My husband got me a really great gift in this Father's Day far away from South Korea !
" Sulwhasoo" and "The History Of Woo" both are famous skin care brands in South Korea.

I really wished my dehydrated,dull skin tone will have a great improvement after using it.Hahaha....^^

I must thanks the beauty consultant for giving my husband so many gift and trial sets. I'm a 1st time user and really looking forward for their other items especially the anti aging range as well the cosmetics. Frankly the products from this brand are quite expensive but if the trial items gave me a good result, why not to invest, right? They are really do a good job in recruiting new customers. Well done to Woo Team!However, if you can improve your website and counter brochure to English version, it will be better for a foreign customer. Really looking forward for that.

Sulwhasoo : Essential Range

I have a seriously dehydrated skin. Before i start with Whitening products, I prefer to have some treatment on my skin. After reading all the blogger review on this brand, I think this range able to balance and deliver deep hydration for my skin.

Essential Duo Set cost my husband W120,000

(USD 120).

It come with 5 pcs travelling kits and 1 actual size Balancing Water and 1 actual size Balancing Emulsion . These are the two items initially I would like to try but after using it this few days, I realised that their First Activating Serum quite good and I should had asked my husband get 1 actual size for me as well :(

I love this Herbal Soap, i am using it for clean up my face every morning and night.

It cost W42,000 ( USD42).

For Sulwhasoo, I am a bit disappointed because the beauty consultant didn't intend to give any of the whitening or anti aging sample to my husband. My husband told me maybe he wasn't spend a lots of money in that counter. I'm not greedy for the free items but just that I am really seriously intend to change my skincare to Korean Brand instead of Japanese Brand. It is so hard for me to buy Sulwhasoo or Woo in Malaysia and we only will buy it when visiting HK or Korea. Therefore, we need to know the other products range very well for next purchase in big quantity.

I nearly forget about Laneign was origin from Korea.It must be super cheap to buy in Korea compare to Malaysia. Therefore, I text my husband to get me some of the items as well :)

1. New Firming Sleeping Mask ! I got myself 2 bottle :) Never try but I trusted it will be another star products after their Water Sleeping Mask . Most importantly it only cost me around RM60.

2. Perfect Renewer Night Cream : Around RM150

3. Water Bank eye gel cream:Less then RM100 ( I forgot the price, around RM60-70 )

Another important information if you plan to visit South Korea and yet intend to buy some skincare, airport duty free retail price will be 10% cheaper then the normal department store. However, good news is even thought you buy in their department store, you can have 10% tax refund. It means no different in terms of pricing. For "The History Of Woo", the beauty consultant automatically helping my husband to get the receipt stamped at another tax refund counter in the store. However, Sulwhasoo beauty consultant didn't do that and this cause my husband need to go back to the department store just to get the Sulwhasoo receipt stamped. After both stamped and verify from the tax refund officer, you can just claim your refund at the airport directly without showing them the products bought and passport.

This mask is really expensive if you purchased in Malaysia but due to its name "firming" which i am really in need at this moment, I decided gave it a try. I love the texture of this mask, it is totally different then some other mask I used. The texture not creamy at all.Once you apply it on your face, it will penetrate into your skin and have a dry surface. According to the beautician, the specialty of this cream is it can be use on our eye and lips area.

2. White Brilliance Illumination Day Moisture SPF30/PA+++

RM298 ( USD65)

I love this step 3 moisturiser very much! It is specially for dull and lacklustre skin type and this is also my main concern in skin care. This brightening lotion enriched with pearl powder and botanical extracts which helps to fight the production of melanin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyper pigmentation. After using it, I really can see the improvement of my skin tone became brighter. I love the texture as well because it leave my skin with a smooth and comfortable feel. Not oily and sticky :)

3.Age Reform Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture Cream: RM298 ( USD65 )

This is a very rich moisturizer which is good for night use especially you sleep in the aircond room. It can instantly relief from dryness.Avocado, Sunflower and Olive fruit oils are the secret ingredients to leave out skin soft,smooth and polished. After using it over night, I realised that my skin still well moisture compare to some other cream i used.

Besides, I did try their step 2 items such as Age-Diffusing Serum for day use and Essential -C Daily Renewal Complex but sadly that these two items not really suitable for my sensitive combination skin. I had some break out and I just stop using it again.

從此以後，他母親就很少再對他嘮叨了，他看到母親也不會再躲，反而在下班之餘，會找母親聊聊天，他覺得現在他跟母親像朋友一般自在。

我们给孩子念故事，究竟要念到孩子几岁？

常常有妈妈很困扰，
因为孩子临睡前都会吵着她说故事。
当孩子一岁、两岁、还是三岁时，
即使白天妈妈可能在工作上耗尽了力，
她还是非常欢喜地拿着为孩子精心挑选的书读给他们听。

可是日子一天天过了，
孩子一天天长大了，
要求妈妈读故事的次数还是不减呀!
八岁，九岁，十岁，还是这样。
焦急和矛盾，妈妈心里拿不定该读还是不读。
再这样子下去，他们到底能不能自主阅读，
到底会不会影响识字能力，到底会不会太过依赖妈妈？

我仿佛听到孩子心里说：
“怎么我不可以向小时候那样躺在妈妈的怀里听妈妈说故事呢？
怎么我不可以好好地享受妈妈温柔的声音呢？
我不要长大！不要催我长大！
长大有那么多的要求等着我去达到，
有那么多的挑战要去面对，
有那么多的自由被剥夺。”

谁说十岁不能给孩子说故事？
沟通的桥梁就在此，
说教的话语可以省下，
情感的滋养更是需要持续。

如果可以，几句让我们慷慨给予孩子的关爱和耐性呢，
只不过通过这么一个小小的动作---说故事。
不用钱，不用费劲，
照实的读，诚恳地分享情感，
就这么一个小小的动作。

给他一个故事，孩子，
他就心满意足。

妈妈会一直为你读故事书。。。但，你可以也给这机会爸爸吗?我想爸爸也会很喜欢和你在床上一起渡过这美好的时光。妈妈了解你喜欢在阅读时间把爸爸"赶"出房门，只想和妈妈好好留在房间一起阅读。妈妈是很开心的但妈妈最近感觉到这对爱你的爸爸是有些残忍。爸爸目前还一直用尽办法想留下陪宝贝读些英文书但宝贝还是不领情。妈妈不再，你情愿把爸爸推出们后还上锁。一个人在房间"yiyiyaya"的读。我们俩真的拿你没办法。

宝贝，妈妈希望你能很快的能够让爸爸一起分享和你阅读的喜悦。

孩子有个好爸爸

最近看完了" 再见单人床" ，仿佛看到了自己的影子。凡是把一切抓得很紧，追求完美的自己往往把自己和身边人的弄到很累！虽然这是一时无法改变的事实但至少可以让我学会感恩。。。尝试把自己的心平静下来，好好观察周遭的一切。

你知道我第一感到最幸福和感恩的是什么吗?就是我有个好老公，女儿有个好爸爸！
当我把心静下来时，我真的可以好好的感受到老公对女儿的爱真的很伟大。试想有多少个做爸爸的在公司忙碌了一整天还可以坚持每天回家还陪伴孩子玩乐到入睡为此?

女儿就是很幸运的有这个好爸爸。老公每天放工回家吃饭冲凉后，就陪伴孩子。一陪就是几个小时的。每次都看到宝贝要爸爸做奇奇怪怪的动作，老公也很乐意的配合。给他们俩一个被单就可以玩上一个晚上。被单可以当成衣裳开始他们的fashion show,也可以当是武狮，跳跳舞.一老一少还把它当马骑。。。

如果是假期更不用说了。。。宝贝可以跟爸爸玩到午睡也忘了。宝贝的要求，爸爸很少拒绝。

宝贝的第一次运动会，爸爸也把自己的第一次泼出去了。为了支持宝贝，爸爸还当众跳舞呢！

老公，你真的带给我们很多欢乐咯！

子成长。虽然我没说出口但每次看到你和小宝贝的互动，我真的感到很开心。

3 Years Old Birthday : School

11 April ...a special day my baby Giselle said "hello" to this beautiful world. It was a memorable day for our family. Even though daddy wasn't around due to your grand father 1st day of funeral, mummy was accompany by your two unties, uncle Daniel, popo LimLong and Joey cheche at Adventis Hospital to witness your birth.

My little Giselle love to draw square lately. Yesterday night, my husband and I were so surprised that she added in 2 eyes, nose, mouth and ears into her square/ rectangle box. If you notice from the picture, she has replaced the ears wrongly at the cheek area. However, mummy and daddy were not intend to correct her because we want her to notice it by herself and draw base on her own imagination.

Above was the family members she draw and I helped her to write down the name.

孩子們在ＭＴＶ裡看到明星珠光寶氣，佩戴價值數十萬美元的手錶和項鍊。
告訴孩子，這些裝扮時髦的明星在十年內肯定會過氣。這是事實，孩子們必須知道真相。
讓他們明白這不是錢的問題。孩子們可能認為自己應該變得富有——
這是個很棒的動機，但他們真正想要的是（你也得為他們爭取）自由。
教導孩子之所以不買奢侈品而要存錢，是因為這樣做能確保財務上的穩定，而財務穩定了才能享有自由。
如果銀行裡有存款，就可以想做什麼就做什麼了。

像玩遊戲一樣，某天讓他們追蹤自己的拿鐵因數，然後讓他們報告把錢用在什麼地方。
讓他們算一下，如果省下不該花的錢，將來能積聚多少財富。
當孩子們發現這樣做真的可以讓他們成為千萬富翁，他們肯定會大吃一驚並為之所動。

大衛巴哈最為人知的就是所謂的「拿鐵因子」理論。每次演講場合，他總會問人家這個問題：如果你每天省下一杯的拿鐵的錢（假設相當於新台幣50 元），存下來放到每年10%報酬的投資組合上，40 年後究竟可以變多少？100 萬？300萬，了不起500 萬？

但真正的答案是：948 萬6109 元，將近千萬。在台灣，有多少人擁有千萬而退休呢？每天一杯的拿鐵錢，最後變成千萬的退休財富，這就是大衛巴哈所說的「拿鐵因子」理論。它特別提醒我們：時間複利的威力很驚人，千萬別忽略身邊點點滴滴的小錢。

拿鐵因子公式有一個重點：那就是時間。

如果你愈早做，累積財富就愈多。以上面那個例子來說，只累積30 年的話，那麼財富只有339 萬730 元。換言之，晚個10年財富就差600 多萬。「拿鐵」當然只是一個比喻。每個人一定都有類似拿鐵一樣的理財漏洞，或許你是香菸、或者是健美茶⋯⋯，無論如何，想要成為千萬富翁，就先找出自己的「拿鐵因子」。

注意你花錢的流向。每個月的收入，你都拿去做了什麼？付房貸、給父母、付一堆信用卡帳單、甚至付錢給政府（繳稅）。

大衛巴哈認為，這都是付錢給別人，而想要累積財富，就必須打造一條「付錢給自己」的金錢流向。

第五課　教育孩子瞭解信用卡和負債的陷阱

如果孩子們逐漸沉溺於使用信用卡，無庸置疑這是我們在誤導他們。孩子們親眼看見我們毫不負責的簽帳消費，但他們見不到的是債務帶來的沉重壓力。

讓他們明白信用卡也有複利效應，只不過是反向的。
跟你的孩子說，如果利率為二○％，每月靠支付最低還款額還清七千美元的卡債，需時將超過三十四年，花費二萬多美元。
解釋清楚：如果能謹慎負責地使用信用卡，那就沒問題。但帳單上的最低還款額是一個陷阱，目的是讓他們永遠背負債務。最重要的一點，如果遲繳信用卡帳單，或乾脆不繳，那就等於毀了自己的信用紀錄，這樣日子可不好過。

讓孩子明白，銀行或商家願意給他們信用卡，並不代表他們真的就負擔得起。

Who's Bryan Afternoon Tea

今天有点累但还是和宝贝在附近的Who's Bryan喝下午茶。希望可以让自己好好放松些和家人渡过星期天。

妈妈为宝贝选了一块blueberry cheese cake但宝贝却只把 blueberry cream全吃光了。

宝贝看到这糕点原本是很开心，但过一会儿，宝贝连动它们也不想动了！或者不是很好吃吧！爸爸妈妈就只好自己吃。

还好，宝贝还喜欢这hot chocolate呢！

其实对这次的下午茶有些失望。妈妈我比较喜欢在清静的环境和柔柔的灯光下喝茶。但，这次妈妈座位旁全是玻璃窗，感觉到外面的阳光很刺眼。妈妈也和宝贝一样无法好好的享用茶点。只好快快的吃完就回家了。希望下次会遇到更好的地方再次和心爱的人好好渡过周末。

15th Jan 2013 宝贝终于正式上学了！

宝贝其实在去年中一直吵着妈妈要去上学，曾经连续几天冲好早凉后就拿书包和穿好鞋站在家窗前对妈妈微笑要去上学了！妈妈本来没想过那么早送宝贝去Kindergarden但看到宝贝每次都很失望的样子，妈妈和爸爸终于认输了！你看，宝贝女儿胜利的笑容多开心！但，宝贝，妈妈曾经因为你要上学了而在夜里哭了起来。妈妈从来没离开过你，很舍不得。真的很惭愧妈妈比你懦弱！宝贝可比妈妈我坚强多了！

妈妈可费了几个月时间才帮宝贝找到这间学校。希望宝贝会好好学习和适应新环境。

妈妈和爸爸特别喜欢这里因为爸妈认为宝贝可以接触到很多有趣的新事物。教师和教材都不错。虽然学费比其它学校贵些但爸妈还是认为是值得的，一分钱一分货嘛！你看，宝贝有机会学习Kinder Music 呢！是不是很棒?

宝贝还可以做Little Engineer 呢！妈妈知道你会喜欢这堂课。

宝贝从小就喜欢Flashcard但这次宝贝可要学华语呢！今天回家，宝贝就一直从复老师教宝贝的。。。"爸爸，妈妈和姐姐 "宝贝在学校可真的有认真学习呢！妈妈可为你感到骄傲。

宝贝也很喜欢一边学习一边上彩色呢！

妈妈就喜欢这样大大的食堂。就像小学时候的食堂。这里还有小小的洗手盆，宝贝你一直都很喜欢洗手，这次你可高兴,可以自己去洗手了！

宝贝放学之前还可以玩一些游戏。有时是户外，有时是户内。宝贝你也一定很喜欢。

对了！宝贝，学校老师既然不会读你的华语与英文名。妈妈只好叫校长用你的英文名。今天，校长还几次纠正老师们正切的读音呢！妈妈也有点不好意思 :)

其实，妈妈在宝贝还没有上学之前已和宝贝沟通好妈妈只会放宝贝在学校而妈妈会在放学时才接宝贝回家。所以宝贝一直不知道妈妈其实还在学校偷偷地关察宝贝。妈妈是有点不放心。但，一切都多疑因为宝贝今天表现得很好！没哭也没闹！妈妈希望宝贝明天也一样好好上学。希望明天会更好！

My little girl Giselle attended Musikgarten class at You & Me Kindergarten since last year somewhere in October 2012. She love the class very much and really enjoying the 30 minutes session with Teacher Grace, who is also the school principle. I think she is a great teacher who has passionate in music as well in children right brain development.If you are looking for a good nursery or kinder garden, please do not hesitate to visit her centre in Penang Island somewhere near Kwong Hwa Primary School.

Why Music and Movement are Vital for Children:

Peanut butter and jelly, socks and shoes, bats and balls, hide and seek, music and children - are all elements of childhood. Children are naturally interested in music, and music is naturally good for children. Why is music so attractive to children and why is music so well suited to children?

	Music is a language, and children are oriented toward learning language.
	Music evokes movement, and children delight in and require movement for their development and growth.
	Music engages the brain while stimulating neural pathways associated with such higher forms of intelligence as abstract thinking, empathy, and mathematics.
	Music's melodic and rhythmic patterns provide exercise for the brain and help develop memory. Who among us learned the ABC's without the ABC song?
	Music is an aural art and young children are aural learners. Since ears are fully mature before birth, infants begin learning from the sounds of their environment before birth.
	Music is perfectly designed for training children's listening skills. Good listening skills and school achievement go hand in hand.

	Music is a social activity which involves family and community participation. Children love to sing and dance at home, school, and at church.

Should Parents attend and participate in the classes?

Parents are an integral part of class in the younger years. As students get older they participate by themselves, but parents take part in the classes towards the end of each lesson. For all classes, parents are asked to include active music making in their child’s life. Sing along with the CD. Play echo games, making up patterns, as we do in class. Put the picture cards or notation games on your refrigerator and play identification games with them as you get ready for dinner. More structured practice is required when the children get to Music Makers: At the Keyboard.

Why do the students get Home Materials? Are we supposed to practice at home?

Children and parents can have so much fun at home and in the car with Musikgarten songs and dances. In class you learn the songs, but at home is where you really have fun with the songs and dances. It's a great family bonding time. Try it and you won't have to ask this question ever again!

Does Musikgarten today better prepare students for piano lessons?

Yes. Musikgarten classes develop students aural senses more than other pre-piano methods. The Music Makers: At the Keyboard classes are taught in a group session, so that children learn from each other and grow in their comfort of playing with and in front of one another.

宝贝的下午茶

宝贝，

今天妈妈再次带你去喝下午茶。你出生后，妈妈已带过你去几次但或许你还小都不记得了。现在你长大了，希望你会和妈妈一样喜欢洋式的下午茶 :)

妈妈是在美国时爱上了下午茶。爸爸和妈妈曾经几乎每个星期天都会一起去美美的家庭式茶厅喝茶拍拖 . 妈妈也特喜欢西方茶杯，有收集它们的爱好。。^^

这次宝贝你还真喜欢这间Precinct 10的Winter Warmest。宝贝在等候糕点时还会叫爸爸带你去看美美的Teacup。宝贝你也会要妈妈帮你拍照呢！

看到这美美的糕点，宝贝也开始紧张起来。。。宝贝一时很想尝试很多不同的糕点 :)

妈妈我就很忙的一个个的让你吃但宝贝你有点不乖，都没好好的吃完每一个，害得爸妈要帮你把剩下的吃完。妈妈可惨，一个星期的减肥计划都泡汤了！

但，看到你那样开心妈妈也开心。你特别喜欢Scone和它的jam & dip cream.

这次妈妈也让宝贝有自己小小的茶杯。妈妈相信宝贝已是时候可以handle自己的茶杯。宝贝，你可聪明，真的可以好好的喝茶而且还喝了两杯呢！

这次的下午茶，真正的受害者可是你爸爸。爸爸说他这次吃得太多甜品了但妈妈当着没听见因为爸爸太瘦了，没什么大不了！哈哈！其实，妈妈是想偷偷陷害爸爸的！

下星期天妈妈再次带你去喝下午茶！

Stir Fried Mushroom with Basil

今年第二天开始，自己很努力的减肥！我的每一餐都以蔬菜为主。只有星期天才放纵自己吃些别的。今天，我尝试用我家种的Basil来做菜。希望你们会喜欢。

Ingredients:
* Finely chopped garlic
* Salt
* Black Pepper
* Margarine/ Butter and....

Black Ear Fungus+ Hypsizygus Marmoreus

Fresh Basil : Finely chopped

Steps:-

1. Heat up the wok and stir the margarine or butter

2. Stir fry the garlic until a little bit golden in colour

3. Add in black fungus and stir for a while

4.Add in Hypsizygus Marmoreus and stir fry until cooked

5.Add a little bit of salt and black pepper

6. Pour in the chopped basil and turn off the fire.

Ready to serve with white rice :) Hope my hubby will like it :)

2013 New Improvement

After the Legoland trip, my little girl has new improvements.

1st Improvement :Go to toilet to pee whenever she want.She is just do it by herself. I'm not teaching her on that.
I think she just learned that thru daily observation what's mummy and daddy did in the past.

2nd improvement : No diapers on the afternoon nap and also early in the morning after 3am....^^

Conversation between Giselle and mummy : middle of the night in aircond room on mummy bed....
1st day of Jan :
"Mummy , no pampers!No pampers!"
"No!Honey!Must wear pampers!If not you wee wee and wet wet mummy bed then how? Smell bad!"
"Mummy!New One! New One! " ( She means changing for her new diapers )
After few hours I realised Giselle was sleeping without her diapers and pants on :(

2nd day of Jan : Mummy on gallbladder retreat and tired
" Mummy cool!Cool!" I was awake by Giselle and again realised she was sleeping without pants & diapers on her :(

3rd day of Jan : Mummy felt sick and had a deep sleep til early in the morning around 5am.
3rd times Giselle was sleeping without pants and diapers on and this time she did pee on my bed!
Immediate after Giselle woke up ......
" Honey, Good morning, hug hug .Good sleep?" As usual I asked
" Giselle good sleep ."
" Then good!"
" Honey, why you wet wet mummy bed ?" I pointed at the spot she pee...
" You see ,all wet wet lio."
Giselle gave me a very sweet smile....I think she understand what I'm trying to say.
" Honey, if you don't want pampers then Giselle sleep on the Giselle bed.If not mummy bed smell bad.Ok?"
Again, she gave me another sweet smile....
" Honey, ok bor?"
She knock her head with a smile....

After this conversation, she is sleeping on her on bed which I put on the floor without diapers on in the afternoon nap. At night also will practice the same but she agreed to wear diapers at the beginning and then I will open it whenever she request in the middle of the night.

All these days, she really didn't pee on the bed and only pee after she wake up.

3rd Improvement : Giselle sleeping alone and no more with mummy .
*Sad thing is she doesn't allow me on her bed as well. I tried to hug her and wish to sleep with her in the morning but end up she was asking me to go back to my bed :(

在还没离开新山前，我们到了这家饭店吃brunch.它的Bah Kut Teh 真的很好吃。现在想起真的还有些回味呢！

这次会在吉隆坡过一夜。主要目的是和老朋友聚一聚。原本他们是要陪我到新山但一时book不到hotel所以没去了。但，我还是觉得很感动！谢谢你们！这次的聚会拉回了彼此的距离。很久大家没一起逛街一起打发时间讲废话了！
