Et enfin la relique du bienheureux Anselmo Polanco, évêque de Teruel en Espagne, martyrisé par les Républicains pendant leur fuite vers la France en 1939. Le cardinal Robert Prevost s’est coulé dans la fonction – une fonction restaurée – avec une gravité empreinte de bienveillance, habillé comme un pape, parlant comme un pape, et ouvrant son discours par ces mots qui renvoient immédiatement au Christ : « La paix soit avec vous. » Notre Seigneur n’a-t-il pas envoyé ses disciples en mission en leur enjoignant de dire, dans quelque maison qu’ils visitent : « La paix soit sur cette maison » ? Une marée de fleurs blanches. Des enfants portant des lys blancs, symboles de la pureté. Pour les obsèques du petit Emile, samedi matin, en <a href="https://frejustoulon.fr/diocese/hauts-lieux-spirituels-var/basilique-sainte-marie-madeleine-a-saint-maximin-la-sainte-baume/" rel="noreferrer noopener" style="background: 0px 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #093969; font-weight: 700; text-decoration-line: none; transition-duration: 0.2s;" target="_blank">la basilique de Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume</a>, tout montrait la beauté d’une petite âme partie rejoindre le ciel pour y chanter éternellement la gloire de Dieu. Emile est devenu, par la grâce de Dieu, un petit apôtre de la prière et de l’espérance surnaturelle. Un enfant baptisé qui meurt avant d’avoir atteint l’âge de raison est encore revêtu de l’innocence de son baptême, et il jouit aussitôt du bonheur éternel. Du salut que Dieu dans son amour infini désire pour chacun, mais que nous sommes si tentés d’oublier…</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">La mort du petit Emile fut tragique, on peut même parler de la pire tragédie qui soit pour des parents. Disparu inexplicablement du Haut-Vernet le 8 juillet 2023, on ignora tout de son sort jusqu’au jour où une promeneuse découvrit le crâne du garçonnet sur un chemin de chasse fréquenté, non loin de ce petit village, le Samedi-Saint suivant, le 30 mars 2024. Les parents d’Emile, Marie et Colomban, en furent avertis le dimanche de Pâques, alors qu’ils se rendaient à la messe de <a href="https://reinformation.tv/resurrection-notre-seigneur-jesus-christ-calendrier/" rel="noreferrer noopener" style="background: 0px 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #093969; font-weight: 700; text-decoration-line: none; transition-duration: 0.2s;" target="_blank">la Résurrection</a>. C’était la fin de près de neuf mois d’angoisse indicible. Douleur insondable et délivrance à la fois. Ils savaient enfin où était leur fils, cet enfant de Dieu par le baptême : dans les bras de notre Mère du ciel, contemplant la Trinité sainte et tous les anges et saints du paradis.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"> </p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><h3 style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #222222; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 0px 0px 15px;">Emile et la joie de Pâques</h3><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Dix jours plus tôt, la maman d’Emile avait commencé une neuvaine à Vincent Lambert, mis à mort par la barbarie de ceux qui rejettent la loi naturelle en refusant aux plus faibles, aux plus fragiles, les soins élémentaires dus à chacun de nos semblables. Elle le suppliait pour qu’on retrouve son petit garçon. Ne pas rester dans la torture de l’angoisse. C’est au dernier jour de la neuvaine qu’Emile fut retrouvé. Et c’est dans la joie de Pâques que la nouvelle fut donnée à Colomban et Marie, qui ont dû se souvenir alors, dans leur douleur, du dessin qui leur avait été envoyé par une amie moins de deux semaines après la disparition de leur premier-né : on y voyait Jésus Ressuscité, devant la pierre roulée de son tombeau ouvert, prenant le petit Emile par la main…</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Telles sont les délicatesses du ciel.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">La messe de sépulture des petits enfants est célébrée en blanc ; on chante le <em style="box-sizing: border-box;">Gloria</em>, on ne sonne pas le glas mais le carillon de la fête. Pour une telle occasion, on peut choisir une messe votive : ce fut en l’occurrence celle de <a href="https://reinformation.tv/2-fevrier-purification-marie-calendrier/" rel="noreferrer noopener" style="background: 0px 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #093969; font-weight: 700; text-decoration-line: none; transition-duration: 0.2s;" target="_blank">la grande fête mariale de la Purification</a> du 2 février – et de la présentation de Jésus au Temple. Fête de joie et de douleur où la Vierge Marie, offrant son premier-né à Dieu, son père, entendit qu’un glaive transpercerait son Cœur Immaculé, en même temps que Siméon jubilait d’avoir vu le salut.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"> </p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><h3 style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #222222; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 0px 0px 15px;">Les obsèques d’Emile, une messe en blanc</h3><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Les parents d’Emile ont voulu que leurs nombreux invités, et les centaines de personnes qui les ont rejoints dans la grande basilique où reposent les restes mortels de <a href="https://reinformation.tv/marie-magdala-amour-christ-joubert-des-ouches/" rel="noreferrer noopener" style="background: 0px 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #093969; font-weight: 700; text-decoration-line: none; transition-duration: 0.2s;" target="_blank">sainte Marie-Madeleine</a> – troisième tombeau de la chrétienté – soient vêtus de blanc ou portent des couleurs joyeuses. C’était une messe grégorienne triomphale célébrée dans le rite traditionnel, ponctuée de chants polyphoniques des XVe et XVIe siècles et de touchants cantiques à la Vierge. Ne célébrait-on pas un nouveau petit saint ? Dans la nef, un silence recueilli, impressionnant – malgré le nombre de fidèles… mais pas seulement. Tous ceux qui sont venus n’avaient pas la foi. Ceux-là ont pu découvrir ce qu’est l’espérance chrétienne ; ils ont découvert l’équilibre de la foi chrétienne qui ne nie pas la souffrance ni le deuil, mais qui leur donne une signification et qui apporte, malgré tout, une consolation.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">C’est tout le sens de l’homélie de l’abbé Louis Le Morvan, de la Fraternité Saint-Pierre, <a href="https://reinformation.tv/homelie-messe-obseques-emile/" rel="noreferrer noopener" style="background: 0px 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #093969; font-weight: 700; text-decoration-line: none; transition-duration: 0.2s;" target="_blank">que nous reproduisons ici</a>. Comment ne pas être frappé par ses mots, bouleversé par l’émotion palpable de cet ami des parents ? Dans cette vallée de larmes, il n’est pas interdit de pleurer.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Oui, des larmes ont coulé à la vue du petit cercueil porté par les parents d’Emile, son parrain et sa marraine. Mais quel apaisement que cette messe d’obsèques qui ne laisse pas ceux qui souffrent sans réponse à leur douleur.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"> </p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><h3 style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #222222; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 0px 0px 15px;">Apôtre du bonheur éternel, Emile enseigne l’espérance</h3><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;"></p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Au moment de sa disparition, le petit Emile a été le petit apôtre de la prière : combien de supplications se sont élevées, combien de sacrifices offerts, combien de nuits d’adoration… Des inconnus confiaient qu’ils avaient retrouvé le chemin de l’Eglise pour prier pour le retour de ce chérubin dont la petite bouille espiègle a ému la France entière.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">On pourrait penser que toutes ces prières n’ont pas été entendues, car Emile n’a pas été retrouvé vivant. Mais comme à Marie-Madeleine, il lui a été donné la meilleure part. Et par la messe que ses parents ont voulue ouverte à tous, par les paroles inspirées de celui qui l’a célébrée, par leur témoignage de foi et d’espérance, ils ont rappelé au monde qui ne le sait plus que la mort n’est pas une fin, mais « l’entrée dans la Vie ».</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Et c’est peut-être ce dont notre monde a le plus besoin aujourd’hui, parce qu’on ne lui en parle plus guère. Le petit Emile est devenu, par la grâce de Dieu, un petit apôtre des fins dernières, un vivant rappel – oui, plus vivant que nous – de ce bonheur éternel que Dieu offre à chacun. Tout, au terme de sa brève existence, l’a montré.</p><p style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: 19px; margin: 0px 0px 20px; padding: 0px;">Qu’il console ses parents.
