPT with KETO DIET. I mean, to me losing weight is a ~~STRUGGLE~~ because I'm one of those people who would gain weight fast and would lose weight slowly. I've been fat all my life ever since I was born! But thank God with KETO DIET I've been doing this for almost 2 months now and it has been life changing! Yeah, I know! Life changing in 2 months? That's crazy! But no, this diet has helped me lose 8kg in a month! I lost 2kg in 2 weeks before entering keto because I thought I couldn't do it cold turkey but yeah.. from 86kg to 76kg in 6 weeks! And I will continue.. I've got a lot more weight to lose! I mean to me this isn't just a normal diet.. it's a lifestyle change. And I wanted to thank my friend for introducing me to this diet! She has a blog too (https://tokyofamilylifestyle.wordpress.com/). She started doing this diet and lost 16kg in 2 months! And she looks fantastic! And I want that too! I want to look fantastic and feel fantastic!

Me now. It's a bathroom mirror, we don't have a giant mirror yet..

It's fall now so winter is coming.. and I'm so happy that I'm able close the zipper of my favorite jacket! Last winter I couldn't close it anymore 'coz it wouldn't fit me. But now that I can, I am super happy! I'm going to continue with this diet until I reached my weight goal which is 50kg.

Even after that because I don't EVER want to become obese, I plan to only eat carbs in the morning but in the evening I would cut carbs so I think that could work.. that's what my mother in law is doing 'coz she's done keto too!

Anyways, this is a very long post so I'm just gonna post a video of one of my favorite youtubers to explain what keto diet is. Will update again in another month! Bye~!

I Passed My Driver's Exam!

Now this is a great life update! I know this is not much of a big deal but it's a big big deal for me because if you live here in Japan, you know how difficult it is getting a license here. Especially if you're a foreigner getting a license from scratch. Not to mention, really expensive! This is why I'm so happy! It took me three tests to pass! I guess third time's a charm.. I seriously thought I was gonna burn the whole building down because it's really frustrating when you know you've studied but didn't pass anyway.. but I guess on my first two tests, I didn't study hard enough unlike before my third test, I read the whole book for a day and a half!

So I deserved this license! Lol. As for my reward, instead of eating out.. my husband ordered take away indian food for me and mcdonald's for him and Haru. Lol. Way to have two cheat days in a week! I don't know if I'll ever get back on track of my keto diet. Hopefully! Because I don't want to waste the 10kg I lost in a month! But that update will be included in another post.. once I lost 15-20kg I guess. To end this post here's a recent pic of my son!

300 Coins & Flying Tiger Mini Haul

I'm running out of things to blog about so I've been MIA for the last couple of months so now I'm gonna do this haul 'coz I've found really cute stuff for real cheap!

Me and Haru slept over at my friend's home last friday then went shopping at Cocoon at Saitama Shintoshin the next day.

We first went to Flying Tiger and then I got these two items~

Notebook: ¥300

Plaster Kit: ¥400

I thought the notebook/diary was cute it had this humorous warning sign on it.

I'm planning to write all our passwords on it so if you're a hacker or a robber.

Don't rob this notebook or else your nose will fall off!

What I did with the plaster is instead of using Haru's hands

I used his feet 'coz he was playing with it.

We then went to 300 coins where everything only costs 300 yen! Well, some costs 1000 but those are the big stuff.

I got 2 of the same organizers 'coz I bought the other one some time ago.

I then I got this other organizer to keep some wires

and so Haru wouldn't be able to open the box below it.

And here are my favorites from all of the stuff I bought! I got these at 300 Coins for only 300 yen!

You pour water on a little container, it absorbs it and it'll smell good!

It doesn't have a strong scent though, it only kinda smells like fresh water?

Little update about me, I just made these acrylic nails for the first time and it's a bit of a fail but it's good 'coz it's my first time. It looks nice from afar though but God it's so hard to type, wash my sons butt and do stuff! I think I'm going to try gels next time.

Haru's 1st Birthday!

Oh how I've missed blogging! I'm blogging here on my phone and boy is it hard! We have wifi but can't connect LAN on our PC and our desktop fan broke so my friend adviced me to not use it until we buy a new one. It's been a month now and oooh how I've missed playing Sims 4 and Fallout! I did have troubles with Haru's birthday party due to our PC being broken. I wasn't able to print as much decorations but overall the party was a success! We celebrated his party on the 30th of January and not on his actual birthday which is January 18. Not many people came but I was ok with it because we just had a house party and we didn't bother renting a venue. Here are some of the pics me and my friend took at my son's Winnie the Pooh themed party!

She makes all kinds of really yummy sweets and desserts and I got a discount!

I found these printables online and glued it on a little plastic spoon.

These cupcakes needed to be eaten with a spoon.

I did made the 'Happy Birthday Haruki' banner but my friend made the Haruki printable. I bought his Winnie the Pooh cake topper from Amazon. It's not actually a cake topper but a talking toy but I thought it would look cute on top of the cake plus Haru could play with it afterwards.

I bought and painted the letters and made the pompom garland at the back.

And here is the set up! I made the paper garland hanging from the ceiling and I also made the 'Happy 1st Birthday Haruki' banner and got the little Pooh and friends printables from Disney Family website. I wanted his party to be a bit woodsy like the Hundred Acre Woods and not too colorful. I bought baloons and my friend got me party crackers but I forgot to use 'em. But it's ok 'coz it'll be a pain to pop the baloons after the party and it'd be really messy with the party crackers.

I made this piñata following The Sorry Girls' tutorial.

Here are his giveaways that I also DIYed. Inside there are Winnie the Pooh mini tupperwares, Winnie the Pooh notebook with a pencil, ruler and an eraser and a Winnie the Pooh face towel.

It came in different colors. I bought a lot from Rakuten and it costed me ¥7,000+ for 40pcs each of everything! We still have a lot left since not a lot of people came. Wonder if I should sell it on ebay?

Have you ever been to a party where your guests cooks food for the other guests? Lol. I am so grateful for the people who helped me cook for the party! I actually didn't do much cooking instead I looked after Haru and all the other guests.

Happy New Year Everyone!

This is our 'nengajō' of the year. I didn't get to buy the blank postcards with takarakuji (lotto numbers) because it was too late so this is not actually an official nengajō but just a plain 'ol greeting card but I still want to call it nengajō! I worked hard making this! (I am not good with photoshop plus I googled real hard for year of the monkey themed background! Took me for hours!)

Anyway, I am now blogging at 5:57am Japan time. No, I haven't slept yet! I am doing last minute packing 'coz I procrastinated during the holidays and now we're moving in just a day and a few more hours! And I'm here blogging while doing last minute packing.. priorities huh?! Hahaha..

This is my new year alright!

My Husband is too busy playing Fall Out 4 so he can't help me. I shouldn't have bought him that game for Christmas! It's too addicting that he forgets that he's a husband and a father. He's too into being a survivor of the Commonwealth! Well, atleast he's not flirting with his companions!

So, I made a dick move today! I washed the motor of our dyso vacuum! Yeah, stupid.. I know. I just wanna laugh it off but I'm crying deep inside. I didn't know you're supposed to wash it until my husband saw oil drips. He didn't get mad 'coz we got it for free from his friend. Still, it's dyso! Dyso vacuums are frickin' expensive! He said he'll get me a new one 'coz he didn't get me a Christmas present.. but I wanted a roomba.. *sad face* I just hope we can still use it. Still waiting for it to dry.. lol.

So sad.. R.I.P. Dyso! Still waiting for a miracle tho..

Well oh! Would you look at the time! It's 7:51am?! Wtf I was typing this at 5:57! Oh well, bye for now! I'll have no internet for days so it'll probably take me ages to update. So I'm off to packing again and drinking coffee! Bye bye~

Moving..

So we've finally decided that we'll be moving on to our new home in 4th of January. We're really excited yet really overwhelmed. I know my husband is
~~NOT~~gonna help me with all the packing and stuff. He's busy and I know he's tired from work so I have to do EVERYTHING! And oh my gosh, I don't know where to start?! Hmm..

10 big boxes and 20 small ones which I don't what to put yet.

Oooh.. TAPE!

Today, a guy from a moving company (Sakai) came to tell us everything about moving. I know we could haggle a bit to lower the price but since I let my husband do all the talking ('Coz you know, I gotta let him feel he's the boss even though I'm the real boss! Lol.) he didn't haggle because he can't! He's the type of person who would see that this person is working so hard that this person deserves to be payed like how he wants it which in the end will turn into regret. He'll be like, "why did I agree to pay for that much?! It's too expensive!" Urghh..

But we did get a discount because our real estate agent introduced us to this company and we are moving in the afternoon, not sure what time yet but you'll get ¥10,000 or more worth of discount for agreeing to move in the afternoon. Depends if the movers are busy and they have customers during the morning. So we're going to pay a total of ¥73,360 instead of ¥100,000 - ¥120,000. It's a lot of money to pay for movers. My husband's friend only payed 50,000 for the movers because that guy could haggle! And he moved in September. But I thought it was reasonable.. I mean, they are going to remove and install the aircon on the 2nd floor of our new home too.

I read somewhere that the cheapest times of the year to move are June, October and November. Not really sure about September. But I've learned that it's cheap when you're going to move during the rainy season. It says that the most expensive times are March, April, ('Coz a lot of people are moving due to company transfers) July, August because it's summer vacation and the Golden week which is about in April and May.

We decided to move in January instead of December because it's a lot cheaper to move in January. If we moved in December we're going to pay between ¥100,000 - ¥120,000 and we're not paying for that much! ¥70,000 is already too expensive for us. Besides, it's unlucky to move by the end of the year.. you know, superstitions.

I've also read that they can give 2,000 discount if we would take used boxes instead but the person from the Sakai company (Panda) already gave us new ones so it's okay. He also gave us 1kg of rice and a magazine. I guess I'll do a part 2 of the actual moving process. I found quite a lot of helpful moving tips from youtube!

Haru at 10 months

Last time I blogged about Haru he was just 5 months old and now he's 10 months old! Time flies so fast... He now weighs 10kg and is 73.1cm tall. He's easy to feed because he'd eat everything but his favorite will be his apple and carrot yogurt (べビーダノン brand). At his early age he can already walk and climb on to the bed, sofa, kotatsu... He climbs everywhere! He has become quite a handful. I am really happy about his fast development but he's such a daredevil! I mean, it worries me A LOT! He would climb EVERYWHERE but because he doesn't know how to get down most of the time he would fall! And I guess I'm pretty lucky that even when he falls he'd turn out to be okay. I can't watch him all the time because I have house chores to do (Ahh.. life of a housewife!). One time I left him inside his crib and I thought he'd be safe inside 'coz there's no freakin' way he'd be able to climb out of his crib right? Turns out I was ~~WRONG~~! He was able to climb out of his crib leaving him to fall! Good thing his angel caught him! He cried but he was okay! (He fell on tatami covered with linoleum flooring so of course he's gonna be okay!)

I am really lucky that I have him as my baby. He may be a handful but it's easy to tend to his needs. Sometimes we have bad days that he'd be naughty and I won't stay patient with him but I'm no perfect mom. I feel guilty getting mad at him sometimes but I say sorry afterwards 'coz who could stay mad at this little cutie?! I CAN'T!

My Number One and My Treasure

I can't believe he'll be 1 year old in 2 months. I can't wait for him to say mama! He already spoke papa like 2 times but he never spoke mama which saddens me I mean, I am with you 24/7 and your first word is papa before mama?! But it's okay.. you'll say mama real soon~ and when you do I'll be the happiest mama ever! I love you Haru! Thank you for being my baby!

Getting Back On Track

I've fallen off the weightloss wagon for so many times and now I'm making a comeback! Instead of eating once a day I thought I'd just eat healthier than deprive myself from food.. so here are the yummy healthy meals I've been eating for the last 5 days. I wasn't able to record saturday and sunday 'coz we ate out and stayed at my dad's place.

This is the easiest healthy meal prep I had to do! Perfect for busy AND lazy people~

Ingredients are:

Asparagus
Salmon
Pesto (homemade or store bought)
Baby Tomatoes
Salt and Pepper

How to:

Arrange and wrap everything inside the foil
Pop it in the oven for 20-25 mins. in 250°C
DONE!

Another easy meal prep I ate for lunch and dinner are these healthy Egg Muffins!

Ingredients:

5 Eggs
Milk
Salt and Pepper
Olive oil
Brocolli
Spinach
Cheese
Pineapple chunks

How to:

Mix all the eggs and about a half of cup of milk all together
Add salt and pepper to taste
Greese the muffin pan with olive oil
Stuff the muffin tin with chopped spinach, chopped brocolli, cheese and pineapple chunks
Pour in the egg batter
Pop inside the oven for 15-20 minutes in 250°C
DONE!

This Teriyaki Tofu Steak is the BOMB!

You have to try this! I did this by following this step by step procedure on youtube.

Tomato Roll Cabbage

with tofu and ground chicken as filling

Ingredients:

Ground chicken
2 blocks of tofu
Salt and pepper
Cabbage
Tomato purée
Chicken broth cube

How to:

Drain tofu for 30 mins.
In a boiling water, slightly soften cabbage leaves　　
Mix ground chicken, tofu, salt and pepper
Once the cabbage leaves have cooled, divide the tofu and chicken meat mixture among the cabbage leaves. Roll and tuck and place it inside a sauce pan
Turn on the heat and pour in the tomato purée inside the sauce pan
Add about 3/4 cup of water and 1 chicken broth cube or chicken konsome
Wait for 10-15 mins. in medium heat
DONE!

Chicken pesto and mixed veggies

Ingredients:

Onion
Garlic
2 Chicken breasts
Asparagus
Carrots
Cabbage
Spinach
Pesto
Salt and Pepper

How to:

I just sautéed everything together, added pesto then mixed everything well,

added a bit of salt and pepper and DONE!

This was an experiment, not exactly instagram worthy but really tasty!

And that's it!

I just got everything off pinterest and added just a few ingredients to make it into my version!

IKEA Haul

It was my first time okay! I wanted to do a vlog but I was too embarassed 'coz there were a lot people and I don't wanna be waving my phone all over the place so I just took footage of when we're going to the store and the stuff we bought!

All the pictures I'm about to show are from the IKEA website 'coz I couldn't take pictures of the actual stuff just yet 'coz it's all inside the car and taking it all would be a hassle. I guess I'll do that in a seperate post once everything is in place so let's get started!

I'm very excited about our new system closet!

We opted for Algot 'coz it's a lot cheaper and we decided to tweak it.

So you're looking at the exact closet that we want minus the shoe rack

and the trouser hanger 'coz we replaced both with the mesh baskets.

So we have 8 mesh baskets in total.

We got this pendant lamp for our dining area which my husband calls traveler?!

It reminds him of his favorite game, Destiny. He's obsessed with this lamp! Lol.

My favorite purchase of all is this faux sheep skin!

It's a lot cheaper than the original and weighs a lot lighter.

I've been wanting this muffin tin

'coz I wanted to make egg muffins!

I couldn't find this in other shops!

Good thing IKEA has EVERYTHING!

(Omg I sound like an IKEA staff! Lol.)

Now onto the boring stuff.. lol.

and decided to move in January.

My mom and stepdad advised as to do so 'coz they said that it'll bring more luck.

I don't know if that's true but nothing's gonna happen if we believe it anyway~

We bought a house!

Yaaas! No more renting! Well.. no more renting once we've moved! But we aren't moving just yet because my husband wants us to move after Christmas, by the 27th 'coz he has one week vacation from work by that time. Just when I thought we are going to celebrate Christmas at the new house! I was really excited to decorate for Christmas! But I guess there's always next year.. by that time, Haru won't be wrecking the Christmas tree! So anyway, how 'bout an empty house tour?!!

We are planning to put a roof out there for the car

the toilet automatically opens aswell, it's kinda welcoming you to do your business!

It's really cool and there's bidet! Bidets are awesome!

but there aren't ours. It didn't come with the house aswell..

all those are for show when people come in to see the house! Showroom stuff!

Omg! We hava a pantry! But of course we're going to install the shelves ourselves.

Oh hello! Here's our bathroom slash laundry room!

Here's our living room area, we could put a wall there so it can be another room

but we decided to just leave it as it is so it'll be a lot more spacious.

There's also a big closet there.

but I'm thinking of placing the desk and computer here. hmmm.. we shall see!

Here's the dining area and there's James, the guy who sold us our house! Lol.

It's a nice veranda aye? I want to put outdoor furnitures out there

so we could hang out and have breakfast outdoors! Lol.

My husband says it's not gonna happen but I'll make it happen alright!

This room can actually be two rooms if we decided to put a wall that divides this room together

but we decided to leave it as it is 'coz we're planning to have another baby

and I thought it'll be easier to look after for the baby if we just share a big 'ol room together!

Who knows? Maybe when the kids grow up I can divide this space and

a new walk in closet maybe?! Or an office?! Hmm.. So many possibilities!

Here's our closet and it's empty. There are no rods or shelves

which I think is good so we can customize a system closet we wanted.

I am thinking of the Algot system from IKEA 'coz it's a lot cheaper than PAX.

PAX is really cool but it's too darn expensive!

Or this system from NISSEN but it's expensive aswell..

I'm so confused! I want a stylish yet a budget friendly closet!

This'll be Haru's room. Since he's still sleeping with us I guess this'll be his playroom for now.

There's another room that I didn't get to take a pic. That'll be the guest room or the office.

Empty closet!

There are a total of 3 rooms in the house but we can transform it into 5 rooms if we want. We just have to inform our 'housemaker' as they call them and they'll do everything but of course it's costly! We still have a lot of things to do for the house but we wanted to do it one at a time. So we can do everything exactly like we wanted without breaking the bank! Hehehe.. I'm planning to do the closets first! Organization first before decoration! Yaaas! I may do a blog series about decoration and organization Idk but I'm so excited! But yeah, bye for now~

Oh Lord where do I start? Hmm.. I haven't been blogging for a while because a lot has been happening and I can't think properly. My mind's preoccupied with a lot of things that I can't blog but anyway.. here's a summary of what have happened to me during all those times I was gone..

We went to the Philippines last August 27 and we (me and Haru 'coz my mom stayed there for 2 more weeks) stayed there until September 13. I was really happy to be home! I've met with my childhood friend from Zamboanga and I haven't seen her for ages and we finally get to see each other after a very long time! Plus she gets to meet my baby! I also met with my best friends in Manila and especially my relatives! I was so happy to be reunited with my brothers and my family from Valenzuela! Saying goodbye was the hardest because I have to hold my tears 'coz I don't wanna cry in front of them! I'm an adult! Lol. But yeah.. good times!

After my vacation from the Philippines, on September 19, me and my husband with our baby went out of town to celebrate our 2 years of being together and our 1st wedding anniversary and also my birthday! Yes! 3 celebrations in one! Ultimate money saver! Lol.

We stayed at Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village.

On September 26, I celebrated my birthday with my friends at Warehouse Omiya.

On October 11, we went house hunting and on the 17th we finally decided we're going to get the house that we wanted! So yes! Updates soon about that since we aren't officially moving.. we're still working on a lot of things.. thinking about it stresses me lol. So yeah.. but here's what the house looks like~

On October 18, my God daughter celebrated her 1st birthday

and it's Hello Kitty themed.

And now this November.. nothing has been going on really.. just met with my friends and ate dinner with them and then some house stuff we're working on.. I guess I'll tell everything about the house in a different post but yeah we're really excited to move! Although, we know it's gonna be a lot of work and I'll probably won't get to blog immediately because of the internet and stuff but I'll do an update ASAP!

Update on my son~ He's 9 months old, turning 10 this November 18. He's growing up so fast omg! He's taller and weighs 10kg now! He's a chubby baby so he's really heavy he hurts my arms! Huhu.. He's got a lot of teeth now, 8 to be exact. He can stand up on his own and walk now! But he can only do just a few steps, his walks are still wobbly. Here's a recent pic of him btw~

Hitori Kakurenbo

It's that time of year again.. YES! It's almost Halloween and what better way to start this blog after a 4 month hiatus?! Hmm.. How 'bout a story of an infamous game/ritual here in Japan. Hitori Kakurenbo (Hide and Seek Alone).

I haven't tried this yet nor am I going to 'coz this game is really scary. I want to try only if I don't have a baby but I do so yeah, ~~NEVER~~!

So here's how the game works.. you'll need:

A doll with arms and legs (I read that it's too risky to use a real doll like the Annabelle doll 'coz the spirit may not leave the doll.) Preferably a stuffed toy~ i.e. a stuffed bear.
Scissors
Rice
Nail Clippings 'coz it says it's a lot safer than using your blood, hair or saliva.
A red thread and a needle
Knife or any sharp object to stab the doll with but some say it's a lot safer to use a mechanical pencil or pencil.
Salt
Alcohol/Sake or salt water in a cup

So here's what you do before you play:

Give your stuffed toy a name.
Then you cut the stuffed toy open to take all it's stuffings out and then replace it with rice together with your nail clippings. I read that you should avoid using someone else's nail clippings, blood, hair or saliva as it may put that person in danger but what if you hate that person? You can curse him/her if you want but I won't risk it as it may also put you in danger since you're the one who played the game.
You sew the doll back together using a red thread. Yes, a red thread 'coz it says it serves as blood vessles. (Ooo creepy..)

So here's how you play:

Wait until it's 3AM and make sure you're the only one in the house. No pets, no friends (unless you're both going to play it) just YOU. Just to be safe you can always keep your phone with you on silent. And you can also have someone outside of your house or apartment to wait.

First, you fill your tub with water. If you don't have a bathtub you could use your sink or a pale. Just something to submerge the stuffed toy in the water with. Also prepare your glass full of alchohol/sake or salt water.

Turn off all the lights and leave your TVs on. I read somewhere that they left their TVs and radio on but it's set on static.

Find yourself a hiding place, preferably a closet. Pour a ring of salt around your hiding place just to be safe.

Now to start, stand over the tub and then while holding your toy say, '*your name* will be the first' 3x.

Drop the toy into the tub, go into the next room and count to 10. After that, return to where you left the doll and say, '*toy's name* I found you!'' Stab the doll with the sharp object of your choice then say, 'Now *toy's name* is it!' 3x.

Sip a mouthful of alchohol/sake or saltwater and then with the glass/cup of alchohol/sake or salt water quickly but quietly go into your hiding spot. Do not make a sound. Be still and be really quiet and observe the strange things that's about to happen inside your hiding spot.

How to end the game:

If you're ready to end the game or if you think the presence of the spirit is not there anymore.. leave your hiding spot with your cup. REMEMBER do not swallow the alchohol/sake or salt water inside your mouth. ~~NEVER~~ look behind you while you're looking for the toy.

Once you've found the toy spit at it with the alchohol/sake or salt water in your mouth and also pour the rest of the liquid over it. Close your eyes and say, 'I win!' 3x.

Turn the lights back on, dry the stuffed toy and then BURN IT! BURN IT ASAP! It's very important you do so, otherwise, the spirit may not leave the doll.

And then the game is over. You should be okay if you follow the rules carefully but I highly suggest you don't do this, It's too risky!

I've read somewhere that you're only allowed to play with the spirit/demon 2 hours tops or it'll find you. (Omggg) And you should never fall asleep while playing because it'll stab you with the sharp object you stabbed it with. (That's why it's a lot safer to use an unsharped pencil.)

And that no matter what happens you do not swallow the salt water you've sipped 'coz it serves as a cloak from the spirit. Kinda like an invisibility cloak?

And that you should never leave the house while playing and whatever happens you have to finish the game.

I've read stories about their experiences while playing Hitori Kakurenbo and if there's one thing they regret doing is playing this game. In my opinion, I don't think the players are dealing with just a normal spirit but a demon. No one should ever risk playing this game 'coz they're inviting something evil in their lives. Why I think it's a demon? In hide and seek the 'it' means 'oni' here in Japan. In english, 'oni' means '~~demon~~'. Ok! So even if I posted this it's just for spooks and I'm telling you this game is no normal game. If you make a single mistake the demon may haunt you for the rest of your life.

Haru's 5 months old!

Haru just turned 5 months today and I'm really excited to start introducing him to foods! I let him drink soup and juice today. Maybe I'll start introducing him to solids by the time he's 5 ½ months old. Really excited!

And as a 5 month anniversary gift I thought I'd get him a brand new stroller!

A Mickey Mouse stroller!

I bought Haru a new stroller 'coz the one's he's been using was a hand-me-down from a friend and it's kinda wobbly.. I thought Haru won't be safe riding it anymore.

I've been googling 'best strollers for babies' for days! And I couldn't decide on any. Until I saw this! I wanted to give Haru something Disney themed so I ordered this on Rakuten. This was a bit expensive so my wallet's going to be crying next month! But, 'It's better to spend money on something expensive but you really like rather than spend money on something cheap that you don't even like.' Lol. And isn't it cute?! It's Mickey Mouse and it's from Graco. One of the 'good' brands here in Japan. Most of their strollers are cute! They even have a My Melody stroller! Too bad Haru isn't a girl or else I would've bought this one! Lol.

And a 'Hello Kitty' one. めちゃ可愛い！

And their strollers are not as expensive unlike other brands in Japan. They won't go up to ￥50,000 and they have a variety of designs! So it's a good brand. Great investment!

Aaand that's it! I thought I'd blog about being a mom sometimes.. I've never posted about Haru when he's 1-4 months old. And I thought maybe I'd share he's milestones from now on. (◡‿◡✿)
