Trick2: You can select any other mobile operator network to make your mobile phone not reachable. For this follow this path Setting -> Wireless or Networks (or Phone Settings) -> Network Selection. Here in network selection you must choose Manual. That will search all networks available in your clutter or area, you have to select any network other than the actual one. This will make your mobile in not reachable mode.

Trick3: One of easiest trick to make your mobile not reachable is by putting it in Airplane or Flight mode.

Trick4: Simply divert or forward your mobile calls to a land-line phone number at your home and remove the receiver from the cradle. How to Disable Applications using more Internet Data in Windows 8 Computer

When you start using Windows 8 in computer, you might be stunned with the huge internet data wasting in applications. Sometimes we sat before our computer having windows 8 operating system and after some time of internet surfing, we get suprised to check our internet data usage. That's two or three times more than our data use in windows XP or vista.

We don't have problem with this excessive internet data usage when we have unlimited downloading data plans, he don't need to check that total data usage. But It really means a lot for a person having limited internet data plan. Specially for a person who have few GB of internet data plan.

I'm sharing below some tips which will helps you disable or remove that applications using more internet data and will let you maintain your internet speed.

1. Change Windows Update Settings. You must change windows update settings. By default it is in Automatic Windows Update, you need to change it to first make you notify before downloading any updates. Follow below steps to complete this task.

Open Control Panel, and Click on System and Security.
Now hit Windows Update option and then Click on Change settings at left side menu.
Check for Important Updates option. There are four options available, We have to select third option saying Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them.and then Click OK.

2. Disable Automatic Install Updates of Web Browsers. Web Browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Opera etc. are by default in Automatic Install Updates mode, and that really waste your internet data. Follow below simple steps to disable these automatic updates.

Open your Web Browser (Say Mozilla Firefox)
Navigate to Options.
A pop up window appears, click on Advanced tab.
Choose Update option. And then click on Check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them.
Click OK and you've done.

3. Change PC Settings of Windows 8. By default many applications are installed in windows 8 computer and that waste your internet data in continuously updating. You need to disable these applications or make their status to Off for updates.

Press Win + C, you'll move to charm bar in windows 8.
Click on Settings option, then click on Change PC Setting showing at bottom of tab.
After clicking PC setting you will be directed to a new window, click on Search from the tabs.
A list of applications or apps will be shown which is using your internet data. Choose unwanted apps from this list and change their status to OFF.

How to access internet on computer through a dial up connection
If you want to access internet on your computer or laptop by your mobile through a dial up connection, you need to install proper USB drivers for your mobile to your computer. These USB drivers help your computer to use mobile device as a modem.

You need to download and install these USB drivers from the manufacturer official site of your mobile device, make sure USB data cable should be disconnected from the computer at the time of installation. After you've successfully install these USB drivers, you have to connect your mobile to computer via a working USB data cable. Your computer will automatically detect mobile device as a modem.

Now you have to create a dial up connection, follow below steps. Make sure I'm explaining these steps for Windows 8, but these are applicable for windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 also with some minor change in position.

1. First Go to Control Panel, and then click on Network and Internet.

2. After that click on Networking and Sharing Center. Here you need to click on Set up a new connection or network.

3. A pop up window will appear, click on very first option Connect to the Internet and press Next.

4. Here a list of connections is shown. If you want to connect any already created dial up connection, choose any. But if you want to create a new dial up connection, click on No, create a new connection option. and press Next.

5. Select Dial-up from appeared window, now information of Internet service provider is asked.
Simply type *99# in Dial-up phone number, and leave other information blank. You can also give a name to your connection by filling in Connection name field. And Click Connect.

6. Your computer will start dialing on your dial up modem, and connect it with your mobile. You can access internet by using this dial up connection. This dial up connection will be shown in network connection.

7. Any time you want to access internet through dial up connection, simply connect your mobile device to computer through USB data cable. And click on dial up connection option, click Connect.

8. You've done. Enjoy your internet.

1. Connect your android mobile to laptop or computer via USB data cable.
2. Now click Menu button of mobile. and follow the below path

Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> USB Tethering
After clicking Tethering, your device will show a tethered massage. That shows your mobile has started working as modem and can access internet to computer. You can check the status on your network connectivity icon.

Note : When you connect your mobile to computer via USB data cable, you require a driver to run the internet. If your laptop or computer is not connecting to your mobile or mobile is not acting as a modem, you have to install that driver.

For that Go to Control Panel in your computer, and in Device Manager check Network adapters and Others drivers. If any thing is showing with a yellow exclamation error sign, right click on that and update drivers (you need a internet connection for this process). It will fix your problem of Modem unavailable massage.

If it does not fix your problem or no update drivers are showing, Go to your smartphone or android mobile manufacturer official website. And search for the drivers of your phone model in support section. Download it, Your problem has been fixed.

How to use WiFi hotspot to access internet on computer.

1. First you've to convert your android mobile modem to a WiFi hotspot.

To convert your android mobile to a WiFi hotspot, follow given path

Settings -> Wireless & networks -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> Portable Wi-Fi hotspot
When you click on portable WiFi hotspot, a message af hotspot active show below Check box. You've created WiFi hotspot.

You can change the settings of portable WiFi hotspot by clicking Portable WiFi hotspot settings tab below check box. You can configure Network SSID, Security option (WPA2 PSK recommended) and password.

2. Now on your computer check the networks showing, it must show your Portable WiFi hotspot in WiFi networks.
3. Click on this network connection, and then click on Connect.
4. You've done.

You can access internet via USB Tethering and Portable WiFi hotspot on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8. There will little bit change in every operating system.

Hey friends, although 3G has been launched from a long time and different mobile operators like Airtel, Reliance, Idea, Vodafone, Aircel, BSNL, MTNL have started their 3G network in almost all telecom circle, but still the 3G speed is not that up to the mark for what we want to pay. Mobile users are still starving for true 3G speed. I am basically from Jaipur, but i have been living in Delhi from a long time and i have experienced almost all 3G service providers network in Delhi. So here i am sharing the 3G speed of different 3G network in delhi telecom circle, what i experienced.

How to check 3G speed of your network?
Here i will suggest you an android application/app Speedtest.net what i used to check.

AIRTEL 3G:
Here i am starting with the most popular and reliable 3G service provider of Delhi i.e AIRTEL 3G, yupp also my favorite one. Airtel 3G is providing a constant speed of more than 2Mbps in most part of delhi. Airtel 3G provides 10GB of data for Rs.1500. Although Airtel 3G speed is not the fastest speed but it is consistent and good quality of service. Airtel 3G may seems little expensive, but not bad for that consistent speed.

VODAFONE 3G:
Vodafone 3G is also popular for its low cost 3G offers and good 3G speed. I think it is the best competitor of Airtel in Delhi. Vodafone 3G is also providing a speed of more than 2Mbps in most of the places of Delhi. Vodafone 3G provides 10GB of data for Rs. 1250, less than Airtel 3G. But the thing what makes airtel 3G a bit upper than vodafone 3G is its inconsistent speed of service, sometimes that reduce to a very low unsatisfactory speed. But overall, it is as good as Airtel for 3G users.

IDEA 3G:
Idea 3G also known for good 3G offers and 3G speed. But it can't be compared with Airtel and Vodafone because of its less coverage area of 3G network. At most the places of delhi it is difficult to find Idea 3G network, so you have to use 2G network. We are paying for 3G network but using 2G network, thats not a good deal anymore. Also Idea 3G doesn't offer strong 3G network. I will never suggest you to go for Idea 3G service provider.

RELIANCE GSM 3G:
Why are you using Reliance Gsm 3G?
Only due to low cost offers and relatively cheaper 3G service. yah of course Reliance is the cheapest 3G service provider, but at the same time it the worst network provider and also irritating one in my case. It provides speed of less than 2Mbps and sometime less than a 2G service, which irritates me. In some places of delhi, Reliance 3G gives good speed of 3G but fluctuating speed. I will suggest you to first check Reliance 3G speed in your area before starting this service, may be it provide you good speed.

MTNL 3G:
Although MTNL is one the first company to bring 3G service in India, but it falls beyond my expectation. I want to say MTNL 2G is way much stable and better than MTNL 3G. sometimes its became very hard for surfing internet with MTNL 3G. It is not able to get a good speed in all parts of delhi.

There was a time when all TVs contained a cathode ray tube (CRT) and, as a result, were bulky and heavy. CRT TV work by firing a stream of negatively charged particles, called electrons, at a phosphor screen. When an electron strikes a phosphor atom, the atom becomes excited and emits light of a certain colour, hence creating one picture element, or “pixel”, of a TV picture.

These boxy sets take up a lot of space, cannot be viewed clearly from all angles and don’t display high-definition picture. I agree that the CRT TV dominated the market in the second half of the 20th century, but the search for a thinner, lighter and more energy efficient alternative dramatically reduce the demand of CRT TV.

Plasma TV technology is same as basic principle of CRT TV insofar as it relies on excited phosphor atoms to produce each pixel of a TV picture. However, instead of using a CRT, a plasma TV screen lights each pixel with a hot, ionized gas, consisting of atomic nuclei and electrons. This method allows every pixel in the display to be turned on or off at the same time and the absence of a CRT means that plasma TVs can be much thinner and lighter than their CRT counterparts.

Plasma televisions have excellent picture quality and use less electricity than traditional CRTs. The colors are very sharp and the televisions also display very deep blacks. The screen can sometimes experience a “color burn” if they get a lot of use. When the television is turned off, a shadow of images may stay on the screen, and the color may be slightly faded in the areas that are burned. One of the primary drawbacks of plasma technology is its cost. These TVs are somewhat heavier than others of their kind. They are also prohibitively expensive to repair and sometimes cannot be repaired at all. Plasma TVs also look much better in low light than in bright light.

liquid crystal display (LCD) TV technology, although LCD panels don’t, by themselves, generate any light of their own. Liquid crystal molecules twist and untwist when a voltage is applied or removed, so they’re simply used to regulate the passage of light from a traditional light source. If light is allowed to pass through a particular pixel, the pixel is “on” and appears light on the TV screen; if not, the pixel is “off” and appears dark.

LCD TVs are a good choice for people looking for an affordable HDTV. They have a much better picture quality and they’re relatively light-weight. They’re also ideal for watching television in any light condition; they work equally well in dark or well-lit rooms. One problem that some people have with LCD technology is that it is limited when compared to other types of HDTVs. The display has a low contrast ratio, and there is no way to get “true” black on the screen. This leads to LCD TVs having a slightly washed-out look that some people do not like. Additionally, some of the crystals in the display can burn out, leading to “dead pixels” on the screen. These blank flecks are irreparable and can be very distracting.

The latest type of HDTV use LED technology, known as light emitting diode (LED) TV is actually a special case of LCD TV. An LED is a tiny electronic device that emits light when a current passes through it. LEDs can be used to light LCD panels, either by means of an array positioned directly behind the panel or by housing them on the sides of the screen.

LED TVs have better color contrast and brightness than other type of TV technology. The display is bright enough to watch in any light. They also draw less power than either LCD or plasma displays, and the energy efficiency helps to compensate for the technology’s fairly high cost.
The greatest drawback of an LED TV is its cost. Because the technology is new, it is more expensive than its competition. Additionally, LED TVs still sometimes suffer from the “dead pixel” issue that haunts LCD screens.

Before buying laptops, you need to decide certain things for yourself like processor, graphics card, memory etc. With a few steps you will know the best configuration which is required for your laptop.

1. The first thing that you need in your laptop and compute is a processor. The best and latest configuration for a processor is the i5 which is more balanced. You will not be able to find out the difference between a i3 and i7 processor even while playing games, so this is only number increase not the configuration. The minimum number of frames that are required to form a video is 10. So any frame rate above 30 should give you a standard crisp and good video display anything above it is just a show off and does not make much difference to the viewer. 8. A laptop/computer should have at least 4 USB ports, 1LAN port, HDMI port, SATA port and another port for connecting to external video display devices like monitor or projector. Wi-Fi is a must for every laptop. A laptop without Wi-Fi is no laptop at all.

9. Laptop/computer with pre-installed OS saves you some money. You may install the OS later. But, machines with pre-installed OS comes with the added benefit of a motherboard CD. In the other case you need to individually download the motherboard CD and use its contents after burning it to a disc. Also a registered version of the OS that comes with a laptop with a pre-installed OS is definitely an added benefit.
