We headed up to Algonquin Park on Saturday morning after we dropped Chloe off at Bekkers Pet Care. Three hours later I think we saw why we don't go to a Provincial Park on May 24 weekend, because we are old and have kids. It was busy, but all I like to do is sit around have a beer, read and sleep. With the partying teenagers and the Sunday night temperature of -0.9, according to The Weather Network
, there was going to be complaining going on in the tent!

I can say that it was cold, but it's good for the body! We all got through it and of course leaving on the Monday, it was the nicest day of the weekend. There are a few photos posted in 2007's picture album.

Sarah's site

And here is a link to Sarah's new site, I think she uses that now.

It is now 2007

Did you know it is 2007???

I can not catch-up at updating this think. Not much has happened; hockey has started and hockey pools have been filling up. Thanksgiving is almost here. Here is a link to photos from September.

Last weekend of August

Saturday, August 26th, turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. And a great day to be outside at the North Lanark Highland Games. There were many events going on at the same time, so we did not even get photos of the athletes during their competing, as the kids spent a lot of time at competing on their own (check out photos here).

Thanks to the Parker's for the invite out to Glen Mar Golf & Country Club for brunch. We all enjoyed it very much. Happy birthday to Scott, Jayna and Sam!!!

After brunch, it was off to browse and shop, before heading out to Stacey's parents for her mothers' birthday dinner. Yes!!! More food! It was a great Roast, Yorkshire Puddings, and all.
