Every girl or some guys I know seems to be working out for a summah body since its already spring and SUMMER is so close :D Means BEACH time!

Me, I'm way less motivated to workout. Meehhh.
But though I did find some nice posters to get more concious of getting a fitter body! (but seriously Nee workout?)

St Valentin

St Valentin! Though it wasn't such a big hype here in Paris but of cos me, I had to have my day of lovey dovey sappiness and fine dining plus the joy of getting MY PRESENT!!
It was like any normal day though cos we had work/classes etc..
At night after my late delayed work (sheesh), we went to have dinner nearby. We went to a Crêperie [http://www.restaurant-creperie-antony.com/] which was SOOOO good! Too bad I didn't much of the crêpe's picture cos we were really hungry at 10pm and just decided to gobble them down!

Childhood Friendship

Had my childhood friend come over to visit me in Paris was just AMAZING. That would be the one word that summed up here almost 2 weeks stay in Paris with me and Jerome :)

She's Sue Zan or fondly known as Barbara! I knew her since 6 years old during our 1st year in primary school (we were so so tiny and skinny then :D) and we even skipped a grade together!
We kinda grew apart during high school years but we still did keep in touch somehow or rather and not being strangers.
Even after being in Paris I kept in touch as she knew what I was going through and she was in Europe as well in 2010. Then whenever I got my ass back to Malaysia, she would always take me out to MAKAN (eat) :D
FINALLY! After months of her planning and trying to come to Paris to visit, she DID! And she brought lots and lots of goodies for me! (Plus some love and stuff from my parents ♥ )

We had a good time renewing our 18 years of friendship here in Paris and always mocking and laughing at random moments with our crazy antics. Its refreshing talking Malay a little after all this time. YES my Malay is still in flow! whoop whoop!

When it SNOWS in Paris

Sunday morning I got up to an amazing view of snow outside my window! It was all white and magical. There was not too much snow (not too thick) but it was enough for me to go crazy and play with it.
So I had to drag Jerome up early on a Sunday morning to go around for a walk. He didn't complain because he is a kid at heart too :P

The last weekend has been really fun! Jerome was away for a dance competition with his school (and they got 1st :D). So it was a good alone time for us. I went out for a birthday party and meet some lovely people and ended up having a crazy night.

Paris is getting really cold and that means I never want to leave the apartment. Though I love finding new things to do. And... We went ice skating at Hotel De Ville! It was so much fun! Outdoors and in the 2 degree weather, that's really winter ice skating! (not like what i used to do in back home in Malaysia, its always indoors).
Also being here, I keep meeting new people all the time, and its always so interesting going out and not knowing what you're gonna do or who's you're gonna meet. Its always an adventure in Paris.

Raging Redness

I can't help but to keep falling in love with RED now.

Other than that the weather in Paris now is amazing, sunny but freshly cold, always nice to go out and have fun with the girlies. Long walks and talks around Paris helps after long tiring working days. I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that the weather stays like this way for awhile :)

2 days in Paris

So this trailer to the movie, 2 DAYS IN PARIS would really describe how it is for a foreigner living in Paris. How it has been for me to experience discovering everything different here in Paris, the culture, the food, the people and the language.
I loved this movie, watched it yesterday with Jerome and I went "ooooooo that's so right", "yeah, French people are so like that, sheesh". But now though since I've been living here for quite a but, im fitting in ok - so so :)

Whoop whoop. I cant wait for 2012 to start rolling. Its my year! The dragon year :)

2011 was all about big moves and new style of living and a whole lot of sacrificing. I am happy things will get better though.

I wish everyone a great end to 2011 and a blessed and happy 2012!

Xmas And New Years!

Christmas is around the corner! less than 10 days now! Every corner of Paris is lighted up, brightly decorated and shiny everywhere. Xmas markets are all around to get gifts, warm food and all things Xmas-y. Its amazingly nice and beautiful everywhere. (not very much with all the crowds and tourists around).

I wish things was very much different though I'm still making the best of it. So many changes from the past few years. Everything much less but sometimes I guess I get more from experiencing. I can't make it home for Xmas or New Year, can't make it to Sweden as well so I'm going to be here in Paris! (mixed feelings). I am happy and grateful nevertheless I've been invited to spend with my 2nd family here :)
And the best part of Xmas and New Year : PRESENTS!!!! and new clothes for New Year!!
Everyone here have been asking what do i want?! I don't have an answer and well back home we don't really say what we want to our elderly. Its politeness!
I had to think what I would like and I could only come up with clothes, shoes or a ticket HOME! heh.

But my wish list.
1. TICKET HOME!!!!!!!
2. Red coat :D
3. Beautiful glitter pullovers
4. Jeans!
5. A gold dress
6. Boots, brown comfy boots.
7. Books, loads of new books to read and take me to make belief land.
8. Hedgehog
9. Red velvet cupcakes
10. Gift cards for shopping (HAHA books and clothes here I come)

I'm not difficult at all! :)

Winter Blues

This is exactly how I feel. I'm guessing its the winter blues, but the weather isn't even that bad! I'm not happy and its been awhile I'm having this feeling. Boooo.
I hope it passes by like a grey cloud hanging in the sky. I miss home. I miss how life was, in KL it was easy, here in Paris, so called city of love its getting miserable.
Love is not easy, I don't think I would ever wanna get married (at least till my parents knock some sense in my head). I'm not suited for that lifestyle, I'm too much off a happy-go-lucky girl to be tied down :D
I'm keeping myself busy so I don't even think bout being miserable, so far work has been keeping me upbeat so I'm liking that part.
I can't wait to be busier and just keep doing things new , funny and different things with friends :)

A lil TLC when im sick

I've been sick a whole week!! Working non stop with the cold weather hasn't been easy on me as well. In short it has been/ is depressing being far away from mum & dad who takes care of me like a baby. Even the best friends at home who will bug and get my ass out for some loving time.
Though here, I found some ways to make myself feel better. Packed food from home- aka maggi mee & Milo! and the other way SELF LOVING time.
I was banned to leave the apartment the whole weekend so I slept through it, ate a little, coughed my heart out ( a good work out for my flabby belly!) and slept some more. Did nothing else more interesting than that.
Its been all about me, I got to love me and try to care less bout others now.
I'm getting better today. I am getting my voice back :) SO HAPPY!

Plus win points :- I've had a good friend inviting me to her place and she cooked me some yumyum food and cheered me up. Also received loads of smses, msges, calls from friends and everytime it never fails to make me smile that i am thought of :)

Well been busy, didn't even realise a couple of weeks have gone by.
There was drama, issues ups and downs but i'm getting thru it.
I'm kinda loving my job now :)
I have adorable kids to teach and play with, they keep me happy and forget troubles by just looking at them smile :)

Halloween!

We went for a halloween party on a boat! It was so last minute, I didn't know what to wear or do! So looked up last minute ideas on Google and I knew the easiest to do was to be a kitty or a witch. So of cos I was a witch, just managed to scribble my face off.
Was fun a really fun night though. I hope so did everyone else! :)

Weekend Love

After the whole weekend or going out or partying, Sunday's are always the best time. Movies, cuddling and of cos food! :) And mostly its always Sushi Sundays. Gotta love.

Just a few steps away from home, SushiShop [http://www.sushishop.fr/] is there, they have the best freshest sushi!
