In the winter, you may not think these smells are as big of a problem, but there are still times when they can come out and haunt you. When you wear warm clothes, for example, you might be comfortable outside, but inside, you can still get hot. This can cause sweating that you did not plan to occur and when that happens, you might not be as protected as you would be in the summer. Here are a few ideas to take into account when you are trying to stay fresh during the winter.</p>

<h2>Tips to stay fresh during winter</h2>

<li>Wear Layers If you are worried that you will get too hot in your office or anywhere else and possibly start to sweat, make sure you try wearing layers. You can wear that nice, warm sweater you have, but also wear a lighter shirt underneath so if the sweater gets too hot, you can take it off. This will help you combat indoor sweating and discomfort outside as well.</li>
<li>Wear Underarm Protection Even though you may not sweat as much as you do in the summer, there are plenty of reasons why sweat might still be a part of your day. You might get hot working out, from wearing clothing that is too heavy, or even from being nervous. It is still a good idea to wear women&#8217;s antiperspirant or <a target="_blank" href="http://www.degreedeodorant.com/en/women/Products/dry-protection-fresh-oxygen">dry protection deodorant for women</a> so that you do not have to worry about how you smell no matter what you do.</li>
<li>Shower Since you do not get as sticky in the winter, you may not feel the need to shower as often, but you still need a regular hygiene regimen. Make sure when you do shower, you massage your scalp with shampoo to get as much dirt and grime out of your hair as possible. Choose gentle cleaners for your face and exfoliating gels for your body. Then, when you get out of the shower, moisturize thoroughly. Winter months have a way of drying out the skin and even the hair. In order to feel fresh, you will want to make sure your skin is as soft as possible.</li>

<p>Staying fresh in the winter may be easier than the summer, but there are still steps you need to take to make it happen.</p>

This can be frustrating for parents who want their children to be healthy, yet need their kids to eat something. At this point parents may need some creativity in how and what they feed their kids. For those struggling with a picky eater, here are some tips to consider.</p>

<h3>1. Create a Routine</h3>
<p>Start by creating a routine for meals and snacks, so your child&#8217;s appetite will be honed for meals throughout the day. Have a set time for each meal or snack, and don&#8217;t give food or juices to your child at other times. Often a child will fill up on juice and then refuse to eat his or her dinner at meal time. Instead, stick to giving out water when your child is thirsty.</p>
<h3>2. Introduce New Foods Slowly</h3>
<p>One source of picky eating is children tend to be wary of foods they are not used to. In order to overcome this, introduce new vegetables or other foods alongside one of the child&#8217;s preferred foods. Talk with your child about the color, aroma and texture of the food while avoiding talking about what the food tastes like. You may need to expose the new food several times to your child before they will try it, and several times more before they will eat an entire portion, so be patient but persistent.</p>
<h3>3. Involve Your Child in the Process</h3>
<p>Make food more inviting and less mysterious by allowing your child to help you select healthy options, such as grains, fruits and vegetables while at the grocery store. Allow your child to help wash or prepare the foods in other ways, so they will be more interested in what they are eating. Finally, teach your child in simple ways about what they are eating, such as saying milk helps your bones to be strong so you can run and play.</p>
<h3>4. Be Creative and Fun</h3>
<p>If your child has a favorite meal, slip extra nutrients into it, such as adding chopped up broccoli or green peppers to spaghetti sauce. Add fruit to your child&#8217;s favorite cereal and grate zucchini and carrots into casseroles and soups. Try cutting a sandwich into a fun shape, or place a favorite dipping sauce next to a new vegetable.</p>
<h3>5. Minimize Distractions</h3>
<p>Some children refuse to eat because they are more interested in playing with their friends, a new toy or watching TV. Help to eliminate these distractions by having toys put away and the TV turned off a good half an hour before mealtime and don&#8217;t allow any toys or electronics at the table. This way your child will be able to focus on eating. In addition, make it a rule for children to stay at the table until mealtime is over, even if they are refusing to eat.</p>
