Withdrawal Syndrome

I have not watched the last episode of BBF yet. I want to watch it & I also don't want to watch it. Although this drama gave me a mixture of emotions--mostly disappointment, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the BTS--Behind The Scenes. One doesn't have to understand or learn Hangul to decipher Minho's & Hyesun's actions off camera. I've heard how they denied rumors of dating each other, but their actions off camera speak otherwise. Don't worry Minho and Hyesun, no one's going to get mad if you two hook up--actually, a lot of people are saying prayers & offering sacrifices for you to couple up in real life.

I want to delay watching the last 2 episodes as much as possible. It's because of this idea that if I didn't watch it, it ain't over yet. But I have to watch it at some point, I know. But not now, I'm still in denial that BBF is now over. And I have a paper to finish.

Boys Before Flowers Episode 23

A half-ass job--that's how episode 23 turned out. The only people working in this drama are the actors, especially Minho and Hyesun. I'm too tired and too hungry to even rant about this episode.

Last episode, they ruined Woobin's suit. This time, they ruined Jihoo's make up. Anymore things to ruin? If they listened to me about how they prolonged annoying pop-up's stay, then they wouldn't be rushing. It's retarded how Jandi can act so sweetly towards Junpyo and even tell him she loves him, then be cold to him at the end of the day. That's a serious case of PMS! Or maybe they're trying to portray Jandi as bipolar too!

There's goes another lip-pressing! Shall we have Junpyo's pituitary gland checked? He's a man and he hasn't been getting any, his hormones should drive be telling him to GET LAID!

Who's that comatose man Jandi was reading to? I bet he's Junpyo's DEAD daddy! Wow! Spawn of Satan, you have really outdone yourself!

Killer line came from grandma: "Just because one is born a man, it doesn't mean everyone is a real man. Because losing is regrettable, because backing off is unfair, because running away is embarrassing, and because you've accumulated time after overcoming your weak self. Through these trials, that's how you become a real man." Junpyo, I know you're not dumb as you make it out to be, grandma just told you to grow some balls and fight for the woman you love. I bet when your daddy and spawn of Satan were creating you, daddy only gave you the Y chromosome and forgot to give you balls. Jandi has more balls than you.

Jandi, I applaud you for going like that against the spawn of Satan. You got your moxie back, Yipppeeee! I was quite disappointed that you didn't give her your famous spinning kick. The look on the spawn of Satan's face when Jandi was giving it to her...another Kodak moment!

I feel bad for Junpyo for having a mom like the spawn of Satan. If I had a mom like her, I'd commit suicide, I don't want to commit myself to a lifetime of misery!

Another crapstatic episode. I miss the earlier episodes of this drama, they were very well written and wonderfully-executed! Watching this drama is like enjoying fine dining in a French restaurant and going home with a diarrhea!

Annoying pop-up objects at her own wedding (THANK YOU! But I still don't like you), the F3 and Ga Eul concur while Junpyo looked like he'd rather be somewhere else.I would like to take a picture of the spawn of Satan while Junpyo was walking the aisle and put it in a frame and take another picture when annoying pop-up dropped the bomb, frame it and put it next to the picture of her while Junpyo was walking the aisle, then we can play "SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!"

The show's about to finish, yet Yijung's still not done with his angst. Come on, Mr. Producer! We get it, Kim Bum is sooooooo good with dramatic scenes, now, can we move on? If we take all of Yijung's angsty scenes from this drama, we can make a new drama.

The scriptwriter's probably inlove with Jandi and Jihoo's lovestory, they have more scenes together than Junpyo and Jandi. Can we wrap up the whole Jihoo-Jandi thing now? It's tiring jumping from one ship to another!

Mr. Producer! I don't know what you have against romantic scenes, but LIP PRESSING ISN'T KISSING! Look that up in Guide to Romance handbook, you wouldn't miss it 'coz it's on the first page, in BIG, BOLD LETTERS!

Bravo! Annoying pop-up for getting dumb and dumber back together and setting up a romantic night for the two of them. I would like you if you'll stay in New York and NEVER POP-UP EVER AGAIN!

I so love Jihoo's grandpa right now, I might want him to end up with Jandi. Strangely, Jihoo isn't the only one with superhearing powers, looked like grandpa has that power too. It really runs in the blood. When grandpa stepped in to Jandi and the spawn of Satan's confrontation, he implied that he wants Jandi to end up with Jihoo. Boy, you should've seen the smile on the spawn of Satan's face. That smile could the war, hunger and may even be the answer to poverty!

We object! Woobin, what happened to your outfit? You should fire your stylist for putting you through that monstrosity!

Running late to your wedding, Goo Junpyo or running off to Jandi?

The couple's first dance...as...a couple!

Goo Junpyo: "Jandi-ah! Are you going to be mad if I tell my friends, we did it on that huge bed last night?"
Geum Jandi: "Mad? Hell, no! I even had somebody take pictures to send to your dearest mother!"
Plenty of bromance, but not enough girl-on-girl!
Jihoo: "Wow Jandi! Your legs are like Edward Cullen's body. They dazzle in daylight."

This is Jandi's room? Are they planning to have Jandi sleep on the floor? Where's the freakin' bed?Jihoo isn't just a mushroom, a firefighter,or a musician. He's also a beautician!
Jandi was so elated at Jihoo's revelation, she fainted...AGAIN!
Yes, Woobin! You're skin is such a mess, I can see the blackheads!

I'm beyond furious! Sooooo beyond furious, I'm afraid I'll turn into a monster that'll put the spawn of Satan into shame. Mr. Producer must've loved Jaekyung's character so much, he decided to prolong her stay. I wish I could slap a fine on annoying pop-up for overstaying in BBF.

The fiance in MG wasn't a bitch, unlike here in BBF. I admit annoying pop-up had her cool moments prior to this episode. But all those cool moments are overshadowed by her wickedness in this episode. She was such a bitch in this episode, she made the spawn of Satan looked like a cherub. It's one thing fighting for the person you love, it's a totally different world to ask your fiance's girlfriend as your bridesmaid and parade infront of her with your wedding dress on. The cheek of that bitch! I would like to give her a box of sandpaper to scrape off some of those cheek. I would like to pity her when she asked for Jandi's forgiveness, but I felt nothing for her but anger. If she really wants Jandi to forgive her, she should've called off the wedding a long time ago. Annoying pop-up's character had become so twisted, I don't know if I'll be able to find it in my heart to forgive her...EVER! She's like this food that leaves a very bad taste even after thorough brushing.

Junpyo...I wanted to feel sorry for him, coz he's stuck in this rut, but I just can't and I won't. He could easily find ways to unstuck himself from this rut. I can't seem to find Tsukasa in Junpyo. Junpyo is the worst version of Tsukasa, NO THANKS to Mr. Producer who didn't seem to have read the manga. All the love I felt for Junpyo in the previous episode vanished, just like that! The only way for Junpyo to redeem himself is to stop this wedding of the century BY HIMSELF! I don't care if he has to turn the world upside down to call the wedding off, JUST CALL OFF THE DAMN WEDDING! Asking that annoying pop-up to call off the wedding isn't doing it, so Goo Junpyo, you need to find your balls and BE A MAN!

Jandi, I like you. If I were a man, I would totally marry you. But eversince you lost your moxie, I lost interest. You need to stop your Mother Teresa act! BE A MAN and claim your man who isn't much of a man at this time. If none of you can't be man enough to fight for each other, who will? You should've taught that Junpyo a lesson. When you had that wedding photoshoot with Jihoo, you should've made copies, frame them, publish them in the Financial Times or Forbes--I don't really care what you do with them, just make sure those pictures reach Junpyo. Maybe those pictures will grow him a spine and go against the spawn of Satan!

The only beautiful part in this episode was Jihoo and Jandi's photoshoot. I kinda wished they were really getting married just to piss Junpyo. And they were just soooooo beautiful, it's hard to NOT root for them.

I don't feel like finishing this drama anymore.

Boys Before Flowers Episode 20

With Jandi homeless...AGAIN (no thanks to the spawn of Satan), she wanders aimlessly on the street. I think she was trying to reach Jihoo, but Jihoo was busy stalking his grandfather. At first, I thought Jihoo will magically appear AGAIN and will offer help AGAIN! But, thank you so much Jihoo for NOT saving Jandi this time.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jandi faints...AGAIN! With the nosebleeds and all, nobody has bothered to bring Jandi to the hospital for some labworks and blood tests? Everytime she faints, she always ends up on somebody else's bed, did her parents even worry about their child's "frequent" fainting spells? Soooo Kdrama!

Everytime I see Junhee noona, I know something good is going to happen. I don't know if she does it purposedly, but she always has a way of bringing Junpyo and Jandi back together. She puts a roof above Jandi's head after she fainted on the street. Jandi didn't want to be a freeloader, so she requested to be part of the help. Junhee noona even made Jandi's uniform--which was rather too conservative, with Jandi being Junpyo's personal maid, I hope Junhee noona used a kinkier fabric--LEATHER, anyone? Throw in a whip with that, and since Jandi's best features are her legs and skin, she should've made the hem a little bit shorter and the sleeves...well, why did she even sew sleeves? Jandi's still cute though.

The moment my interest in this drama waned, Mr. Producer redeems himself with this episode. I was so overwhelmed with episode 20, I don't think I'll be able to watch episode 21 after this. I've been so Jundi-deprived, this episode made me forget about Jihoo's secret feelings for Jandi, Yijung's angst & Woobin's cool. Mr. Producer, this is how the next episodes should be like. No more angsts, I've more than enough angst to sustain my remaining existence.

This episode could've been more perfect if they haven't squeezed in annoying pop-up. What's with one episode without annoying pop-up? She's not the lead anyway. Yet, with all the Jundi scenes, I don't even want to waste more breath complaining about her prolonged exposure.

Jandi being Junpyo's personal maid revived my almost-flat lined interest in this drama. All thanks to grandma! At first, I thought she was going to be one of Jandi's worst nightmares. But she proved me wrong. She's like this silent fan of the Jundi loveteam. Did she watch BBF before being casted? I would like to believe she clawed her way into this drama to bring us--her fellow Jundi shippers--an episode almost filled with Jundi scenes.

Funny! The only scenes I can VIVIDLY remember from this episodes are those of Junpyo and Jandi:

-Junpyo and Jandi's bickering...this one I miss the most, reminded me of the earlier and better episodes of BBF
-Junpyo asking Jandi to sit on the chair while he devours the ramyun Jandi prepared
-Jandi falling asleep on the chair, then Junpyo draped a blanket on her, and sat next to her drinking her beauty...aawwww! (READ: I'm grinning as I'm typing this)
-Junpyo bribing Jandi into going to his room to watch a horror movie (so cheesy! LOL)
-Junpyo being scared shitless of the horror movie--I bet that was only an excuse to feel up Jandi
-Junpyo gently caressing Jandi's cheeks and lips (Thank God I'm alone as I'm typing this, or else I'd be in an asylum right now)
-Junpyo carrying the sleeping Jandi to her room. I objected with this one. Why did he have to waste his energy carrying her to her room, when he has a bed big enough for both of them?
-Jandi waking Junpyo up then he suddenly pulled her towards him, causing her to fall on top of him. I even heard Junpyo moaned while he pulled Jandi towards him...or was it my dirty mind playing tricks on me? Another killer line delivered by Junpyo: "Let's stay like this for just 5 minutes. Eventhough I'm holding you like this, I still can't believe you're right in front of me." And then the stares...are they trying to melt each other with those stares? I was sitting when I was watching this, but I felt my knees turned into jelly. I was anticipating a kiss, this would've been a very good position to kiss. I bet they wanted to, but then annoying pop-up lived up to her name and ruined this scene.

I don't even want to waste anymore of my breath with the other scenes. I'll watch episode 21 tomorrow. I'm too happy with episode 20 right now, and I'm afraid the next episode will only ruin my chipper mood.

Boys Before Flowers Episode 19

I don't even know where to start ranting about this episode. First, they haven't finished the fiance arc yet. Til how long am I going to suffer? Jaekyung is like this annoying porn pop-up. You're so into the movie you're watching online, then suddenly, porn pops up on your screen. And once you close that pop-up screen, another one pops up and before you know it, there are millions of them. No choice, but restart the computer. That's how Jaekyung is, no matter how hard I try to make her go away, she still materializes. She's cute, but not next to Junpyo. I don't know about the others who already watched this episode, but Minjung looks like Minho's noona. Sorry, if that sounded cross, but she does. How old is she anyway?

This episode had moments, but not enough to dissolve my anger towards the screenwriter. Let me just list down all the things I hated about this episode.

HATES: (in no particular order)
-Jihoo angsts, Yijung angsts, Junpyo flirts with Jaekyung. Is Woobin the only decent F4? Too many angsts for one episode. Enough already! I get it, you love to angst. I bet the scriptwriter had a traumatic childhood, BBF serves as his/her documentary!

-Hyun Joong's acting. For a moment there--Jihoo's confrontation with his grandpa--I thought I was going to be floored with Hyun Joong's acting. But what's up with the constipated look under the rain? I don't even know if he was crying or laughing

-THE RAIN SCENE! That should've been Jandi and Junpyo's scene. Seriously, screenwriter, did you even read the manga? YOU JUST RUINED ONE OF THE IMPORTANT SCENES OF THE MANGA!

-Jihoo not having a change of clothes after being soaked with rainwater. You don't even have to take a class in logic to get this. What's the point of Jandi taking care of Jihoo if he'll only get pneumonia the next day? YOU CAN'T HAVE SOMEONE SLEEP WITH THEIR WET CLOTHES ON! I know how concerned you are with the board of censors, but if you are so intent on Jandi becoming a doctor, you should have her learn the basics of patient care and that is to NOT HAVE YOUR PATIENT SLEEP WITH WET CLOTHES ON!

-I've complained about this numerous times already, but let me say this again: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET RID OF THE FIANCE? In MG, the fiance arc didn't last too long. The MG fiance wasn't even that irritating, but here...hay, I'm sounding like a broken record already. But you know the gist!

-In the earlier scene of the episode, we have Ga Eul give Yijung a shower. During Jandi's house warming, they were lovey-dovey. Yijung had tremendous manners, but now that he's angsty and short-tempered, I don't think he'll be that lovey-dovey with Ga Eul after what she did to him. Study your logic, you dumb-dumb!

Although, I was furious to no end with this episode. There were some scenes worth noting

LOVES:
-Jihoo grabbing Jandi's hand. Now, I know how to two-time. Although I'm still hoping for a Junpyo-Jandi ending, these Jihoo-Jandi scenes make it hard to stay on one ship. I'm getting seasick already.

-The Junpyo-Jandi rooftop scene. Junpyo sounding like a nagging wife after Jandi spent the night at Jihoo playing his wife. If he only knew where she was. LOL!

-Ga Eul giving Yijung a shower! I usually skip their scenes, but this one isn't something I should miss. It's like Makino was reincarnated in Ga Eul's body.

-The truth game. Loved all the lines there. When Yijung asked Jihoo if he could love again after Seo Hyun, then Jihoo's look fell on Jandi. When Jihoo asked Junpyo, "If the person you love is suffering because of you, would you be able to let her go?" to which Junpyo replied, "No. I won't send her away. I can't send her away. I'll make sure, we're tightly tangled up. And definitely make her happy." Then Junpyo asks Jandi if the promise she made to him in the expressway still holds true. This is where the real heartbreaker is--Jandi's reply: "No. That person who made that promise and even that person who heard it no longer exist." MAJOR OUCH! Like a knife in the heart, first aid for Junpyo's heart please!

-WOOBIN! When everyone else is caught up with their angsts, trust Woobin to provide comic relief. When Jandi asked him if F3 were girls, who would he marry? He replied, "There isn't one! (with conviction!) We have self-centeredness, fourth dimension, hot & cold cassanova...spend the rest of my life with them? Send me to a monastery instead!" I love him! I love how he can keep his sanity while around the dysfunctional F3. I don't have a clue what a fourth dimension is though.

-The Jihoo-Yijung bromance! I bet Woobin was seething with anger.

-Hyun Joong's butt in the rain scene. hehehe. He has apple bottoms. Let me indulge with some little vanity.

Jeez! Spawn of satan returns! If she doesn't look that old, I would like to think she's pregnant and she's so taken with Jandi. That's menopause talking and bitching! How come she always have free time to torture Jandi? I thought she has a company to take care of and monies to count? If I were Junpyo, since spawn of satan has never been a mother figure--more of a figure, than a mother--since I am the heir of Shinhwa, I would pay some doctor to fake the spawn of satan's medical records and make it look like she had gone nuts and I will admit her to a nuthouse. Problem solved!

With the disappointment piling up, I'm not really that excited to watch episode 20.

Boys Before Flowers Episode 18

Junpyo angsts. Jihoo angsts. Yijung angsts. I was hoping Woobin wouldn't go that path, we need a normal and functioning F4. But, alas! Woobin angsts in this episode too. He wasn't just angsty, he was suicidal too. Since Woobin has no lady love, Yijung takes care of his angsty and suicidal friend. If Junpyo and Jihoo had a little bromance in the previous episode, Yijung and Woobin gets one too in this episode. Although their bromance have been present before, it is more apparent in this episode. When Yijung gets into a brawl from drinking too much (angst!), Woobin appears to his rescue and gives the near-unconscious Yijung a piggyback ride. No other bromance can top that! K drama doesn't just have a fixation on angst, it's also obligatory to have a piggyback scene. You're not a Kdrama if you don't have a piggyback scene. I want my old Woobin back--funny, normal and rapping!

I disliked this episode so much, I had to skip a lot of parts. The writers of this show need their mojo back! The writing was just all over the place. Or maybe they're so in love with Jihoo's character, Junpyo had been relegated to second lead. Although I also like Jandi to end up with Jihoo, it's just not right. Jandi was intended to end up with Junpyo, find someone else for Jihoo. Or better yet, since the writing of this drama had been so twisted lately, you can create a twin for Jandi. Since cloning isn't an option, it can be, but let's not go there--BBF isn't science fiction. With this episode, the writers seem to be aiming for a Jihoo-Jandi ending. It's hard to find a reason for Jandi to NOT end up with Jihoo. What that monk said to Jihoo further strengthen my belief that this is going to be a Jihoo-Jandi ending. "Take care of that girl. That girl is someone who will give you a family." I bet that monk is in a conspiracy with those friggin writers! The Jundi scenes are not enough to appease my disappointment with this drama. This is like MG2 all over again. I would also like to know how long are they going to drag the fiance arc? I applauded this drama for its wit, humor, and pace. Now, this drama is too angsty for my own taste and draggy!

And don't get me started with Jaekyung! I'm so pissed with her and this episode, I might fill this entry with expletives. So, let me just say I just have about more than enough of her already! I want to make her disappear! Maybe a truckload of bananas will do with a novena!

Writing, bad! Acting, mediocre! Overall, episode 18 was prosaic! The bad writing also sucked out all the bad ass from Jandi. Jandi's supposed to be someone who doesn't give up. Now, all we get is a weepy Jandi, a Jandi who constantly need looking over! The only good thing in this episode is the soundtrack! But not even that can make me appreciate this episode, not even Junpyo squealing like a girl upon seeing a roach!

1 minute and 3 seconds! That's how long Jihoo kissed Jandi's hand. That's not even a kiss, that's like making love with Jandi's hand. It's like Jihoo knew Junpyo was coming over, so he lingered a little bit longer so Junpyo can have a good look at him staking his claim on Jandi...and IT WORKED! Yehey!

Uh-oh! Jandi faints again and again with the nosebleed! It's silly how Jandi works for Grandpa's clinic but never faints there. If she faints there, Grandpa could've checked what's wrong with her. Coz you know, with the fainting and nosebleeds, that could be cancer of the cornea. Next time, Jandi's vision blurs!

This episode further wavered my weakened stand on Junpyo and Jandi. Jandi and Jihoo look deliciously good for each other in this episode. It's now a case of Junpyo-Jandi vs. Jihoo-Jandi. If this case goes all the way to the supreme court. The lawyer for Junpyo-Jandi will have a hard time stating his claim. Jihoo and Jandi have spent more time with each other and Jihoo was always attentive with Jandi. This episode alone is enough to hand Jandi over to Jihoo: 1. Jihoo rescuing Jandi after she fainted & calling a house doctor to check up on her; 2. Jihoo pulling Jandi towards him after Junpyo kissed Jaekyung; 3. Jihoo taking Jandi on a date; 4. Jihoo fixing Jandi's dinner. Objections?

Oooohhh wait! Junpyo saves Jandi from drowning. Junpyo learning how to swim for Jandi, sweet! Especially when he said he'd rather drown himself than see another man save Jandi. Aaawwww! Another killer line! I rest my case! It's funny how I'm easily pushed back onto the Junpyo-Jandi ship again, with just that one scene! lol!

Junpyo vs. Jihoo over Jandi. Junpyo and Jihoo both take this round. Jihoo and Junpyo both did a very great job saving Jandi from life-threatening situations. But a little more credit for Junpyo. Junpyo willing to drown than have another man save his woman! How can anyone beat that?

Junpyo and Jihoo cooking together? Oooohhhh! Nothing's wrong with a little bromance, look at Woobin and Yijung. Although Yijung has Ga Eul, Yijung still has time to do hokey pokey with Woobin.

I officially hate Jaekyung now! Woman, how can a well-brought up kid like you be so dense? Did you see how Junpyo tries so hard to ignore you? Don't you get it or maybe I should lent you Greg Behrendt's and Liz Tuccillo's He's Just not that into You? If a guy doesn't look happy everytime he sees you, that means HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU! If a guy kisses you then deserts you, that means HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU! If a guy looks miserable next to you, that means HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU! You've seen how Junpyo looked at Jandi in this episode, I hope you keep your claws from Junpyo. Hey monkey! Stay away from Junpyo and just go back to the jungle where you should really be.

Skipped Yijung's lines. I already have issues with Jandi's, Junpyo's and Jihoo's angsts, no need to add to the long list, but you were good with the angsty scenes though! You should have your own drama where all they talk about is your angst.

No Woobin in this episode, so sad!

Surprisingly, I wasn't annoyed with Jaekyung in this episode. I don't really mind her, but as soon as she started clinging onto Junpyo, I want to scratch her eyes out.

Loved Woobin scenes in this episode as much as I loved the Jundi scenes. Come on, Mr. Producer give this guy some more love. He deserves it! Wasn't he adorable when he winked at Jaekyung? Also when he was dancing to T-Max's "Almost Paradise"? I want him to have his own love story, maybe after Junpyo dumps Jaekyung's sorry ass, he can go out with Jaekyung. They're both bad ass anyway and they have chemistry, why not chocnut?

I was ready to leave the Jundi ship last episode and sail on the Jihoo-Jandi ship, but this episode gave me another reason to jump on the Jundi ship once and again. I'm so easy! With only a few Jundi scenes, I'm back on the Jundi ship! It takes so little to make me happy! I think I was deprived of Jundi scenes that once I see them together, I squeal like a little girl at the American Girl store.

Another episode where I didn't skip the Ga Eul-Yijung scenes, maybe because they were essential to the Junpyo-Jandi scenes. I especially liked that scene where Yijung and Woobin were convincing Ga Eul to join their scheme to bring "dumb and dumber" back together. Hehehe.

Then the scheme begins! Who would've thought Junpyo could be jealous of Woobin? When Woobin was showing Yijung's five-second kill to Jandi, Junpyo's face was all scrunched up. Lol! I love you Woobin! If they don't give you a love interest, I'm available and we can rap together! I get so giddy everytime Junpyo gets jealous, especially when Jandi and Jihoo are concerned. When Jaekyung blurted out that Jihoo is the guy Jandi likes, Junpyo's face--I'm so mean, but it showed the face of someone ready to pounce on anybody--ANYBODY--just so he can release all his anger stirred by that monkey girl. Hehe. Although Jihoo is his friend, Jihoo is also his biggest competitor when it comes to Jandi's heart. Realization hit him when he texted Jihoo to come and help Jandi after that spawn of satan ruined his evening with Jandi. As soon as he sent that message, his rage consumed him and that poor cellphone got the brunt of his rage.

Whenever Junpyo and Jandi are together in a scene, I forget about Jihoo. Especially the ice skating rink scenes, when Jandi tried to conceal herself from Ga Eul by leaning on Junpyo, Junpyo was caught off-guard and just put his arms around her. THE LOOK! He looked like he wanted the world to stop and freeze that moment! AWwwww! And the coat scene! I'm afraid words would only fail me when I describe that scene, so let's leave it at that.

Junpyo and Jandi in a candlelight dinner, why the somber faces? When Junpyo asked Jandi if it's alright with her if he gets married, I was holding my breath. I was anticipating Jandi's answer. I was expecting her to answer along the lines of: "NO! I don't want you to marry that monkey girl! Marry me instead! Marry me!" But NO! She chose not to answer and went onto a different topic!

I didn't want to talk about Jaekyung, but the more I avoid the situation, the nearer the inevitable. So, might as well deal with it now. When she said she doesn't have friends, I wanted to scream at her: "How can anyone be friends with you? You're manipulative and dense!" And the gall of that woman to ask Jandi to be her dating coach! Didn't she see the look on Jandi's face when Jandi was describing Junpyo? Anyone with a working brain would get that JANDI AND JUNPYO HAVE HISTORY---TOGETHER! Monkey girl, I don't know if you're dense or simply stupid! And I don't like how you invite yourself at Jandi's house without prior notification. That's why you have no friends! You just do what you wish to do and don't consider other people's feelings!

I don't know what to expect for next episodes, I just wish there are more Jundi scenes and less of Jaekyung!

Another Kleenex moment, another great episode!

Before I start raving how good this episode was, let me just swoon over Jihoo's new hair! ABSOFUCKINLUTELY LOVE IT! Ok, I'm done now!

It's hard to stay still on the Jundi ship when Jihoo and Jandi look so effin' good together. To console myself, Jihoo and Jandi's chemistry isn't as strong as the Jundi chemistry. But with everything Jihoo has done for Jandi, it's hard to NOT root for Jihoo and Jandi. The more I see them together, the more I'm convinced they look like each other--especially their smiles. Both Hyun-joong and Hyesun have to-die-for smiles. Is it just me, or did Hyun-joong lose weight? His cheeks look sunken, as if the dementors devoured his soul. OWell, the price of fame!

So, the high-heeled shoes really served their purpose. Jandi, the commoner/tomboy, donned high-heeled shoes so that she can break a heel and have Jihoo carry her on his back while Junpyo is watching from afar. I thought we already had a dose of the obligatory piggyback scene? It looked like, Mr. Producer felt the need to have Jihoo and Jandi to have their own piggyback scene. I swear, each Kdrama I've seen so far, each one of those has a piggyback scene or a character who plays the piano. Is it mandatory to have a piggyback scene, a character who plays the piano, bike-riding, and the nose-bleeding in each Kdrama? Not to mention the ever-present love triangle!

So, Ming turned out to be a fruitcake after all. No pun intended to all members of the third sex--I love them, BTW! But I didn't find Ming's character useful enough to be included in this drama. I just didn't get why he had to be in this drama. I didn't really enjoy his short stint, I was more of confused and didn't really care for it.

Finally, Jihoo mans up and goes against Junpyo. Yeah! It's about time, Jihoo! Coz I'm so tired of feeling sorry for you everytime you pine for your bestfriend's girlfriend. Hyun-joong was good in the airport scene BTW, but against Minho? Sorry Hyun-joong, but Minho wins this scene hands down. That breakdown scene was one of the highlights of this episode, along with Jandi's breakdown scene. I'm glad Junhee noona is back. It is such a puzzle to me how Junhee and Junpyo can be Monster mom's kids, they have their mean streaks sometimes, but Monster mom is like the spawn of satan, it's hard to believe she didn't crank out kids with horns and tail.

Monster mom did it again! Gosh! I hate her soooooo much in this episode. The gall of this awful creature! Inviting Jandi to embarass her infront of so many peeps! I want to grab her by the throat and just choke her til her eyes pop out and she gets an aneurysm. I don't even know if Monster mom even knows how to be a mother. She does parenthood like business. On her son's birthday, she talked about Shinhwa this, Shinhwa that. Why don't she just marry this fuckin' Shinhwa coz she's so awed by it. And oh! What a nice birthday gift to give your son--A FIANCEE HE NEVER MET! Did she really expect Junpyo to jump up and down with glee over her gift? "OMG Mom! A fiance! This is the bestest birthday ever! And you could've not thought of a better gift! You're the best mom ever!" MY ASS!

In MG, when Sancai was asked to play the piano. She just banged on it. I expected the same thing in this version. Seriously, my heart momentarily stopped when the spawn of satan asked her to play the piano. But I rejoiced when she flawlessly sang and played the piano! It was like telling the spawn of satan, "Up Yours!" Bravo Jandi! Hyesun really has a nice voice, is she a singer too? I love this version!

Jaekyung already introduced as the fiance. I liked her in Macau, until she played hokey pokey with Junpyo in that boutique. Hate her now. And jeez, her voice is annoying. It's like hearing a thousand bees buzz in your ear. Want Jaekyung out RIGHT AWAY!

I never really cared for Yijung and Ga Eul, but they look good together. Suprisingly, I didn't skip their scenes. I skipped the Jaekyung scenes already, might as well watch the Yijung-Ga Eul scenes.

So, Junpyo has Jandi--or whatever's left of her, Jihoo has Jandi--or a part of her, Yijung has Ga Eul. Woobin has who? I don't get how Woobin doesn't get much love in this drama. He may not be as good looking and famous as the other 3 boys, but dude, it's really harsh to treat him like he's not one of the F4. Give him anybody, except for the mean girls!

This episode had way too many Jihoo-Jandi scenes, more than enough to sway my faith for Jundi. I hope I get Jundi scenes next episode. Before I leave the Jihoo-Jandi ship (yet again!), can I just say the rooftop scene was cute? When Jihoo asked Jandi, "Did something good happen?" I wanted Jandi to answer, "Yes! You happened!" Ugh! Cheese!

First part was a snoozefest, until the tone deaf Jaekyung started to sing--or recite. Hold on! Let me wipe off the blood from my ears. Woobin, again, provides the comic relief in this episode. "What kind of disgrace is that to our country?" Just like Woobin, if I were any country, I'd deny entrance for Jaekyung. I'm really glad, Woobin has lines other than "yo, yo, yo." He doesn't have enough lines and enough appearances in this drama, but when he does, he delivers. From dissing Jaekyung's reciting and how he protested when Jandi called Jaekyung her savior. Cute!

Junpyo finally meets his future in-laws, did you see how pleased Mommy monster looked? She might just have to stop injecting botox, coz she has a different glow about her and her eyes have a different sparkle too. Must be because of Junpyo finally morphing into Mommy monster's mini-me.

The F3 gets so much love from me in this episode, I'm afraid I'll have to jump ship from Jundi to F3-Jandi. How can anyone resist Woobin, with his gangsta loving'? "Come on guys!"

Junpyo being fed with photos of Jandi and F3. I want to know who that person is so I can ask for his/her number, maybe s/he can cc me in those picture messages. What's wrong, Junpyo? Didn't like the food? Or did that little green monster reared its ugly head again? Go on, turn green with envy until you look like Shrek!

Killer lines:

Jandi: "The times we spent together, it seems like such a long time ago. If Goo Junpyo acts like he doesn't know me, I'll wonder if it really was just a dream I had."
Jihoo: "It's not a dream. If it was a dream, it wouldn't be that hard...that's why it's not a dream, because right now, you're in front of me."

Hyesun delivers another beautiful performance and Hyunjoong's acting was decent, Hyesun's skills must've rubbed off on him. Did Jihoo unknowingly confess his feelings to Jandi? Coz it seemed like that's what happened, it must've taken him a lot of self-control not to blurt out more, but said good night instead.

Human alarm clock! Genius and ANNOYING! If my mom hires somebody to blow that friggin' horn to wake me up each morning, I can commit murder.

Ooooohhhh! Yijung looked so excited to see Junpyo and to let him know Jandi came too. I like that boy, too bad I just don't dig his story with Ga Eul. Whooopps! Yijung looked mightily pissed when Junpyo appeared like he doesn't care about Jandi anymore.

Now, it's F3 vs. Junpyo. F3 on Jandi's side! Exciting! Who's going to trade punches first? I bet it's going to be Jihoo. He cares more for Jandi than Woobin and Yijung. Or it could be Woobin too, coz he considers himself as Jandi's savior. Or maybe Yijung, coz he looks like he's about to pounce on Junpyo.

Oh my! It's YIJUNG! Now, that's a shocker! I thought it'd be Jihoo. Yeah, Yijung give it to Junpyo. Give him what he truly deserves!

Then, Junpyo delivers that killer line: "700,00. Try having a number like that on your shoulders." Now, it's Jandi vs. the 700,000 Shinhwa employees. Before, Jandi only had to go against one person--Monster mom. Now, she has to go against Monster mom and the 700,000 Shinhwa employees. How is she going to compete with that?

After unsuccessfully urging Junpyo to come out and play, the delicious F3 seek for Jandi instead--to play HIDE & SEEK with those masks on. I don't get what those masks were for. I wish they hadn't worn those masks, especially Jandi. Though, I head Jandi sobbing, I wanted to see the emotions playing on her face upon seeing Junpyo on that screen. Instead, they gave us the hug from the back.

Jihoo, why are you being so sweet? With all the hate I feel towards Junpyo right now, it's tempting not to root for you.

Finally, the Junpyo-Jandi face off. I want fireworks, confetti and noise. Instead, I got a BOMB!

"A stain I want to erase." A stain? That's even worse than calling her weed. Junpyo, if Mommy monster is looking at you now, she'll throw a party and maybe even spend Christmas with you.

Jandi's breakdown seen on that gondolla. Beautiful! I've ranted how she was overacting in the previous episodes. But Hyesun redeemed herself, she has morphed into an actress worthy of a Baeksang! I didn't know she can crank out such caliber of acting, I'm truly amazed. And she's growing on me, too. At first, I found her a tad plain, but now, I find her face unique and attractive, especially in this episode. She doesn't have that generic Korean face, she's different--in a very good way. Finally! A pretty face who can actually act! Thank you Goo Hyesun!

Junpyo, I thought you had become a real monster. But going like that against Mommy monster, I thought I totally abandoned the Jundi ship, but here I am again, back on the Jundi ship!

That Junpyo and Jaekyung scene, not interested. I'll pass!

Uh-oh! Jihoo and Jandi together. BEAUTIFUL together. Jandi, must you have such chemistry with Jihoo too? Right now, I'm vacillating--from Jundi to Jihoo-Jandi then back to Jundi, then back to Jihoo-Jandi again. It's just like spying for the CIA and working with KGB! Ugh! I hate this!

Ming, is he a fruit? If that's the case, Jandi has competition. But I don't see Jihoo swaying on the other side. This is Jandi's game to lose!

Papa Goo is dead already? How can anyone who never existed in the first place, be dead? So, Junpyo's taking over Shinhwa group already?

Woooahh! Wooahh! (ala Woobin) Half a year passed already? I haven't missed any hidden episodes, have I? Half a year passed & no word from Junpyo to Jandi? I thought when you ask someone to "be still, don't go anywhere, wait for me" you'll exchange letters, calls, text messages and whatnot, you know, for assurance. But half a year of no letters, no text messages and no calls, how are you supposed to know if they're keeping their end of the bargain?

That former president sure is weird. Why would someone like him, with his status & money bother coming to the porridge house and order something the porridge house doesn't offer? He probably gets a kick out of terrorizing those poor peeps. After heartily enjoying the meal, he tells the peeps how awful the meal was! Amazing! He likens Jandi to a lotus flower?! Is that a good thing? I'll have that rather than Monster Mommy calling Jandi a weed. So, master served in the former president's kitchen? Awesome!

Aaawww Jihoo is so sweet, getting a job for Jandi's parents. Mama Geum infatuated with Jihoo. The stunned look on her face when she saw Jihoo, priceless!

I literally bawled when Jandi was being filmed for her message to Junpyo. The message wasn't the generic message of "I love you, I can't live without you" It was subtle, real and sweet all at the same time--when she thinks about him, she thinks of the times they fought and argued together, but it still made her smile. Huhuhu!

The former president, the terror master is Jihoo's grandfather? Now, why aren't they talking? Oooohhhh, the plot thickens!

The one thing Jandi can do and can do better than others--SWIMMING--now, taken from her. No Junpyo, no swimming! That's totally screwed! What is she going to do now? Jihoo and Jandi's scene in the pool was heartbreaking. Hye Sun delivers another beautiful acting.

Lol @ the BBF-like show the Geum family was watching! The BBF should sue, how can another show like theirs be airing when they're still airing?

Aaawwww! F3 helping Jandi and Ga Eul and all the girls flocked to buy the merchandise. I don't they were there to buy the merchandise, they were probably there to ogle at the eye candies. Hence, the mostly female customers.

Ayyy these waterworks! How can anyone choke back their tears while Jandi was swimming her last? I wonder how she hurt her shoulder.

Jandi followed Junpyo in Macau? And for a poor girl like her, she sure does have pretty shoes. I can't fathom how anyone with shoes like those can walk around all day.

Jaekyung! Jaekyung! Jaekyung! The name I have to remember and will learn to loathe. She was cool though, I'll give her that.

OMG! Junpyo ignored Jandi! You bastard! How could you tell her you love her and she should wait for you and when she finally comes to you, you ignore her? What a total ass!

Jandi going to be harrassed again? And the name she calls out for is GOO JUN PYO! I admire your loyalty girl, but after ignoring you like that, I would've dialed 911. And then...

ALLLLMOOST PAAARAAAADISE!

The music editor in this drama must be a masochist. How can you put a song like that when these people are exchanges punches with each other? Idiot! 2 digit IQ!

I love Woobin, he's so cool and he delivers the funny in this rather gloomy episode. I so love the F3 with Jandi, I want to have friends like them--gorgeous, rich and fun! But I don't know if I'll be able to stay friends with them.

Jandi, you redeemed yourself in this episode. I thought you don't feel the same towards Junpyo, but why, why, in your moment of near death do you keep on asking Ha Je about JUNPYO? Should you be asking, "Why are you doing this to ME?", "What did I ever do to you?" You were more concerned about Junpyo. Same with Junpyo First thing he asked was, "Jandi, you're alright? Nothing happened?" Haaaayyyyy, young love!

NNNNOOOOOOO!!!!! I feel like I'm the one getting the kicks & the punches Junpyo received from those freakin' low-lives. And poor Jandi, she wanted to do something, but she can't. Hye Sun is magnificent in this scene, worthy of a Baeksang! Her acting's not over the top, it's just what the scene asks for.

WTF?! Who plays ALLLLMOOOOSSTTT PAAARAAADDDIIISSEEE in the background while people are exchanging kicks and punches? Someone needs to get their ass fired NOW!

Did Woobin single-handedly beat those bad guys? Coz it looked like he did...HAAWWWTNESS!

Junpyo to Jandi: "Rather than them touching even a single finger of yours, it's way better if I get my entire ribs broken." That line totally killed me. What were Jandi and Junpyo doing that Jihoo decided to just leave the flowers outside? Hmmmm....

Had to skip the Mama Geum vs Monster Mommy face-off. Let them tear each other's botoxed faces out while I get my fill of Junpyo and Jandi.

Jandi, you may be daft but you're not stupid after all. You got guts going against Monster Mommy like that and for that you deserve R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!

Jihoo drowned the pancakes with lots of syrup, lol!

While Jihoo showers Jandi with sweets (syrup?), Junpyo puts her on a leash (a collar) and Woobin and Yijung were teasing him about it. So cute! Junpyo and Jihoo scheming together so Junpyo can have Jandi to himself to give the leash? Jihoo, you're a saint and a masochist! And for that you also deserve some R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!!!

Junpyo to Jandi: "Geum Jandi is a moon that can never get away from the star called Goo Junpyo." Junpyo, your lines are spontaneous but well-thought and so saccharine, they're enough to give me diabetes! Aiish! Why do you have to sneeze at the wrong moment?!

I'm aware that Yijung is going to be with Ga Eul, but why was he touchy-feely with Woobin? Are these two harboring any feeling for each other? Eversince, I've been so suspicious with these two. They're always together, they finish each other's sentences, and now they're touchy-feely with each other. I'm not a guy, but if I were one, I wouldn't be doing that to my guy friend--especially not in public. And did you see Ga Eul's look? She was totally jealous! She was sooooo close to yanking Woobin's hand off her man. And she stalks the guys--I'd like to know what she was thinking!

OH MY GOD! Ginger, you ugly bitch, will you just please go away! If Woobin's trademark line is "yo, yo, yo!" Ginger has "Oh my God!". These two could actually make a very good couple and maybe they can do a rap song together.

Mommy monster looks miserable after that phonecall! And she's looking for Junpyo! Hey Mommy Monster if you ruin this vacation for Junpyo and Jandi, I will make it impossible for you to live anywhere in Korea!

Too many people torturing Jandi and Junpyo. First, there's Mommy monster. Then, there's the 3 little green monsters! Mr. Producer, why can't you give me a full episode of Junpyo-Jandi moments? Is that so hard to yank out of your creative factory?

No wonder Junpyo was violent! Everytime Mommy monster doesn't get what she wants from Junpyo, she has her henchmean beat him up. What a way to be nominated for Best Mom award! And while Junpyo is being beat up by Mommy monster's men, Woobin and Yijung play cards and exchange sweet glances with each other while Jihoo plays the guitar. The innuendos in this show--they pour like it's raining cats and dogs!

The obligatory piggyback ride! A must in every Kdrama, but here it's a must. It's not like they just threw a piggyback ride for fun or for good measure, Junpyo can't drag Jandi through the snow.

You know Junpyo, aside from taking her wet shirt off, there's another way to warm her up. But it's too mature for young audiences!

Cute lunchbox and the food look delicious too! Now I'm hungry!

The devastation...the lunchbox. This drama vacillitates a lot and so fast, it's not funny. One minute, you're overwhelmed with this joy from seeing this OTP acting sweetly with each other and then throws devastation right after and you haven't finished basking in the sweetness yet!

Junpyo to Jandi: "I'll be back soon. Don't move an inch and wait for me. I LOVE YOU!"

I died and went to Jundi heaven where all the Jundi sweet moments happen every second I had to ask to be resurrected.

Best episode of yet! Minho and Hyesun really shone in this episode. Minho has the best lines, but Hyesun had the best moments. A pretty face who can actually act, you don't see a lot of those in Korea. You can get somebody who can act with so-so face and a face too gorgeous to be human, but never both. Thank God for Hyesun!

I have to hit the sack, I've reached my maximum for daily consumption of cheese and sweets!

But not as cute as Jihoo and sans the motorcycle too. Super mushroom 2=supermodel? The boys in this drama, if they're not born wealthy and good-looking, they're models. What happened to the male commoners? Monster mom needs a male commoner to show her some REAL lovin', maybe she'll not be as uptight as her botoxed face.

I know how my stomach growls when it complains of being starved, but it doesn't growl as loud as Jandi's stomach does--they sound like that ghost from The Grudge. Super mushroom 2/Supermodel is a commoner? Now, that's something new! **yawns!**

Ayyy Jandi! If your boyfriend asks you to choose between him and your bestfriend, you SHOULD shamelessly choose the boyfriend! Besides Ga Eul would understand if you break the tradition ONCE! Can't really understand you Geum Jandi!

Okay...Yijung-Ga Eul parts...*yawns*...*skips them over*

LMAO! Ha Je enters the room with the "makeover" and asks Jandi, "How do I look?" Instead of swooning, Jandi looked sick and ready to throw up Ha Je's ramyun. Still not getting how Ha Je became a model, he looks...well, let me just say, there's nothing special about him.

Super mushroom 2/supermodel=bastard! How dare you call Jandi your girlfriend? She actually has a boyfriend, by the name of Gu Junpyo, heir to Shinhwa group and if he finds out you're messing with HIS GIRLFRIEND, you should start looking for a place outside of Korea!

The photoshoot scene actually looked decent, but the guy looked totally plain next to Hye Sun and he's supposed to be the supermodel in this drama.

Junpyo must really hate his house. If he's not sleeping at Jandi's, he sleeps at Jihoo's. And how cute was Junpyo complaining at Jihoo about Jandi having too many jobs? Junpyo, in case you've forgotten, you're dating a commoner, some people have to work, unlike you.

Super mushroom 1 meets super mushroom 2! You go Jihoo! Guilt-tripping Jandi for ditching Junpyo...and infront of super mushroom 2!

I love it when Junpyo's in a jealous rage, it's obvious how much he loves Jandi. Yeba! And wait! Is that Hyun Joong actually acting? He doesn't have the usual deadpan expression, he actually showed emotion! Another yeba!

Ooooohhh! You did not just say that to Junpyo, super mushroom 2/supermodel/bastard! You better pack your things and fly off to Mars!

Jja jang myun in a porridge shop, whoever heard of that? I also find it impossible that Jandi and Ga Eul haven't recognized their past president and an ex-president without an entourage. I don't know how it works in Korea, but I know that when former president Bill Clinton happens to stop by at our house for a glass of water, I'd recognize him and even scour for a bottle of Voss--nobody gives the former president a glass of tap water--also, Bill Clinton wouldn't be prancing around without an entourage, be it one, two or a gazillion of heavily armed, Ray Ban wearing men. Maybe it is different in Korea, but then if your former president is as hot as Lee Minho, I bet he wouldn't be prancing around town without an entourage and maybe he would just have the porridge shop deliver him his jja jang myun, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Junpyo doesn't want to share his chocolates, even with Jandi.Hehe...I love how possessive he is with Jandi. Jandi must've died for a few seconds with joy while she was watching Junpyo enjoying her gift. I thought Jandi has a phone already, why did she have to drag Junpyo in that win-a-free-cellphone contest? Nevertheless, it's still a cute scene. Now, imagine Junpyo and Jandi in the contest---NAKED! I was waiting for Junpyo and Jandi strip naked and do the contest, then comes MONSTER MOM! I actually had to cover my eyes for this which is silly because I never cover my eyes, even when I'm watching a really scary movie. Silly! Monster mom scares the shit out of me, who wouldn't be scared of monster mom? Her stares are enough to give you an aneurysm followed by death.

Had to skip the Ga Eul-Yijung scenes. There's too much conflict with Jandi and Junpyo already, I can't be bothered by another OTP. I don't do multi-OTP.

Jihoo is like this utterly gorgeous and rare mushroom, he only germinates around Jandi. A mushroom who smiles a lot--even Lei doesn't smile that often in MG, Rui's supposed to have Aspberger's syndrome, I don't know what that is, but Rui's supposed to NOT smile that often. Maybe Jihoo has the mildest form of unsmilene syndrome. I'll forgive him coz he was so cute when he had his hair in a ponytail.

Hell hath no fury like a man whose chocolates were eaten by his rival! If Junpyo had to do a Heimlich maneuver to get that piece of chocolate out of Jihoo, I bet he would.

When Junpyo stopped by at the Geums, they always have him seated on a chair and they would stare at him like he's some kind of Greek god sent to earth. But when Monster Mom stopped by, they had her sit on the floor. Where's the love, Mama Geum, Papa Geum?

OMFG! Did Monster Mom liken Jandi to a weed? Given that Junpyo calls Jandi weed too, but coming from Monster Mom? That forebodes catastrophe. An offer of gazillion won to stay away from Junpyo?! Monster mommy, you are a real piece of art! Miranda Priestly surely is proud to have raised you, look at you--you have turned into a REAL MONSTER! Mama Geum, you should've aimed for her eyes, you should've sprayed her eyes with sake, let's see if she can inflict more pain and catastrophe with sake in her eyes.

Jihoo=Geum Jandi's firefighter. More of like super mushroom. Don't you have to dial 911 first to get a firefighter? They just don't magically appear on a motorcycle. Jihoo's more like super mushroom, he appears out of nowhere on a motorcycle and throw in a heartstopping smile with that.

Jandi cleaners gone? I bet Monster Mom had something to do with, she just had to do buy herself a cleaners to get all those furs cleaned and keep themlooking like new. Her skunk is looking rather tired and the raccoon is losing its luster. How lovely! After torturing the poor animals for garments, Monster Mom had to buy herself some rice crackers from JANDI!

OOOOHHHHH! Junpyo lets go of Monster Mom's hand, I bet he was afraid the handholding might give him an aneurysm. He gets out of the car and...

ALMOOOSSTTT PAAARAAADISE!!!!!!!!!!

Junpyo walks over to Jandi grabs her and...

Wait! What happened? My view's blocked by that stupid sun. I felt cheated! Arrrrggggghhh! The sun. A couple. It would've been sweet in any given moment...but not when IT BLOCKS THE KISS! Mr. Producer, I don't know what to do with you anymore. Prudes are stoned to death in this modern times. I thought I should let you know, just in case you find yourself on the street and suddenly somebody throws a rock at you--THAT WOULD BE ME!

And while Junpyo and Jandi share a kiss I will never see in this lifetime. Monster mom looks like she will have an aneurysm herself, did you see that vein on her temple? It was about to burst. I wander how passionate that kiss was to give Monster Mom an ALMOOOSSTTT AAANEUUUURYSM!

After that kiss, I thought Junpyo would've dragged Jandi to a nearest hotel and finish the business. But NOOOO!!! They walk on the street, which is suprisingly empty, and TALK! A LOT! Why do these people like to TALK? Don't they have better things to do than TALK? Like kissing? And...ahm...kissing?

Then Jandi gets an obligatory nosebleed. I bet in the succeeding episodes, she'll faint, be brought to the hospital and tests will reveal she has cancer of the cornea (does this even exist?) and she only has a few months to live and then Junpyo will finally defy his mom, donate his corneas to Jandi & dies. Jandi will wake up with Junpyo's corneas, sees Jihoo, looks for Junpyo and Woobin will reply: "Yo! My man, Junpyo, gave you his corneas so you can live." Jandi breaks down and asks to die to be with her Junpyo. So KDrama.

Creepy---that talent agency on the sidestreet!

Boys Before Flowers Episode 9

Episode 9 is definitely LOVE! Although there were some snooze fest, the last scene compensated for it. Actually, I'm still grinning and hasn't gotten over it yet. Still hungover from that much-awaited kiss. All the wait, all the anticipation that's been building up, totally worth it! It's not Goong kiss and definitely not Full House kiss, I think the Jundi kiss is in a league of its own--it wasn't obscene and not too chaste, but sweet and memorable! Okay, I need to wipe off the grin off my face now, I look like I've gone loopy!

I can't think of anything else in this episode other than that kiss. Honestly, I was bored at the first half of this episode. But Woobin was such a delight to watch, he was so funny and cute in this episode. No "yo, yo, yo-ing" in this episode, but there was "Hey man! Woah! Woah!" Mr. Producer give this boy a spin table coz with all the "yo, yo, yo-ing", he could've made a rap song already. Seriously, give him some better lines. Isn't he some kind of mafia lord? Why is he a little bit soft? If you put him against Jandi, Jandi would win hands down. Did you see how Jandi kicked that loser's ass? That should've been one of Woobin's scenes.

Jandi blew me away with that kick! It's a relief, Mr. Producer decided to include that scene. Coz in the previous episodes, I felt Jandi lost her moxie that made Junpyo fell in love with her. It was nice to have the old Jandi back.

Not too keen on Yijung and Ga Eul, skipped that part. I'm too tied up with Jundi. They're both cute though.

I knew Jihoo has some hots for Jandi. You better give up, man! Jandi's for Junpyo only, you wanna do the chant again? I loved the line he said to Jandi on the staircase: "Guys...In front of the girl they like, there's no 'just because'" Made me think if he wasn't just speaking about Junpyo, but also speaking of himself. I now why Junpyo kicked that guy's ass, but I also know why Jihoo is acting sweetly towards Jandi--it's because he loves Jandi too, and if he can't be with the one he loves, maybe he can be there as a friend, loving her silently. Cheeseball!

Enough of the cheese! And more apples please! How adorable was that apology scene? Junpyo was sooooo cute..."Oppa! I was sho wong!" Minho is such a great actor, he can change facial expressions at the drop of the hat!

I would like to know where I can buy the kind of ice cream Jandi and Ga Eul had. Looked really delicious!

Mismatched footwear! That's how you know, it's LOVE!

That hospital scene was hilarious and sweet at the same time. More of that kind of scene please, Mr. Producer? I promise I won't diss your work (no matter how crappy) ever again, just give me more of Jundi moments!

Jihoo & Jandi going on a date infuriated me at first. Thank heavens, it only lasted for half of the episode. It was sweet how Junpyo was tailing the two. Haaayyy! Love & jealousy can really drive a man to violence.

I would really like to believe that Jihoo went through all that trouble to bring Junpyo & Jandi together, but there's something fishy about him. I'm sure he has feelings for Jandi, coz he told Seo Hyun (her portrait, to be exact) that he had to let Jandi go no matter how much he'll regret it in the end.

Jihoo, you totally redeemed yourself in this episode. Now, don't you go stealing Jandi away from Junpyo ever again, got it?

If Jandi had let Jihoo kiss her again, arrrggggh! That'll be Jihoo-4, Junpyo-0. Score is still Jihoo-3, Junpyo-0. Junpyo, you better step up!

Stupid cellphone had to ring at the wrong time! I was waiting for that kiss to happen! The moment was so right, so perfect, then goes the cellphone ring! Jandi, let me tell you this! If you're going on a date with Junpyo--I specifically said Junpyo, coz you are to date nobody but Junpyo--YOU TURN YOUR CELLPHONE OFF or have you ever heard of the SILENT MODE?

Junpyo, you really are fast! You only started dating formally, yet you already call your future inlaws, MOM and DAD? First formal date and you already asked to sleep in your future fiancee's house? Hmmmm boy, you are serious!

The Geum family is so hilarious, especially the dad and the brother. "Jandi cleaners is here!" lol! Funny how Mama Geum and Papa Geum are pimping Jandi! I totally forgot how annoyed I was with this family! hehe

Note to self: Post scaps tomorrow! Too many beautiful moments to pass on! Too tired and sleepy to copy, paste, cut, paste, crop & paste!

Quick review and rants or raves. Raves, definitely! It's almost midnight and I have to watch episode 8, or else, I wouldn't be able to sleep very well. And I have to be up really early tomorrow. Aissh! This drama is so good at messing up with my life!

I love Junhee noona. I want a noona like that too! Tough and endearing, and gorgeous too! She's like Angelina Jolie.

And how adorable was Junpyo getting beat up by his noona? First, being beat up on the street. How embarassing was that? Too bad he's too old to call 911 for child abuse, he's not a child anymore. The ear tag! His sister definitely owned him! He can act tough, but his sister is tough! Junhee dipping his head in the soup! Hahaha! Still adorable!

Jihoo, you bad child! You definitely know how to push Junpyo's buttons. Acting all lovey dovey towards Jandi to win the race? You sneaky little child. I'm starting to like you, Jihoo. But return Jandi to Junpyo first, then I'll love you!

Woobin and Yijung...these two have nothing better to do than be the voices of reason for Jihoo and Junpyo. These two are like joined at the hip, if they're not acting as guardian angels for Junpyo and Jihoo, they diss Junpyo and the poor guy is just an earshot! Ey man! I don't know if they're trying to portray Woobin as a ganglord or a rapper! Seriously, give this guy some better lines to work with!

Tough love! That's how Junpyo wants it! Instead of gently drawing Jandi to his arms, he harshly pulled her into an embrace. Poor girl must've her ligaments all torn from her arm, how can she swim the next day? That was the only scene Junpyo and Jandi had together. Bittersweet, but I'll take what I can get. As long as the next episode has more Junpyo-Jandi moments together.

WTF is wrong with the musical scoring in this episode? The OST were placed on all the wrong places, it's just like listening to a random song while driving. Mr. Producer, you better get your act together!

The door should be locked when I'm watching this drama, I should have complete privacy. This should not be made into a family affair, or else, they would think something's wrong with me up there. I can't help but grin like a Cheshire cat whenever I see those Junpyo-Jandi moments, even when they're a couple of feet apart from each other, their chemistry is too strong, they might as well be standing next to each other.

Oh Junpyo! The pained look on his face when he can't save Jandi from drowning. It's obvious how much he wanted to save her, but because of his past, he couldn't. But he more than made up for it with the dinner he tirelessly prepared. He even made an excuse that he prepared the dinner for everybody, Yijung teased him that it's probably for "a" someone special. Awww Junpyo, honing your being-a-good-husband-skills already? Jandi, if I were you, I would shackle this guy down. Heck! I'll even throw in a shotgun wedding for good measure!

Yijung and Ga Eul---cute! But not too keen on them. In my BBF world, my eyes are for Junpyo-Jandi only. Toss Woobin there too! There goes "yo" again! At least, it wasn't his only line in this episode. I don't mind Jihoo, as long as he keeps his hands off Jandi. Jandi is for Junpyo only.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Seo Hyun, you little skank! Okay! I didn't mean that! A little bit, maybe. I love Seo Hyun's character so much, it's hard to call her bad names. How dare you dump Jihoo over that ugly android? How could you pick ANY man over Jihoo? Jihoo is like the heterosexual Holy Grail--gorgeous, sexy, talented, kind, and doesn't sleep around with girls when his girlfriend isn't around.

As for you Jihoo, why didn't you fight for Seo Hyun? Are you confused with your feelings too? Remember that Jandi is for Junpyo only! Maybe you should say it with me.

And there goes the punches! And of course, Jandi sided with Jihoo! Make up your mind you silly girl, if you don't like Junpyo, TELL HIM! There's no point in dilly dallying! But Koo Hye Sun is sooooo good in dramatic scenes. She's beginning to grow on me. Also, the exaggerated facial expressions have toned down.

And you Jandi! How can you resist Junpyo's advances but let Jihoo kiss you? Aaiiish! You make me mad! Girl, the guy whisked you off to his private island, bought you a cheap anklet which is his first time doing (I guess), took you airborne and showed you his heart, prepared dinner for you and then you accept a kiss from his best friend? No wonder Junpyo was mad. If you don't like him, I'm sure there are plenty of girls willing to pick up where you left off.

Boy, Jihoo! You must've angered Junpyo for deciding to expel you and Jandi. And of course, you must play the Knight in Shining Armour so you decide to fight Junpyo! How are you going to do that? Start your own high school? You probably can, your grandfather was president, so we'll name the school after your grandfather!

Oooohhh Woobin! Not so toughie-toughie around Junpyo, ha? Unbelievable, you're like the mafia of all Korean mafias, but scared of Junpyo? You're still cute, though!

The preview looks very good! This drama is messing up my appetite and my circadian rhythm! Not to mention, my studies!

-Jandi stands up for her "friend", saying if beautiful people are allowed to have plastic surgery, the ugly ones deserve such privilege too

-Junpyo announces to the whole school that Jandi is his girlfriend...Jihoo objects
-On the rooftop, Jihoo reveals to Jandi he wanted to ask her out
-Jandi learns Junpyo bought "gifts" to his family, much to her chagrin. She asks Junpyo not to treat her like how Junpyo treated his past girlfriends
-Junpyo tells Jandi she's his first girlfriend
-Junpyo drags Jandi and Ga Eul to New Caledonia
-Jandi dreamed that she and Ga Eul went to a soothsayer who said that the man she's going to marry is with her in the island, her soulmate and husband are two different men & that she's going to lose something important
-Junpyo drags Jandi to a deserted place so they can spend some time alone
-Jandi tells Junpyo that she wished her family was there too. Junpyo tells Jandi they can come back with the family next time

Short and quick review. I'm much too tired to be writing a lengthy one, I don't even know if I made sense up there.

Finally, Jandi's expressions are more human now than the earlier episodes. She didn't have to try that hard to look & act like Makino.

I heard my heart broke in a million pieces when Junpyo carried Jandi off the school ground and carried her to his home, not because I was jealous of Jandi (maybe a little bit), it was more of an "aaaawwww! That's so sweet moment!" And finally, Junpyo believed what Jandi told him about being framed up by someone. Ay Junpyo! At first I was mad at you for not believing Jandi, livid beyond my normal capacity. But you redeemed yourself in this episode, so I love you again.

How cute was the Jandi clean-up part? If I continue watching this drama, I just might turn to a real cheeseball! When Junpyo's eyes landed on Jandi's lips, I felt he wanted to kiss her so bad. I bet he wanted to do a lot of other things than kissing, but he controlled himself and turned into The Hulk again and yelled at Jandi to finish the cleaning up herself. When he was leaning on that door, I felt what he felt...hahaha...He lightly slapped his chest as if he was telling his heart to be still! hahaha...Junpyo, you are a cheese!

I was somewhat disappointed with the Jandi-Minji face off. If someone had framed me up that way, I'd be so mad that person would never want to live in the same country with me. I expected major catfight--hair pulling, scratching, kicking & screaming. But NO! Mr. Producer had been so harsh on Jandi, why can Minji get her comeuppance? Let her have what those crummy school kids did to Jandi--egg pelting, tomato-throwing, a deluge of expletives, and maybe some punches. Instead, Minji got a couple of slaps on her face, not even enough to send her back to slutland. Jandi, you are a saint! If I were you, I would've joined those kids talking shit about Minji's plastic surgery! You're a badass and a saint!

I get these cheeseball Junpyo-Jandi moments, only to be ruined by Jihoo. Why do you have to come back and ruin all these for me? Why do you have to take the thunder from Junpyo? Why did you not stay with Seo Hyun and make beautiful babies? Why do you have to go back and confuse Jandi by asking her on a date behind Junpyo's back? Don't give me that silly, beautiful smile of yours or else...I'll stop hating you!

If my boyfriend drags me into a store and starts buying me clothes which I could never afford, I'd be delighted. But not Jandi, she looked pissed! Sometimes, your principles just astound me. I felt bad for Ga Eul though, to be played like that. Poor girl was so scared when Yijung delivered her the news about Jandi being in grave danger, only to be brought to a private airport and whisked off to New Caledonia. Did the girl bring something other than the clothes she had on? I doubt Yijung brought her to the department store to buy clothes, that'd be too weird, your friend in grave danger and your shopping?!

Did that psychic woman understand Korean? Coz she looked like she did. It was just weird for a territory of French language to understand Korean. Maybe the woman studied Korean through Rosetta Stone or Mr. Producer overlooked another important detail.

Anyway, I'll bet my bottom dollar the husband the psychic woman was talking about is going to be Junpyo and the soulmate is Jihoo. That's how it is in manga, anyway. No need to guess there.

Junpyo & Jandi finally alone together! Hopefully, Jihoo won't turn up to ruin the moment...AGAIN! Dinner on the beach! I literally died and went to heaven. Can't really say anything about that, it's hard to wrap my mind around it, I had too much cheese from this episode alone! Watch out for high cholesterol!

Just one request from Mr. Producer. I know, with such a huge production, you'll overlook a couple of things...how about hiring someone to take a second look of the finished product before airing it? Tiny details, no matter how far and few in between, can lead to a huge pile-up!

I don't know what happened with Blogger when I was away. But something has changed--evidently! Changes that totally enraged me and makes me think of switching to multiply or LJ. Blogger automatically converts my entries into html and then gives me an error which I can't even understand--forgive my tech unsavviness, doesn't work with my desired font and just screws up my entries. If this is their way of saying "Welcome Back!", I might as well find me a new home that I can work with, one that doesn't prompt errors only Bill Gates understands, gives me the font I want and shows it--Trebuchet MS, normal size, and doesn't screw up my entries. I chose Blogger because I thought it was user-friendly. But now, with all these mess, I'm so close to packing my bags & moving to another site.
Do I look like I have time to spare to figure out those html errors? Whatever free time I have right now is reserved for my BBF marathon and ranting or raving about it. I don't have time figuring out what those html bullshit are--I'm a nursing student, not an IT! Fix it, or I'll scram!
There! I'm done ranting! I need me another dose of BBF to calm my nerves.

Boys Before Flowers Episode 3

I like how this drama is paced—fast & exciting, albeit tainted with flaws. I don’t know for some people, but I don’t think you get drunk that fast with one (short) glass of heavy liquor. When Jandi and Junpyo were at the bar, Junpyo went to the bathroom after his shameless confession to Jandi, when he came back, he found Jandi inebriated. How long was he in the bathroom, anyway? It’s not that he did something that required so much attention, he just wanted to escape from Jandi and catch his breath for a second. I know it takes 3 tall glasses of Singapore Sling to get me drunk—with straw. I didn’t see a straw with that drink, Jandi must’ve really low tolerance with alcoholic beverages then. Teeny tiny detail, but must be brought to attention to avoid further mishaps.

Ranting again with the Jandi makeover. I like her look in Seo Hyun’s birthday party, but must they do the curls again with that ugly canary dress? Why do they always ahjummafy a character that’s supposed to be in her late teens, early twenties? I know Makino should be plain looking, but a little vanity wouldn’t hurt. All the boys get to be beautiful ALL THE TIME, share some of that beauty with Jandi—ever heard of hair extensions?

Jihoo is the weakest link in this drama, along with Jandi. Jihoo is the underacting to Jandi’s overacting. I see the potential in Kim Hyun Joong, especially in his scene with Han Chae Young, but he isn’t Rui—yet! They should tone down Go Hye Sun’s facial expressions, they border on overacting or ridiculous. She’s not entirely irritating coz she has some moments too. Lee Min Ho is da bomb! He’s a better Tsukasa than Jerry Yan in MG, his expressions are on the spot and his eyes can act too—anyone who can act with their eyes is a certified actor. I expect great things from Lee Min Ho (is this his first project?). Kim Joon and Kim Beum, on the other hand, have very few scenes it’s hard to tell, but no complaints here!

OMFG! Chairwoman Kang made my flesh crawl! I have not been scared of the horror movies I’ve seen so far, but Madam Kang gives me the creeps. Her stares are like laser beams that can turn you into goo in a nanosecond. Wouldn’t want to even be in the same room or country with her. No wonder Junpyo was violent, his mom probably gave/gives him a hard time—evident on how he called her “witch”.

The Geum family was cute at first, but they’re starting to get on my nerves. I know that they should be rude and lacking with manners because they’re commoners, but everyone knows that you must say “thank you” after getting a present. Poor Jandi!

Me likey the jealous Gu Junpyo, clearly shows how madly in love he is with Jandi. He ALMOST pillaged her! Liked that scene, but I liked the one in MG much better—the passion and intensity that made me believe that Dao Ming Si is totally in love with San Cai. Love can bring out the best and worst in you, MG showed both. Although it was present in BBF too, the one in MG made me fully understand the difference of both.

Loved! Loved! Loved! Loved! Junpyo’s confession to Jandi. “Looks-zero, brains-zero, background-zero. But in my book, you got full marks!” Or something like that, I was too distracted with the scene to even read the subs. I bet I’ll give myself a carpal tunnel syndrome once this drama ends from rewinding and rewinding and rewinding. What a way to pick up a girl. I don’t think I’ll appreciate it if someone used that line with me, unless he’s Lee Min Ho of course.

Looking forward to a marathon of BBF this weekend. No school and work…yehey!

Boys Before Flowers Episode 2

Jihoo just won me when he saved Jandi from those goons, but spooked me out when he started kissing Han Chae Young’s ad in the middle of the street. If I was standing next to him in a bus stop, I would totally flee if I see him start getting with it with an inanimate object, don’t you think? I thought it was funny how Jandi’s father thought radio waves from computers can really endanger their lineage

Oooohhhh that stunned look on Junpyo’s face after Jandi delivered that “spinning back kick” (as Yijeung had described it), it made me giddy. I think that's when Junpyo fell in love with Jandi. That scene totally sold me this drama. How can these two be at each other’s throats and have so much chemistry at the same time? I thought I saw sparks going ballistic…and they were not from faulty wiring. These two take chemistry to the next level.

A bee. How can the mighty Gu Junpyo be scared of a measly thing? Even I don’t scream like a banshee at the sight of it, but then, I forgive him since he looked utterly adorable!

Yah Geum Jandi! How can you not like the great Gu Junpyo? He’s good-looking, he’s tall, he’s smart & he’s rich! Not to mention, obnoxious as hell. I’ll be clinging onto him like super glue.

The mean girls are getting on my nerves. They are soooo mean, they make the mean girls from MG look like saints. Good thing they got their comeuppance.

Not feeling Jandi’s make over. I thought they’d make her look like a knock out, but she looked like an ahjumma. The curls didn’t do anything for her, I wish they had done something else—like put hair extensions or something & chop those bangs. But then maybe it’s just me, coz when Junpyo saw her, his jaw literally dropped & before he even had the time to pick it up, his ego got bruised when Jihoo approached Jandi for a dance. That jealous look on his face…another Kodak moment! I wish I had a camera!

Han Chae Young makes that green-eyed monster in me go mad, how can anyone be that beautiful? But her boobies were much bigger than last time, did she have them inflated? Nevertheless, she still looked fantastic. Her scene with Jandi was really sweet. It must’ve been really nerve-wracking for Jandi to have your idol doll you up. I want Angelina Jolie to doll me up too, hell, even Shiloh can paint my face if they fancy!

Now that Jandi knows that Seo Hyun is Jihoo’s first love, how did it feel being around her? I bet she was thinking she doesn’t stand a chance, I know I’d think that way. But if Seo Hyun has boobies, Jandi has legs I’d totally kill for—they’re flawless, no wonder Junpyo can’t peel his eyes off her. Some men do look down there instead of up there, so Jandi isn’t totally losing to Seo Hyun.

And how can I forget my beloved Woo Bin? Mr. Producer, can you please give him a different line, other than “Yo, yo, yo”? Still adorable though!

I want another dose of BBF, but I need to be in the land of nod because I had to wake up in less than 5 hours. I really need to catch up on this drama. Episode 19 was out last Monday and I’m not even halfway through.

All fun and smiles for now, I’m loving this Korean version of HYD than Taiwan’s. MG 2 ruined MG, I hope BBF doesn’t go that path. I’m trying not to visit any forums that discuss BBF, I don’t want to read spoilers. I’m having a BBF news blackout for now.

"Yo, yo, yo, wazzup man?!"

That's me emulating Woo Bin, one of the F4, from the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango. That scene really stuck with me, I'm afraid I'll come to work tomorrow morning & do a poor imitation of Woo Bin's cool "yo, yo, yo, wazzup man?!" I read so many things about Boys Before Flowers, too much hype going on around the show, so I checked it out.

First episode was so-so, not entirely memorable, but enough to get me hooked. The producer must've taken some ideas from America's Next Top Model. When the F4 made their grand entrance in Shinhwa High School, I thought Tyra Banks would stomp and start screaming, "Work it! Work it!" But boy—or boys—were they gorgeous. It should be illegal to be that utterly gorgeous, I don’t think it’s humanly possible to look that perfect. I bet those women working around those boys need to be aided with oxygen, the gorgeousness of these creatures makes it impossible to breath. This is, by far, the best looking F4 (whoever disagrees will get a red tag). Geum Jandi isn’t bad either, she’s not Song Hye Kyo gorgeous, but she’s charming and cute.

Okay! Enough with the shallowness!

The producers should tone down Geum Jandi’s facial expressions. I know, this is based on a popular manga, so she needs to be animated. But Go Hye Sun looks anime enough for her to be doing those exaggerated facial expressions. So far, aside from the exaggerated facial expressions, I like Geum Jandi better than San Cai from Meteor Garden. Jandi has that I’m-so-tough-so-don’t-you-dare-mess-with-me look, San Cai looked fragile and ready to topple with just a gust of wind. I also liked how Jandi can swim aside from being enslaved by her family. San Cai was useless in MG—not that she was totally useless, she ran errands too. And have you seen Jandi handled Lee Min Ha on that rooftop? She handled him like he’s just a piece of clothing about to be clothespinned to dry.

The mean girls…well, totally mean (RIP Jang Ja Yeon). Add one more girl and they can be the female version of F4, but that’ll be too much for Jandi. I don’t think she can handle annoyance from both sides, she might lose her mind. Not really annoyed with the mean girls…YET!

The ice cream part…hmmm…makes me want to buy me some ice cream—though I’m not an ice cream person. And how adorable Junpyo looked when Jandi smeared him with ice cream. Ice cream: $1.50 plus tax, the look on Junpyo’s face after Jandi smeared him some ice cream: TOTALLY PRICELESS! Add to that the amused faces of F3. Way to go Geum Jandi. Show them who’s the boss!

I love how these characters have been given contrasting personalities. Junpyo either looked pissed or bored in this episode. Pissed or bored, still swoon-worthy. Jihoo looked stoic and doesn’t have a care in the world, but when he smiles, suddenly, the world looks brighter. His smiles can wipe out one’s memory. Yi Jeung is cute & has that I-may-be-rich-and-spoiled-but-I-got-talent vibe (duh! He makes pottery look so seeeexxxy, makes me want to take pottery classes next semester. He totally owned Patrick Swayze from Ghost). Woo Bin—my man—is cool, funny & adorable, although I can’t seem to remember him uttering other lines than “yo, yo, yo” Jandi is noisy and brave, it’s fun to watch a Korean drama where the female lead doesn’t weep or get pushed around.
