Friendship comes easy to women but having real friends is hard to do. True friends are to come by. Do you think it’s appropriate for friends to keep secrets from each other. In what circumstances might it be okay? I think we as individuals must have some secrets. We all need privacy to a degree. I know I don't tell my friends everything. Not even my very best friends know everything about me. I guess you can say I think secrets are OK in certain circumstances.

What about lying. Do you think lying is OK? Watching this show you will see the lies unfold making Pretty Little Liars a must see.

Do you keep secrets from your friends? Do you think keeping secrets from your friends is OK? What about to the degree Alison did? What about what really happened at Hilton Head? Please comment and tell me what you think in this post!

Do you believe Spenser's and the other girl's secrets where the cause of Alison's death? I do! I can't wait to see what happens next on Pretty Little Liars. This has became my new must see show! Plus I totally dig some of their stylish clothes.
Goalforit has Chore Chart that is an easy-to-use tool that helps teach kids about responsibility, proper behavior & manners and habits for good health. These are essential skills that helps your child develop a great foundation for their future. You can customize your child’s chart by choosing a background and adding goals & chores from the 40 different ones they offer.

Once logged in to Goalforit, you will be taken to your Profile page. Your child’s chart will appear under the Kids Charts section. Click on your child’s chart. If your has completed a chore you click on the circle next to the chore for that day and choose which sticker you want for that chore. Once a sticker is picked for that chore it will be used for the entire week for that chore.

Moolah is an optional point system you can use as an incentive for your child to successfully complete their chores each day. You turn Moolah points on by assigning a point value (1-50) to each chores you have added to a chart during step 3 of the chart creation process. How cool is that! Your kids can be rewarded for their hard work! You also receive reward certificates from the Moolah point system for your kids accomplishments.
I am actually very sad that the show had to come to an end. In these episodes of Smallville over the years we have seen him display some amazing Superhuman Powers? Which power is your favorite out of all his powers? Which one would you love to have and why?

Heat Vision - ("Heat" Season 2, Ep. 2): Heat vision, the Kryptonian power of emitting heat and fire beams from the eyes, is specifically triggered through sex drive impulsion and can be controlled through dedicated practice. Clark finds his Heat Vision in Season 2 "Heat" while wathcing a nautre film in Biology class and sets the movie screen on fire. He learns how to control the Heat Vision and uses it to protect himself and others. Why is this your favorite superpower and what would you do if you obtained Heat Vision?

Super Speed - ("Pilot" Season 1, Ep. 1): The earliest manifested Kryptonian power which allows Clark to move at speeds faster than the speed of light. In Season 1 "Pilot," Clark misses his bus but reveals his super speed when he outruns it through a cornfield. Why is this your favorite superpower and what would you do if you obtained Super Speed?

Super Strength - If you watch Clark in all of his episodes you will notice Clarks ability to be able bend metals and objects no person can bend. He can even defend the Earth by pushing another planet into the Atmosphere. The strength he displays is amazing. He could stop a train.

Super Healing - Clark Kent always heals faster than normal humans. If he does get hurt. Bullets tend to bounce off of him and fire doesn't even seem to touch him. I would love to be able to heal like that and not even have a scar.

Super Hearing - Clark Kent has some super sensitive hearing. He can hear clear across town when someone needs his help. He can hear the things no one else can. It is very hard to keep a secret from this guy.

Flying - Clark Kent can now fly. How awesome is that! It took him a long time to be able to do this but now he has completely transitioned from the blur to superman according to the last episode.

Out of all Clark Kent's Super Abilities I would love to have the ability of speed. I never have enough time in the day to get what I needed done. Speed would help me with this. I could have all the time in the world if I had Clark Kent's speed. That is my favorite Superhuman Power! What is yours? Comment on this post and let me know!
So much Drama with Lana, Chloe is like a sister who has always had feelings for Clark, and Lois has liked Clark but then like turned into feelings in time because they were destined to be together.

I love watching the romance on Smallville. Clark seems so innocent at love yet tends to make so many mistakes trying to protect the women he loves. I love watching this show. Their is drama, action, and romance! It has it all!

Lois Lane - ("Crusade" Season 4, Ep. 1): A slowly developed relationship over the years; from complete strangers to romantic lovers, Lois Lane is a journalist for the Daily Planet. After five years of friendship with Clark, they fall in love and she becomes Clark Kent's fiancee. She first appears in Season 4 "Crusade," when she arrives in Smallville to investigate the death of her cousin Chloe. She meets Clark for the first time when he falls from the sky and is found naked in a corn field. She wraps a red blanket around him (iconic for his future cape) and begins their reltionship. Does their relationship live up to this moment?

Lana Lang - ("Exile" Season 3, Ep. 1): One of the most important and dramatic relationships of the series, Lana is a superheroine who fights to preserve life. Lana is Lex Luthor's ex-wife and Clark Kent's first love. She grew up a mile away from Clark, who admired her from afar for years. Clark finally asks her out in highschool and she becomes an important part in his life. In Season 3 "Exile," Lana Lang tries to bring Clark back to Smallville after he heads to Metropolis under the influence of the red kryptonite ring. How is this an indicator of a significant romantic relationship?

Chloe Sullivan - ("Whisper," Season 3, Ep. 10): Chloe, whose relationship with Clark is one of the longest and most complicated in the series, is Clark's best friend and hides an unrequited love for Clark. She is Lois Lane's cousin and first met Clark in eight grade. In Season 3 "Whisper," Chloe and Clark patch their rocky relationship after Clark discovers that Chloe has been helping Lionel Luthor uncover information about him in exchange for a job at the Daily Planet. Is this the sign of a strong relationship?

I think Lois is my favorite for Clark's relationships. Their friendship and growth of love over time makes their relationship stronger. Plus she has so much spunk and attitude. Her loyalty to the blur is a plus but working at the Daily Planet with Clark Kent made both her and Clark realize they have real chemistry. Clark almost ruins it many times but their love stands the test of time when he realizes he needs her and doesn't want a life without her.

Chloe is to much of a sister and at times she is just a bit to confusing. Plus her role protecting Clark would be complicated if the were involved.

Lana was to toxic and was surrounded with to much Drama all the time. They spent more time trying to protect their relationship than actually having one. Plus Lex was always somewhere in the picture. I was glad when they finally took her out of the picture.

I love Smallville. You will too if you watched it. As soon as I started I was hooked. Granted I was sad to hear that this show was coming to an end. But I can't wait to see the show finale.

What is more interesting than Clark's love life is his rivalries. The one that sticks out the most famous to me is Lex Luther. They started out best friends and turned into enemies. They had a love - hate relationship! Even when fighting each other you get the impression they still care about each other. Lex always competed with Clark over everything! He wanted everything of Clark's.

Another Rival of Clark's I find interesting besides Lex is the alternate Clark. It is a bit creepy to see an evil Clark. This Clark is Clark Luther instead of Clark Kent. Clark gets to see why Lex turned out the way he did and sees what would happen if he too was raised by Lyonel Luther.

My favorite rival of Clarks will always be Lex though! He was big part of the show and always seem to hold the most power I think. Just like my favorite girl in Clark's life will be Louis verses Lana.

Presented on May 28; Network Also Acquires Animated Favorite “Conan the Adventurer”

LOS ANGELES – The Hub Television network, a destination for kids and their families, has acquired two popular animated hit series that build on the network’s strategy of providing programming that kids and families can enjoy together. The iconic and beloved pop-culture series “Jem and the Holograms,” which originally aired in the late 1980s, will join The Hub’s schedule weekdays beginning Tuesday, May 31, at 7 p.m. ET (with encore performances throughout each day) and on Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET.

A special sneak peek of the first 6 episodes of “Jem and the Holograms” will be presented on Saturday, May 28, from 2-5 p.m. ET.

Additionally, fan-favorite, half-hour, animated series “Conan the Adventurer” will make its way on to the Hub’s summer schedule, joining a diverse lineup of live-action and animated programs on The Hub, a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., now available to 62 million U.S. cable and satellite households.

The series “Jem and the Holograms” ran from 1985-’88 in first-run syndication and still boasts a loyal and vocal fan base. It is frequently credited with influencing fashion in the late 1980s and beyond, and launching the careers of female pop-rock stars and music groups. The series follows Jerrica Benton, whose discovery of Synergy, a powerful computer companion, allows her to transform from co-owner of Starlight Music into rock star Jem. Teaming with her sister and best friends who form The Holograms, Jem sets out to make their musical dreams come true, even as she battles against the ruthless Eric Raymond and his musical protégés, The Misfits. The series was a joint collaboration of Hasbro Inc., Marvel Productions, as well as Sunbow Productions and was acquired from the Hasbro Studios library.

In addition, The Hub is adding to its lineup the animated action series “Conan the Adventurer” (to be presented weekdays beginning Tuesday, May 31 at 7:00 a.m. ET with encore presentations on Sundays at 6:00 a.m. ET). The series follows the mighty warrior’s quest to undo the spell cast upon his family by driving his enemies back into another dimension, and vanquishing their leader, the cruel wizard, Wrath-Amon. The series originally ran from 1992–‘94, and was produced by Jetlag Productions as well as Sunbow Productions and was acquired from the Hasbro Studios library.

THE HUB is a multi-platform joint venture between Discovery Communications (NASDAQ: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK) and Hasbro, Inc., (NASDAQ: HAS) with a goal of entertaining, enlightening, empowering and educating children and their families.
By Lisa Pecos

School is where kids acquire the bulk of their learning, but it is hard to have success at school without a solid foundation of education in the home, starting at a very early age and continuing through the teen years. Most parents are aware of the things they can do to prepare their young children for the school years, but too many parents neglect to continue their early efforts, assuming that the teachers will take care of the rest. If you want your child to have the best chances of success later in life, it is important to continue your educational efforts. Here are just a few ways that you can help.

1. Reading – According to the U.S. Department of Education, parents should make an effort to read to their children at least 30 minutes a day. Because very young children often do not have the patience for reading sessions this long, it may be advisable to break it up into several short reading periods throughout the day. This prepares the child to learn to read, and it strengthens the parent-child bond. Even after a child starts reading on his or her own, it is an essential activity.

2. Talk about should – Many children are in the habit of putting school out of their minds as soon as they get home, but if you want your child to remain engaged and perform well in her homework, try to make sure she does not forget what she learned that day. At dinner and other convenient times, ask about what types of things she learned in school that day, and be sure to ask follow-up questions and engage in real conversation. This will keep her thinking about what she learned, which will assist in internalizing the new information.

3. Fill your home with books – Studies have shown that children who grow up in houses that are full of books tend to fare better in school. Even if you do not have tons of books, just a few dozen high-quality and interesting books can make a huge difference. Having newspapers and magazines around can also help.

4. Be involved with school – Parental engagement translates into child engagement, and it keeps you abreast of what is happening during those hours when your child is at school. As much as your schedule allows, try to be active in the parent-teacher community, and make sure that you establish strong relationships with all your child’s significant teachers. A positive side effect of this is that it will set a positive example of community involvement for your children to emulate.

5. Be open to questions – Children usually get the chance to ask questions at school, but in many cases there either is not enough time, or kids are simply too embarrassed to ask certain questions. Try to make yourself into a go-to educational resource that your children can use whenever school is inadequate. Inform them that no questions are too silly, and that you will help them track down the answers to any questions you are unsure of.

6. Offer continuous encouragement – Most parents try to find a balance between overpraising their kids and not giving them enough encouragement. While your particular approach will depend on your child’s personality and your own parenting style, it is always a good idea to make sure your child knows you notice the work he puts into learning, and that you are proud of his achievements. Kids get reinforcement at school, but parental encouragement is much more valuable.

7. Place limits on media – The American Academy of Pediatrics recommend that parents permit their children no more than two hours of media consumption per day. This applies to television, video games, the internet, and mobile devices. When you add all these things together, two hours of media time may seem draconian to the youth of today, but kids have a remarkable ability to get used to these things.
By Kim Hendrickson,

You decided weeks ago (when you thought you had endless time) to have friends join you to celebrate the holiday season but now that the event is almost here you are beginning to panic.

Stop! Relax!

Give yourself the gift of preparing an easy and show-stopping small bite that will please everyone, in your crowd.

We all know we eat with our eyes first, this recipe will give your guests a small bite that they will be delighted to look at and just as eager to devour! Once you get the hang of making beef roses, these canapés couldn't be simpler.

The toasted canapés bottoms can be prepared and frozen in advance. The herb cream cheese can be made and refrigerated a week in advance or, in a pinch, can be easily substituted with store-bought Boursin Cheese. The beef roses can be assembled and frozen on a tray, waiting in anticipation to being used for your next gathering. The arugula is the only ingredient that needs to be chopped in advance but even assembling these elements can be done a full day in advance.

These original and tasty bites are substantial and will keep your guests satisfied while you enjoy your own holiday party.

Recipe:
Rose Beef Canapés
Yield: 24 canapés

8-12 large slices whole grain bread
4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter, melted
6 ounces whipped cream cheese
¼ cup milk
1 small clove garlic, minced
¼ cup chopped mixed fresh herbs (chives, marjoram, tarragon, and/or basil)
Salt and freshly ground pepper
1 large bunch arugula
12 thin slices rare roast beef
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
2-inch round cutter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut two or three 2-inch rounds from each slice of bread for a total of 24 rounds. Brush both sides of each slice with melted butter. Place on a baking sheet and toast until brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.

Blend cream cheese with milk, garlic, and herbs in a small bowl until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste. Spread an even layer of the now herbed cheese on top of each toast piece.

Stack several arugula leaves and roll tightly. Thinly slice the roll to create fine ribbons of arugula. Repeat with remaining arugula; you should have about 3 cups. Top each toast with a small mound of arugula.

Place one slice of beef on a cutting board and cut a strip down each side, 1 inch from the browned edge. Put aside the center part for another use. Take one strip and roll it up, tightly at first, then less and less so. Pinch the inside, non-dark edge of the roll. Fold down the outside edges to create "petals." Finally, cut a thin slice off the bottom where you have been holding it together to create a flat base.

Nestle the rose atop the arugula and into the spread. Sprinkle a few pieces of red onion in the center of the rose. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

By Marc Courtiol

According to the latest figures from the Centers for Disease Control, nearly 20 percent of American children between the ages of 6 and 11 are now obese, and 18 percent of young people between ages 12 and 19 meet the criteria for obesity. These numbers are startling enough on their own, and they do not even take into account the children who are officially overweight but not obese. All in all, one third of American children are bigger than they should be.

The effects of childhood overweight and obesity go far beyond the surface. According to the CDC, overweight young people have a higher risk of high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and high cholesterol, and this can increase their risk of health problems throughout life. Meanwhile, many overweight youths suffer from bone and joint problems, sleep apnea, and emotional problems resulting from low-self-esteem and social stigmatization. When overweight children grow up, continued health problems can lead to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, stroke, osteoarthritis, and certain forms of cancer.

In light of all these facts, it is clear that parents should be doing more to make sure their children stay healthy. However, this can be more challenging than it sounds since kids are bombarded with media advertisements for unhealthy food, are pressured by other kids into eating unhealthy foods, and too often do not have healthy food options at school. Meanwhile, kids today consume more media than ever and spend less time outside, meaning that they rarely get the exercise they need.

Many parents accept these things as facts of modern life, but we do our children a disservice when we do not encourage them to be healthy. This is one of those areas where a little tough love on the part of parents can go a long way. Plus, by talking with your children and making them aware of these issues, you can recruit them on the side of health. Here are a few ideas to keep in mind:

* Avoid rewarding kids with sweets. This will get them into the habit of expecting sweet treats whenever they do anything good. Try using other rewards. Sweets may be powerful, but they send a potentially negative message.
* Serve breakfast. Studies have shown that kids who eat breakfast have lower body-mass indices. Plus, having breakfast gives your child a burst of energy and mental alertness that can help during school.
* Cut out unnecessary calories.> Even when our kids eat moderately and do not overindulge in desserts, it is common for them to still get hundreds of empty calories from things like sodas and fruit juices. In short, there is no reason for children to drink these things, and it cannot hurt to break this habit. Even most fruit juices that bill themselves as healthy are mostly high-fructose corn syrup. Give your child real, fresh fruit instead.
* Limit media time. Kids who consume less than two hours of media per day are on average healthier than those who consume more. This includes television, internet, mobile devices, and video games. Many kids initially resist these restrictions, but they soon find other more active ways to fill their time.
* Use lower-fat/calorie alternatives. Especially when it comes to ingredients in meals, you can usually get away with using lighter alternatives without a significant loss of flavor.
* Encourage healthier snacks and desserts. Many kids get into the habit of expecting sweet desserts after every meal, and some even expect to have additional sweets as snacks in between meals. You can encourage better habits by making fruits and vegetables available for snacks and desserts and saving those sweets for special occasions.
* Involve kids in meal planning: Educate yourself as much as possible with regard to health, and involve the kids in the process. Work together to create meals that are both healthy and tasty. Some kids are not interested in this type of involvement, but for others it can spark a lifelong love affair with healthy eating.

By Marc Courtiol

No one said parenting was going to be easy. As children grow up, countless issues can arise, and as parents it is our job to try to guide our children through these times to the best of our abilities. An essential part of this job is to talk to our children about serious issues that kids face. These talks are not always easy, and they can be downright uncomfortable for both parent and child. However, they are crucial for a child’s development, and they are also useful for establishing the lines of communication.

There are a few parent-child talks that we often think of as milestones because they occur at important moments in a child’s growth. Many of these talks are as difficult as they are important, and it is not always clear how to approach them. Here are six of the most difficult ones.

1. Bullying

All children face bullying at one time or another. What parenting experts tend to forget is that for every bullied child there is a bully, and in fact the same child may play both roles at various times. But even though we may think of bullying as a standard part of childhood, it is a serious issue. It can be damaging not only to kids’ self-esteem and confidence but also to their school performance. On the other side, bullying behavior often signals deep insecurities or unresolved troubles at home.

Bullying usually starts as early as pre-school, so it is never too early to bring up this topic. Later, it is important to make sure your child knows that he can come to you if he is ever bullied.

2. Self-esteem and body image

Eating disorders are a growing problem among young people of all backgrounds. These issues are most common in girls, but they are also on the rise among boys and young men. Although there are many causes of eating disorders, the most common are low self-esteem and body image problems that come about due to impossibly high standards of beauty set by the media and perpetuated by one’s peers.

The signs of eating disorders may begin as early as elementary school, and they tend to reach their peak during the teen years. In talking about this subject, it is important for parents tell their children that they are beautiful just as they are. While we don’t want to perpetuate the impossible beauty standards, it is a good idea to give our kids the tools to live healthy lives.

3. Puberty

All children undergo major physical and emotional changes during puberty. The physical effects of this stage of life are most obvious for girls, but boys may also feel bewildered by the changes they notice in their bodies. Most schools cover these issues in their sexual education programs, but parents need to be there to pick up the slack, especially given the fact that sex ed programs are being cut in many areas throughout the U.S.

4. Sex

The fabled sex talk may be the most difficult conversation that parents have to have with their children. We like to think that our kids are not interested in sex, but the uncomfortable fact is that humans are sexual beings from a very early age. Meanwhile, kids may be just as uncomfortable hearing about sex from their parents. But by approaching the topic with a sense of humor and in the spirit of openness, parents can make sure that the talk is relatively painless. Plus, a little mild discomfort never hurt anyone.

5. Smoking, drugs, and alcohol

Kids usually have their first exposure to cigarettes and drugs during middle school, and the pressures become more and more intense during high school before peaking in college. Kids need to know that they can talk with their parents about anything, and they should not feel afraid to talk openly about any peer pressure or temptation they may be facing from their peers. Drugs and alcohol can damage young people for life, so it is important to tackle these issues as early as possible.

6. Internet privacy

It may be hard to fathom, but these days there are college freshman who cannot remember a world without the internet. Unfortunately, young people are far ahead of their parents in the realm of technology and online communication. As a result, many parents are not even aware of many of the serious issues that the internet has created.

While we may worry most about things like internet porn or web-based predators, privacy online is likely to become one of the defining issues of our time. Kids are wont to be reckless with their web-based sharing, and this can have potentially disastrous effects on their future lives. Parents should make an effort to be literate with regard to these issues and to make sure their kids set limits online.

By Eirian Hallinan

There have been modern developments in caring for babies who are born prematurely. However, in terms of fixing the problem of premature birth (preterm labour) there has not been very much improvement. It is not fully understood why some women break their waters or go into labour too early.

A premature baby who has not fully developed can be at a higher risk of health problems.

Approximately one in three babies is delivered prematurely for medical reasons. This can be for the mother’s safety or the baby’s or both. The following is a list of reasons that can cause premature birth:

* Your work is very strenuous or physically demanding

* You have experienced miscarriages previously during the second trimester

* You have had three or more terminations

* You are younger than 17 or older than 35

* You smoke or use illegal drugs

* You have had a premature baby delivered previously or experienced preterm labour before

* You are carrying more than one infant

* You have an abnormally shaped uterus or abnormal cervix

* You became pregnant whilst using an IUD and was left in place during the pregnancy

* You have kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes, pre-eclampsia, an infection or other medical condition

* You have a cervical infection such as group B streptococci, chlamydia, syphilis, gardnerella, trichomoniasis or gonorrhoea

* You were seriously underweight when you became pregnant

* You are not receiving appropriate antenatal care

* Your mother used the medication diethylstilboestrol (DES) whilst pregnant with you

* You have had a cone biopsy of your cervix

A pregnancy normally lasts forty weeks and this is measured from the first day of the last period (38 weeks after fertilisation). The opening of the cervix, (contractions and dilation) prior to the 37th week is premature labour. Premature babies are born before the 37th week.

If your baby is born too early there is a strong possibility that his or her lungs won’t be sufficiently developed which means your baby could be put on a ventilator to facilitate breathing. Unfortunately using a ventilator can have its complications therefore doctors do try to ensure the baby is off the ventilator as soon as possible.

Maintaining a normal body temperature is a difficulty for some premature babies. They must be kept warm so they do not become hypothermic. Being fed intravenously is also common with premature babies because they often have not yet adequately developed the muscles which coordinate sucking and swallowing.

Other complications which can afflict premature babies can be:

* Bleeding in the brain

* A higher risk of infections in particular meningitis and septicaemia

* Jaundice

* Kidney function problems

Premature babies suffer from increased risks of health complications in the future. These can include chronic lung problems, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment, visual impairment or blindness.

There is no accurate way to predict which mothers will suffer from preterm labour. There are no definite preventative measures to ensure they won’t deliver premature babies. However, there has been some advancement in decreasing the risks and there have been vast improvements in the care and treatment of premature babies.

By Abigail Brenner, M.D.
Co-Author of The Essential Guide to Baby's First Year

Life today is so fast-paced and demanding, it’s important that we find ways to reconnect with each other on a daily basis. Establishing family traditions helps us do just that. Traditions are those special times that bring families together, allowing us to express unity as a family and to create bonds that last a lifetime. Since every family unit is unique unto itself, the traditions created by each family are sure to be unique and special to the whole family unit as well as to each of its members individually.

Focus traditions around daily activities
You can utilize every day rituals, the activities and routine of daily living, to establish family traditions. These might include rituals surrounding bedtime. Talking, reading, snuggling up together, and saying a prayer are things to look forward to on a regular basis.

Spending time alone with each child, such as having dinner with individual children or doing a hobby or project together personalizes experiences and affords parents the opportunity to recognize and encourage each child’s special qualities. Weekly family meetings (perhaps with a favorite dinner) allows for discussion of upcoming schedules and activities for each family member and provides a forum to air differences, raise important issues, and plan ahead for the family.

Create a yearly family tradition
These outings can include camping, hiking, or going fishing at the first sign of spring. The first ballgame of the season is often an event anticipated weeks ahead of time. A picnic to a favorite place or a backyard BBQ for friends and neighbors can create an atmosphere of cooperation in the planning and preparation for the event.

The entire family can participate in a “spring cleaning” day around the house, or perhaps a day annually or monthly to lend a hand within the community.

Take an annual family vacation
Family trips can include traveling to reunions to visit with extended family. An annual vacation may be purely for rest, relaxation, and fun, or may have an educational bent, such as a visit to a cultural/historical site or one that reflects a specific place or event that is being studied in school.

What’s important is that each family member has an opportunity to weigh in on choosing where the family should go. Family trips can also have themes, such as ecology, learning about the environment, working on a farm or ranch, or “service trips” such as helping a community at home or abroad.

Use your family history
These traditions provide a sense of continuity and cultural identity and allow us to explore the similarities, the things that resonate within each of us individually, with our ancestors. Visiting the cemetery to the gravesites of family members is common to many cultures and affords the family a time to honor and remember those who have gone before us.

Beyond hearing stories about one’s ancestors, making a trip of “discovery” to the mother country, the home of one’s ancestors, puts families up close and personal with the land and landmarks of one’s relatives.

Family objects and artifacts, things inherited from family members (Bibles, wine cups, candlesticks, baptismal outfits, Christmas ornaments, etc.) can be incorporated into family rituals and ceremonies.

Start a holiday tradition
Birthdays, anniversaries, and other personal family events are occasions to establish any number of traditions, such as a favorite cake or meal, or visiting a place closely associated with the event.

Annual religious and national rituals and ceremonies provide unity in community, celebrating with those who share ideas and beliefs. Beyond what we have in common, though, families can learn together about other spiritual traditions by visiting local houses of worship and participating in holidays and celebrations of other traditions. This practice encourages tolerance, acceptance, and diversity.

There’s no doubt that the benefits of establishing family traditions go well beyond spending time together. These are five reasons why we should create family traditions.

Traditions establish and strengthen family bonds by providing a solid structure, a sense of continuity, and a feeling of belonging.

Family teaches values. Traditions support and communicate a family’s belief system. They instill faith and convey the family’s perspective on life experiences.

The immediate family serves as your witnesses through life’s transitions, sharing and committing to each other in times of joy and celebrations and lending support and comfort through crises, disappointments, and losses.

A healthy family unit is a vital force in the nurturing and molding of a child’s identity. Family traditions are a sound way to foster a sense of stability and security and this contributes to the emotional health, self-esteem, and self-respect of family members.

The family serves as the model for all interpersonal relationships. The way an individual is cared for, supported, encouraged, allowed to express and be themselves in the family, or not, enormously influences the choices and decisions an individual makes moving into the future.

Family traditions are part of the “language” of a family, a short-hand, symbolic way of relating that everyone understands. As life moves forward and people grow and change, family traditions keep us connected. For sure, they create memories for everyone to share for a lifetime, and even beyond.
I like the results it had on my glasses. It seems to have a protective coating to my glasses. Water doesn't seem to penetrate it and it is not too oily either. It is nice. It is priced at $4.99. This is great if you go to the beach a lot or work outside a lot.
They material was soft and my kids seemed to enjoy the feeling of the socks on their feet. The socks had a smooth light feeling to them. Shoes seem to slip right on them. These socks are priced at $6.95. They com in many sizes.
Cellulite is a collection of stagnant fat cells underneath of skin that needs to be broken down by frequent massaging that improves circulation. Exercise and sensible diet is another "trick" that works, but not all of us like this "trick". Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager is a short cut.

Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager is a simple device that replaces a massage terapist and expensive lazer treatments. Can be used by anyone on any part of the body. How it works? It's a hand held device constructed with 7 deep set metal spheres that roll on your skin and provide deep tissue massage improving circulation and delivering oxygen to the stagnant cells. It breaks down bulging and uneven fat cells "ironing" out the surface of the skin.

I was lucky enough to receive a Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager for review. It is not the most comforting device but it does massage deep in the tissue. I like my husband using it on me. It almost feels professional. I use it on my legs and thighs.

You have to be careful because using the Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager can leave bruises. They usually appear a day or two after use but the Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager does work against Cellulite. It massages it to submission and your skin looks nice and even. You can tell a big difference after a week. This is prefect for us ladies. We all have certain places we feel uncomfortable with because of Cellulite.

The Phat QR Anti Cellulite Deep Tissue Massager is priced at $26.00. This is a good price compared to what you will be paying at a Spa! Pretty awesome huh! You can use this in the privacy of your own home.

Check out Skin QR Organics for more awesome skin products.

You get free domestic shipping with orders $100.00 and up.

Overall I enjoyed this product and wait to try this long term to see what effects it has. I would recommend this product to any woman.
If you currently replace your blade every 2 weeks, you will be able to use the same blade for up to 12 weeks! How awesome does that sound.

MAGNAblade is a revolutionary new product that extends the performance of most razor blades currently on the market. It accomplishes this with the built-in magnetic force field that prevents the separations of the molecules on the edge of the blade keeping it sharper longer.

Think about all the money you will save on buying shavers because you won't have to worry about replacing them as often. Plus MAGNAblade doesn't allow razors to rust as quickly. I got the opportunity to review MAGNAblade and I was very happy with the results. It is a great razor dock that gives razors a longer life span.

MAGNAblade Features:
Eco-friendly
Extends the life of your razor.
Works Instantly
Economical

Lets face it most adults shave. So these babies are a necessity. You can purchase this here for $24.99. A good price for something that will last 12 weeks.

Overall I was pleases with my experience with this product. This is great for those that need to shave all the time.
