I want to visit the Pioneer tower which is built in 1926 B.C. because this Waterloo Pioneer Memorial Tower pays tribute to the arrival of the Pennsylvania-German pioneers to the Waterloo region between 1800 and 1803. Moreover, This building is visible symbol of the rise of German-Canadian nationalism during the 1920s, which resulted from anti-German sentiment, and cultural sanctions imposed on the community during the First World War. Not only that, these Germans settled here and still contributes their effort by developing Waterloo region.

Now, let’s come to the tower. The Pioneer tower is a very good example of a well-scaled design of simply detailed construction with a picturesque aesthetic. The tower shows excellent quality of craftsmanship and materials as evidenced by the cut fieldstone, and by the work on the tower’s entrance and observation deck. So that I can go to the observation deck and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Grand River. It is 18.9m high that is enough to see observe the city Kitchener. Above the observation desk, tapered "Swiss" copper roof, and the Conestoga wagon weather vane reflect the German speaking European origin and farming lifestyle of these early settlers. It has a simple well-proportioned profile, a tapered cylindrical shaft of random coursed fieldstone supporting a molded concrete cornice under a hexagonal gallery platform. The designation is confined to the footprint of the building.

The Waterloo Pioneer Memorial Tower is a Classified Federal Heritage Building because of its historical associations, and its architectural and environmental values.

The Pioneer Memorial Tower was erected near the earliest focus of Pennsylvanian-German settlement. The tower stands in a grassed area enclosed by a locked fence. The property also contains a small pioneer cemetery. The area surrounding the tower is mixed agricultural and urban development with wooded areas on the west shore of the river. The tower is a landmark to both residents and tourists by virtue of its prominence and significance.

Conwy Castle

I want to visit Conwy Castle, which is by any standards one of the great fortresses of medieval Europe. Conwy is probably the most impressive of all the Welsh castles. Conwy's eight massive towers and high curtain wall are very impressive.

I want to see a well-preserved wall, surrounded to Conwy Castle and town, lending an additional sense of strength to the site. I want to climb the highly defensible wall Edward built around the town. Moreover the beauty of this section of the country rivals anything in Britain. Approaching Conwy, the castle seems to suddenly rise out of the hills where I want to scream aloud. Furthermore, I want to hang on the majestic old suspension bridge connecting the castle with the main peninsula.

I want to jump like the spiderman on all the eight great towers and run like the longlegs on connecting walls of Conwy castle. I want to Journeying to the top of any of the towers and see the spectacular views of the town, surrounding coastline and countryside like the King Edward I. not only that I want to ride on flocks of sheep and roam the nearby hills.

At Conwy, however, he somehow created a building which, more than any other, demonstrates his brilliant understanding of military architecture.

No visit to Conwy is complete without a circuit of the town walls. They are one of the finest and most complete sets in Europe, over 3/4 mile in length with 21 towers and three original gateways.

TRANSFAGARASAN- The most beautiful road

Last year(2012)US publication CarsRoute has declared Romania's Transfagarasan the most beautiful road in the world in a top 15 ranking that anyone has to drive on.

In 2009, BBC's Top Gear also named the Transfagarasn Road first among the world's most beautiful.

The Transfagarasan was built between 1970 and 1974 by military forces. After the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia by the Soviets, Nicolae Ceausescu had it built as a strategic military route to cross the mountains in the event the Soviets attempted a similar move into Romania. The builders used 6000 tons of dynamite to clear a path for the road on the northern side of the mountains (this is the most spectacular) and on the tunnel. 40 soldiers lost their lives during construction.

The Transfagarasanul is the highest road in Romania and it reaches almost 2000 m above the sea level. It connects Muntenia and Transilvania, two historic parts of Romania.At its top you can find Lake Balea, a glaciar lake formes thousands of years ago.
There are also ruins of Poienari Castle, Vlad the Impaler’s real castle, lurking on this route, to get your blood flowing.

Akshardham is a Hindu temple complex in Delhi, India. Also referred to as Delhi Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture. The building was inspired and developed by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual head of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha, whose 3,000 volunteers helped 7,000 artisans construct Akshardham.
The Temple, which attracts approximately 70 percent of all tourists who visit Delhi, was officially opened on 6 November 2005. It sits near the banks of the Yamuna adjacent to the 2010 Commonwealth Games village in eastern New Delhi. The temple, at the center of the complex, was built according to the Vastu Shastra and Pancharatra Shastra. In addition to the large central temple crafted entirely of stone, the complex features exhibitions on incidents from the life of Swaminarayan and the history of India, an IMAX feature on the early life of Swaminarayan as the teenage yogi, Nilkanth, a musical fountain on the message of the Upanishads, and large landscaped gardens. The temple is named after a belief in Swaminarayan Hinduism.

Within the monument, under the central dome, lies a murti or statue of Swaminarayan which is 11-foot (3.4 m) high. The murti is surrounded by similar statues of the gurus of the sect Each murti is made of panch dhaatu or five metals in accordance to Hindu tradition. Also within the central monument lie the murtis of other Hindu deities, including Sita Ram, Radha Krishna, Shiv Parvati, and Lakshmi Narayan.

These all are just out of our ideas that is it possible in modern world? Not only that the central monument the temple has no iron elements in its structure, and no cement. The concrete was used only in the foundation. The rest was made of stone. Marble and granite for the construction was delivered from all over the world. It was processed using special technology, and then joint together. All pillars of the temple are stacked, and all stone elements are turned 90 degrees after being connected. It was done to provide seismic resistance in case of earthquakes, which sometimes happen in India. Imagine the level of precision required for stone processing to assemble this big "puzzle".

Mount Meru is Tanzania's second highest peak and 10th highest mountain in Africa standing at 14,980 ft (4566 m). Mount Meru is a beautiful, conically shaped volcano located in northern Tanzania in the heart of the Arusha National Park. Mount Meru is not an active volcano, its last minor eruption was over a century ago. On a clear day you can see Mount Kilimanjaro from Mount Meru, they are less than 50 miles apart. The first successful (recorded) ascent is still in dispute. It is credited to either Carl Uhlig in 1901 or Fritz Jaeger in 1904, both Germans, reflecting the colonial power of Germany over Tanzania at this time.

I want to click photographs at Mount Meru's photographic centerpiece of Arusha National Park. Its fertile slopes rise above the surrounding savannah and support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife, including nearly 400 species of birds, and also monkeys and leopards.

When on a Mount Meru trek , the ascend is quite steep, the route to the summit passes over streams, through parkland, forest, a giant heather zone and moorland. The summit is reached by a narrow, barren ridge, which provides stunning views of the Ash Cone lying several thousand feet below in the crater. Weather permitting, Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen in the West. Mt. Meru most recently had a minor eruption about a century ago. The several small cones and craters seen in the vicinity probably reflect numerous episodes of volcanic activity
