Wordpress decisions

2012-02-04T19:59:00.001-05:00

So Im having some thouhgts about switching my blog to Wordpress only because it works a little better on my iPad. I havn't made any decisions yet about what I'll be doing-- but read my current blog over there: http://aantoszewski.wordpress.com/

Yeahhhh buddy!

2012-02-03T01:22:00.000-05:00

So I'm trying to figure out a way to post from blogger with pictures on my ipad's safari. I think it might be impossible. But I'll be working on that so you have pictures two look at and not just me rambling....

Last night I had a pretty... Crappy(?!!) night. I'm not going to go into details but lets just say its beyond frustrating to do work for other people after I've already done my own. Especially when my grade is on the line. (thank you to all the people I vented to who listened to me and gave me some advice! I appreciate it). Needless to say I was up wayyyy later than I wanted to be so I was beyond groggy for class this morning. My class didn't last the whole class time because unfortunately my professor got sick and had to be taken to the hospital. (thoughts and prayers would be appreciated for her).

Anyway, My day was rather uneventful-- I have some good news to share but not just yet-- in the meantime heres a lovely GIF for you to watch, over and over and overrrrrr

HAPPY JERSDAY!

Trying to post a little more....

2012-01-29T23:40:00.000-05:00

So we all know how fantastic I am at blogging but now that I've got the right tools I think I'll try to blog a little more. I have to admit I love reading blogs much more than I love writing blogs. I'm just not sure my life is interesting enough to continually write blogs. Also I feel like to have a decent blog you need to have some sort of theme going on... I have none.. Ill work on that. For now, you just get me rambling.. I guess thats why I named this blog Daily Ramblings.

Also, on a side note-- blogger needs to come out with a iPad blogger app... just saying.

Off to bed! Work tomorrow!

Road ID

2011-11-14T12:58:00.001-05:00

I think every runner or biker should have a Road ID! Under that smiley face are the phone numbers associated to those names. The ID allows care givers to contact my family if something happened to me running(or anywhere).

I even found some coupon codes for you guys to use in the shipping of my box. These are for "The wrist ID sport".

These are the codes:

TAFTQP63VT

TAFTQP6RAJ

TAFTQP7A7U

Each are $1 off of the cost of the Wrist ID sport.

Hope you stay safe and get yourself one!

Pinterst!

2011-09-29T14:18:00.000-04:00

So I recently found this website that I am absolutely in love with. Its called Pinterest. The best way to explain this website is that it is a virtual pin board.

People post their ideas for different things. (I know this is a great explanation of the website). Categories include: apparel and accessories, art and architecture, design and packaging, DIY and crafts, fashion, film, music and books, food, home and furniture, kids, photography, people, prints and posters, science, technology, travel, products, and finally wedding and events.

Ideas are called "pins" and are created by a user and generally should include(or at least i think it is extremely helpful) the location from where the idea came from like a blog, etsy page, or website. After a pin is created anyone on pinterest can pin that idea. Pinterest users often say, if you love it pin it.

Some of the ideas that I have come across on pinterest are so smart and make you think now why didnt I think of this?

using a link roller to pick up glitter
using bread clips to label the ends of plugs on a power strip or to mark the end of the tape roll

There are so many great ideas out there and I encourage everyone to check this out!

New Motivation

Loving the new Blogger app!

2011-09-14T09:10:00.000-04:00

So Blogger came out with a new mobile blogging app-- uh, its about time blogger! Anyway, I'm in love with it! Look for more blogs in the future thanks to this sucker!

So last night, I spent the night with the lovely BF-- for a VERY VERY VERY belated birthday dinner at PF chang's. We had the most delicious dinner-- most of which I couldn't finish because it was just too much! Then on top of that I practically went into sugar overdose because we got the richest cake for dinner. Gosh it was good.

After dinner we decided to travel to target to pick up some supplies I needed for school, work and life! I came home and did this!

I took 3 lbs of laffy taffy and stuck labels on them to advertise for the brottier BBQ!

Now its off to do some homework for class tomorrow!

Hope you all are having a great night!

Things I have learned.

2011-09-13T09:52:00.001-04:00

I have learned over the past year or so a lot of things. Some of the most important things I've learned are:

1. That family is ALWAYS there for you:

(no matter how dysfunction you are)

Okay Much better!

2. Best Friends need to be given more credit:

3. Hard work work pays off much more than sucking up ever will:

4. You need to be a little silly to keep from going INSANE!:

5. True friends will be there in the end-- and they're the only ones that really matter:

I am currently going to resident assistant training, meeting fabulous people, and missing a whole lot of sleep. It should be over in a few days so I'll get you all caught up on my life..For now I'll leave you some Sillies!

Mustache Mania!

Cheesin'!

I'll try to update as soon as possible!

The Bone Marrow Queen

2011-08-04T06:40:00.000-04:00

Last year around this time, a friend that graduated with me from High School, Melissa-- lost her battle with Cancer. This year her close group of friends is hosting an event in her memory. I know that because most of my readers are from Facebook and probably already know about this stuff-- but I'm going to write about it anyway.

I'm not going to say much about Melissa because honestly her writing say it all.

Melissa loved to write. She was the most amazing writer I've ever heard. Throughout her journey she wrote a piece called The Bone Marrow Queen. If you haven't read this YOU MUST.

Here is the link.

Once you've read it.. and you decide that you like it--give her some recognition and "like" it on facebook too.

If you also haven't heard, her close friends are hosting Letters to Melissa

I highly suggest that you check out that first link-- if not all of them. She really was one of the most amazing writers-- and I honestly didn't even know until she was gone. Melissa was a wonderful person and everyone misses her.

Thanks for reading

Can't find that perfect shade of nail polish?

2011-08-03T15:00:00.000-04:00

So being a nail polish person--I've read a few blogs about creating that perfect shade of nail polish. Today I tried my very first attempt!

Lets get to the supplies:

Clear Nail Polish

Colored Shadow

A funnel created from post-its:

Now that we have all our items we simply take off the polish cap, add the funnel and a scoop of the shadow and shake. I added one scoop of the blue and got this:

I didn't really like how this turned out because it was super thin-- it looked watery on my nail. So I added another scoop of blue.

It started to look a little better this time, but just for fun I added a little black..

Not so pretty anymore...So I added a little white...

Moral of the story is-- less black is more.

This was a good first try. I'm going to be using making nail polish as a program for my RA social so it was good to just experiment with this.

Does this look like something you'd try? What colors would you try?

Amazon Kindle

2011-08-02T10:21:00.000-04:00

These are a few of my favorite things....

So last Christmas, my lovely sister Nikki got me the Amazon Kindle. Best decision ever. I absolutely love my Kindle and Kindle cover (thanks Michael!)

For those of you who do not know the Amazon Kindle is a lightweight, portable e-reader offered obviously by Amazon.com. The reason I thought to write this post today was because I drove past a borders bookstore and saw that it was closing. The likely cause of its closing is because of the Amazon Kindle-- and Borders lack of a relevant e-reader.

Anyway! Onto the fun stuff about my Kindle. The first and most important reason that I like my particular Kindle is because Nikki got me the Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi, which works anywhere in the world. The 3G is paid for by Amazon so you do not have to pay for any time spent searching for that perfect book. This is great for me because I am not necessarily in Wi-Fi when I'd like to purchase a book. You can literally buy a book anywhere.

The Kindle also displays "E Ink" verses LCD display. This allows easy reading (no headaches from the LCD light) and ability to read in the sun

The Kindle reads more like paper than a computer such as the iPad or iPhone which can be difficult to read in the sun due to a glare.

The battery life on the Kindle is absolutely rediculous. I can literally go over a month easily without having to charge it. This is because the Kindle loads a page and turns off. It keeps the page on the screen for about 15 minutes and then the Kindle goes to sleep and loads a beautiful image on the screen.

Here are some pictures to prove exactly how clear the Kindle is. It literally looks like a book.

Another thing that I really like about the kindle is the variety of books offered at consistently low prices. You can even get school books on the kindle (if you really want to). Searching for the book you want is done by simply switching on the internet and typing in the book you want. One more click and you'll have your book purchased.

The Kindle also has a number of accessories that you can buy with it such as decals, covers, lights, chargers etc.

I hope you enjoy my "review" of the amazon Kindle!

nun nun..... nun nun..nun nun SHARK WEEK! CHOMP!

2011-07-31T15:24:00.000-04:00

Its the most wonderful timeeee of the year! SHARK WEEK!

I'm fairly sure that 99% of Facebook has an OBSESSION with Shark Week. I'll admit it is pretty addictive.. sharks are mysterious creatures-- and probably one of the reasons I don't swim anywhere near where I can't stand. Yes, you heard that right.. the life guard for 8 years-- swimmer for even longer, wont swim in open water. I'm terrified, Go ahead make fun.

RAWRRRR!!This my friends, is one of the reasons why.

Now normally Shark Week occurs while my family is in Ocean City Maryland-- making the whole thing a bit more terrifying if you ask me.

At any rate--the Discovery Channel has a pretty awesome lineup of shows to watch starting with tonight's new shows "Great White Invasion", "Jaws Comes home"-- my night is set!

Photo Friday

2011-07-29T11:28:00.000-04:00

So I thought it would be a cool idea to let you see a weeks worth of photo's that happen on my iPhone every friday. I take a LOT of photos-- most of which are just things I think are cool... but maybe you'll think its cool too!

Here we go! No descriptions just pictures:

Goo Goo Dolls Concert!

2011-07-28T22:24:00.000-04:00

So as you saw my previous post yesterday, I was little more than excited about going to the Goo Goo Dolls and Michelle Branch concert. Lets be honest.. I was counting down the seconds!

We decided to get there around 6. We drove and parked on the other side of the river so we could 1. Have prime parking 2. Have less expensive parking 3. Have a nice little walk over to the park by the river. Succeeded in all of these by the way! We got across the river and down to Stage AE by about 6 but the line to get in was ABSOLUTELY ridiculously long.... I kinda had to pee (no surprise) so we decided to stop in the Jerome Bettis Grille. Most interesting bathrooms ever. The guys has a two way mirror so they don't have to miss a second of the game.. um, What about the girls!? Nothing cool except an overly dark room that has a sink that lights up from underneath at random times...

ANYWAY, so after we went pee, we decided to sit and have a drink. I'm a light beer person, but the special was Sam Adam's Summer Ale.. which wasn't bad.. Yay for expanding my beer selection!

At about 6:30 we decided to go in-- we stood on the lower section so we could be a little closer when Goo came on. (I also tried Blue Moon there too!)

The first band came on, called Parachute. They were pretty good but basically look nothing like they do in this video-- all their hair is super long now... Still goo artists.. take a listen:

Michelle Branch came out and played next. She actually played Leave the pieces from when she was in The Wreckers, which I thought was awesome..

Finally at about 9:15 Goo Goo Dolls came on. I went crazy with taking pictures and video so here you go!

I think this was my favorite Goo concert and I'm sooooo so so glad i went! I hope you enjoy the pictures.. maybe Ill add the video's too.. maybe..
