Spent most of my holidays reading The Kinfolk Table and trying out some of the recipes inside it. Such a beautiful beautiful book, you just want to go through it over and over again. Great for a Sunday read, here's a peek inside it.

By the way.. Happy 2014!

Happy Holidays!

Although on December I spent most of the time knitting and if I wasn't knitting I was sleeping, here are some bits and pieces I took throughout the month. I did have a little bit of time to bake a strawberry and balsamic crumble that was delicious. I also want to thankyou for all the support with Miss Willow (www.misswillow.net) I feel so so happy! I am ready for a well deserved week long christmas movies marathon until the holidays are over.

Merry Christmas!

Marc by Marc Jacobs approached me to feature their latest fall collection on the blog a couple of weeks ago, I obviously said yes right away. Got a peek of the collection and everything looked just great, There was loada of mixing of fabrics and textures that they showed for this collection, really great cardigans and jumpers with easy going colours that you can wear with almost anything. And I was in love with that patent leather crossbody bag. I chose to wear this beautiful velvet-ish print dress in two ways and loved them both. You can practically wear this dress everywhere. Thanks Marc by Marc Mexico!

Some pictures I took a few weeks ago at the first Kinfolk Magazine gathering in Mexico, it was a flower potluck gathering, everyone was making flower arrangements, drinking wine and very good coffee, listening to good music and we (The Heartwarming Kitchen) got to make all the food for the night. It was really lovely.

I fell in love with these Celine look-alike wedges when I saw them, although I'm actually scared of wearing silver colored shoes because I never tend to use these colors, thought I would go out of my comfort zone for a change, plus these are very comfortable.
